Speaker 5 (0:41) This Speaker 2 (0:41) is Steve Sutton, originally from Rochdale, now in Windermere. Beautiful part of the world, Windermere. Yeah, it's lovely, mate. Yeah, very nice. How long have you been up there? Speaker 4 (0:50) About 10 years now. Oh, right. Okay. Nice. Yeah, yeah. Speaker 2 (0:54) Now, one of the things that you do that a lot of people will be fascinated by is that you went to Thailand and then came back and decided to be a tuk-tuk driver. Speaker 4 (1:01) Yeah, that's basically what happened, yeah. So lockdown happened and stuff. I didn't have... my old job anymore and just thought it'd be a great way for people to see the lakes and stuff. But also in that I'm a photographer, so I take photos of people in the nicest parts of the Lake District. But they get there on a tuk-tuk. Speaker 2 (1:21) What a great idea. Speaker 4 (1:22) Yeah, it's pretty good, mate, yeah. Speaker 2 (1:24) You must be fit as a fiddle, Steve. Speaker 4 (1:26) Well, no, it's a petrol engine. I won't be putting it up and down. It's got a 250cc petrol engine in it. Oh, Speaker 2 (1:33) right, OK. I thought you might have just used that for reserve. No, no. Excellent. And what is the most popular viewing spot? Where is it? Speaker 4 (1:43) Well, pretty close to Windermere. I shouldn't really tell people because I could just walk there, but Biscay Viewpoint is a good spot. Speaker 2 (1:48) Right. And do you provide the photographs for the tuk-tuk passengers as well? Yeah, yeah, that's what Speaker 4 (1:54) they're paying for. They're paying for the photographs in these beautiful places. Yeah, that's how it works. Speaker 2 (2:00) Oh, great. Speaker 4 (2:01) Yeah, it's good. Speaker 2 (2:01) What a cracking idea, Steve. Nice one. And it was after a trip to Thailand in 2019 that kind of sparked that off. Speaker 4 (2:08) Yeah, everywhere you go in Thailand, there's these little tuk-tuks. We went to one island called Koh Mook, and you could go anywhere on the island for 50p on it. Mine's a bit more expensive than that. Speaker 2 (2:20) And you get a photograph. Yeah. How's your music knowledge, Steve? Do you have music on in the tuk-tuk? Speaker 4 (2:25) Yeah, I have music on in the tuk-tuk. Music knowledge, not too bad, I guess. I'm hoping to get double figures. Speaker 2 (2:31) Good. That's Speaker 4 (2:32) a Speaker 2 (2:32) nice bar to raise yourself. If we can get over that, you'll stand yourself in good stead of winning the smart speaker. But if not, you can have the old coffee mug. Speaker 4 (2:41) Well, that'll do. Speaker 2 (2:42) Yeah, exactly. Right, ten questions, Steve, coming your way, so good luck. Speaker 2 (3:06) What
