It is a Sunday evening for us and all I can say is, wow, what a week. Speaker 3 (0:40) As always. Can I have some of that? Yeah. Give Speaker 6 (0:42) me a little bit of that chapstick because that'd be crusty. What a week. Speaker 3 (0:50) Yeah. Speaker 6 (0:52) We had addressed, not last week, well, we did address it. We addressed the follow-up last week, but the week prior, there was content that was taken out that I did not approve. And I've been communicating with my attorneys all week. In the meantime, if you guys hear Jackson in the background playing Fortnite, not my problem. It's a Sunday. I have him. We've been meal prepping, like doing all the things. I finally got to a point and I feel like God like has a way of addressing you without you knowing that you're being addressed because I was so upset all week and then just trying to navigate all of this stuff. People are going to say, oh, she's breadcrumbing. I'm specifically talking about the segment that is in regards to what happened on Coffee Convos initially that Kale addressed about finding emails and then me addressing an email thread that I had received. And it has taken an entire week to dissect every part of that to make sure that everything is properly and legally channeled. And that sucks. Speaker 3 (2:09) Of course it does. Because it Speaker 6 (2:10) should not have to be like that. Like for what? Speaker 3 (2:12) Yeah. I think it also just sucks. Like the people that it's with. I mean, of course it sucks. Speaker 6 (2:17) It's like, how are you going to be in my personal life in such an intricate way? Somebody who had your same position and you know what you know, and you know, every intricacy of my life, my whereabouts, you know, everything that goes on. And to know that somebody else was in that position and then they knew so many intricate parts, had files and evidence of things, put things together for crossover episodes, and then to jump ship and go to the other side is diabolical. Speaker 3 (2:55) It's insulting, actually. Speaker 6 (2:57) I can't be insulted by that because that's ignorance is what that is. That's true. That is ignorance. Um, but to know that, that that happened and then to know that we essentially were called liars on the internet for saying what was said on coffee convos podcast only to receive by accident an email the following week that I was not supposed to be copied on. It was a misstep. So I want to clear that up that the way that the email came to me was because My email address is that email has since changed, but that email is forwarded to another email. Any person that had that email address that was corresponding with who was working with me at that time, if they typed her name in the search bar, that would be what would pull up. Speaker 3 (3:52) Yeah, because it's what they were used to using. Speaker 6 (3:54) That's how I accidentally received the email. It's not a lie. It is an entire thread. And it goes through all the way to the beginning of April. You're telling me that you were allowing somebody to negotiate contracts for you and it just started in April when they gave the resignation to us in January? But they're negotiating in April? Speaker 3 (4:21) The math doesn't math. It had to have been going on longer than that. Speaker 6 (4:24) There's so much behind the scenes stuff. And people can say breadcrumbing. Like there are genuinely like a lot of things that I cannot say because I have to number one, stay true to myself. But number two, stay loyal to those that are around me that have other things that are going on that I'm personally not involved in. And like that's a hard position to be in. Speaker 3 (4:45) There's also a sense of self-protection. I mean, I don't know how many people who are listening to this have gone through something legal. However, when there is a legality and... things moving on the back end with legal, there are certain things that cannot be discussed. Speaker 6 (5:00) And I think that goes for a lot of things that I'm going through, right? Like, obviously, I got arrested. That's a legality. Like, I cannot come on this podcast and say X, Y, and Z. Like, that is working through a legal process, and I'm going to honor that legal process. Speaker 5 (5:18) David Speaker 6 (5:18) being indicted. I just saw right before I got on this episode. just saw some clickbait, whatever. And it was like a split screen of a photo of me and a photo of his mugshot. And it's like, oh, the deep, dark details of whatever. Like there are no deep, dark details. They're all out there, right? Like number one, I'm embarrassed. Number two, like I said last week, I'm going to lead with a sense of love and compassion that I would not want anybody to be in that position. However, That is the position. Speaker 3 (5:54) And Speaker 6 (5:54) I cannot change that. Speaker 3 (5:56) No, you cannot. And Speaker 6 (5:57) certain people have sent me messages. And obviously, like, Madison manages my personal Instagram. So I've received certain messages. And it's like, oh, well, she stopped posting because of X, Y, and Z. Speaker 5 (6:12) No, she stopped posting because there is a sense of guilt. Speaker 6 (6:15) Like, if you have done nothing wrong, you're not just going to... stop posting your beef tip recipes. Speaker 3 (6:22) Also, there have been no negative messages coming from what I've seen you or Kale. Speaker 6 (6:31) At all. Speaker 3 (6:31) To Kristen. I mean, there's been no negativity. There's been expressions and feelings of being hurt and, you know, why us? That type of stuff, but nothing where you guys have been coming out full blast. You know what I mean? No name calling. None of that. So it makes no sense to me why one would immediately turn around and basically say, fuck you. Speaker 6 (6:55) I mean, it's actually insane. And here's the part that I struggle with. And I wanted to have the conversation with Kiel because it involves both of us. But I understand that we can be going, two people can be going through the same thing and handle something very differently, right? And that doesn't make how she's handling it. wrong or right or how I'm handling it wrong or right. I am more of the mindset of do whatever you think that you can do to me because what I have in the arsenal will put you under somewhere. Speaker 3 (7:32) I Speaker 6 (7:33) don't have fear at all. For me to, and I'm going to read from the text messages, January 22nd, mind you, she resigned January 19th. Hey, sorry, missed the call. I'm at the jump park preparing all day for the weather coming. My phone is on 3%. Would be happy to speak with you later or tomorrow. January 26th, no response to that. Hey, Rebecca let me know to text you for the codes that I need. Please let me know when available to receive. Roughly six hours later, hey, I'll have my phone for the next 20 minutes if you want to send over whatever is needed. I said on the way home now, I'll send for code. Is there any way to get your number off of, and I'm not going to say what account. I can send the code from that. Speaker 3 (8:15) So no. Speaker 6 (8:16) Nothing. Then I said, this is just like me sending screenshots to get recovery. January 28th. I say, hey, I'm really struggling. I just want to know why for everything. This greatly hurts my heart. I need to know the reasoning from everything that I have found. February 2nd. Hi, I received another bill from Indeed. I need my payment information off that account. There is no record of that account on my document or passwords or logins. Nothing. February 8th, hey Kristen, I'm looking for the jewelry that you had Corey send via FedEx. Please let me know where that property is located at your earliest convenience. Not until I filed a police report for jewelry assets did I receive FedEx next day, those assets. Like why did I have to go through that if the resignation letter that you sent us was for health reasons? but you can support somebody else in the same capacity of how you are working for us, you're full of shit. You're actually full of shit. And I Speaker 5 (9:22) want it to be clear. I'm just trying to be honest about everything. Speaker 6 (9:26) Outside of that, yeah, like lots of attorney interaction this week. What else did I do this week? Got back on my... mental game, I guess. Yeah, Speaker 3 (9:38) you definitely set that up. I feel like it flew by. It Speaker 6 (9:41) did. Speaker 3 (9:42) We meal prepped today. I mean, you cleaned. Back in church, organized. Speaker 6 (9:48) Got Speaker 3 (9:48) some stuff to the school for Jackson. Speaker 6 (9:51) I mean, it's just been... Speaker 3 (9:52) It's Speaker 6 (9:53) kind Speaker 3 (9:53) of been like an R &R week for you, actually. I feel like you've laid pretty low all week. Speaker 6 (9:57) I've laid low, but I do think the medication is helping me be able to do that. Like I will go. I feel like I've been in less interaction with you this week than I have since you started working with me. Speaker 3 (10:10) Yeah. Well, to be fair, I mean, we recorded on Tuesday and then so, yeah, I mean, we definitely didn't see each other as much as we normally do. We talked every day, of course, but we didn't go and have dinners and kiki like that. Speaker 6 (10:24) I've been in bed by like 9.30. Me Speaker 3 (10:26) too. It's actually been really nice. Speaker 6 (10:27) And I've been watching Ransom Canyon. Have you watched it? Speaker 3 (10:31) Oh Speaker 6 (10:31) my God. So Ransom Canyon, I just love it because it reminds me of like multiple relationships that I've been in and I'm like, okay, I see the gaps. Right. Like I see like that makes sense like where that failed. It is one of the best shows ever and I actually was waiting to watch so Ransom Canyon came out with a season two and I was waiting at one point on somebody to catch up on season one so that I could watch season two with that person. I decided to start watching season two this weekend because obviously I'm not going to watch Speaker 3 (11:09) season Speaker 6 (11:10) two with said person. So that's what I did. Like literally all weekend on Friday, we came home, we had a spaghetti dinner. We hung out on the porch. Jackson stayed up until 6 a.m., which I was unaware of. We had a whole parenting conversation about why we don't stay up until 6 a.m. On Saturday, we went to go and do the arcade. A local place has this new claw machine section, which he loves claw machines. I hate claw machines. I love them. Why? Speaker 3 (11:44) I don't know. I feel like they just like take me back to my childhood and they were always so much fun. But you don't win. I know my parents used to always bitch at me about how Speaker 6 (11:52) much money they cost. Speaker 3 (11:53) Yeah. Speaker 6 (11:53) Like why can't we just go to the dollar store at that point? Speaker 3 (11:56) Because it's something about the thrill of when you actually get something. Speaker 6 (12:00) I knew you were going to say that Speaker 3 (12:00) because it's Speaker 6 (12:00) exactly what Jackson said. Speaker 3 (12:01) Well, maybe he's right. But Speaker 6 (12:03) it's not. It is a waste of time and it is a waste of money. Like those machines are rigged for you to lose nine out of 10 times. Have Speaker 3 (12:13) you seen those videos of like the machines where like they have money and stuff stacked on them? Yeah. Speaker 6 (12:17) And Speaker 3 (12:18) like more money, it like pushes. I want to do one of those. Me and Jackson are going to have a date date and we're going to find one of those. Okay. Speaker 6 (12:23) Well, I'm not going because I will crash out. That's fine. Because I don't, I don't like stuff like that. I think it's a complete waste of money. I think of all the things that we could be spending money on. It's like, okay, well. You could have taken that $60 that I just spent on that card and we could have fed a family or we could have gone to Taco Bell and you would have still had $55 left. You know what I mean? Like, I just don't like it. So, but he loves claw machines. So we went and did that and then we bowled. And then today we woke up, went to church, went to lunch, came home, we meal prepped and hung out in the kitchen. had a call about insurance, which by the way, if you think you're covered, you're probably not. Speaker 6 (13:11) learned a lot about insurance in the past two weeks. Actually, insurance is crazy. It Speaker 3 (13:17) is. It's a huge umbrella. You know what I mean? There's so much that goes on under insurance. It's actually an incredible trait to know. And I worked in that industry for so long that now it's just like second nature to me. So I basically am my own broker as I go in and do all of this. Speaker 6 (13:37) But me, my eyes are like bulging out of my head. I'm like, wait, what? I've Speaker 3 (13:42) always said instead of doing like a home ec class in like high school, they should really offer like a finance and like everyday life class. Mom said they used to back in the day. She said you could either choose to do like a home ec class or like a finance class in high school. But Speaker 6 (13:57) they really don't do home ec anymore either in the way that they did home ec when we were in school. Because we used to like, I mean, I went to middle school. I was born in 89, so I was in middle school sometime like mid-90s, I guess. Early 2000s. Speaker 3 (14:13) Probably early 2000s. What year did you graduate? Speaker 6 (14:16) 2008, so I guess. Speaker 3 (14:18) So early 2000s. Speaker 6 (14:19) Yeah, early 2000s. We had home ec, but it was like... We had home assignments where like they would show us how to like sort stuff in the classroom for laundry. And then we would have to go home and our parents would have to sign off that like we did the laundry. Speaker 5 (14:35) Or Speaker 6 (14:36) we would do like recipes in the class and then we would have to go home and do one. And then our parents would have to sign off on it. Like that kind of stuff. When I tell you Jackson and his like home ec class, they were learning how to make cake pops. And I'm like. I get they're popular at Starbucks, but like that's really not what we need to. Speaker 3 (14:56) They're really not that good. Speaker 6 (14:57) But that's really not what we need to be teaching our kids, like how to make cake pops. Like Speaker 1 (15:01) what Speaker 6 (15:02) about the laundry? Like, yes, we need to learn how to teach them to do that at home for sure. But if they're doing one of those activities with their friends in a school class, they might have more interest when they come home to do it. You know what I mean? Like it's just not the same. School's not the same. Praise Speaker 3 (15:16) God for Khalil. I hate laundry. Speaker 6 (15:18) Oh, I hate it, but I also love it. And like anybody sleeping on laundry sauce and this is not an ad, but like I love laundry sauce so much that it makes me want to do laundry. Speaker 6 (15:53) It's so good. And, like, you don't even have to light a candle in your house. No. It just smells up the whole house. It's so good. So that's pretty much been this week other than the crash out that I had on Will on, what was that night? I guess. Wednesday or Thursday night. Speaker 3 (16:11) Not the one that just happened like 30 minutes ago. Speaker 6 (16:13) Oh no, that was a different crash out. Speaker 5 (16:15) All Speaker 6 (16:16) right, Speaker 5 (16:17) y'all. And then I go in and ask Jackson, I'm like, this was actually hilarious. So I take all of Jackson. He had a science quiz on Friday and it was his first quiz of the school year. I take all of his science papers out and I'm going through all of them and I'm looking at... what the quiz is on. So I'm taking the papers out that is relevant to said quiz. I go into his room and I'm like, hey, you've showered, you need to sit down on your bed. We're going to go through this stuff. Immediately on the first page, I said, what does this acronym stand for? And it was TEAS. And it's like topic, I can't remember what it all stood for, but the acronym was TEAS. And he goes, that's for ELA. And I said, what? Speaker 3 (18:37) What's ELA? Speaker 6 (18:38) English Language Arts. Speaker 3 (18:41) I Speaker 6 (18:41) said, no, it's not. I said, the fact that you think this is for ELA tells me we're in big trouble. Uh Speaker 3 (18:46) -oh. Speaker 6 (18:47) Like, we're in big trouble. He goes, no, we were using that in ELA. And I said, no, you weren't because you were doing no experiments in ELA. Speaker 3 (18:56) No. Speaker 6 (18:57) And. Speaker 3 (18:58) Wouldn't that be something? Speaker 6 (19:00) Well, yes. So I said, that's interesting because your dad told me that you've been studying for your science quiz all week. And he was like, I never studied for that. Speaker 6 (19:12) I said, I'm calling your dad. So I called him and I said, this is what we're not doing this year. And he was like, what is going on? And I said, you said that you were studying for science all year. He said, well, I told him to. Speaker 3 (19:25) I mean, we're two weeks in. Speaker 6 (19:26) I told him to? And I mean, I just want to get like other parents perspectives because I do know that like some kids genuinely like you could tell your kid, hey, go and get your science stuff out and study for your quiz. And you've got 30 minutes on the clock. You're studying 30 minutes today and they will do it. And then you've got some kids that are not self starters that will pussyfoot around the entire thing. and be like, oh yeah, I know what I'm doing. And then it gets to the point of the day before the quiz or the test. And they're like, I don't even know what that means. Speaker 3 (20:04) I was a crammer. I was not the student who was like, go study. No, I'd have been gone and studied Facebook or maybe MySpace at the time. Right. But. Speaker 6 (20:15) But like, I'm so annoyed because we've set up all of these parameters where it's like, okay, Monday through Friday, you don't have your phone. Right. So on the weekend, you only have your phone, but for the weekdays, it's for you to focus on your school, your friendships and your family. Yeah. And I, I'm not saying that that needs to be for everybody, but I think it's healthy for us. It's not allowing him to sit in brain rot. Right. And what you do on the weekend is your weekend time. Like we're not going to Speaker 3 (20:45) patronize you. Yeah. Speaker 6 (20:47) Like at all. But on the weekdays, like those are the three things that you need to focus on. If we're focusing on school, friendship, and family, and we don't have a phone, please tell me why I'm being lied to about how we studied for science and we never opened the notebook. Whoops. Whoopsie. So I said, this is what I'm not doing this year. I was running through this place. I was like, I've got laundry to do. I've got to pack his lunch. I've got to write down all of his assignments and his planner. And you don't even know what's going on. And he goes, just send me the notebook. Speaker 3 (21:29) No. It Speaker 6 (21:30) makes me not want to be divorced at this point. I'm like, we might as well, at this point, if this is how it's going to be, we might as well be in the same house because I am doing the exact same thing as a divorced person as I was when we were married. And I will stand on that. Speaker 3 (21:49) Stand on that hill, he'll die on that one. I will Speaker 6 (21:51) die on that hill. Yeah. Because
