Speaker 2 (0:29) Yeah, she was really good. Her voice has not changed. She still has that baby face. She still dances amazing. It was like going back in time, listening to her and watching her. Speaker 1 (0:40) I also thought the whole concert and the show was going back to the early 2000s. And even the dancers, they were pretending to be on the phone and arguing. It was just such a good show. Our seats were great. I made it up to the front. And her fans are just awesome. Like, they were all so nice. Speaker 2 (1:05) Yeah. Speaker 1 (1:06) And it was like we were all partying with each other. I Speaker 2 (1:08) know. They were really, they were getting into it, some of the fans. They were dancing and twerking. And it Speaker 1 (1:14) was Speaker 2 (1:15) funny. Speaker 1 (1:16) There was a lady on her computer. That was weird. Very strange. She Speaker 2 (1:21) was just sitting there. I don't know what she was doing. But they didn't kick her out. It's like a... The security came over to her. She got up, but then she came back. So I don't know. I don't know. It was very weird. Well, she came back without her computer. So maybe that was it. But how did she get in with it? They were checking our bags. They didn't want... That's what I don't understand. I don't know. Maybe she knew somebody. Speaker 1 (1:42) It was weird. But all in all, it was a great time. She performed all of her hits. And we didn't end up going on stage. But... Maya said, you know, she apologized for not singing Just Call My Name. The show did start late and she had to cut her set short. So she didn't get to sing all the songs that she had planned on. Speaker 2 (2:06) Yeah. Like she said, it was good we got to meet her after the show. She was so sweet. We met her father. He was even, he was so funny. He had us dying laughing. While we're waiting to meet her, he's keeping us entertained, you know. And she's such a daddy's girl. All she does is talk about her dad. And I love that. I love that she honors him. She respects him. She says most of her career is from him. Most of her talent is from watching him and him helping her. And that's a beautiful thing. He's Speaker 1 (2:36) the musician himself. Speaker 2 (2:38) Yes. Yep. He was in like R &B groups back in the Speaker 1 (2:42) day. So, you know, he knows what he's doing. Speaker 2 (2:45) And you can see it right there with her, the talent. And I found out that Maya is half Italian. So I was like, oh, my God. You know, I'm Italian. It's nice to see that in the star world. I feel like there's not a lot of Italian singers other than Lady Gaga. But I love Gwen Stefani, right? She's Italian. I Speaker 1 (3:01) have no idea. Speaker 2 (3:03) But, yes. I know Speaker 1 (3:05) Andrea Bocelli is. Speaker 2 (3:07) Yeah, well, he's an Italian opera singer. But I'm saying, like, mainstream celebs, you know, like, they're either Latina. For, like, the girls, like, the singers, they're either Latina. I don't know. But it was cool to see that she's half Italian. And Speaker 1 (3:21) she's from our area. Yeah. Speaker 2 (3:23) Which is Speaker 1 (3:23) really cool. How was your stay at Foxwoods? It Speaker 2 (3:27) was good. Our room was beautiful. We got in early. We were first shocked. The check-in, Shona texted me. She's like, check-in's not until 4. I'm like, what? like unheard of to me, but no, um, or five, right. It was at five. Yes. So that was insane. And dinner, our dinner reservations were at five 30. Sean's was at five. So that's crazy. But we got in like, if we would have went in soon as we got there, we probably could have gotten in at 11, but because we thought it was at five, we walked around, we ate lunch. And by the time we got there, it was like one or 1230. And they were like, yeah, they put us right in the room. Um, so that was nice. The room was nice. We had, like something funny happened my room overlooked the pool and i've been in that pool before it's really cool they have parties down there djs down there and there's some girls in that water in that pool i was like zooming in just to look at the pool and like i was putting it on my story like look how nice and all of a sudden my phone is zoomed in on this girl's butt like she's in a thong she's twerking and i'm like oh my god Speaker 1 (4:27) So you didn't even realize that? Speaker 2 (4:28) No. At first I was just, I was zooming in on the pool to share it with my friends and put in my story. Like, oh, look how cool the pool is. You know, everyone's dancing. There's a DJ there. And then when I like panned over, it got the girl standing right in front of the DJ. She had a thong bathing suit on and she was having the time of her life shaking her thing. She was dropping it low. She was hitting the water with it, making splashes. And then it went from, and I'm like, oh my God, look at her. Two went from one girl to six girls now all up there in thongs just twerking it and shaking it. And I'm like, oh, man, the way they were hitting the water. I made a joke. I'm like, I hope they wash their booty today before they got in that water because they're getting a bath right now. They're getting a bidet right now. Speaker 1 (5:14) Oh, Speaker 2 (5:14) my Speaker 1 (5:15) God. And Speaker 2 (5:15) people were laughing at me because I was filming. I sent it to my friends and they're like, look at the kind of wife you are because I'm the wife. I'm watching it. I'm not hating, but I'm like, oh, and I'm calling my husband over to watch with me. I was like, babe, babe, come here. You got to see this. Look, look. And he's like, well, I'm like, girls are dancing with their, you know, their
