Speaker 2 (0:15) Welcome back to Two Judgy Girls. This is Courtney from LA and we're back with part two with Farai Bennett. Shamia, when she got up to hug Cynthia and she's like awkwardly shimmying her because her dress is like so tight. And then when they showed the back of the dress, I was like, wait, this is really ugly because it was corseted up. And then she starts to hug every single other person on the couch because I feel like she realized I'm on an island now. Kay is going to flip next season. She's not with me. Pinky's going to be pregnant. So she's out of commission. And then I have Kelly. Maybe I have nobody. I need to start mending some fences. And I'm going to then awkwardly hug everybody on this couch minus Portia. Speaker 1 (0:54) Pinky got almost like. pissing me off at the reunion. I don't mind her. Actually, I didn't like her in the beginning and then I really liked her like in the season. And then at the reunion, I was like, why did she have all this weird smoke for Phaedra that's like really like weird? Yeah. Why did you have to point out like I had white investors too. I'm like, okay, you shouldn't be bragging about your bankruptcy. was right about that. That is so weird. And having a Black investor is a big deal. Obviously, Black people are very scrutinized when it comes to things like that. So it's like, yeah, no, you did fuck over those people. You shouldn't be bragging about Speaker 2 (1:24) it. Speaker 1 (1:24) But it's Speaker 2 (1:24) a tool, Farai. It's a tool. Yeah, except that people are losing money by investing in you. Outside of her business part of it and the bankruptcy, I think Pinky is great. I think she's really funny. I think when she's like, yeah, I don't know. I just said that because I was just like talking shit. I Speaker 1 (1:40) like that. Yeah. Or like, Speaker 2 (1:41) She said her favorite thing from the season was her fight with Angela. And I was like, she said you had incestuous, commingling teeth, Pinky. Like, she called you Papa Smurf. I think that's funny. But then when she gets into, like, the business mode, I'm like, no. Speaker 1 (1:53) No. No. And then she does make these offhanded comments like, I've never been friends with a bunch of women like this. I'm like, I don't really like that. I think she's growing out of that, too. So. Speaker 2 (2:02) Would you want her back next season? Speaker 1 (2:05) I think everyone should come back. Speaker 2 (2:06) I agree. That's why I'm like, how do we try to move forward? Not move forward, but we can't have these lines drawn of like Portia and Shamia where I feel like Shamia next season, if she comes back, just can't give Portia any energy, can't try to get to her through someone else. You have to leave Portia alone because that's just sinking your ship. Speaker 1 (2:27) Yeah, I agree. The one thing I do like, I was worrying about Shamia because I feel like her husband was really pressuring her to have this boy. But I like that she clarified at the reunion and choosing to believe her for now that she was putting the pressure on herself because it was kind of giving that her husband wanted this and he was going to leave her. And in my head, I was like, yeah, I was thinking about it kind of the whole time. I was like, would he really leave her just because he can't have a boy and she's giving him two kids? I think that's kind of. asinine. So now I'm glad she clarified that because I was like, okay, there's no way that that's that crazy. Like, that's weird. That Speaker 2 (2:56) made me really sad, by the way, because in the finale episode, we get that little video clip of her telling Gerald we're pregnant. And I'm like, oh my God, I'm so happy for Shamia. Like, that's so exciting. And then as the reunion started, I'm like, why haven't we acknowledged the fact like Pinky's pregnant, but like, so is Shamia. And so then we wait till part three to talk about it. And my heart broke for her. And I just felt sags. I wonder if they asked her, do you want us to include this in the finale or do you want us not mention it at all? Speaker 1 (3:23) Maybe. It Speaker 2 (3:24) made me sad because I think she does put a lot of pressure on herself. And I think all the pressure she had on herself was coming out outwardly towards the girls, like fighting with everyone, just like she was in like an upset state in a way to give Gerald what he wants, whether he really wanted it or not. That man's like in his 60s. I don't think he's leaving and going anywhere else. I feel like it'd be too expensive. I Speaker 1 (3:44) know. And it's just like not worth it. And no, after 60, we're not getting a divorce. I'm sorry. I have two kids already. Like, it's whatever. Speaker 2 (3:52) I Speaker 1 (3:52) know. Speaker 2 (3:52) And I really want to have fun with Shamia. And I feel like she was not having fun this season, but she was projecting fun. Like, no, everything's, like, really fun. I'm like, honestly, it's not, though. Speaker 1 (4:04) And I think she was also mad that Portia was having so much fun and she wasn't. Speaker 2 (4:07) Yeah, and having fun without her. They used to have all the fun together, and then she's seeing Frick and Frack back in the fray. And then, like, she's like, and I've got Kelly. who has to live in my house because she's poor and she's going after Phaedra too. The whole Kelly Phaedra thing, I'm like, Kelly, Phaedra did you a favor. Speaker 1 (4:25) Right. Why Speaker 2 (4:26) are you being so ungrateful? Speaker 1 (4:28) I'm so ungrateful. And it's like, she did like help you out. And that was weird. Why is everyone discrediting Phaedra's work? Speaker 2 (4:36) Literally, she was like, well, I gave her $10,000. Phaedra's like, yeah, and that's a heavy discount, babe. It should have been $60,000. She's like, well, my previous lawyer who I paid $250,000 to and then I fired, they did a lot of work. I'm like, that's not helping your case. Speaker 1 (4:51) And then she's like, and you guys just picked up all the work. And then Phaedra's like, no, we didn't. We started again. Also, Phaedra's done this before. But I don't think it's that hard to like. Speaker 2 (4:59) Like, why are you coming after Phaedra, who was literally trying to help you out woman to woman? Like, that's crazy to me. Speaker 1 (5:05) She Speaker 2 (5:05) succeeded. Speaker 1 (5:06) She helped her, no? Didn't Speaker 2 (5:07) she Speaker 1 (5:07) say she won the case? Speaker 2 (5:08) I think you're right. Yes. Why are you coming after her? That should be the one untouchable person for you to like not go Speaker 1 (5:15) after during this. Speaker 2 (5:16) And then what was the cease and desist with Shamia and Angela? I'm like, $100,000? What is the clause about suing other housewives? And where does this fall into that? Speaker 1 (5:25) I don't know. I think the cease and desist thing is so stupid and I hate that Housewives do it. It's like, shut up and just go to the reunion and then if you're upset about everything that's said at the reunion, then do the cease and desist and go from there. But like, no, that needs to be a clause. You can do a cease and desist, but do not do it before the reunion. You have to wait till after. Speaker 2 (5:40) Off-season only are cease and desist allowed. Speaker 1 (5:43) Because then you have to acknowledge the cease and desist and it opens it up and it's like, okay, then what did we spend all this money for? Speaker 2 (5:47) Also, though, like enough with the cheating storyline. Angela, you're not giving any proof either about Shamia of whatever she's done. Like, Portia, you mentioned it last week, even though it did intrigue me that I was like, wait, what did happen BET weekend? But stop insinuating cheating, because I actually think for especially the husbands who are not involved, like Gerald does not want to be on this show. He's doing it because Shamia really wants it. And then to have like cheating rumors, I'd be like, why the hell did I say that we should do this show? Speaker 1 (6:13) Right. Also, Kelly. is only mad at Portia because Portia gagged her so easily at the top of the season. So it was just like, that's the only. And also, Kelly has not proven to me that she was not fucking that man. Like, she's so guilty. Speaker 2 (6:29) I feel like when they were bleeping out that name last week that she was trying to push towards somebody else, I was like, wait, but who is that person? And why are we using that person? I was just trying to like ping pong it back. I'm like, I don't even know what's happening right now. Speaker 1 (6:41) And then you're showing Jarvis, but he shows up in the helm. At one point, I thought Jarvis was Shamia. I really did. Speaker 2 (6:46) We thought it was Gerald. We thought it was Gerald. Wait, I actually have to do a check-in because did you know that Kelly had made him an Instagram and it was who is Jarvis? And originally it had like 96 followers. Now it has 2,737, but the account, it's a private profile. So I don't think the following Speaker 1 (7:07) is there because I don't think anyone cares who Jarvis is. Speaker 2 (7:10) And also, that's not even his real name. So when we keep showing Jarvis and using the lower chyron of Jarvis, Jarvis is just the name for Tony Stark's robot, right? Speaker 1 (7:21) Right. So Speaker 2 (7:22) what's his real name? I Speaker 1 (7:23) hate these fake names. But you know what? I was laughing at her when she said the standard on Real Housewives of Atlanta is this. But the standard on Real Housewives of Atlanta is fake boyfriends, Rolls Royces that are bought by other... Speaker 2 (7:33) Walter Kenyus X? Speaker 1 (7:35) Yeah, like literally, no, dead ass. Do you remember when Kenya was dating that invisible African oil tycoon whose car she didn't even know that he drove and she claimed that he drove a Ferrari, but really Nini was like, I was in the Ferrari, so what does he drive? Speaker 2 (7:47) Kenya set the standard then. That's the fabric of Atlanta. Speaker 1 (7:52) Miscellaneous Africans and miscellaneous boyfriends who the world has not seen. What about the one-eyed African that Kenya was that Porsche claimed Kenya was also seeing? The African married man that... But Portia was seeing in season seven. There's so many random Atlanta side characters that are either real or fake or have not been seen. And it's like, who were these people? And who bought Kenya that Bentley? I must know. Speaker 2 (8:13) Maybe it was Slade Smiley when he did that for Gretchen with the Rolls Royce. He let Kenya borrow a Bentley for like a month, but then let her pay the lease on it. Speaker 1 (8:22) Could be. When Speaker 2 (8:23) Andy said to Kelly, so let's talk about that T-shirt. And Shamia said, you're a fashion icon. I said, Shamia, Speaker 1 (8:29) don't lie to her. Shut up. Speaker 2 (8:31) Don't lie to her. And Kelly was like, well, was it trending? It was trending. And Andy is like, but was it trending for good or bad? And she's like, I don't care. It was trending. Speaker 1 (8:42) Right. Speaker 2 (8:42) That's Speaker 1 (8:43) a, Speaker 2 (8:43) any publicity is good publicity for Kelly. And they're like, oh, well, you know, Zendaya wore it recently. Angela says at least she steamed the sleeves. I'm like, Angela is so fucking funny to me. Speaker 1 (8:53) She's so funny. She Speaker 2 (8:54) has the reason. I want her and Charles. I know you don't want more podcasts, but I would love Charles and Angela to have a Speaker 1 (8:59) podcast together. Speaker 2 (9:01) You Speaker 1 (9:01) know what? I don't hate that. Speaker 2 (9:03) Or like a talk show. I don't know, a YouTube something. I Speaker 1 (9:05) don't even think he like doesn't like her either. I just feel like he just was uncomfortable. Now he's like more comfortable like being on camera. I feel like before he was like, why is she doing this? Speaker 2 (9:13) And also he shows up all the time, to be fair. He's coming to all the events. He is going to her Fange photo shoots. He is at the Bailey Bowl showing up. He wants to be there to support his wife. They just have like a silly relationship. Speaker 1 (9:27) Yeah, which is like totally fine. Everyone's super different. Yeah, he was the only one that showed up at the reunion last year. So Speaker 2 (9:32) that's what I'm saying. And he's there this year, too. I know Jarvis is there as well. But Jarvis is looking for camera time. Speaker 1 (9:40) Yeah, for sure. Like because he wants to be so anonymous, whatever. I Speaker 2 (9:43) know. What is your take on K. Michelle? Speaker 1 (9:46) OK, so in the beginning, I liked her. And then like when she was crying and saying there's a plot and a plan, I was really over her. And then I just realized that like she came from Love & Hip Hop and I feel like Love & Hip Hop is obviously super staged. So I feel like she went into Real Houses of Atlanta being like, this is going to be super staged. And I think she realized that it's a different ballgame and it is real. And that like you do actually have to kind of get to know these people and like it's a different brand. And I feel like once she realized that, she's like, okay. I need to stop being crazy. I love that she came to the reunion with a newfound perspective, but I also love that she wasn't so like just kidding. Like she was like, this is why I thought this way, which I thought was refreshing. I'm glad she like acknowledged that because I can be like, okay, I understand why you were acting crazy. I'm glad she had an explanation for all her actions because either people do it one or two ways. They
