Speaker 1 (0:02) you Speaker 1 (0:15) Welcome back to Two Judgy Girls. This is Mary from the Bay. And it's Courtney from LA, the energy. I'm liking it. Speaker 2 (0:22) That was like very calm. It is a lot of pressure to start the podcast because you're trying to match my tone. Speaker 1 (0:29) You set the tone every episode. And people can feel the energy as soon as you say, welcome back. Speaker 2 (0:40) Welcome, bitches. Speaker 1 (0:43) Okay, I want to jump right into it because the trailer for Vanderpump Rules, Lisa, Las Vegas dropped. And it's about opening up Vanderpump Hotel, obviously, in Las Vegas. That's right in the title there. But is this too little too late? Are we past the Vanderpump of it all? Speaker 2 (1:03) Lisa is holding on for dear life. Very embarrassing, if you ask me. I was confused by this trailer because I was like, wait, is this about opening the hotel? And then we are going to see an entire thing about the hotel staff and meet new people. And then as I'm watching, I'm like, wait, there's Venus. Oh, there's Natalie. You know, I start seeing the revamped Speaker 1 (1:27) kid. Speaker 2 (1:27) Sheena, Lala. Wait, Speaker 1 (1:28) not Sheena, obviously. Sorry, guys. That was just a pipe dream. She's persona non grata to that Vanderpump. Speaker 2 (1:35) And then we did a little bit more research and we find out this is going to be a three-part show, which they're going to show the first two episodes night one and then the next day is the third one. So you guys are trying to get this out as Speaker 1 (1:49) quickly as Speaker 2 (1:49) possible. I can't say I'm interested to watch. Speaker 1 (1:53) Will I? Maybe. Speaker 2 (1:55) If there's Speaker 1 (1:56) nothing else on. Right. What are we doing October 20th? What day of the week is that? That's Tuesday. So we do have Roni. Speaker 2 (2:02) And Dancing with the Stars. Sorry, can't do it. Speaker 1 (2:04) Yeah, sorry. We're busy. Here's the thing. She has her IP on Bravo. She has her IP on Hulu. And I thought when she was going to be opening the hotel instead of a three-part series that we were going to get a new show because we don't even know what's going on with... the next season of Vanderpump Rules. Originally, I had heard that they were going to be filming Speaker 2 (2:27) in October for the next season. Speaker 1 (2:29) Unclear if that is happening or are people still interested, but I almost feel like we're past the heyday of Vanderpump Rules. I think back to the season four when Vale joined the cast and she had worked somewhere else and she'd said, oh yeah, we go through about 150 reservations a night. And Lisa said, well, we do way more than that here. And it was about 600. And then when the new season premiered, they're like, yeah, we have like about 100 reservations. Right. The drop-off has happened. Is there still room for Vanderpump? No, no. Speaker 2 (3:02) I actually think Sir will be closing very shortly. We already know that TomTom, they're Speaker 1 (3:07) trying to sell it. It's just kind of time to move forward. However, I do think it was a smart move for her to go to Vegas and have a hotel property. I think, though, that there should have been some deal with Bravo. Make it a Bravo hotel. Could you imagine the amount of bachelorettes that would come there, the amount of people that would go? Because whenever I've gone to Vegas, if I'm there and we're like, oh, let's try to see if we could get into Vanderpump Paris or whatever it was, it would be packed. Speaker 2 (3:35) You're on to something. Because you could have themed rooms like this is the below deck suite. This is the summer house suite. This is the Beverly Hills suite. Speaker 1 (3:45) That's a really good idea, Courtney. Speaker 2 (3:47) Okay. Clip it. Speaker 1 (3:51) BravoCon, please hold it at Vanderpump Hotel. Utilize this. We'll give you room blocks, the whole thing, because I don't think that the Vanderpump name holds as much weight as it once did. Your popularity comes and goes. Lisa has expired in a way. It's just like we've moved on to other things. I can't say I'll be watching this. You will, but I'm just wondering. where the longevity is of being able to use that name of Vanderpump. It is crazy because I think you're right. I think Sir is going to be closing. I think TomTom obviously is going to be done. I think she's putting all of her time and energy into Las Vegas. And maybe there's a world that that exists and it's just at the Vanderpump property, not headed by Lisa. Because remember when we met mini Sheena years ago and she slept with Max? I do believe that there was supposed to be some sort of spinoff at that point and something fell through. There could be a show based on that, but not having it Speaker 2 (4:47) be Speaker 1 (4:47) Vanderpump Rules. I Speaker 2 (4:48) also think there could have been a show based on Garcelle's son. Speaker 1 (4:53) And I believe we will see him because we see Garcelle in the preview. We're relying on a lot of name recognition for this trailer to keep interest up where I think, hey, you could have it at Lisa's property, but why don't you do a show where it's not like Lisa's telling us what to do? Let's just get some crazy kids and start something new. Speaker 2 (5:12) Right. I haven't been a fan of Lisa Vanderpump for probably a decade at this point. Oh my God, Speaker 1 (5:17) that's a really long time. I would Speaker 2 (5:20) say so. I can't stand her. Speaker 1 (5:21) Wow. I don't know that I knew you felt this tough. Those are strong words. I have Speaker 2 (5:27) not liked her in a really long time. I'm a Kyle apologist. Goodbye, Kyle. Speaker 1 (5:32) Right. Speaker 1 (5:35) So I would be curious if you guys are interested in watching this. I do think that we probably will watch it. I just hope we get a little Shane Davis. There is a space for some of these former Vanderpump Rules. I don't know if they're former, but the new, but potentially old. Is it canceled? I don't know. Speaker 2 (5:52) I didn't see Shane Davis in the preview. And I have to tell you something, Courtney. I actually unfollowed all of them the other day from TJG. Speaker 1 (6:02) What? Even Speaker 2 (6:03) Natalie? Yeah, they're just boring. Maybe not Natalie. What happens is when I see one of them, I unfollowed Chris, I think, and then the other cousin. The cousin brother? You don't unfollow Shane. I don't think I unfollowed Shane. It wasn't like I'm actively seeking them out. I just don't think there's anything there. It's taken up our feed. Speaker 1 (6:26) Now, will you refollow if there's a new season? I think I'd have to. Speaker 1 (6:32) Okay. Speaker 2 (6:33) I like to be strict about follows. I think it's important. Speaker 1 (6:36) Okay. Okay. So I followed every single person from Dancing with the Stars. Did you notice that? I noticed. I noticed. Speaker 2 (6:44) Because I'm the one that watches the stories. Speaker 1 (6:47) She does love a good story. I do. She loves a good Bethany story. Margarita lady, press play. I watch stories more than in feed. Fair. Fair. Well, did you see in feed, Jesse Solomon bought a house? In Los Speaker 2 (7:02) Angeles. I thought this was pretty crazy. The house looks nice. He even has a casita that he's making into a music studio. Speaker 1 (7:12) Sorry, Gina, you can't stay in it. Speaker 2 (7:14) The real question is, is Jane moving with Jesse? Speaker 1 (7:20) So Jesse seems to be bi-coastal. I think really he lives in Miami and then he would come up to New York. Obviously, they filmed the show, so he probably spends his summers in New York. he's got a little bit of money in general. But he had said in his video that he wanted to move to LA because he thinks it's better for his music career. The fact that he's buying a house, good for him. I'm like, where is it? I don't want the actual address. But I'm like, what city are we in? It feels a little hills. Speaker 2 (7:47) Hollywood Hills. Speaker 1 (7:49) A Speaker 2 (7:49) very nice house. And I think it makes sense for him as a move. I mean, to be honest, what, they have to be in New York for like 10 weeks. It's not that big of a deal. Speaker 1 (7:57) They're so used to also popping on planes for like brand trips or like press, whatever it is, that L.A. to New York. Now, if you're me, it will take you way longer than six hours to get to New York. But if you're a normal person who never has travel issues, it's just a six hour flight. Well, and like Speaker 2 (8:15) you said, he'll just spend the summer there. I mean, 10 weeks, you get a place in the city for 10 weeks, a free place to stay in the Hamptons and you get paid. Speaker 1 (8:22) I like to see our Bravo stars make smart investments. And speaking of investments, Craigie is going to be on Shark Tank. I Speaker 2 (8:32) like Shark Tank. Do you watch it? I used to. I used to watch Shark Tank with my mom and I enjoyed it. And I love the, they do like a segment where you see an update of someone that invested in a company and a couple years later, like where it's at. So I like to see those stories. Speaker 2 (8:52) Craig, being an investor, I'm like, oh, so this show's fake now? I have to assume he has an earpiece in and Jerry is behind the scenes telling Speaker 1 (8:59) him what to say. Speaker 2 (9:01) Jerry's in the photo that he posted of him being on Shark Tank. Speaker 1 (9:05) Okay, great. You know, Kyle originally, he went on Shark Tank when he had those bird dog shorts. So it really comes full circle. Are Kyle and Craig friends now? I think so. I think they're friendly. bury the hatchet, if you will. Okay. Okay. Just really, it always comes back to Bravo. Anyways, shall we take a break and come back with Salt Lake City? Sounds good. Speaker 2 (9:29) We're on episode number three. It was called Little Green Leprechaun, Big Dirty Secrets. We are in San Francisco. Loved it. Speaker 1 (9:39) Okay. So before we get to San Francisco, we've got to catch up with everyone. And we go with Kwai, Whitney, and Bronwyn, and they meet up at a bar named Sue. That's such a funny, silly name. I loved it. Speaker 2 (9:52) I loved it. And Speaker 1 (9:55) Bronwyn? is on a high this season, you guys. She's finally not the new girl. And so she thinks she's in. And I just keep realizing how much that alliance does not like her but needs her to be there. But she doesn't realize it. Speaker 2 (10:12) Bronwyn was very interesting this episode, I will say. So Speaker 1 (10:18) she's getting to know Kwai, who is Jan from The Office. You have confirmed. I texted you and I said, I did not see it, but now I cannot unsee it. So that was a great comparison, Mary. 100%. Great poll. Speaker 2 (10:32) Do you think Jan from The Office would go and ride a motorcycle? Speaker 1 (10:37) Jan or Laura Hardin? Jan. No, we're talking Jan. Especially if Hunter was driving it. Speaker 2 (10:44) I just love that Kwai's motorcycle was so much better than Tripp's. Because Tripp's motorcycle haunts me, you guys. I thought about it so much. Because I will see these e-bikes every single day and I'm like, I think that's Tripp's motorcycle. Was Tripp Speaker 1 (10:58) in San Francisco too with the cast? We also haven't mentioned him since episode one. I know we're only on three. But don't you find that a little weird? A little sus. Something's going on there. And it's also nothing because there's other storylines. But that's besides the point. Okay. So Bronwyn's like, well, let's bring out a whiteboard. And you guys, her fingers are starting to drive me nuts. And I know this is just a thing. Her Speaker 2 (11:21) fingers? Speaker 1 (11:22) Yes. And that is such a little thing. But the way she talks with her fingers and they're so long. Speaker 2 (11:27) And she can't do anything about it. Speaker 1 (11:30) And I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Speaker 2 (11:33) So you. I hate Bronwyn Speaker 1 (11:35) so much. You Speaker 2 (11:36) focus Speaker 1 (11:36) on her fingers. That's Speaker 2 (11:38) where Speaker 1 (11:38) we're at? I don't hate her. I just think she's living a lie. And I think she's feeling herself a little too much. And she has ten fingers that drive me crazy. Oh, my gosh. That's... Okay. Wow. I know. Guys, I know. Okay? I'm sorry. But the fingers... I feel like you're going to notice them in her confessionals now. I will look out for that. She bobs your head a lot with the bob and then the fingers. She's just like a hand talker. And so now it's like something. So anyway, she's showing us her
