Speaker 3 (1:37) Hoo-wow edition with your host, Mindy! And featuring today's special guest, Jonathan Scott! Speaker 1 (1:54) Welcome to Two What's in a Wow People Who Wow Edition, the getting to know you game show that separates the wows from the what's of some of the world's most interesting people. And our guest today is no exception, says here he's a property brother, a twin brother, a TV host, a builder, an interior designer, a climate crusader, and... an all-around good human being who has repaired and renovated over 1,000 houses in his career. Please give it up for Jonathan. Speaker 2 (2:31) That's the greatest introduction I've ever had. Speaker 1 (2:33) Is that all true? Speaker 2 (2:35) Yeah, it is. Is Speaker 1 (2:35) that all Speaker 2 (2:35) true? You forgot to include overachiever. Speaker 1 (2:38) Oh, I forgot that one. Yes, you've got, you should have a sash on that says overachiever. My business card is like Speaker 2 (2:44) three feet long. It's really annoying. Speaker 1 (2:46) It's a CVS receipt, your business card. You do a lot of things. Yeah, Speaker 2 (2:51) we've been dreaming big since we were kids. Started our first business at seven years old. And yeah, we just. I've done a million things since then, but I like to keep busy. And our parents encouraged us to follow whatever passions we had. And so we wanted to try everything so we knew what we would like best. Speaker 1 (3:07) And when you say we, you are talking about you and your twin brother. Speaker 2 (3:12) That's right, Drew. Speaker 1 (3:13) Drew. And you and Drew, first of all, who's the older twin? I Speaker 2 (3:18) am four minutes older. Speaker 1 (3:19) You're four minutes older. Do you act like the older twin? Would you say that? Speaker 2 (3:25) I'm a bit of a troublemaker. Especially when I was a kid, I was the one who was usually getting up to no good, but all with good intention. But most of our adventures, Drew and I did together. Growing up, we're very close and same. We've run our business together. So anyone who tells you that family can't work together, not true. We've been doing it for 41 years. Speaker 1 (3:45) So can you describe, I mean, as somebody who is a builder, a contractor, an interior designer, somebody who can build a house and make it look pretty, can you describe your bedroom or your bedrooms growing up? Speaker 2 (3:58) Our room growing up was very cowboy themed. So we had lots of like chunky, rustic woods and, you know, wallpaper that had, you know, Western scenes on it. And we actually shot a commercial a couple of years ago. And the... production designer on the commercial had photos of our bedroom, our childhood bedroom, and recreated it today exactly the way it was. Right down to the onesie that I was wearing, they recreated it in my current six foot five stature, but it was the same print as the original. So it was a very fun bedroom. We would play lots of games where we would pass things from the top bunk to the bottom, like fishing with our rope belt. And then whoever's in the bottom bunk would tie something on and we would pull it back up. And it was usually something like... dirty socks or something gross. Speaker 1 (4:43) All right. Well, Jonathan, we're going to play a little game here today that we call Two What's in a Wow, People Who Wow. And this is the getting to know you game show that separates the wows from the what's of your life. So to refresh everyone on how this game works, we're going to play three rounds today. And in each round, you are going to give us three weird, interesting, unusual, wild, weird, wow facts about yourself. But only one of those facts will be a true wow. The other two are just a couple of made up what's. It's up to us to guess which one is the true one. Which one is your wow? If I guess correctly. I get a point. If I guess incorrectly, I must do a ridonkulous challenge given to me by my pet pigeon, Reggie. Are you ready to play? That Speaker 2 (5:31) was my Reggie impression. Speaker 1 (5:33) Oh, so good. Speaker 2 (5:34) Do you know him? A hundred percent we know Reggie. Whoa, Speaker 1 (5:38) Reggie. Okay. All right, Jonathan. Round one is all about fandom. Things that you were obsessed with as a kid. Give us three weird, unusual, interesting, wow facts about yourself and fandom. And I'm Speaker 2 (5:56) going Speaker 1 (5:56) to try to guess which one is real. Speaker 2 (5:57) Okay, so two things I was obsessed with as a kid. A, breakdancing in the Coder
