Speaker 2 (0:00) This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. Speaker 1 (0:06) Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. Speaker 2 (0:19) Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Two Teas in a Pod and today I have a new co-host. Speaker 1 (0:24) Hi, new old. New old, yeah. Where have you been? You know, I'm not gonna lie, I was driving around yesterday and I missed you and I was gonna text you and call you but I just... I know, I miss you too. Speaker 2 (0:42) I miss you too. I wanted to call and talk shit, but I knew we were going to talk shit today and I Speaker 1 (0:47) didn't want to take anything away from the pod Speaker 2 (0:49) because Speaker 1 (0:50) I love everyone. Speaker 2 (0:51) Anything in particular that you wanted to talk shit about? Speaker 1 (0:56) It's probably changed 20 times since yesterday. I know. So whatever it was, first of all, I want to remember. Let me just start by saying, if you think I remember what I wanted to talk to you about yesterday, that is not Speaker 2 (1:09) happening. I know the feeling. That's like a fairy Speaker 1 (1:11) tale. Speaker 2 (1:11) Have you been watching Ultimate Girls Trip? Speaker 1 (1:14) You know, I did watch it the other night a little bit. I still haven't fully got into it. You know what it is? My mind, I have a lot going on in my head, so much going on that it's really, unless I got to talk on the pod, my mind isn't doing well because, you know, it's just so much going on. Speaker 2 (1:37) Yeah. Any, now that your son is married, now Gabby's getting married next, right? Speaker 1 (1:44) Yeah. So Gab's going to get married at Sundance in, what was that, Utah? Yeah, Utah. Because I called Lisa Barlow. So she's looking for someone to do makeup. She's looking for a string quartet, a DJ. Guys, I need help. Is it soon or is it next year or is it this year? August 21st next year. Oh, Speaker 2 (2:06) you're just going to throw the date out there. Yeah. Why not? Why not? Guys, is it Speaker 1 (2:11) Sundance? Go ahead. Stop by. I don't care. You have to take a gondola to get to the top of the mountain. You could have my ticket. Oh, the Speaker 2 (2:20) top of the mountain. Oh, fun. Oh, Speaker 1 (2:22) Gabby. You know Gabby. She's a tree hugger girl. Speaker 2 (2:25) Yeah. Yeah. Did you see the Speaker 1 (2:28) video though? Sorry. Did you see? I just posted Frankie and Nicole's video from their wedding. They finally got it back. It is insane. It's so, it's a literal fairy tale. Speaker 2 (2:39) Are you guys giving any of the video to Jersey to play on the show? I probably should. I didn't even think of that. Yeah. Speaker 1 (2:47) Yeah. I'll do that. Yeah. You should ask them. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 2 (2:50) So we here in Orange County, I know you've been recapping it. I haven't listened. Why would you get mad? No, I just so busy all the time. I just don't like, I don't, I should sit down and listen. I don't even listen to myself. I should. Speaker 1 (3:08) I know. I feel that way. I feel Speaker 2 (3:10) you. But no, I mean, I'm enjoying it. Are you? So there's been a lot of backlash about this season. I do know that. Not enough drama. I mean, nobody's ever happy. I give too much drama. They don't like it. I don't give enough drama. They don't like it. It's like, whatever. You can't figure them out. That's for sure. Speaker 1 (3:32) So there was, you know, remember there was a housewife. She came on and she was wild. And super wild. Not your show, another show. Speaker 1 (3:44) She came back the next year, a different version of herself and no one really liked her anymore. Speaker 2 (3:51) It's almost the way it is. You can thank the fans on Instagram. Speaker 1 (3:57) In Speaker 2 (3:58) my situation, it's different. It wasn't about the fans. I've never given, I never cared what they've said. Like I've gotten backlash for years. It was more about what happened at the reunion and the way that I was treated. and accused of and all those things. Speaker 1 (4:12) Right. So, and you know what though? I mean, tell me you're less stressed and are you, I have a question. Are you enjoying this? Yeah, I am. I am enjoying it Speaker 2 (4:24) and I am less stressed. I think for me, what I battle with is when I do a project, I want it to be good. I want it to be really good. And it like, it's hurtful to see people say like, oh, it's terrible. I saw Danny Pellegrino post that he can't even watch it anymore and things like that. And to me, like, I want to do a project and I want to be successful. And when it's not successful, then I get turned off. Well, Speaker 1 (4:50) not everyone's saying that. You're only seeing the people that are saying that. Speaker 2 (4:55) Right. Speaker 1 (4:56) Those are the ones that hit harder. Speaker 2 (4:57) Okay, good. Because those are the ones that hit harder or the ones that like say things. And people like you respect, like Danny, like he's a big fan. Did you see what he Speaker 1 (5:06) posted? Yes. No, I mean with the baby coming. Speaker 2 (5:11) No, I haven't. He's got a new baby coming? He's got another baby. A little girl. Oh, how sweet. Since I have a new little baby girl, I haven't been able to be on Instagram that much because my days are filled with picking up puppy poop and taking her on walks multiple times a day to tire this little girl out that I don't have much time now. I don't do puppies. I Speaker 1 (5:34) love them. I would never turn a puppy away, but I get the older dogs. What's the question? The Speaker 2 (5:41) question is, no matter what I feed her, Speaker 2 (5:46) She, her, her stools are very soft and runny and she has to go all the time. So I figured, took her into the vet. They did testing on her. Nothing wrong with her. We called Abby and Speaker 1 (5:58) get this. And Speaker 2 (5:59) then, or you can call her later, whatever. But then I tried changing her food to, to like kibble for sensitive stomachs. Not working. So then I gave her boiled chicken and rice and perfect. She's got normal, hard, normal stools. Speaker 1 (6:20) And then I read now. Speaker 2 (6:21) Well, now I read you can't keep her on that because there's not enough nutrients. There isn't. So what do I do? Just deal with fucking my whole backyard being smeared with dog shit. Speaker 2 (6:45) All right, let's get into Salt Lake City, season seven, episode two, recap. Speaker 1 (6:52) Did you watch the first episode? I did. So I watched both episodes. First episode was so sad. So sad. Yeah. I mean, like, oh, OK, Speaker 2 (7:05) so we have a new cast member and her name's Ashley Kwai, but she goes by Kwai. OK, she is building this house. It is a 10,000 square foot house on a hillside and they own all the property around it. So they will have this amazing view. She's with Lisa. They've been friends for a long time. And Kwai's only lapse in judgment, according to Lisa, is being friends with Whitney. Speaker 2 (7:32) I Speaker 1 (7:32) mean, I don't remember them being so close, but they were, right? I've watched every season, but I think they've been not close for so long. I don't remember them being close. Speaker 2 (7:45) No, they have been fighting, it feels like, forever. That's what I'm saying. Now, Kwai's husband has been in Florida 80 % of the time for his job, which she really doesn't know what he does. Speaker 1 (7:57) Oh, come on already. Stop it. Do you believe Speaker 2 (8:01) that or do you think she just doesn't want to say? And then she kind of like plays it off and then like talks about his nipples. Listen. She's a lot. I'm not off to a good Speaker 1 (8:12) start with this. I know. I'm just not. She's like, Speaker 2 (8:17) when he Speaker 1 (8:17) walks to the door, I'm like, nipple, nipple. I love his nipples. I love people that try too hard to be funny in their first confessional. Speaker 1 (8:31) I'm like, it's not funny when you try hard. Speaker 2 (8:35) It's not. But Whitney was best friends with Kwai's sister-in-law, Sherry. We saw one season, I can't remember, they were best friends and she passed away. Last season. And I think that that's why Kwai has so much loyalty to Whitney is because Whitney's been there for the husband, which is her brother-in-law and the kids. Speaker 1 (8:55) where's the loyalty she just said to lisa the your worst thing you ever your worst uh for um whatever she said is Whitney. Well, Lisa Speaker 2 (9:06) said that to Kwai, I believe. Speaker 1 (9:08) Oh, sorry about that. Kwai's Speaker 2 (9:10) only lapse in judgment, according to Lisa, is being friends with Whitney. Wrong. For the Speaker 1 (9:16) reason Speaker 2 (9:17) that Kwai loves Speaker 1 (9:19) Whitney, I Speaker 2 (9:20) don't blame her. Well, we can love other people. Like, just because you don't like somebody doesn't mean I can't like them. Speaker 1 (9:28) Yeah. That doesn't mean they're Switzerland. Yeah. That doesn't mean they're Switzerland. Well, I don't mean they're stupid for or they didn't take a side. Speaker 2 (9:37) I judge people on my interactions with them, not somebody else's. Right. Now, if I have, you know, there's an acquaintance and she's really shitty to somebody that I know, then I'm like, you know, I Speaker 1 (9:51) don't Speaker 2 (9:53) need to be friends with this person. Speaker 1 (9:55) Or if you meet somebody through someone else, this is like, you know, codes that I live by. If you meet someone through someone else and shortly after that, they get into a fight and have a problem, then you don't want to be, you could, you could get, you could cut that person off. You don't have history. It's not that important. How close, depends on, of course, how close you are with the other person and what they've done for you. Right. And Speaker 2 (10:22) if I don't really know somebody and Speaker 1 (10:24) they're like going Speaker 2 (10:24) after you publicly or something, I would be like, go fuck yourself. I'll kick your ass. Stop talking about my girl, Dolores. Speaker 1 (10:32) Right. Right. Right. Yeah. I've done that. I've done that. Even Speaker 2 (10:37) somebody I know, I'm like, I'll be like, no, you know what? Your deal with that person is your deal. Don't bring it to me. Speaker 1 (10:45) Right. Go Speaker 2 (10:46) pound. Exactly. Speaker 1 (10:47) Or. Or and if it's a close friend of mine and someone's talking about them, I've done this on camera. I've done that. Well, we've all done it on camera. Yeah. I'll say to them, you can continue talking, but you have to know if you're going to continue this conversation about my friend. I'm going to leave here and tell her everything you say. Yeah. So I'm letting you know that it is your choice if you want to keep talking. Speaker 2 (11:13) Right. Speaker 1 (11:14) Right. Speaker 2 (11:15) I've done that, too. Yeah. Yeah, me too. We move on to Whitney and Justin. They're at home. They're talking about her viral drug brunch. Whitney admits to numbing herself with alcohol. Now, do you believe this or do you think it's just blame it on the alcohol excuse? Speaker 1 (11:30) I think it's a little bit of both. She's not drinking now. No, no, she's not drinking. She seems to really want to rectify the damage she did when she was drinking. Listen, here's the thing. And this is how I'm looking at it. Regardless of why she did it, she's sorry. And she's trying to make up for it. They don't have to accept it right away. We'll get to that. Some do and some don't. Yeah. I want to see what you think of that. So Speaker 2 (12:00) here's the thing, guys, when you're going and you have to be on and you're a public person and you have to go on stage or you're going to do an interview and sometimes liquid courage is. She Speaker 1 (12:12) calls it liquid. Have you ever used that word before? I never heard that. Yeah, Speaker 2 (12:16) I have. And, you know, like even my advice to anybody, because I've done it, I've been guilty of it a million times is like going on, watch what happens and getting too liquored up. And then saying things you shouldn't say because you get in the back room, you're having fun, you're having cocktails. And you're not Speaker 1 (12:34) filming. And you're not filming. You're happy. And then Speaker 2 (12:37) before you know it, they hit you and you got to sit in a chair and then people egg you on. And then you're like, I hate that bitch. Yeah, she can go suck dick. Like there's so many things that you can say. And so like. I'm Speaker 1 (12:49) glad you Speaker 2 (12:49) don't hold Speaker 1 (12:50) back. I have advice that Speaker 2 (12:52) Camilla's on her way to New York today and she's doing Watch What Happens. She told me she's nervous and all this stuff. And I'm like, just be careful not to drink too much. Because when you get nervous, then that's when you drink. And then all of a sudden you get loose lips or drink a lot and who knows what will happen. See, I can Speaker 1 (13:08) never use that for an excuse. Speaker 2 (13:10) And you know what? You're in control. Here's the thing. Speaker 1 (13:15) I don't think anyone should use it for an excuse because because it's I feel like it's something you want to say. And you know what? If you say something you want to say, fuck it. You do all the time. It's self-induced. Speaker 2 (13:27) You do it to yourself. And then you're it's probably how you feel a lot of the times. Exactly. And it just comes out. Speaker
