I'm going to see something standing behind me. Speaker 6 (1:28) A witness saw a towering figure vanish without a sound, and then years later, a child pointed to that same doorway and described the same thing. In our second story, there's an entire family that begins experiencing strange encounters after two deaths in the same home. My name is Edwin, and here are Gabrielle's and Anna's true scary stories. When Speaker 3 (1:57) I was a kid, I had cancer. And my friends think that because of how close I was to death, kind of like attached these entities to me. And I've always really been able to see them. I've been able to hear them. Back in 2021, I came home from college because of COVID. Speaker 3 (2:34) In my family, we have a pretty big number of people living in the house. So it's me, my mom, my dad, three brothers and a sister. So we were all home. My parents wanted me to have a private room to do my schoolwork where I wouldn't be bothered. So I utilized the dining room. Speaker 3 (2:59) So the way that the dining room is set up is we have a sliding door between the dining room and the kitchen. We also have two more, basically doorways without doors. One leads into the hallway and one leads into the living room. So for my privacy, my parents put sheets around those to cover them. One day I am at home in the dining room doing my schoolwork. I always like to put in my headphones and listen to music while I'm doing my schoolwork so I can block out all other noise, especially since I'm right next to the kitchen in the Speaker 4 (3:43) living Speaker 2 (3:43) room. Speaker 3 (3:45) I was home alone with my sister and one of my brothers. While I'm sitting in the dining room, I am facing these two entry points, or I guess the three entry points. And in the entryway that leads to the hallway, I notice that the sheet is seemingly like blowing in some sort of wind, but I can't really figure out what it is. There's no vent next to where it was. I didn't have a window open. It was... Speaker 3 (4:21) probably mid-March, so we wouldn't have had any windows open anyway. So I was pretty confused, but I decided to let it go and continue doing my schoolwork. I look at the sheet, and it blows forward, and I see a pair of feet behind it. And I'm thinking, okay, cool, my brother is pulling a prank on me. And then the sheet falls back down and I can see the silhouette of a person. Like I can see, I can see it very detailed, like the facial structure, the, like the nose. I can see the mouth, whatever, whatever. And so I'm like, okay, I don't know who that is, but that's definitely a person. Speaker 3 (5:11) So I take my headphones out and I call to my brother and I'm like, okay, that's very funny, but I'm doing my schoolwork. I need you to leave me alone. It's important that the only reason I thought it was my brother and not my sister is because it was a very, very tall silhouette. It pretty much reached the top of the entryway. So way too tall to be my sister. Speaker 3 (5:42) I'm sitting there and I'm like, okay, cool, he's going to go away. So I put my headphones back in and then I noticed that the sheet blows forward and then it falls back and the silhouette is gone. Pretty confused because, you know, if it was my brother running away, I would have seen his feet running, you know. Or like, you know, I would have seen him move past the sheet into the living room. Like, you know, when, how when somebody runs it, it kind of generates a little gust of wind. But it was very fast. I didn't see any movement. It was almost as if it just disappeared. I decided to go into the living room and confront my brother, I guess. When I walked in there, nobody was there. The TV was on. And then my sister came out of her bedroom. And she told me that she had been in her bedroom the whole time. And I was like, okay, so, I mean, you're already crossed off my list. Where's our brother? And she tells me that our brother is outside mowing the lawn. And I look outside and there he is. He's outside mowing the lawn. Speaker 3 (7:08) You know, I try to rationalize it. I'm like, okay, well, maybe he came in for a minute and he ran out the house or something. But there were many reasons that that probably wasn't the case. I mean, I don't see how he could have gotten outside so quickly, turned on the lawnmower and started mowing the lawn in the backyard. Speaker 3 (7:37) But I mean, I guess there's ways that he could do it. But the second reason was my house is pretty old. Like you can kind of like hear, like feel movement in the walls, I guess, in a way. So like if you open the front door and then you close it, you can feel the door close, which I didn't. And you can also feel footsteps like when somebody's like running in the house or, you know, just when someone's walking with a heavy step. And I didn't feel any footsteps either. So I was just pretty confused and I was like, okay, I'm going to let it go. And I went back and I sat down into the dining room and put my headphones in and started doing my work again. And then I... Speaker 3 (8:26) hear footsteps in, well, I feel footsteps in the kitchen, which I know is a weird sentence to say, but, you know, I felt them. And I was thinking, okay, so my sister is in the kitchen. I'm going to ask her to get me a glass of water or something. So I take my headphones out and I yell to my sister, hey, can you grab me a glass of water? And I didn't get a reply. So I said again, like, hey, did you hear me? And Speaker 3 (8:56) Then I start hearing knocking on the sliding door between the kitchen and the dining room. And I'm like, why is she knocking? Like, she knows she can just open the door. And I yelled to her and I'm like, can you please stop knocking on the door? Like, if you want something, just come in here. And then I start hearing banging on the door to the point where it's like physically shaking. Like you can see the door shaking. And at this point, I'm not
