Speaker 2 (0:46) What if everything you learned in history class was only half the story? I'm Dr. Harini Bhatt, host of Hidden History. Every Monday, I go where history gets mysterious. Vanished civilizations, doomsday prophecies, paranormal phenomena, and events that science still can't fully explain. On Hidden History, I treat these moments like open case files. Not myths, not superstition, just incomplete explanations waiting for a closer look. Listen to and follow Hidden History, available now wherever you get your podcasts. Speaker 1 (1:20) After the death of two members of her family, Pamela begins experiencing things that seem a little too much to be coincidences. My name is Edwin, and here is Pamela's true scary story. I'm Speaker 4 (1:42) originally from South Texas, but I moved up to Wisconsin in Fort Atkinson when I was in fourth grade. I was at school and I hurt myself playing in the playground. Speaker 4 (1:59) My mom had picked me up. She took me to the emergency room. That day, she decided after the emergency room to stop at a grocery store. But on our way to the grocery store, we had to pass the cemetery. Speaker 4 (2:18) Up here, when it's the fall, it starts to get dark very early. So I'm in the back seat, and my mom's driving to the grocery store there. And as we were passing the cemetery, I saw this really bright light facing a tombstone. And I was like, oh, that's weird. When I was paying attention to the tombstone, I see this lady. Speaker 4 (2:48) It was between a grayish and whitish color. Like, it was just a weird color that I don't really see often. She had long hair, long, dark hair, and she was in this gown. She was dancing around this tombstone. I had locked eyes with her. Speaker 4 (3:16) The years had passed and I didn't think much of it. It was always in the back of my head, like, huh? Like, I wonder, did I really see what I saw? But I'm for sure that I saw this person. I saw this woman dancing around this tombstone. Speaker 4 (3:34) I knew that I was going to come on here and I really wanted to know what I saw. Just yesterday I drove there and I actually went up to that tombstone and I wanted to see who, if it was a female or a male that was laying there and it turned out that it was a family plot. and the big tombstone that I saw this woman dancing around, it had their last name and it had all of the deceased there. I got a little creeped out, but it turns out I went on Google and Speaker 3 (4:16) I ended up looking up the people that were laid to rest there, the two females, and it ended Speaker 4 (4:23) up turning out that the two women that were there, they were the first settlers that came to this town. I guess they were really wealthy that they ended up being the first founders of the library of this town. But I am still curious on what these two women look like. Just because I still have a very vivid image of this woman just stuck in my brain. Speaker 4 (5:00) I just, I've never been able to get her out of my head. So back Speaker 3 (5:10) in 2004, I lived in Wisconsin at the time. I ended up sneaking out of my house to not help with chores. So I took off. I ended up going to my friend's house and she was doing my eyebrows. And her mom had came into my friend's room and she had told me that my mom was looking for me and that she wanted to speak to me on the phone. So I was like, man, dude, my mom is about to eat me up alive. She's going to get so mad at me right now because I didn't want to help her with the chores. So I grabbed the phone and I couldn't understand what my mom was saying. So I just kind of shrugged it off. I just figured she wanted me home and whatnot. So me being 16, I'm taking my time home. I'm walking very slow to kind of not do what I needed to do. I saw cop cars and ambulance outside. I was getting very nervous. I was like, man, my mom called the cops on me because I was very rebellious at that time being 16 and not wanting to listen to anybody. So I walked through my door, the front door, and I see my brother. I see my brother sitting down and my mom's on the floor. She's having a panic attack. And all of a sudden, my brother, I'm trying to figure out what's going on. And my younger brother, he's like. He gets up, he walks to me and he's like, hey, he's I'm like, what's going on? And he's like, Isaac's gone. And I'm like, what do you mean he's gone? He's like, he's dead. And I'm like, what? In that moment, I felt like my world stopped. My brother had passed away in a car accident. He was 19 years old in South Texas. Speaker 3 (7:09) The next day we had to pack up and get ready to drive
