It's great to be with you here tonight. Always a pleasure, man. Sounds Speaker 2 (2:32) like you're sitting in the room with me because you're dialed right into the network. Brad Primo, CEO of Lead Slinger's Whiskey and former combat vet, former law enforcement. Welcome back, Brad. How you feeling, man? Feeling good? Feeling better? Last week, a little bit under the weather. Speaker 5 (2:47) Yeah, I'm feeling better, back to full power. So I'm glad to be back. Good to talk to you guys again. Speaker 2 (2:54) Hopefully you went and got the shot and got all the follow-up shots and got the vaccination and all that stuff. Did you do all that? Did you do all that? Speaker 5 (3:02) Oh, yeah, you know, 10 vaccination Speaker 2 (3:04) shots. Speaker 5 (3:04) You Speaker 2 (3:04) got Speaker 5 (3:04) your mask on? Yeah, but I grew a third arm, you know. Brad's crazy. Speaker 2 (3:11) Hey, Justin Moon, CEO of Car Arms, guess what? Brad's probably driving around with a mask all by himself in his car. Brad, I wouldn't do that to you. I'm just funning with you. Justin, welcome in, man. How you doing? Speaker 6 (3:23) Doing good, Mark. I'd stay away from those COVID shots, though. Speaker 2 (3:27) Yeah, absolutely. We've had a lot of fun talking about those over the years. So, Justin, while we've got you here, you know, I just talked to Anastasia today up there in Greeley, and I found out that Tata Domiak is going to be speaking at the Rod of Iron Festival coming up. She's asked me to interview him on the stage in addition to moderating the panel. also has Jared Yanis and others on it. So those festivals are just getting bigger and bigger, man. Speaker 6 (3:58) Yeah, a lot of great names are there. So we're going to have a great time, and I look forward to seeing you. I mean, we are at a new location in Newfoundland this year. We're at the same location as last year. We still haven't sorted out all the insurance issues on my property. But we're going to have a great time, and it'll be a great weekend. Speaker 2 (4:18) Yeah, and of course, Ryan Petty, I'm going to be seeing you. We're going to be hooking up together for you and I sit on the board at the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, otherwise known. as the CCRKBA, the sister organization of SAF, will be at the joint board meeting together on Thursday afternoon. And, of course, Tate Adamiak will be speaking there as well. So I'm looking forward to that. Are you excited about GRPC? This is going to be a good one, man. I mean, the lineup's just huge this year. Good heavens. Speaker 1 (4:45) Yeah, this is amazing, and there's so much to celebrate. It's going to be great to see you, Mark, obviously, listen to Tate Adamiak and others speak. I mean, this is going to be a... A powerful GRPC this year. It's going to be amazing. Speaker 2 (4:57) It is. The lineup is gigantic. And Brad, get this. I've been talking about this in the previous couple hours. I kind of want to run this around the table with you guys because the irony of this is not lost on me. Brad, I will be interviewing in what we call a fireside chat, 45 minutes up on stage, two individuals that I would have lost money on hands down having ever been to a gun rights... policy conference but i will be sitting down on stage interviewing robert cicada the director of the a t f and the chief legal counsel for the a t f rob lighter brad i never in my wildest fantasies would have thought that i would have to high-ranking a t f director and and lead counsel at a gun rights policy conference when you hear that The irony there, and it's all in a friendly format and a friendly forum from people that would have never, ever, ever even could. Could you imagine my sitting down and even trying to sit down with Dettelbach? Oh, man, the fire. I mean, the fireballs would have been thrown, but he would have never shown up because he didn't have the guts. This is incredible stuff, bro. Speaker 5 (6:06) Yeah, no, I mean, that's awesome. And, you know, I mean, just from like a law enforcement standpoint, you know, a lot of times when you have the best relationships between, you know, the people tasked with enforcing the law and the people is when there's engagement between those two groups. And, you know, it kind of humanizes, I guess, the people for the people doing the enforcing. And, you know, the ACF for so long has been just completely deaf. when it comes to what we have to say about our rights and how we feel about what they're doing and how they do their jobs and what their jobs should actually be. And so the fact that these guys are willing to show up and sit down and engage with people who have devoted their lives and their livelihoods to advancing the Second Amendment cause, I mean, I think that's a big deal, and it's about time that somebody had the guts to do it. Speaker 2 (7:01) Yeah, you're right about all of that. Justin, do you see the irony there as well, too? It's visible. Speaker 6 (7:10) Yeah, I mean, I guess I do. Speaker 2 (7:15) Guys, that's the irony we're talking about, the laughter. No, it's true. You know, Ryan, Justin's laughter is exactly how I feel about this. It is such a big deal. You know, I go back to SHOT Show's 26 years of going to SHOT Show. I'll be there again in January, 27 years. And look, let me put it this way. The last time, you know, director of the ATF, they have the ATF deals going on. You're an FFL. You know what I mean. You can go sit in with the ATF at the whatever, you know, forums that they put up there. They've been anti-gun forever in there, forever in there. I mean, this is just a it's it almost leaves a talk radio host speechless, which is. Kind of a problem. So Justin said it best with his laughter because that's that's the true sentiment. I feel that way, too. How about you as an FFL? Is it shock you as a board member and a speaker and a guest and a member? Come on. Speaker 1 (8:09) Well, it's starting to feel a little bit like a safe space. So I'm really excited about that. Now, look, you know, we've joked about this on the show for a number of years. What would it be like if government actually. did what it's supposed to do and protected our rights for so long. Yeah. We've been victims of a government that was finding every way possible to restrict our second amendment rights among others. Right. And now we've got agencies that are, they flip the script and they're out trying to figure out how to guarantee or protect, which is exactly what the constitution calls for. Exactly what the founders envisioned when they wrote this. wrote these documents and ratified them. It's ironic. And that's why it's hard to describe and why Justin's laughing. And I'm like, we're all laughing because the irony of this whole thing is this. We're now getting back to the founding principles, right? And that doesn't mean we trust government. It just means we're getting back to where we should be. Speaker 2 (9:12) Well, you know, I have said this on the program for years. I do not own any NFA items. There are reasons for that. I've not been friendly to the ATF over the years on this program. I was warned by legal counsel. Honestly, just stay away from it at this stage of the game. You don't
