Speaker 2 (0:01) Guys, welcome back to Happy Monday. Speaker 1 (0:07) Happy Monday. Speaker 2 (0:09) We're going to talk Korean skincare because as many things in life change, so does my opinion. Speaker 2 (0:20) I'm still focused on this cake thing. Do you guys think, which is going to be too late now, I'll be fine even though I don't feel fine. I feel un-fine. I Speaker 1 (0:28) think Virgo's cute. Speaker 2 (0:29) I think we should do Virgo. I Speaker 1 (0:31) think they can do like cute little Virgo symbols and then it'll be like... Speaker 2 (0:34) I don't know about the Virgo symbols. I don't think it's very pretty. Or Virgo season or Virgo baby. Virgo baby. Speaker 1 (0:42) Yeah. Speaker 2 (0:43) TT will handle it. That's Maria. She's so good at everything in Speaker 1 (0:47) life. Anyways, so Korean skincare. We have recently brought on a few things from a Korean skincare brand. Yeah. Don't roll the tapes back on all the times. Okay. Speaker 2 (1:04) Here's the thing. Korean skincare, I stand by this. I never said it was bad. I said it's not corrective. Yeah. Speaker 1 (1:11) This Speaker 2 (1:12) is professional Korean skincare. Yeah. Speaker 1 (1:14) I mean, typically it's always been. So like medical Speaker 2 (1:16) grade Korean skincare products, not what you're getting at a Korean CVS in Korea. Yeah. Speaker 1 (1:23) Because most of Korean skincare has typically always been towards like barrier. Yeah, and it's just Speaker 2 (1:29) like very like glass skin, which is great. But I'm treating acne. I'm treating pigment. I'm treating severe premature aging. So it has its place. But it just like, again, I didn't find something that was a caliber of what I needed for my practice and like fit where it needed to go. So I still stand by. I don't think Korean skincare. Is corrective unless it's professional grade Korean skincare. Yeah. Just like I don't think all skincare, American skincare is good skincare unless it's. Speaker 1 (2:07) Yeah. Speaker 2 (2:08) Professional grade. And there really wasn't professional grade Korean skincare. Speaker 1 (2:14) Yeah. Or that was popular radar. Yeah. Maybe there was if you live in Seoul, but we don't in Speaker 2 (2:22) America. It wasn't over here yet. So and Speaker 1 (2:25) it's affordable. Speaker 2 (2:27) And that's been like so great, too, for clients to have like more affordable price point. And I'm really impressed by the neck cream specifically. Speaker 2 (2:38) That one's great. It has micro collagen threads. Speaker 1 (2:42) And it's Speaker 2 (2:43) $50. Speaker 1 (2:44) Yeah, that's the most insane thing. And that's Speaker 2 (2:47) like Speaker 1 (2:47) something with Korean. I mean, I feel like that's a lot of what I hear is everything is more affordable over there. And I think Korea is entering the U.S. market. I mean, they're in Sephora. Well, I mean, even the medical side is coming over. Like one of our favorite people at Skin Better. Erin Wright. She was like an OG day one skin better. She literally named Trio. Like she is, was on their marketing side and she recently left because there's a new company that is bringing over the neurotoxin, the number one neurotoxin in Korea over to the United States. It was just FDA approved. So I feel like a lot of like. Korean medical aesthetics is going to start coming over. But it's just crazy that everything is cheaper over there. I've heard that like if you want to go get like, you know, Botox and filler everywhere and everything, it would be cheaper to fly there, get a hotel there, get everything Speaker 2 (3:50) done and come back. Speaker 1 (3:51) Yeah. Speaker 2 (3:52) Yeah. Because of course, I know some people are like, didn't you say you didn't like it? And I still stand by it. I never said I didn't like it. I didn't say it was as effective as like Skin Better or EpiCutis or Faciality. Yeah. Like the brands that we were using for what I'm targeting. No. Speaker 1 (4:07) No. And so the neck cream has shown amazing results. And also we just brought on some brightening pads. And those are also affordable. And they Speaker 2 (4:20) have LHA and PHA, which is a polyhydroxy acid, like lactobionic acid, gluconolactone, which is way less like aggressive and exfoliating as an AHA. So Speaker 1 (4:32) both peel pads have their place. Like if you are someone who has, you know, Deep hyperpigmentation and stuff like that probably still would stick with the Alpharet peel pads but for someone who I mean everyone needs exfoliation so texture or just like want to improve your overall tone of your skin the new Brightening pads that we're carrying Maybe a better fit and a little bit more affordable. Yeah Speaker 2 (5:02) or add them in and they're also pregnancy safe You can also add those like twice a week and peel pad once a week if you know You need a little bit less exfoliation. Yeah, but you can also use those peel pads in the morning You can't use alpharette peel pads at night. Speaker 1 (5:16) Oh, that's true. So Speaker 2 (5:17) I think that's also like a really great thing to have and then Just more gentle for people that just want that glow and gentle exfoliation without Doing too much. Yeah. Speaker 1 (5:29) And you're still testing some of their other products. Speaker 2 (5:32) I am. Speaker 1 (5:32) Right now. A Speaker 2 (5:33) really cool spot treatment and a mask. Which I've been using the spot treatment on my body acne never had this in my entire life. I've never been so Inflamed like with Cyrus. I was big because I was eating. Yeah, Speaker 1 (5:48) I'm Speaker 2 (5:48) not eating that bad with this baby at all I'm just so inflamed and they say like you get puffier with a girl. Speaker 1 (5:54) I is Speaker 2 (5:54) what they say. I don't know. It still is your beauty I have body acne. I am like puffy because Speaker 1 (6:00) you're like baking beauty like in your stomach Speaker 2 (6:07) And yeah, I'm exhausted. I'm tired. I'm crying. I cry all the time. Every day, multiple times a day. And I don't fucking cry. Like that's what
