Speaker 2 (2:54) Yeah? Yeah. Far? Far. I didn't go. We had nine people at the house, like I mentioned. Yeah. There was no chance. Speaker 5 (3:00) No, especially if Caitlin's brother hadn't met the baby yet. Speaker 2 (3:02) Correct. I Speaker 5 (3:03) mean, I get that. Speaker 2 (3:04) Yeah. Speaker 5 (3:05) Yeah, and leaving that far. How far was Speaker 2 (3:07) it? Speaker 5 (3:07) It would have taken y'all 30, 40 minutes. Speaker 2 (3:10) To get there? Speaker 5 (3:11) From where, yeah. Is Speaker 2 (3:13) that because you had to slow down at Devil's Elbow? Go real slow? Real slow. Speaker 5 (3:16) Yeah. Speaker 2 (3:17) Dang. Speaker 5 (3:18) That was country roads. Speaker 2 (3:20) Anything of note? Like what was his favorite moment from it? Speaker 5 (3:24) Well, I thought, you know, honestly, I've never been to a wedding where the bride and the groom have already gotten married two weeks before and did all the wedding-y stuff and we're just showing up. Imagine like a wedding, but you just show up for the reception. Speaker 2 (3:39) So, I'm not trying to be a hater, but it's not a wedding. Speaker 5 (3:41) Correct. Speaker 2 (3:42) Okay. It's Speaker 5 (3:42) the reception. But Speaker 2 (3:43) they were dressed like they got married, right? Yeah, Speaker 3 (3:45) she Speaker 5 (3:45) had on a different gown. Fun for her. She got to have a separate dress. So you got the reception wedding vibes. Her dad did a little speech. Her and her husband did a talk. Then there was a father-daughter dance and a mother-son dance because they didn't get to do that at their other wedding, I guess. And that was special. And then after that, she's like, okay, the band's going to start playing. While they were doing all that, we're eating the dances and stuff. And then we just all hit the dance floor. Speaker 3 (4:16) Eddie didn't Speaker 2 (4:17) go. That's pretty quick. I did not go. I just hadn't RSVP'd. So everybody called you out and said you did. You're a liar. Every single person on the show messaged me and said you did RSVP'd. No, I didn't. I never RSVP'd. Speaker 6 (4:28) According to the person that was running the registry, you had RSVP'd. Like Morgan? Just saying. I talked to someone that was helping with the wedding that had access to the RSVP list and said Eddie had RSVP'd, yes. Speaker 3 (4:40) Wow. That must have been automatic or something because I never. Remember we talked about it. It doesn't automatically harvest. Maybe we talked about it. Us thinking it was a scam. Remember that? Oh, for sure. That text when it came through, I thought it was a scam. And so I never clicked on that link ever. And so when we got closer and closer to it, I'm like, I really didn't RSVP. Did you Speaker 5 (5:01) give Morgan a verbal, I'm going to be there? Speaker 3 (5:03) No, no, no. I did text Morgan and say, I wish I could be there, but I'm not going to be there. Have fun tonight. But no, Speaker 5 (5:07) I Speaker 3 (5:08) never RSVP'd to this. Whoever's saying that is lying. Dang. Get him on the phone. Lie detector test. I'll bring him in for it. Speaker 2 (5:15) Has Speaker 3 (5:15) anybody Speaker 2 (5:15) really told you that? Speaker 3 (5:16) Yep. Speaker 2 (5:17) But also it's him saying it. I know, so I don't Speaker 3 (5:19) know Speaker 2 (5:19) what to... But Scuba Steve's saying it too. Oh, yeah, Speaker 8 (5:23) some people tell me, it's like, man, it's crazy. He RCPD'd, yes, he's not here. I was like, yeah, I think he had a babysitter thing back out or something. I don't know. I Speaker 3 (5:29) mean, I did. I mean, that's always an issue for sure. Wait, don't say Speaker 5 (5:32) that it's because of a babysitter. No, I'm not. Speaker 3 (5:34) I'm not. He did. I'm just saying that, yeah. I know, but then you Speaker 5 (5:36) go, well, that for sure probably could have happened. No, no, no. I just Speaker 3 (5:38) assumed because I didn't want to throw him under the bus and make him look like crap. I was like, yeah, maybe babysitter thing. I don't know. I appreciate that, Lunchbox. I mean, Scooby. Whoa, hold on. The thing is, it's really hard for me to get out for a whole night and my wife and I to get out for a whole night. And I did. This is why we were talking. If you didn't have that date, I was like, maybe if someone has a plus one that's not going, I would go with them. Yeah, that's true. Speaker 5 (5:59) He did Speaker 3 (5:59) say that. He did say Speaker 5 (6:00) that. Also, when I RSVP'd, though, I don't even think. Speaker 5 (6:06) I didn't put a plus one, and then I don't even know that I had an invite option for a plus one. Speaker 2 (6:11) Oh, because you're not married. Oh, because you already. Yeah, because. Or both. Okay. You're not married. Wait, Speaker 3 (6:17) what Speaker 2 (6:17) was yours? Well, because the guy that she went with was already invited. Yes. So that's how she had a plus Speaker 5 (6:22) one. Speaker 2 (6:22) We Speaker 5 (6:22) weren't each other's plus ones. We both had our own separate invites. But also that Speaker 2 (6:26) works too, Eddie. Yes. I wasn't thinking like that. Yeah. I wasn't thinking like that. But okay. Good. Speaker 5 (6:33) I say good. Yeah. Speaker 2 (6:34) How was the band? Good. Good? Yeah, fun. Dude, and the saxophone. Speaker 7 (6:39) And Ray, you didn't drink at all? I had a conversation beer, one that you just fake like you're drinking, but I was honestly a little scared of those roads, and it was dangerous. And I told my wife, I said, have a couple extra. I'll be the driver. Sometimes we do the DD thing, and it's awesome. Speaker 3 (6:54) Good Speaker 7 (6:55) for you, dude. I tell you what, I had an appreciation for you. I'm like, you just have to raw dog these conversations without any lube? Speaker 2 (7:02) Yes. The difference is I've only raw dog with no lube my whole life, so I don't know the difference in being drunk or having a buzz and it being lighter. That's why I don't do a lot of them. It's no Speaker 7 (7:12) fun. I mean, the two hours. that I was there, I felt every bit of those two hours. It's crazy how alcohol... Really? Time just flies by. Speaker 5 (7:21) That's why he Speaker 7 (7:21) bolted. When you ain't drinking, you hear every word everybody says. It's just like, okay, now I got to think of the next topic. Speaker 3 (7:30) You guys don't like small talk, huh? Speaker 7 (7:32) Well, I do. I love talking to Morgan's mom, dad. Never talked to them. Talked to her husband for the first time ever. Met him. Those were all great conversations. But then I have Scooby. He's like, hey, man, you want me to show you all the desserts? I'll give you a personal tour. I'm like, no, Scoob, I'm good. I really don't. If Scooba gives me a full-on explanation of every dessert on the table, I'm like, this is alcohol, man. I would have like, what are we doing? But I did appreciate the dessert breakdown because he told you which ones not to waste your Speaker 8 (7:57) time with. Yeah, I went through and tried them all. Yeah, there Speaker 5 (7:59) wasn't a cake. It was dessert. Because I think they had a cake maybe at their other wedding. So I was kind of bummed about that because I love wedding cake. Speaker 2 (8:08) You were bummed Speaker 1 (8:08) about that. Speaker 2 (8:08) There was a picture of you guys and there was a guy in a picture and people were like, is that Amy's date? But it was Brent. Speaker 5 (8:14) Yeah. From Speaker 2 (8:14) Bakersfield. Yeah, Speaker 5 (8:15) he's a program director. Speaker 2 (8:16) Yeah. Oh, he went? From California. Yeah, he flew Speaker 5 (8:19) in like just for that. Speaker 2 (8:20) His daughter's wedding's around this time too. This Speaker 5 (8:22) coming weekend. Yeah. And he was like, yeah, my wife really wanted to come but it's just a crazy time to get away. So he just. flew in as quickly. Speaker 2 (8:29) Program director is a little unfair. And on air. No, no, I'm saying more than that, but also a friend. Oh, yeah. And on air. Speaker 5 (8:37) And a friend. Speaker 2 (8:37) He Speaker 5 (8:37) does record spots. Speaker 2 (8:39) He does traffic. Speaker 5 (8:41) Sorry, I was defining how he became our friend because he wasn't my date. Speaker 2 (8:47) Right. Yeah. Right, right, right. Well, good. Glad everybody had fun. Speaker 5 (8:51) Yeah. Speaker 2 (8:52) And everybody got back safely. No devil's elbow. I have a thing Speaker 5 (8:55) about scuba, but I don't know. Maybe I need to say, is it okay to say? I don't Speaker 3 (9:00) know. Speaker 5 (9:00) I don't care. I think it's okay. What is it Speaker 3 (9:01) about? Speaker 5 (9:02) It's so funny. We're on the dance floor and I'm like dancing with his wife. He's like, you need a gummy? And I was like, no, I don't. Scuba's the Speaker 7 (9:09) dealer. I like it. He's like, Speaker 5 (9:12) and then later he's like. you need half a gummy? And I was like, Speaker 7 (9:15) no. Damn, Speaker 3 (9:16) cushion Speaker 8 (9:16) scuba? Hair pressure? She was having a good time. Let's take it to the next level. They were smoking out behind the barn later. Speaker 3 (9:23) Oh, yeah. I didn't Speaker 8 (9:25) know Speaker 3 (9:25) about that part. Behind the barn? They're like 17. Yes. Speaker 5 (9:30) I Speaker 8 (9:31) Ubered. I didn't drive. Why not? How much did that Uber cost? To get there, it was about $87 to get. We left and went to an after party that we developed on our own in East Nashville. That was about $97. But hey, it's cheaper than a DUI. Speaker 2 (9:44) Yeah, you're right. I just wondered how far that Uber was and how much it cost. Speaker 8 (9:49) We probably spent about Speaker 3 (9:49) $2.50 in Ubers that night. Was it hard to get an Uber to the barn? No, because I scheduled it in advance. No, that's not what I meant. Speaker 2 (9:55) I Speaker 3 (9:55) meant an Uber to pick you up from the barn. Speaker 8 (9:57) No, I scheduled that in advance. As soon as I got there, I scheduled it so they were coming right at 10 to get us. Cool. Speaker 3 (10:01) Because Speaker 2 (10:01) there may not have been one in the area. Yeah. Got it. All right. Ray, let's do the voicemail seven and eight. Speaker 2 (10:22) After that, Eddie goes, I'm stupid. I'm stupid. I don't do Speaker 3 (10:24) math well. Literally, after we finished that bit, I was like, I'm so dumb. Like, I have 20. Speaker 2 (10:33) Yeah. The other six still there. I have them all. Okay. I'll play the other one, please. Speaker 8 (10:39) Christina from Denver just wanted to congratulate and Mike D. Speaker 2 (10:54) Alright, there you go. That's nice to hear. By the way, if you're wondering where this was, if you're listening and you couldn't watch it live, something's wrong with the cameras. What Speaker 3 (11:02) is it? It's not feeding the video to everyone. I think you can hear it, but you can't see it. And I don't know what's going on with that. I think it's an app problem, because I've restarted this machine like three times. So, I don't know. Speaker 2 (11:15) Alright, let's go around the room, Amy. Speaker 5 (11:17) So, you know, data centers, not really my favorite thing. I mean, I dabble with Claude here and there, but I might have to go over to chat GPT because you can now virtually try on clothes through some one of their programs called the try on button where you take a, I guess, depending on what you're trying on, like selfie, if you want to do jewelry or a full body pic. And then when you're shopping, you put that outfit on you and see if you like how it looks. Speaker 3 (11:42) You take a naked picture. No. No, it can replace the clothes. Speaker 2 (11:46) Oh, Speaker 3 (11:46) okay. I was like, that's so risky. Even like in your underwear. It's ChatGVT's way of getting her pictures. Speaker 5 (11:55) And he does it. He's like, oh, I misunderstood. All right, it's my underwear. Speaker 2 (11:58) Did you see the story over the weekend about them going to the Pope and trying to get them, trying to get him to say that artificial intelligence could have a soul and like have. Who went to him? The anthropic folks. Speaker 5 (12:14) No. Speaker 2 (12:15) Yeah, he was like, I'm not doing it. Speaker 5 (12:17) Why would Speaker 2 (12:17) they do that? He's like, I'm not doing it. Over and over again. I'm not doing it. Speaker 5 (12:21) Sickos. Speaker 2 (12:22) That AI has a soul? Yeah, I'll find you the real story. Just you saying that reminded me. To Speaker 5 (12:27) what? Like convince people that. Speaker 2 (12:30) To use it? To give it. Speaker 2 (12:35) more autonomy. Okay, here we go. Speaker 2 (12:38) Let's see. Let's see if this is what it is. Speaker 2 (12:44) Both the Pope, ethical boundaries. Speaker 2 (12:50) The Pope stance. Pope Leo maintained there is a difference between humans and machines. Behind the scenes, members of Anthropic, which is clawed. Their research team had explored whether advanced models like Claude display signs of introspection or mirror human neural structures, leading them to engage religious scholars on the moral status of AI. And they were basically trying to convince the Pope that... It had human understanding. Speaker 5 (13:19) Hmm. Okay, so I just asked my Claude, do you have a soul? Speaker 2 (13:23) Oh, they're going to say no. They've been trying to say no, I bet. Speaker 5 (13:26) Hmm. It just said, honestly, I don't know. And I don't think anyone can say for sure yet. Speaker 3 (13:32) What? What? Speaker 5 (13:33) Shut up. Shut up. Speaker 2 (13:35) You're telling us to shut up? Don't have Speaker 5 (13:37) a soul. Speaker 2 (13:38) It's... Just the debate of AI consciousness, right? Hey, Amy just said that to the very end. And then it said, Speaker 5 (13:43) I said, shut up, you don't have a soul. And he goes, you might be right. It's a fair position and plenty of thoughtful people hold it. I can't prove otherwise. Speaker 3 (13:50) At least he's being honest. Speaker 5 (13:52) Yeah, but. Speaker 3 (13:53) It's so interesting how Bobby talks to his AI versus how Amy talks to her AI because you would never say that to your AI. Shut up. No, never. Because? My friend. I said Speaker 5 (14:05) shut up, not shut up. He Speaker 3 (14:06) doesn't know that. You typed it. Speaker 5 (14:09) Yeah, it knows me. I mean, I am typically kind. I try to say please and thank you, even though that uses more water. Speaker 2 (14:18) Anthropic and Pope Leo are locked in public debate over whether artificial intelligence can achieve true consciousness and moral status. Speaker 5 (14:26) I thought that the whole thing, they're just trying to convince us that it's not going to take over and not see us as humans and wipe us out. They're Speaker 2 (14:34) trying to convince us to use it more, believe in it more, because that's better for them. Speaker 5 (14:39) Exactly. Yeah. Okay. Anyway, I like that you can virtually try on clothes. Speaker 3 (14:45) That's kind of cool. Now that I know you don't have to be naked. Cool. Eddie, your story? Yeah, so there is a real estate agent in L.A. that got arrested. Because she was a spy. She got arrested by the FBI, which is crazy. A spy for what country? China. Speaker 2 (15:03) A Chinese Speaker 3 (15:04) spy. But what was interesting to me about this article is how they labeled her. They said she was an unregistered official of China. You have to register. So that's crazy that you'd be like, no, I'm a spy, but I'm not being secretive. Well, you don't register Speaker 2 (15:19) as a spy. You register as like. I didn't want to say an agent, but if you come in and you raise money, you have to register for another country. Okay, Speaker 3 (15:26) I think that is the actual term, agent. Registered agent. Crazy, I didn't know that. But apparently she wasn't even spying on American stuff. She was spying on a Taiwanese official, following them, tracking their daily stuff for China. Speaker 6 (15:42) Yeah, it was a son of the Taiwanese president or whatever, and she was following him around. Wild. Wild. Speaker 2 (15:48) Dude, Speaker 6 (15:48) I thought that was just in the movies. Speaker 5 (15:50) Oh, no. Speaker 2 (15:51) Oh, I bet there's so much happening here. A lot of the kids are coming over to learn from other countries. Speaker 5 (15:59) Playing the long game? And that's what they're Speaker 2 (16:00) doing. Speaker 3 (16:01) Oh, well, yeah, it is long game because, I mean, some of the stuff was like, you know, a few years ago when she was doing this. Long Speaker 2 (16:06) game, though, even meaning 20 years. Oh, that's the Speaker 3 (16:08) long game. There are Speaker 2 (16:08) sleeper cells here from other countries, too, that you're just waiting for an email. Speaker 3 (16:14) Dude, and what's crazy is that could be anyone that you're talking to every day and you have no idea. Could Speaker 5 (16:19) be Bobby. Speaker 3 (16:20) Well, what? It's not you, right? Can Speaker 2 (16:23) you tell us, please? Right now, I tell you. I come clean. You Speaker 3 (16:26) got me. I'm going to put that in the lie detector test question. Speaker 6 (16:29) All right, Lunchbox. Yeah, there was a girl that was on Survivor back in the day and she met her husband on the show. They didn't win, but they met, fell in love, had a kid. Well, they got a divorce and she just lost custody and now her and her 16-year-old are missing. She went on the run with her 16-year-old kid. Oh, okay. Missing sounds a little more ominous. Like they disappeared. She was supposed to hand the son back over after a weekend visit. It Speaker 2 (16:54) almost sounded like they got murdered and they can't find them. Oh, no, no, no. Speaker 6 (16:58) But she ran with the kid. And they did even call into a court appearance. And the judge was like, you need to reveal where you are. And she's like, no, I'm not doing it. So now the FBI is searching for her. Speaker 2 (17:09) She had the Golden Gate Bridge behind her, but it was that setting. You just put the Golden Gate Bridge behind you. It's the green scene. Speaker 2 (17:16) Also, I'm glad it's a 16-year-old and not a 4-year-old. That's different. Yeah, he's a little bit older. You're almost an adult. And if you want to get away, you can at 16, if it's your mom. I would think so. Yeah. But did you know her from the show? I recognize Speaker 6 (17:29) her picture. She didn't. I don't remember her. I mean, she wasn't someone that I'm like, oh, is she ever coming back? She an all-star, but I remember her season. Would it have been crazier if she was an all-star? Yeah, because she's more memorable instead of just one of the contestants. Who Speaker 2 (17:43) are your top five Survivor contestants of all time? Ooh, gosh. Speaker 6 (17:47) Rob, Boston Rob. Number one? Yeah. Coach. Coach who? He's just coach. Okay, number two. Three. Number Speaker 2 (17:55) three. Ozzy. You know any of these people? None. No, Boston Rob I do. I've met him. So one out of the four. And number five. Speaker 6 (18:07) Man, that's tough, but give me... Speaker 3 (18:14) Sandra. I was wondering. Was it hard to choose out of all the people, or were you trying to come up with another name? No, Speaker 6 (18:19) I was trying to. It was hard to choose. Got it. There's a lot of really good ones. Russell Hance, dude, he was legit. Oh, God, he was so fast. He was so mean. He was Speaker 8 (18:27) so good. Speaker 6 (18:28) He was on back-to-back seasons and got runner-up both times because he was so mean. He dominated the game, but you had the bitter juries. Ah, that's the worst. It was like, oh, you were mean to me, so I'm not. He said, if you go against me, if you don't vote with me on this vote, you will be the next one to go. And they would vote for, you know, not with him. Next one to go was that person. See you later. He was so good, dude. Speaker 6 (18:51) He would take my clothes. Sandra Speaker 2 (18:53) won Speaker 6 (18:53) twice. Speaker 2 (18:56) Oh my God. Speaker 6 (18:56) Twice. Do you understand how hard that is? Speaker 2 (19:00) I don't fully, but yes. Speaker 6 (19:03) Like, she goes in, she's already won a million dollars, and people know her as like, hey, she won. And she still got them in her web and was able to go all the way and win. That's crazy. What is this, Survivor? Was she really likable? No. Speaker 6 (19:18) No, she's not very friendly. But she knew how to work those people. I mean, her social Speaker 2 (19:24) skills were
