Speaker 3 (0:00) Welcome to Staying Run of the Podcast, hosted by two bestest of best pals. We are 10 days in to seeing each other every single day. Me, Sam Thompson, and Peter James. Jonathan James and Wicks! Speaker 1 (0:13) 10 days. Yeah, we are 10 days in. I don't know if I'm allowed to say it, but women, you know, their cycles kind of match and all that sort of stuff. Sam and I, we now colour coordinate on days... accidentally every day of filming we've almost come wearing the same thing for no reason today we've turned up all in black because it is mostly the death of our friendship and career based on the past 10 days um so uh yeah make sure you rate reviewed all of that sort of stuff you know the score by now there will be swearing in this if you don't like it go yourself. This is the main episode, which comes out Monday, which you'll be able to watch visually on Josh and Kira's YouTube channel from 5pm on Wednesday. And then we'll be doing a bonus episode, which comes out Thursday audibly, which you can then watch on Josh and Kira's YouTube channel from 5pm on Sunday, which means you can catch us on a... You Speaker 3 (1:00) can catch us on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and a Sunday. We did something very, very fun this week as a team, actually, didn't we? We all did something. We can't talk too much about it. You're going to see it very, very soon. But we had a staying relevant team... Day out last week. We can't, as I said, reveal exactly what we're doing. Well, we can Speaker 1 (1:17) reveal some things, Sam. And I'll tell you why we can reveal some things. Not only am I filming a TV show with Sam and a podcast with Sam, now I'm on team day outs with Sam. I can't get away from him. Now, you can tell by the way Sam said there, we had a team day out, didn't we team? It Speaker 3 (1:33) was so fun. Speaker 1 (1:34) But you are the only one that thought so. Speaker 3 (1:37) You, mate. Cole, you had a good time. Speaker 1 (1:39) Do you know what? I had a great time. Up until about midday. I was in high spirits. I think the whole team was. You were in high spirits. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Until midday. Speaker 1 (1:51) Well, because in the morning you were very tired, quite quiet. We just got on with stuff. Then Sam got a second wind. And that's where shit took a turn for the worse for everyone included. Shall we? Let's start with Pippa. All right. Because it's not just me, because I know everyone just thinks it's just me always moaning. Team day out. Everyone would assume that that's a really fun day out. You know. colleagues we are it's not just you know we are friends but we are colleagues it was work and listen we have a lot of fun at work what we've also got recently is hr Speaker 1 (2:29) Pippa, do you want to tell everyone what Sam did to you? Speaker 2 (2:31) Sam farted and shoved it in my face. No, you can't say it like that. You can't say he shoved it in Speaker 3 (2:36) my face. Speaker 2 (2:36) Okay, how would you say it? Speaker 3 (2:38) I don't know, cupped it? Speaker 1 (2:40) No, no, no, no, no, no. And I'll tell you why I know you shoved it, because I wasn't there. It's because I've seen the video. Now, the video was a member of the public who filmed Sam in the street, just walking along, right, and caught him. farting in his hand and then shoving it in Pippa's face. I Speaker 3 (3:02) got a DM the day afterwards in the morning going... Speaker 1 (3:06) You don't know this, do you? Wait till you see the fucking video. The video Speaker 2 (3:09) is... Yeah, I've got it on me. Wait, can I read you the Speaker 3 (3:12) message as Speaker 2 (3:13) well? Speaker 3 (3:14) She's absolutely rumbled the shit out of me. The odds on her catching this, by the way, are absolutely nuts. She called Macy. Lovely, lovely Macy. She goes, might have accidentally caught you on video farting in your hand and putting in Pippa's face today in Whitstable. Any comments, Sam? And then sent me that video. And she's basically just like... being like, oh, that's Pete and Sam. And she's literally like got her phone Speaker 1 (3:42) out. Speaker 3 (3:42) No, no, no, Speaker 1 (3:43) no, don't have my name. And I weren't fucking there. No, but Speaker 3 (3:44) she said. Pete actually was Speaker 2 (3:46) not there for that part of the day. Right, Speaker 3 (3:48) she's gone, that's Sam. And she's got her phone out. And she's filming. And she's talking to a friend being like, oh, yeah, no, no, no. And then as she zoomed in, she just happened to catch me farting in my hand and putting Speaker 2 (4:00) it up Speaker 3 (4:00) to. Speaker 2 (4:00) Reaches his hand behind him. I know what we were talking about. We were walking along discussing like how the edit of this branded vlog we were doing, like that we were all there filming, like it was a work conversation, God forbid. And Speaker 3 (4:14) I'm walking along Speaker 2 (4:14) discussing like how it's going to come out and stuff. And then in the video, he reaches his hand behind his back, puts it by his ass in like a cupped motion, swoops it around the front of him and shoves it into my face. And we just carry on walking after it's happened, which is the worst bit because it looks like it happens all the time. Speaker 3 (4:34) Pippa didn't even recoil. If Speaker 1 (4:36) anything, she lends it. So listen, do, I mean, a couple of questions and they're not just from me. They have come from HR. Do you think that's appropriate? Speaker 3 (4:48) Do you know what? Do you think Speaker 1 (4:50) that's appropriate? Speaker 3 (4:51) Yes, for Pippa, yes, I do. For Pippa, I do. You're like my sister. We do these things. you fart on me i fart on you Speaker 2 (4:57) famously all the time it's Speaker 3 (5:00) just to get caught doing that it's like but other than that i was on i was on i was in good form i feel like as the day one i did i started a little bit like tired and paper actually came up to me at the start i'm a bit a bit sad that you feel like so quiet she was like you're really like you're bumming me out because you're so tired and then you wanted me to charge up no Speaker 1 (5:17) no no no no no no because what she didn't want you to do all right charge up was let's have some sort of normal fun. What Sam thought normal fun would be. What Speaker 2 (5:29) do you constitute as normal fun? Like you just Speaker 1 (5:31) have a laugh with your mates. Like you tell jokes, hang out, you know, that sort of thing. Tell Speaker 2 (5:34) jokes? Speaker 1 (5:35) What you don't do, what you don't do, I don't mean like knock knock. People, what kind of jokes did you tell? I don't mean like knock knock jokes, but I mean you just kind of, you just have like a laugh together. Tell some jokes. You know, where everyone's kind of in. What you don't do is go, don't worry, I'll drive. Speaker 1 (5:54) And then go, I'll tell you what will liven this up. I'll emergency stop in the middle of the road whilst you've got the entire team in the car so everyone's got whiplash. That to me sounds like only one of us is having fun. Because at that point, at that point, that, that ruined Speaker 3 (6:13) my Speaker 1 (6:14) day. For the rest of the day, I could barely contain my rage. Speaker 1 (6:21) And this was only halfway through the day. And what we also had to do, right? So at this point, I'm not happy about this, right? And I think Pip is safe to say you weren't happy about that either. Speaker 2 (6:33) No, I didn't like the stop at all. Speaker 1 (6:34) Keira also I don't think was happy about that. Annalise Speaker 3 (6:38) loved it. Annalise, Speaker 1 (6:39) over the moon. And I'll tell you why Annalise was over the moon, because Sam and Annalise spent the day just repeating quiff. Speaker 2 (6:47) Queef. Speaker 1 (6:49) Queef. Not quiff. Queef. They spent the entire day. And that is the funniest thing that's ever happened to anyone, apparently. All right. There was no context. It was just, how are you, queef? I'm good, queef. Slay queef. Non-stop for the rest of the day. Speaker 3 (7:04) Slay queef. And Speaker 1 (7:05) that was as fun as it got. All right. Speaker 1 (7:11) So listen, it all got a lot. We were all in a confined space and the moments that we were out of the confined space, I just walked off and took myself kind of away. But we all had to then resume the confined space for the journey home. Which was, well, wouldn't that have been a nice? Oh Speaker 3 (7:30) yeah, no, it was. Speaker 1 (7:31) Wouldn't that have been nice? The two hours. But in the meantime, during one of my periods of alone time, Sam had found a shop. So Sam thought, I'll tell you what would be a great idea, because Pete's in a great mood at this point, after I've given him whiplash, I'll pop to a shop and I'll buy a microphone for the way home. Speaker 1 (7:53) So after what had been a 10-hour day, I'm driving. Again, Speaker 3 (7:58) it was so far. Speaker 1 (7:59) In rush hour on a two-hour drive home with the entire team in the car and Sam decides about, I don't think I'd left the car park before that whacked out, an echo microphone to which he sang renditions of Backstreet Boys and a range of songs and just changed the odd word to queef. For two hours. Speaker 3 (8:22) For two Speaker 1 (8:25) hours. He then, I'll tell you this, Josh wasn't with us. Josh, luckily for him, was in another vehicle. But he might as well have been with us because they also spent, the entire team, I'm not just blaming Sam for this because Pippa was also an accessory to this crime, just calling Josh to ask how his day was. We literally just left him. Speaker 3 (8:47) I called Josh three times and then made sure the entire car spoke to him. I felt he was a bit alone. So I was like, look, we should pass around the car all asking Josh how his journey's going. But a third time, Pete's like, we don't need a fucking cool Josh anymore. Hi, Speaker 1 (9:02) Josh. Hi, how are you? Has it been a good day? Yeah. Pippa wants to talk to you. Hi, Josh. Hi. Speaker 3 (9:09) Yeah. Kira just wants to say hello. Josh, how have you been? So Speaker 1 (9:13) Sam had a great day. How was the team day out? Sam had fun. That's the answer to that one. Annalise loved it. But guys, who, you know, we were in a car a lot together. Who's the better travel companion? Speaker 2 (9:28) Pete, that's it. Who are you going to have more fun with? Speaker 1 (9:30) I Speaker 2 (9:30) don't find emergency stops that fun. Speaker 1 (9:33) No, I don't think there's many people that Speaker 2 (9:34) do. Speaker 1 (9:34) Or being Speaker 2 (9:34) farted on. Speaker 1 (9:36) Sorry, when you did your driving test and you went to an emergency stop, did you both giggle for an hour? Speaker 2 (9:41) No. Speaker 1 (9:42) Is that where it came from? Is that what sparks your love of emergency stops in a car? The Speaker 3 (9:47) problem is that when someone's laughing with you, it's really hard Speaker 1 (9:49) to stop. What Annalise I don't think has worked out is that she... We can't enable Sam. Sam, what you have to do is ignore him and eventually he'll stop. But you give him one giggle, one giggle, and that joke is going to last a good three or four weeks. We did Speaker 3 (10:07) it all the way back. Speaker 1 (10:08) And I'll tell you what, I walked into the office this morning and what did I see? Annalise and Sam going, Slay Queef! It was a week ago we went on this fucking road trip and Queef is still just as funny now as it was in the two-hour fucking car ride home. It's Speaker 3 (10:20) just my favourite word on the planet. Again, Speaker 1 (10:22) HR. Speaker 3 (10:23) It's such a Speaker 2 (10:25) good word. If you really Speaker 3 (10:26) deep it, like really deep a queef, right? Like how jokes is the word queef? Do you know what I didn't understand? This is actually crazy. Like this is legit crazy. I'm not doing Speaker 1 (10:36) a podcast about queef. Speaker 3 (10:37) No, no, no. I'm sorry. I'm not deep diving Speaker 1 (10:40) this. I'm not going to sit and do it. No, I hear you. We've won awards, Sam. I know. We've won awards. This Speaker 3 (10:45) needs to be said. I couldn't believe that sometimes if a girl farts. It can go in their other place and then come out. I think you've Speaker 2 (10:56) misunderstood it. No, Speaker 3 (10:57) it can't. And Speaker 2 (10:57) I'm not deep diving it either. It can't. But that's not really what it is. Do Speaker 1 (11:01) you Speaker 2 (11:01) know what I like? It's Speaker 1 (11:02) not. Do you know what I like? Capri Sun. No, Speaker 3 (11:06) do you know what? That's a perfect segue, actually. That's a great segue. It's not. It's the worst segue in the world. It's just anything to get away from fucking queef. That's a great segue because actually on that fucking note, Pete, one is loving the Capri Suns right now. Two, really sticking to his
