Speaker 4 (0:32) We are back with The Exit Press. We are saddened by our loss from yesterday and very excited and looking forward to talking to Anna. Yeah, I'm interested to see what she has to say. So here she is. Anna, how are you? Speaker 2 (0:51) Oh, you know, devastated, confused. What the heck was that? Why did I do those things? Yes. Speaker 4 (1:01) I want to ask you a question based pretty much along those lines. Speaker 2 (1:05) Yeah. Speaker 4 (1:06) They could have voted Rob out. They could have voted Eric out. They chose you. Did you have some self-reflection after that? Like what? Learn something? Like, I don't know. But there's some wackadoos out there. Speaker 2 (1:23) myself included, let's be so for real. But, oh, oh, listen, I genuinely was so confused because I saw Rob's crash out after the reward challenge. And I was like, Speaker 4 (1:38) is Speaker 2 (1:39) this for real right now? Are you seriously having this moment after? And then he came at the immunity challenge that we won previously. And he was like, you were too slow at the puzzle, Anna. And I was like, whoa, I wanna Speaker 4 (1:50) die. Speaker 2 (1:52) Yeah. He Speaker 4 (1:53) goes back a few days. He's like, and I'm mad at the puzzle people. Speaker 2 (1:55) Oh, we were all sitting in the water. And Linnea, I'll never forget. Linnea goes, did that just happen? Did he seriously just get pissed off about you winning our challenge? And I was like, what's happening? But even though all these options were out there, I think what just royally messed me up was Alexis was gunning for me and she was coming for me hard. Like if you go back and watch it, she was the one who dropped Sharonda's name. Not me. Like she was the one that was like, Sharonda's dangerous. What do we do? And I was like, oh, this girl wants to play. And what they didn't show was this was our fourth or fifth conversation of her coming to me and having that conversation. So I was like, okay, I think she trusts me enough that I can play with her. So when I was like, okay, yes, she's smart. I think she's a threat. She ran with that. after the whole popcorn situation, which again was me trying to cover up for Carter. Because if you watch that, Carter was like, Alexis has got to go. And I was like, dude, Alexis walks in. It's awkward. I don't know what to do. So we weren't talking about coconut popcorn with Kristen. So I just brought popcorn. And my two buddies next to me were just like. Speaker 4 (3:12) Genius. Speaker 2 (3:12) I wanted to die. It was brutal. Okay. It was brutal. Speaker 4 (3:16) So Alexis never planned to work with you? Like, because we see that conversation happen and I was like, oh, are they coming together? And then immediately you guys both kind of like went different directions. Speaker 2 (3:28) Well, this is what I'm, this is what I was trying to put the pieces of together when I was in Ponderosa. Because. I was like, she had approached me so many times. She had wanted to make it work. But to me, it just feels like she never trusted me out there. She wanted, maybe she felt like she was at the bottom and was waiting for somebody to play with. She threw out Sharonda's name and was like, oh, Anna's biting. Let me now go against her. And that really hurt. And also what they didn't show was. Christian had gotten word that Sharonda and I had beef. And so he came to me and said, someone's talking about you and Sharonda. And I went, well, there's only one person I talked about Sharonda with and that's Alexis. So I pulled Alexis aside because I genuinely didn't want to work with her. And I was like, girl, I know that you are talking about me. And I straight up said that to her. And she looked me dead in the face, Tyson, Riley, Ashley, looked me dead in the face. And she was like. I am. I talked about you and I said all those things about you. And I was like, girl, I am here coming to you right now, telling you that I could go against you right now, but I want to work with you. So can we work together? And she was like, yes, we can. And we pinky swore on it. And I went around to everybody trying to make amends with people, trying to rebuild that trust, but it was too late. Sharonda and Lynette had their target on me and that was it. Speaker 4 (5:02) Yeah. It's hard at that point. Once the ball gets going and people, then the more work you do, the more people mistrust. It's a Speaker 2 (5:09) snowball Speaker 4 (5:10) effect. I Speaker 2 (5:12) was screwed. Speaker 4 (5:14) Yeah. Riley, what do you have for Anna? Cause I, I wanted to ask you about that specifically because getting voted out before Eric and Rob, I'm so sorry for your loss. Like that's gotta be absolutely devastating. as a person. Why Speaker 2 (5:28) do you Speaker 4 (5:28) think my Speaker 2 (5:28) expression was like that on the chair? Speaker 2 (5:32) said, let's think about it. I was literally like, is this for real right now? They just did improv out there and everyone had to. Oh, the improv. Speaker 4 (5:40) You're a true entertainer. So you are a voice actor. You have been in the industry. How do you not like try to vote both of them out after the improv? Like, is that, could you? Speaker 2 (5:51) The moment Eric's name was out there, I'm like, this is delicious. I'm so, I am so for this. The man wants to continue doing improv with Rhode Island Rob. What the heck? Why was brown the word? I don't know. Speaker 4 (6:07) Cow and brown. Brown. Speaker 2 (6:10) I was sitting there enjoying every second of it because I was like, oh, I'm safe. I'm safe. And everyone wanted Eric gone, you know? So I really thought I had a chance. Yeah. Speaker 4 (6:21) Yeah. Well, we're sorry for you. Riley, what do you have? Speaker 2 (6:25) But I did play like a moron though, a little bit. Yeah. I mean, it's Speaker 4 (6:29) hard though, because it's hard to pump the brakes once you start like going and then you're like, oh, I got to pump the brakes. And then like it's to pump the brakes also takes effort. So then you're like. Hey guys, just so you know, I overplayed Speaker 2 (6:41) a Speaker 4 (6:41) little bit, but now we're slowing down. Like you can't. Well, Speaker 2 (6:44) this is Speaker 4 (6:44) what Speaker 2 (6:44) I was contemplating. I was like, do I go around and say, hey, I'm playing Duarte and I'm going to back up. You can trust me now. Like, what do I do at that point? Speaker 4 (6:52) Yeah, it's hard. I mean, Speaker 2 (6:54) I'm Speaker 4 (6:55) fortunate to have played four times and I definitely went out hard a couple of times and you hit the beach and you're just like. I'm out here. I'm going to make every moment count. I want to be in control of my destiny from day one. Like it's too hard. Like that's what makes the show entertaining is that all these people understand this is their one shot. And the way people navigate that is always crazy. Speaker 2 (7:21) And mine was messy, which is very, very, you know. That's how I live my life anyway. So I'm like, okay, this is very true to reality. Let's be so for real. Speaker 3 (7:33) Yeah, I do. You're on Survivor. Speaker 2 (7:35) Yeah. Yeah. But it was fun. It was really fun. The decoy vote was dumb, though. That was crazy. Speaker 3 (7:41) When you were at Tribal Council, how long was Rob in that voting booth? Was it like 10 minutes of waiting? Speaker 2 (7:47) Listen, he... First of all, I want to say, Rob and Carter, the duration of the five days that I was out there, they probably winked at me 70,000 times. And I was like, everyone knows we're an alliance now because you two will not stop winking at me. I just want to put that out there because he goes into the booth and I'm waiting and I'm like, okay, we all know Eric is a four-letter word. right? Like, what are we doing? And he's, he's in there. We Speaker 3 (8:19) just don't know which letters, but yes, we Speaker 2 (8:21) don't know which letters. Speaker 3 (8:22) Yeah. Speaker 2 (8:23) Look, when, when Carter said a, when he kept saying a, I, my first expression was this, but then I went, you know what? Phonetically, I guess it makes sense. And I, I'll support Carter through and through, through anything. So I was like, you know what? Yes. Eric with an a let's go. But yeah, no, Rob was in there. for so long. And I remember
