Speaker 1 (0:02) This is a global production. Oh, Speaker 2 (0:05) I don't like matcha. Maybe Speaker 3 (0:06) I like matcha. I'm trying to think. It smells like cardboard. Oh, yeah. That's not bad at all. No, that tastes like a teabag. Oh. No. Speaker 2 (0:17) And welcome to Amber and Vogue. Vogue and Amber. We're here. And as always, one of us. Speaker 3 (0:33) She is not of my persuasion, all right? She is not of my inclination. Speaker 2 (0:38) Whenever any of our families see like two girls walking along and holding on, we're like, look Amber, there's your mates. Speaker 3 (0:45) Neil, they're of Amber's inclination. Speaker 2 (0:50) God, Nels already had a lot to deal with us, didn't he? We were only talking about last night. This man was so straight-laced and just like... Speaker 3 (0:57) He tried to read us a book, The Hobbit, and we were having none of it. Speaker 2 (1:01) He tried to like... dad us and we were just feral pigs poor Neil okay Amber Emma's pushing what's in your world this week I have to find the book I'm reading because I'm up so much at night that I was like I need to read something instead of instead of always being on my phone so I have I remember I mentioned that book the last time so I'm oh no we're meant to be watching first whoops Speaker 2 (1:30) Oh, I thought you were just talking in general there. Well, I'll find the book as well for the next bit, but I'll tell you Speaker 3 (1:34) what I'm watching. Do you want to hear? Speaker 2 (1:37) Yeah. Hang on, let me find the book. Hang on, just so I have it ready. Speaker 3 (1:42) I'll talk about what I'm watching. Go on. You're usually watching four or five things. No, I told you I'm just watching TikTok. But I did watch, I tried to watch the Irish Traders and I just didn't commit beyond episode. I didn't even, I just wasn't tuned in enough. Oh Speaker 2 (1:57) my God, the Traders is starting in October. I can't wait to watch Speaker 3 (2:01) that one. Speaker 2 (2:01) I Speaker 3 (2:01) can't Speaker 2 (2:01) wait to see it. Speaker 3 (2:02) But I did watch, I think it's the number one TV show at the moment. It's called Furious and I'd mentioned it before. It's been on my list for a while. Is that the thing about the mom? Speaker 2 (2:14) No. Speaker 3 (2:14) What's this one Speaker 2 (2:15) about? It's not a documentary. No, no. You're Speaker 3 (2:17) one that was in Shameless. The US version of Shameless is the lead in it and she's also, I can't remember the actress's name. You're one that was in Say Nothing. Oh, that's what I was trying to watch. I just Speaker 2 (2:29) couldn't remember the name of it. It's really, really, Speaker 3 (2:32) really good. Is Speaker 2 (2:33) that on Speaker 3 (2:33) Disney? Yeah. Loved it, loved it, loved it. And then I have a few more on my list because when I download the stuff, I just... You Speaker 2 (2:40) can only say stuff that you've actually watched. So this week, I'm going to say I watched the Murdoch... No, the Idaho... Murders? Murders, yeah. About those four college students that were killed in their house. Speaker 3 (2:52) He's going back to court. He's challenging. Speaker 2 (2:57) So because you know who's up for it and everything because he's been in the papers so much that it was such a shocking thing that happened. They basically came home after a night out and he killed four of them. Four of them. And it was in such quick succession because when the timeline, you see the timeline and how he was caught was his car. But when you see the timeline of what he, how quickly he did it. Because he pled guilty. at the time um he didn't actually it didn't go to trial he just got sentenced because he pled guilty so the family were absolutely furious because they never found out what his actual reasoning like obviously there's never a reason to do something like that to somebody but like to try and understand why he had come to that conclusion to kill those four people that he didn't know in a Speaker 3 (3:42) different college Oh he didn't Speaker 2 (3:43) know them? No he didn't know them he was going to a college in Washington State this was in Idaho and he used to like they could track his car from his cell phone and like for months before the murders he was coming up to this town which was like 40 minutes away and he was kind of basically lurking around, like stalking them, which they never knew. He obviously Speaker 3 (4:00) ran into them somewhere. It's just... I imagine probably on a night out or something. You just never know with people. It could have been like, I don't know, like... Just a chance meeting and perhaps like it could be as simple or as stupid or as small as someone being rude to him. Just Speaker 2 (4:16) the aggressiveness of the crime and like stabbing people. But it is a really good watch. It's really sad, but I did enjoy watching that. Speaker 3 (4:27) Well, Furious is brilliant and also Say Nothing is really good as well. God, Say Nothing is amazing Speaker 2 (4:31) if you Speaker 3 (4:32) haven't Speaker 2 (4:32) seen it. Speaker 3 (4:32) She's Speaker 2 (4:32) a Speaker 3 (4:32) fab actress. And then on the plane on the way over last night, I was watching Amanda Land. I just, honestly, it is... I need to tell you, I haven't seen it. Laugh Speaker 2 (4:41) out Speaker 3 (4:41) loud. It is so... She is just brilliant. I need to... I have to watch the second series of that. Okay, so what are you over this week? Oh, sorry, what else did I watch? We're over Speaker 2 (4:51) Line Bike because they pissed us off this week. I'm down Speaker 1 (4:54) 25 Speaker 2 (4:55) bucks man I forgot to tell Amber that she has to download a Lime Pass and she's after paying 25 do you know Sven he never knew you could download a Lime Pass neither did I he's on a Lime I pay 6 Speaker 3 (5:06) .99 a month and I get Lime I saw that and I was like it would have been cheaper for me to do that Speaker 3 (5:13) Well, Speaker 2 (5:13) you can download a line past 399 to get you home. So it's going to cost you 30 quid. You might as well have got a taxi. But if you've got a taxi home, you're still saving a few bob. Speaker 3 (5:22) And I get a bit of exercise in and we all know I could do with some exercise. I tried two pairs of pants of Vogue's over this morning. I was like, I'm not going to bring any clothes. I'll just wear all her clothes. So I got, now I got the men's one, my Adidas ones, the yellow ones and the red ones. So they're quite loose. They're medium and like I fold the top of them. Yours are like leggings on me. Genuinely. I do quite like yours. And they definitely Speaker 2 (5:45) accentuate my body. And I don't want that. Butter. Butter, butter, butter, Speaker 3 (5:50) butter. Speaker 2 (5:50) Okay, what am I reading this week? I'm reading Love Scene, which I had spoken about before, but now I'm actually reading it. It took me, it didn't actually take that long to get into it. It's really easy to read and it's very Irish based. It's a book. It's obviously an Irish writer and I'm quite enjoying it because I'm up in the middle of the night. And as I said, I'm trying to stay off the internet. So I just. I'm reading Speaker 3 (6:12) transcribed voice notes. Speaker 2 (6:15) Okay, what are you listening to this week? Speaker 3 (6:17) Okay. I've been listening to a bit of old stuff like Joan Armatrading Love and Affection Dolores Keane The Old Caledonia Speaker 2
