Speaker 1 (0:00) Mic check 1, 2 Mic check 1, 2 Welcome to the long drive playlist again with your host Jay Roach I'm driving north again Same same I'm just tired of consuming content I want to make my own content Speaker 1 (0:25) There's not much happening in life. Actually, there's a lot but I won't bore you with such details. There's a lot happening. It's more stable now than the past few months. Speaker 1 (0:45) work and personal. There were a lot of big decisions that happened over the past few months. So, that's it. I'm just trying to make this for my future self. When I'm old enough, I'll be okay. These are the thoughts I had back then. That's why technology is good. As long as the EMP is... Spotify, and then all our records will be gone. You'll also think that at a certain point, like with everything we produce, content, video, audio, TV, and so on, that at a certain point, Speaker 1 (1:28) we need to think where all that data is going to go. Now, there are AI data centers, storage, so it's like, as many people are doing podcasts, as many are making videos, as many are making content, aren't we thinking where are we going to go with what we're doing? Internet is not free. Who said that internet is free? That's stupid. We pay for this using our data. It's really like that. Google is getting our info. Spotify, Facebook especially. Instagram. All of this has data. All platforms know what they're selling to us. This guy is fond of... content about babies, then they will give you baby equipment. Or this guy here, he likes pet stuff, then he will advertise it to you. He's a pet stuff. All of this, all the things that all platforms are doing, is to make it easy for us to sell and think. Speaker 1 (2:44) So tayo mismo yung produkto. Ito, itong podcast nito ay produkto. Sino ba gusto ng libre sounds? Di ba hindi? Mga musigero, ilang taon nag-aaral ng instrumento yan, ilang taon na gumagawa ng kanta, is you will build your skill para ma-hit yung hit song nila, tapos papakinggan mo lang na libre. Malamang hindi, siyempre. Binabayaran sila, pero kapirang gut lang. Speaker 1 (3:12) Sometimes you have to think about it. I drive for 4 hours in Baguio. These are my thoughts in life. How many? How many thoughts do I have? What else happened recently? My car smells bad. I can't understand that. It's like someone left something to eat and it smells bad. I need to detail this. Not in the aircon, I thought it was in the aircon. It's the same carpet I think. Well, that's personal stuff. What else is happening recently? This whole August, it's raining again. It's like from day one, it's raining. What was planned in July? August is so ugly. Speaker 1 (4:06) I think some people are saying not to make big decisions during August because it's raining. The mood is different. You're going to start a business, it's hard to rain and then your bodega will be flooded. It's a problem. Speaker 1 (4:34) I think they're also trying to get it done. Are you sure? Is it just Ghost Month? Are you just applying in the
