Speaker 1 (0:00) Hey, Will here. A new season of Scary will start next month, but while we wait, I didn't want to leave you hanging, so please enjoy this exclusive Patreon episode that was released earlier this year. I hope you enjoy it. Hello and welcome back to another exclusive Scary episode. I have three listener experiences for you in this episode, so let's get into our first. Speaker 1 (0:58) I've had a few paranormal experiences that have either happened to me or to members of my family. They are pretty short, but they happened. And I want to be clear that these experiences have been confirmed by many adults in my family. When I was around two to four years old, we lived in an old house in the middle of a wooded area. Speaker 1 (1:27) My room was upstairs, but I apparently never slept in that room. I always slept in with my mom. I complained to them about an old man who would stand by my bed. And this old man would tell me he was angry because I had sleep problems. I would wake constantly at night. Speaker 1 (1:52) It turned out later that an old man had lived in this house before us. He had lived there alone and he had problems with alcohol. He also died in that house. When I was one and a half, my dad died. I want to make it clear that no one had told me what had happened or how he died and no adults had ever talked about it while I was there. Sometime later, one day I was sitting in the kitchen with my mother playing with a toy snowmobile. I kept crashing the snowmobile right into our refrigerator over and over again. And eventually my mother asked me to stop because I might break it. I then replied, No mommy, dad didn't break the snowmobile. The snowmobile broke dad. My father had passed away in a snowmobile accident, and I didn't find out about this until I was a lot older. The next experience didn't happen to me, it happened to my paternal grandmother. About a week after my father passed away, my grandmother was sitting in the living area of her house, when out of nowhere, the whole house started to smell like the fumes of a snowmobile and my father's aftershave. Speaker 1 (3:17) Neither my grandmother nor my grandfather drove or own a snowmobile. And what makes it even stranger is that they live in an area where you couldn't even drive one. Another time I was playing alone in my grandfather's office while my mother and grandparents were sitting in the kitchen. After a while they heard me talking to someone. But it wasn't in the way a child might talk while playing. They said it sounded more serious and sad, which was strange because I was only about three years old. Concerned, they went to check on me and found me sitting on the floor, completely alone. There were no toys around me. I was just sitting there talking. And when they asked me who I was talking to, the answer I gave them was... I'm talking to my dad about why he hasn't come home. The last experience happened when I was 15 years old. I had come home from school and was extremely tired, so I took a short nap. When I woke up, I could hear noise coming from my little brother's room. It sounded like he was playing in there and talking to his friends. I didn't really think much of it, and eventually went in to ask him if he knew when mom would be home. I opened his bedroom door, but found nobody in there. The TV wasn't on, there was no device on. There was nothing in that room that could have been making any noise. And when my mom came home, she had my little brother with her. She had just picked him up from school. And no one else had been at home. Thank you to Emilia for sending in our first paranormal experience. And now, let's get into our next. My experience started when my best friend and her son moved into a new home close to where I lived. Our sons are very close in age and we spent several days a week together so they could play and we could have a cuppa and some adult conversation.
