Speaker 5 (0:22) and welcome to Watch Where Crap Ends, a podcast about all that crap on Bravo that we just love to talk about. This is part two of the recap. If you missed part one, go check out your podcast feed. It's right there. And without further ado, let's get right back into the recap. Speaker 4 (0:34) So we get a lesson from Erin. She's like, real Speaker 1 (0:37) estate in New York is insanely expensive and a rent-controlled apartment is amazing to have. I would trade Abe for... a rent control department Speaker 4 (0:47) oh my god if abe just had a place of a would walk right into a popcorn ceiling apartment just to get some silence i can guarantee you that right now the babe abe Speaker 5 (0:58) the Speaker 4 (0:58) babe needs a popcorn ceiling right now so hard he's probably had two weeks of walking around just listening to jam Speaker 1 (1:05) jam she calls me jam is this nice jam Speaker 5 (1:11) He's going to write us a message. I actually enjoy when she talks about jam. So, we love you, Abe the Babe. So, Cy is like, I would love a rent-controlled apartment. And Daisy's like, well, Cy, you would never live in a rent-controlled apartment. Yes, I would. And so, Daisy's like, what? Like, she would never. She's like. She'd be like, where's the amenities? Where's my sauna? Like, you wouldn't do that, Cy. And so then Cy is like, you Speaker 2 (1:38) know what? This is my first time having amenities. Now I'm in bliss, happiness, heaven. I love my fucking building. Is it expensive? And am I busting my ass to pay for it? Yeah. Speaker 1 (1:50) And I'm proud that I could fucking provide that shit for my family at the end of the day. It Speaker 2 (1:55) has nothing to do with a goddamn rent-stabilized popcorn ceiling having fucking apartment. Speaker 5 (1:59) I'm like, what are you? What is this monologue about? Like, I liked it, but I didn't quite understand it. Speaker 4 (2:06) Well, we find out that Cy has turned this whole conversation to being pissed off at Daisy because Daisy has been judging. size apartment because size apartment is $90 million a year or whatever. It's like $25,000 a month. And she's like, why are you spending $25,000 a month when you're going through a divorce? You do not have the money to do this. And she's like, but Speaker 1 (2:28) it's got a sauna. She's like, oh, for Christ's sake. Well, we don't all want to live in a rent control popcorn fucking ceiling place. Okay. I work. get a better job so Speaker 4 (2:37) it seems like that's what their fight has been and so psy is using this dinner to like get back at daisy and be like oh you're mad at them for judging your popcorn ceilings when you're judging my 25 000 a month apartment that i'm working my ass off for so why is it okay to judge my apartment but they can't judge your apartment it was a really roundabout way of getting to a fight that i did not see coming Speaker 5 (3:00) It was, yeah, it came out of left field because like you said before, Psy was kind of saying like, hmm, you seem really insecure about them saying that you have a popcorn ceiling. You probably don't even want that popcorn ceiling. You probably don't like where you're living, okay? And you're going to judge me because I decided to move into a luxury high rise. And Daisy's like, why are you living in a luxury high rise? It's so expensive. Like, you don't have the money to do this. So that's like this weird subtext to this, but we're kind of having to figure it out because it's all coming in in weird bits and pieces. Speaker 1 (3:30) Carol's like, I haven't been here for eight years, but it only feels like a couple of weeks. Look how natural I am. All right. Hold on. Give me some popcorn as a prop. Whoa. Popcorn. Well, now I'm going to look at the other side fighting. Popcorn. Oh, geez. Speaker 4 (3:47) I'm glad someone finally came up with a popcorn bit to do on a Housewives show. I know. Carol. Speaker 5 (3:52) So Daisy is like, look. I'm nobody to talk about how to spend your money, but her rent is like $25,000. And I mean, what's happening in your marriage? You don't know where you're going to be in the next six months. Shit is changing, and it's changing quickly. You know, you could live in a gorgeous three-bedroom apartment and pay half of what you pay and not have to do this. Like, but Speaker 2 (4:12) why is where I live a topic? Speaker 5 (4:15) It's because you were the one who turned the conversation into that, sort of, I think. Yeah. Speaker 1 (4:23) This has been an unsolicited advice queen for years, and I'm sick of it, okay? Like she'd rather live under popcorn ceilings. I mean, it's like the old lady who lives in a shoe. Speaker 5 (4:34) But wait, Sai does not want to talk about unsolicited advice giving. That's like all that Sai has done. You know Speaker 2 (4:41) what, I'm living a dream and I'm happy right now. I'm happy. I'm fucking happy. Look how happy I am. I'm bringing up a Speaker 1 (4:47) Passover at the Seder. You Speaker 2 (4:49) know what, I'm happy. Speaker 1 (4:50) Yeah, she's happy. Speaker 2 (4:52) Just look at her. Doesn't she look happy? Speaker 1 (4:54) Yeah, she's happy. Look at happy, happy sigh. Speaker 2 (4:58) She's the happiest, happy person I've ever met. Speaker 2 (5:03) So, Sia's like, I'm living the dream. I got a pool. When it's snowing, I'm in the fucking pool. You know? You know? And Speaker 5 (5:09) they're like, and then Aaron's like, but she sees your stress. It's coming from a good place. Speaker 5 (5:16) Yeah. Well, Speaker 1 (5:16) I'm stressed because of other things, and that's why I'm stressed. But where I live makes me fucking happy, okay? I see how happy my kids are. That brings me happiness. Speaker 4 (5:25) And Daisy's like, good, fine, then that's all that matters. Speaker 1 (5:27) Yeah, because they're safe. They're next to their schools. I'm a 10-minute walk from fucking you, okay? That's nice. I see you. Speaker 4 (5:34) She's like, okay, great. Good for you. Speaker 1 (5:38) Can't you tell I'm really Speaker 2 (5:39) happy? Speaker 5 (5:41) So then they do a little toast, like, thanks for dragging us here to remote Brooklyn for this terrible Seder. And by the way, everyone, I just want to say, while we're here talking about Daisy's popcorn ceilings, while we are also in her parents' old home from the 1950s, I'd love to invite you all to my private island so we can finally have a nice place to shoot at for once. Is anyone in? Speaker 4 (6:08) Where we call popcorn ceilings the sky. Okay? Speaker 4 (6:14) They're like, sure, that sounds fun. Oh, you know I love a private island, honey. Do bees love honey? Look at us three months ago, me and Parvitt at the private island. Pictures. Parvitt and I were actually on the island. It's absolutely stunning. Speaker 5 (6:33) Tots of like Parvitt being like, I rate this palm frond an eight out of ten. So then... Speaker 4 (6:42) This pomegranate came off that tree over there. And you know what? It's a pretty good looking pomegranate. The colors are pretty good on it. I've cut it in half. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Extra seedy pomegranate. I'm going to go ahead and give this a 6 out of 10. Sorry, Aaron. Speaker 5 (6:57) So Haley's like not to overstate this but this may have been the worst Seder in the history of Judaism So they all leave and now it's time for everyone to do Speaker 4 (7:10) stuff around the town Speaker 4 (7:13) Haley is rollerblading, guys, just in case you thought that was a one scene for TV thing. Nope, she's really rollerblading. And she goes into the coffee shop and she's like, could I have a regular milk cappuccino? And they're like, yeah. She's like, Speaker 3 (7:30) mm-hmm, that's Speaker 4 (7:31) right. I'm the one who got it. A regular milk cappuccino. They normally don't do that for people. Look at me Speaker 5 (7:40) being crazy. on rollerblades getting a cappuccino and then carol's getting ready for a gala that she'll be going to later this episode so she's walking down the street with her friend eric and uh carol's just like holding all like a ton of stuff and eric is just like you know just walking along he's like um excuse me Speaker 2 (7:57) but you're the gay and i'm the lady you're supposed to hold all the stuff for me especially because i'm famous Speaker 2 (8:04) I love the theater. For me, it feels like the heartbeat of New York City. And I got involved with an off-Broadway theater group called Carolyn Bessette's Off-Broadway Theater Group. It's great. But they rebranded to the new group. Speaker 1 (8:18) Something really interesting I find with the kids is called Carolyn Bessette Summer Theater. Summer Stock. Speaker 3 (8:27) Carolyn Bessette Speaker 1 (8:29) Summer Stock. Speaker 1 (8:32) I'm really supporting it because theater is the heartbeat of New York City. You know, when I think of theater, it's the beat that's the heart in New York City. Why Speaker 4 (8:42) do you keep saying that? Are you trying to just word it different times? They're getting them all on camera, Carol. Speaker 1 (8:48) Yeah, well, theater, theater is, you know, New York is a body, and theater is the heart that makes the blood go through it. Do you need me to say it in a different way, guys? Speaker 5 (9:00) She's just really trying to get like that Huey Lewis musical onto the schedule. Hey Speaker 2 (9:07) guys, what about the Art of Rock and Roll for our music? I think we could really do it well. Speaker 3 (9:14) It's time Speaker 4 (9:14) for a commercial. It's time for a Crappin's commercial. Speaker 1 (9:20) The arts, particularly Broadway and the theater, is the heartbeat of New York City. We know. And the gala is a way that we can raise money for the theater. Speaker 4 (9:31) So now Erica FaceTimes. Yes. This is the Speaker 1 (9:35) heartbeat. Speaker 4 (9:36) So Erica FaceTimes. And she's like, hi, Carol. It's me, Erica. Speaker 1 (9:40) Well, obviously I invited Erica because she's rich and I want to get her money. So hi, Erica. Are you going to be coming to the theater? It's the heartbeat of New York City. She's Speaker 4 (9:50) like, oh, yeah. I can't go because, as everybody knows, film trumps theater. And I have to go to the Devil Wears Prada premiere. Speaker 2 (10:00) You have to? She's Speaker 5 (10:02) like, I mean, Anne and her husband invited me. you know, by the me and Ankh. Speaker 2 (10:07) Like? Speaker 5 (10:08) And the gay's like, like, Anne-Anne? Are we talking about the same Anne? Anne Speaker 1 (10:13) Hathaway! Does she like theater? Speaker 2 (10:19) Wait a second. Anne-Anne? Do you mean Anne of Green Gables? I thought that was a fictional person. Speaker 1 (10:28) Anne Heche? Gosh, I haven't heard from her in a while. I should probably call her. No, it's Anne Hathaway. It is Anne Hathaway. Oh, well, Anne Hathaway supports Off-Broadway. It's very important. Tell Anne. I mean, come on, it's not like Meryl invited you. Speaker 5 (10:44) Wow. Anne Hathaway catches a stray out of nowhere from Carol. Who Speaker 2 (10:49) cares if Anne Hathaway invites you? The real cat is if Meryl does it. Meryl, do you like the heartbeat of Broadway? Speaker 4 (11:00) So... Aaron's like, yeah, no, I'm going to the Devil Wears Prada. So Speaker 5 (11:04) sorry. Yeah. Sorry. So then we see, now we have a sad scene
