Speaker 2 (0:00) Welcome to Two Sons and One All Abroad. How are you today, Mama? Speaker 1 (0:05) I'm blessed every day. Every day. Every day that I get up is a great day. Speaker 2 (0:10) And Grayson, how are you? Oh, I'm doing good. Because you're back in full swing, class is back up. Oh, Speaker 1 (0:18) I know. And Speaker 2 (0:19) the Speaker 3 (0:19) tests Speaker 2 (0:19) are Speaker 1 (0:20) happening. And football's going too, so shoot, it couldn't be better, could it? Speaker 3 (0:25) Oh, I know. They scared me last weekend. Speaker 1 (0:28) Oh, me too. And I bet on them. Oh, my gosh. But they Speaker 3 (0:32) came Speaker 1 (0:32) through. Yeah, Speaker 3 (0:33) they came back and ended up beating the brakes off of them in the second half. Speaker 1 (0:38) But it kept you going, didn't it? It kept me. I said, I ain't betting on them sorry things no Speaker 3 (0:44) more. Speaker 2 (0:45) I was sitting there watching it, and I was in a full sweat. Because you get so into it. And I'm like, what is wrong? What is going on? Speaker 3 (0:53) I know. Speaker 1 (0:54) If you got your money on it, you get into it, don't you? Speaker 3 (0:57) Exactly. I mean, if it affects your bank account, you're going to care about it a little bit more. Speaker 1 (1:02) That's exactly right. Because if not, then you'll just pile up on the sofa with a blanket and go to sleep and say to heck with them. Speaker 3 (1:09) Exactly. I might as well not even watch it. Yeah. Speaker 2 (1:12) So how's your week been? Oh, it's going. I got Speaker 3 (1:17) a class right after this, and I came from a class. Speaker 2 (1:20) Well, just remember, you're going to be very smart. Speaker 2 (1:27) Oh, I know. So you got a bright future in front of you. This Speaker 1 (1:33) is what they call juggling, hon, between classes, your work, and your fun time. Speaker 2 (1:40) He has fun all the time. That's the problem. I don't have. What do you mean? You have taken this whole service thing, the community, to a whole other level. That's not true. Speaker 3 (1:52) I service one person, not the whole community. Lies you tell. Well, you have to enjoy Speaker 2 (1:57) it. Speaker 3 (1:58) I can't help it. Something about the blonde hair gets me. Speaker 2 (2:01) Grayson, it's just female gets you. It doesn't matter the color of the hair. Speaker 3 (2:05) I think that bleach goes from their hair into mine and starts getting in my head. Speaker 2 (2:10) My God. Oh, mama. You know, it's a shame that you have grandchildren. It's just trashy. It's what they are. Speaker 1 (2:18) Well, why don't you say I just throw up all hands? It's a shame that Speaker 3 (2:22) we'd go out here and do these things. Speaker 2 (2:24) Yes, Mom, ain't it? Speaker 1 (2:26) I know. It's simple. But the thing about it, and the sad thing is that I won't be here when I get paid back. Speaker 2 (2:33) You don't know. You're on your peptides. You might be here for another hundred years. Yeah. Well. Because you're a good Speaker 1 (2:39) girl. I know. Well, I hope that I do, but I'm not going to be able to see all this now. I'm not going to live long enough for that. Well, some of it you might not want to see. Well, that's what I'm saying. Speaker 3 (2:50) Nanny's been saying she's dying since I was 10. Speaker 1 (2:54) Yeah, but Lord, I'm 82 now. I'm really over the time limit, really. So this is our first time actually Speaker 2 (3:02) doing the podcast with you being in Bama and us being here. Oh, I know. So, I mean, how does it feel like not being in the same room? Speaker 3 (3:14) I don't know. It's a little weird, but it's a lot easier. Speaker 1 (3:18) But you still get to see us. I know. And just think about what technology has done. Speaker 2 (3:25) Yes, Mama. I see it on your phone all the time with those adult websites. Speaker 1 (3:30) Well, I'm not worried about it. I don't have any of that trash. What are you looking at? Honey, I don't have any of that stuff. Now, he's talking trash as always. But, you know, I get to sit there and watch what I want to. We Speaker 2 (3:41) know with Speaker 3 (3:42) all that noise. You're really watching what you want to. Speaker 1 (3:46) Yeah, I'm doing what I want to every day. Speaker 3 (3:49) So Speaker 1 (3:50) you mind your own business on my mind. Speaker 2 (3:55) You know that your mama's mad at me because she says all the things that I said on the podcast last week I shouldn't have said. Speaker 3 (4:02) No, I think you should have said that and more. Speaker 2 (4:07) She said today when we was doing the podcast and she goes, and just so you know, you've been trending for three days and it's not in a positive way. Oh, Speaker 3 (4:17) I know. It doesn't matter if I'm on Instagram, TikTok, I'll scroll through and hear something with your voice. And I'm like, oh my God, I got to turn the phone off. I thought you were creeping up on me. Speaker 1 (4:26) Because you know what? He has no filter. And he just really, he gets loose on a lot of stuff. Speaker 2 (4:34) Loose. I get loose, John Grayson. Speaker 1 (4:37) Yeah. Me and you will sit back a little bit, won't we? No, I mean, you'll sit back when I Speaker 2 (4:43) will. Because Grayson just said that I was right in what I said. It was. I Speaker 1 (4:48) agree. I agree. But you know, a lot of times. sometimes things are just best not even talked about. Well, Speaker 2 (4:55) you know, your nanny and I went and grabbed some lunch before we started to record this podcast. And I'm sitting there at the table and I'm getting all these text messages from people back in South Carolina about because it's all over the Internet and, you know, other celebrities are posting it and what have you. And Mama said, you know, it's just shameful, Todd. It's just shameful. And you ought not say some of the things that you say. Well, Speaker 1 (5:22) Nanny, Speaker 2 (5:22) do you not Speaker 3 (5:23) think what they said is shameful? Speaker 1 (5:26) It's wrong, but two wrongs don't make a right, hon. Well, you know, I'm going to tell you what Dad always told Speaker 3 (5:31) me. Some conversations can be solved with words and others can be solved with a headbutt. There you go. And Speaker 2 (5:37) this was a straight on headbutt. Now, you know, your mother doesn't like because she's your mother said that this whole thing got started because this three haired heifer back there in South Carolina wanted to talk shit about my daughter. Right. So. So then that upset me. And your mom says, and then you go on two sons and me and you talk about this woman's child. And I said, well, then this woman should have loved her child more than she loved gossiping about mine. Because when she talked about mine and took her outside of the name that I gave her. then at that point, you didn't really love your daughter. Speaker 3 (6:22) Exactly. Because everything is Speaker 2 (6:25) on the table. Everything's on the table. I'm going for the low-hanging fruit, the fruit that's fell and hit the ground, and then I'm climbing the tree and shaking it. And you know what really pisses me off? Speaker 3 (6:35) It's people like that, people that don't look at their own life before they come at somebody else. Speaker 2 (6:40) And that's exactly because, folks, when you're listening to this, Grayson is... 20 years old, but Grayson really emotionally is way older. And that statement that you just said, mom, is exactly what he just said is exactly what we talked about at lunch today, is that people need to look at their own life before they start talking about someone else's. And no one has a perfect life. Everyone has shit going on. Everyone has problems. Everyone has days that didn't turn out the way you hoped they were going to turn out. And you should not be finding comfort in someone else's misery. Speaker 1 (7:20) No, and you know what? Everybody has something that their heart is hurting about. Speaker 1 (7:28) So best thing to do is keep your problems at home and work on them and work on what's going on in your bunch and see if you can get them straightened out because I ain't got time for my neighbors. I'm just worried about what's going on right here around me and what I'm doing. I Speaker 2 (7:46) don't have time for my neighbors either, but I can make time. Well, my issue is Speaker 3 (7:49) if you talk about me and you're not looking at your own life, you better hope I don't find anything when I look into it. Speaker 2 (7:58) That right there, you better hope that your house is so spotless because I'm going to dig up everything I can find. I'll Speaker 3 (8:06) pull Speaker 2 (8:06) that Speaker 3 (8:06) shit out of the house. I'll put it on the front lawn. Speaker 2 (8:09) Exactly. That part right there. Because if you're going to talk about me and my kids, I don't care what you say about me. I don't care. But you talk. What did I tell you at lunch? Speaker 1 (8:22) Don't talk about my kids. Now you can talk about me and what I do is I don't care. But I'm trying to do the best I can with mine. So just leave them alone. Speaker 2 (8:32) Don't talk about my kids. Don't talk about my wife. Don't talk about my mama. The rest of it. Say what you want to say, because what you say. If I don't answer you, then you didn't direct that at me because you didn't get my attention. Speaker 1 (8:46) But. Speaker 2 (8:47) My thing is, is that there is such a thing because you're in school right now. And and I tell you all the time when you call me about somebody doing something or whatever. And I always tell you, you don't know what they got going on. Speaker 2 (9:02) How many times have I told you that? All the time. You don't know what they've got going on. So try to be a good friend. Try to be kind and move on. And then when you tell me the third time that they're acting outside of how they're supposed to be acting, I'll tell you then, clearly they're not going to move on. They're going to keep this stupid shit around you. So now you've got to go in and let them know that they're no longer welcome. They ain't got a seat at your table. Speaker 3 (9:26) Because Speaker 2 (9:26) you don't have to entertain fuckery 24-7. And so for me, I'm not going to entertain that. And these are things that we know because we've dealt with it. But I can't have Chloe growing up thinking that we turned a blind eye when people were saying things that were hurtful about her. and that we didn't do nothing about it. Speaker 1 (9:50) Now, I'll hurt you if you talk about Cloco. Well, you Speaker 2 (9:53) ain't cussed none of them bitches out back there. Well, they didn't Speaker 1 (9:55) tell me. Now, listen, you ought to know that don't talk about my children and grandbabies. Now, I'll say what I want to about them, but you better not agree with me because I might hurt your feelings. Speaker 2 (10:07) That part right there. That part right there. I Speaker 1 (10:10) know that. Everybody has some stuff that they have to deal with, but I'm going to deal with my grandbabies and my two sons. And so don't be chiming in because you might get your feelings hurt. And you Speaker 2 (10:25) saw those messages that I was Speaker 1 (10:26) getting. Speaker 2 (10:26) It's not Speaker 3 (10:27) you might get your feelings hurt. You will get your feelings Speaker 2 (10:30) hurt. Speaker 3 (10:30) You Speaker 2 (10:30) will. Speaker 3 (10:30) It's a Speaker 2 (10:30) guarantee. Speaker 1 (10:31) Because, you know, I don't even allow my grandbabies to talk to me about each other. I said, they don't talk about you to me and you're not talking to me about them. Speaker 2 (10:41) So Speaker 1 (10:41) you need to shut up. I'll handle what I know. Speaker 2 (10:45) Grayson, getting off topic. Your mother started asking me these questions. And she said, and you had to answer it. You know, it was only one answer, not I'll think about it or whatever. So one of the answers was, so if one of the kids calls you and says, Dad, are you by yourself? Can I talk to you? You promise you're not going to tell anyone. Are you going to tell me? And I looked at her and smiled. I said, you already know the answer to that. And she says. So you're not going to tell me. I said, if it's my boys, I'm probably not going to tell you. She said, oh, okay. Okay. She said, all right. So if you got a text message from an old girlfriend, are you going to come to me and tell me about it? And I go, no. Speaker 2 (11:35) No. Well, Speaker 1 (11:36) it's not important anyway. Speaker 2 (11:38) No. And I said, it just depends on if I'm in a flirty mood. If I'm in a flirty mood, I might flirt back and forth. I said, but I'm not going to tell you about it. And she goes, what? Speaker 2 (11:48) Well, Speaker 1 (11:49) evidently, you didn't want them. You left them and moved on to somebody else. Speaker 2 (11:53) Right. But now, do you think that I should tell that mama? Speaker 1 (11:57) No, some things I told you a long time ago is best unsaid. Best left Speaker 2 (12:00) unsaid. Mm-hmm. So, mama, if daddy was alive and some man texts you something talking
