Speaker 1 (0:15) Welcome back to Two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay. And it's Courtney from L.A. And I know we'll be talking about Rehugget. I just have to say, this episode was one of the funniest episodes. I was cackling from beginning to end. I thought this episode was so freaking funny. Well, I really feel like Speaker 2 (0:35) Luanne was a star. Speaker 1 (0:36) What do you even say about her? What was she doing in that bathroom? She was having a good time. Speaker 2 (0:42) She had that go-go juice before they went. Speaker 1 (0:45) Yeah, that sounds right. Look, Lou in Miami is a different beast. You put Lou in in Florida, it is a different beast. Which brings me to the Golden Life trailer because we got that at the end of last week. And after watching this episode of Lou back in Florida, I said, oh, we are in for a fucking Speaker 2 (0:59) treat. So. The trailer overall, nothing really happens. I feel like when you watch a Bravo trailer, you're like, okay, that's going to be a storyline. This is going to be a big deal. You're able to pinpoint a few things. This trailer was Speaker 1 (1:16) basically Speaker 2 (1:16) shenanigans. I'm really curious how E will present each episode because it's not a Bravo show, but it's the Bravo girlies. And I'm excited because this episode of Lou was sincerely insane and like the most true version of herself. C'est la vie. I can just imagine her going up to tables. She's like the girl in the bathroom that you need to hype you up. The Speaker 1 (1:42) drunk girl at 1 a.m. Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (1:44) Uh Speaker 1 (1:45) -huh. She's for women empowerment. She writes it in her songs, Mary, okay? Let the diva out, ladies. But watching the trailer, you're so right. I don't feel like there was a storyline, but there's a level of, and I mean this in a complimentary way, a level of desperation to be back on TV and prove that they still got it, but also they all think they're the normal one Speaker 2 (2:07) of the group. Speaker 1 (2:08) They all come in like, I've grown, I'm a different person. And then you put them all together, you put them in the same house, you put them in these similar situations. It's like, you guys are exactly the same people, but just like times 10, maybe a little bit older, maybe a little bit tighter, but maybe a little bit funnier. I was giggling throughout that as well. Speaker 2 (2:27) Well, I also feel like the women of Bravo don't get as intoxicated anymore. Quite frankly, I miss that. And the reason why Roni shined is because they didn't care what you saw and they knew how to bring a good time. And maybe that's like wrong of me to want this, but I'm excited. Speaker 1 (2:48) You do love A Drunk Housewife. That's where you see the apex of these shows. What's not to like? The only one I do feel bad about is Sonia. I feel like... She needs this show. And I don't know that the other women need it as much as they want it. I think that they all crave the spotlight. But I think Sonia needs the paycheck. Watching her, I was like, oh, this is tough. And when I go back to that thing of I'm the normal one, because I'm not Sonia. We Speaker 2 (3:16) know Sonia needs the paycheck. I assume she still rents in Florida. She finally got for her brownstone. Something like two or three million. They ended up having to do it for auction. She has a really Speaker 1 (3:29) sad story at the end of the day. Speaker 2 (3:32) She really does. She was on the highest high, the top of the top. She was hanging out with John John and Madonna. Now she's just like in Florida having to chase money to survive. And I always wonder about Luanne's finances because she travels the world doing the cabaret. So it makes me... feel like, yeah, she does love this stage. But at the same time, I think she needs that paycheck as well. Speaker 1 (3:59) Oh, totally. But I feel like that for her is a constant. They want her face in Australia, Mary. Okay. She's got a lot of things going. And Louis is still hireable. Okay. Compared to like Sonia when they did Crappy Lake, they didn't do another season of that because Sonia became a liability. Speaker 2 (4:16) Wait, wait. Jeff Lewis has this theory that Sonia wasn't invited to BravoCon because of insurance purposes. He's been saying that for a very long time. Speaker 1 (4:27) Wait, but she was there. We interviewed her. Like the first or the second one. Oh, a previous one. But just think about the energy she brought when we were on that carpet with her. And she was looking at the names. She's like, I'm only going to talk to the people I know. Abby was standing right next Speaker 2 (4:42) to us. And she started interviewing Phaedra. Sonia. And Speaker 1 (4:47) then she was interviewing. interviewing Phaedra with our microphone and Abby's microphone. So like the microphones weren't even picking up the other part of the conversation. She popped in on Kiki Barth and Kiki was like, I don't know what's going on. You guys, this was 9 a.m. on Sunday. Speaker 2 (5:02) It was very chaotic. There's like good chaos and there's bad chaos. And that chaos, well, first of all, it was 9 a.m. And second of all, we couldn't use the footage. What she was doing was screwing up interviews. It was not fun. I Speaker 1 (5:19) understand the excitement. And I think it's just like, oh, my God, I'm back. And I think she also thinks she needs to lean into this kooky persona. But she goes overboard with it Speaker 2 (5:30) where it's Speaker 1 (5:30) like, just enjoy it. You are the straw that stirs the drink. We've loved Sonia. I think back to Scary Island and she was the voice of reason. I know. Things Speaker 2 (5:41) have changed. Speaker 1 (5:42) Now, am I looking forward to watching her? Yeah. Do I feel like there may be a bit of sadness over there? Yeah. Am I going to be watching the day it premieres? Of course. Are we going to be talking about it here? Definitely. Speaker 2 (5:57) So that will be Tuesday, October 20th. That is coming out. This week itself is Speaker 1 (6:02) the biggest week in television. There is Speaker 2 (6:04) so much going on this week. We Speaker 1 (6:07) have Rugget, Roni. SLC premiere, which is phenomenal. So good. And I will just warn you guys now. Remember, I am a Lisa Barlow apologist. It's disgusting, I know. But you have to go into the season knowing I'm a baby G apologist. I Speaker 2 (6:25) also, I don't even think there was anything to defend. You have to defend her during Rugged. Speaker 1 (6:30) Of course. Well, I will. I have no problem doing that. Speaker 2 (6:33) Then we have two nights of Dancing with the Stars. Traitors on Thursday night. I keep telling Michael, I'm like, we got a big Thursday. And then... We're Speaker 1 (6:45) okay for now. That's like, that's the big... That's Speaker 2 (6:47) it? Yeah. No, Speaker 1 (6:48) Orange County. Oh, yeah. Speaker 2 (6:52) Yeah. And Next Gen Reunion. Oh, Speaker 1 (6:55) my God. We have... much? Speaker 2 (6:57) So much. Okay. Sorry. Let's go over that schedule. Okay. So Sundays, Speaker 1 (7:02) rugged. Monday, maybe have slight break for us. I don't know if Below Deck is still airing, but that's our recovery day. We start the week off with recovery. Speaker 1 (7:13) Tuesday, Roni and Dancing with the Stars first night premiere. Wednesday, we have Dancing with the Stars second night premiere, Next Gen reunion in Salt Lake. Thursday, we have Orange County and Traders. Yep. Oh my God. And then Friday, we have to rest. Speaker 2 (7:32) On Friday, you can catch up on The Mormon Wives, which I did this weekend, and I binged all of... Is it Failure or Fatigue? That's the show name? Yeah. Well, you watched it, too. What's it called? Speaker 1 (7:46) Failure or Fatigue. Speaker 2 (7:48) Furious. Speaker 2 (7:52) I knew it was something that started with an F. Wait, what's it called again? Speaker 1 (7:56) Furious. Speaker 2 (7:57) How many episodes did you get through? Did Speaker 1 (8:00) you have failure fatigue as you were watching? Speaker 2 (8:02) No, I watched the whole thing. I watched six episodes on Saturday night and the last two last night. You Speaker 1 (8:08) finish it? I'm not there. I'm not there. So don't tell me anything. But Speaker 2 (8:11) it's a very bingeable show. I think that's the only way to do it. It grabs you. At first, I'm like, this is so dark. I don't even know if I like it. And I like dark. There's so many layers. There's so many characters. I also haven't watched a written drama in a long time. So I'm like, they can just write the next thing they want to do. It's wild. Like they can move the story so quickly. Speaker 1 (8:33) Because you're binging it? Yeah, that's true. Speaker 2 (8:38) No, but I also feel like they can write in one thing and it changes to the next scene. You know what I mean? You're like the twists. Speaker 1 (8:45) Okay. I'm not there yet. I'm only like four or five episodes in. I don't know. It's hard for me to actually binge that show because it is so dark. I have to do like one episode at a time. Started Speaker 2 (8:54) it at 7.30 on Saturday night and at 1 a.m. I wasn't even tired and I was like, I want to finish it. But I'm like, I can't stay up till 3 o'clock in the morning watching this. Like my baby's going to be up in three hours. I Speaker 1 (9:05) think that is such a good review of the show. If you can sit there from 7.30 to 1 and watch six episodes, that's a stamp of approval right there that it's a good show. Speaker 1 (9:16) It Speaker 2 (9:16) really kept my attention because the way each episode ends, you're like, well, I have to see how it's going to start the next episode. Speaker 1 (9:23) Cliffhanger. Yeah. You guys are looking for a drama. Mary's put her stamp of approval on it. At one point, I will finish it and you can tell me everything that you are thinking. Speaker 2 (9:33) So Speaker 1 (9:34) I thought this was an interesting thing because we've been saying what's going on with Wes. podcast. There wasn't an episode since the end of June. What's going on? What's going on? And they are rebranding. Sophie has dropped him. And Speaker 2 (9:47) I'm like, no love lost there for me. What Speaker 1 (9:49) is he doing for work? Speaker 2 (9:50) I feel like he could easily start his own podcast. Maybe him and Soho Brody. He's got some boys that he could easily do something with. I'm just so curious because I feel like Amanda has been putting a lot of selfie stories in her apartment. And I feel like That's a fine to something. You know what I mean? Like I need Speaker 1 (10:10) cash. Affiliate links. Speaker 2 (10:11) Not even cash. It's trying to get someone's attention, if you ask me. Oh, I would think the Speaker 1 (10:17) buyer's attention. I think she's needing some money. It's so funny because when I see the posts, I'm like, you know, I get your bag however you Speaker 2 (10:25) have to. But the Speaker 1 (10:26) fact that she's like, here, I'm wearing an oversized striped button up and bike shorts. Here's the link. And you almost Speaker 2 (10:32) feel bad. It's like, oof. Speaker 1 (10:35) Are we dwindling? That bank account? What's happening? Speaker 2 (10:38) Well, I'm not that concerned because she was able to give a check to Kyle for $117,000. No big deal. So I'm sure she has a good amount. To be fair, Speaker 1 (10:46) that was a year ago almost. That is true. Speaker 2 (10:50) That is true. They started filming in the city a Speaker 1 (10:52) year ago right now. Speaker 2 (10:53) I know. So what's going on? Are we getting to season two? It Speaker 1 (10:57) doesn't feel like it right now. Okay, well, I'm convinced that because she couldn't go on that one season that Lindsay Hubbard might be on The Traitors. And I believe that they are flying people out for The Traitors this week, which pushes back in the city if the star is not there. But then I'm thinking, okay, Yvonne just had her baby. We have Andre and Lexi who just had their baby. Obviously, like, Danielle has finally gotten to bring baby Aiden home. Like, do they get a break? Are we going to pick up filming? I love Christmastime in New York in these shows. Speaker 2 (11:27) I think we could easily start the season with the Friendsgiving and maybe kick off in November. I'm just curious what the ratings were. Are we even getting a season two? It feels very hush hush. We don't really have any news about that. Speaker 1 (11:41) Also, she could not be on it at all. And this is just me thinking that. But I don't know. It feels like she would figure out how to get herself on that show. Speaker 2 (11:49) She was asked. Dorinda told us. Speaker 1 (11:52) Right. So there has to be a way. Speaker 2 (11:55) Yeah, they're going to figure it out. Especially they're going to have the biggest people from Summer House.
