Speaker 4 (0:09) What's going on? Rob Sestrino back here for our exit interview number two for Survivor 51. What a wild episode it was last night of Survivor 51. Lots of fun stuff that I got into with Steven from all of the shenanigans at Tribal Council to everything else from a very fun episode two of season 51. And today we're going to talk to the woman who is blindsided at the last Tribal Council. It's Anahita even, if you will. And we're going to talk with her. And then by popular demand. the return of this week in Survivor history with Jordan Kalish, all right here on our exit interview. But I see that we have Anna here on the line. Let's go ahead and patch her in. All right. We are here with Anna Hita. Anna, how are you? Speaker 3 (1:04) Oh, you know. Speaker 3 (1:07) Going through the motions right now because that was a hard watch. Yeah. Speaker 4 (1:11) For me. Why was it so hard? Speaker 3 (1:14) Oh, because I'm a moron. Like a lot of the moves that I made were, it was me scrambling and just, I had to relive it again. That was tough, Rob. Like that out there, I was really trying my best to stay afloat because I had. I had heard that my name was kind of being tossed around. And so I was like, oh, shoot, the trust has been broken. What do I have to do to rebuild this trust? And after all, they didn't show this, but I had a ton of conversations with people trying to make amends, trying to fix things. And yeah, the decoy vote thing kind of solidified for me. Speaker 4 (1:53) Well, besides you, who was throwing your name out there? Speaker 3 (1:57) Yeah. Because I didn't hear Speaker 4 (2:01) anybody else throwing your name out there before that. Speaker 3 (2:04) No, they weren't. So what had happened was, if you rewatch the episode, Alexis was the one who brought up Sharonda to me. And she said, I think Sharonda's a threat. I was like, oh, okay, this girl wants to play. So I was like, yeah, Sharonda is very smart and I have a lot of respect for her. And then we talked about Linnea a little bit. And it was like, Linnea is strategic because she was being really, Linnea was being really quiet. So I was like, I think she's being strategic. Speaker 3 (2:33) After the whole popcorn convo, which was me trying to protect Carter for talking about Alexis, Alexis then goes to Sharonda and tells Sharonda that I was the one tossing out her name. But what wasn't shown was that Christian had heard this from Sharonda, came to me and had said, hey, people are saying that you and Sharonda have beef. And I was like, oh, well, the only person that I talked about Sharonda with was Alexis. So I pulled Alexis aside. And that's when I was like, okay, clearly there's been trust broken between us. So what do I have to do to fix it? And she was very honest with me. So I thought she was like, you're right. I did go and tell these people that you said this. And I was like. well, I want to work with you and I'm coming here telling you this. So can we work together and can we make it like, can we just do the easy vote? Or so I thought. Speaker 4 (3:35) The layup. Speaker 3 (3:36) Yeah. And she, yeah, she was like, yes, of course. But of course she, they had a plan in motion. They wanted me gone. Speaker 4 (3:44) You know, Anna, something that you were right about, popcorn is delicious. It's great. I love it. It's underrated. Then why were you thinking about it? I Speaker 3 (3:56) don't know. This was a dumb thing. I don't know. So Carter was talking about Alexis and then she walks in on that conversation. And the two of them, Carter and Christian next to me, silent. And I was like, oh my gosh, will I have to say something? I remember why I brought up popcorn. It's because Kristen was talking about popcorned coconut or coconut popcorn. So that was in my reign. And then I was, I just said, Popcorn and Alexis, the two of the boys were completely shook. I could feel their body go into a complete like. Speaker 4 (4:30) Yeah. Speaker 3 (4:32) And I just have to keep going. I Speaker 4 (4:33) liked that you talked about you like to get a large popcorn. And Carter said medium popcorn. Yes, that was Speaker 3 (4:39) an inside joke that we had. Yes, because he Speaker 4 (4:43) doesn't understand Speaker 3 (4:44) why I love a medium Domino's pizza. To me, a medium pizza is perfect because, you know, I'll eat it by myself. It's perfect. And he always is like medium. So stupid. You got to get a large. So when I said large popcorn, he was referring to that when he said medium. Speaker 4 (4:59) Yeah. Yeah. Tell me a little bit about this thing with Rob. Because I was thinking, if Rob only knew that you were on the hot seat, maybe he might have played his idol on you. Speaker 3 (5:11) Absolutely. Speaker 4 (5:12) Yeah. And Speaker 3 (5:13) that's what goes through my brain every night before bed. I'm like, I wish somebody told Rob about the plan because maybe he would have saved me. Speaker 4 (5:23) Yeah. Speaker 3 (5:24) But watching that back was wild. Like, Rob... I don't know what he was thinking. It was good effort. Good effort. Speaker 4 (5:32) Yeah. It seemed like that you and Carter spoke a lot. But it seemed like that Carter and Rob were also in the first episode talking a lot. Were you and Rob also talking a lot? Speaker 3 (5:46) Carter was definitely my number one out there. I talked to him the most because I trusted him through and through. Rob, I did trust, but I actually had. kind of a same relationship with Rob that I had with Kristen, that I had with Christian, and that I had with Alexis. I was kind of in the works with everybody, which is also why I felt confident going into the vote. Because I was like, okay, all these people who I feel confident with are telling me I'm going to be saved. That was another reason. I Speaker 4 (6:20) noticed in the episode that there was some jacket swapping going on with you and Ori. And I thought that maybe, is there a relationship there? Are you closer with Ori than we've seen on the show? Speaker 3 (6:32) Yeah. Ori and I have been friends for a long time. had a good relationship i wouldn't say we were close but he was feeling really cold after the challenge and i offered my jacket is your Speaker 4 (6:41) jacket it's Speaker 3 (6:42) my Speaker 4 (6:42) jacket i was saying like is that a men's jacket i'm not sure yeah no it was mine Speaker 3 (6:46) and it looked really good on him everyone was like oh you look sick and then it before tribal i Speaker 4 (6:54) didn't know you were the same size you two Speaker 3 (6:58) That was crazy. But yeah, he was like, can I keep this jacket? And I was like, yeah, for sure you can wear it. And it hurts because he knew I was going home about the fart. Speaker 4 (7:08) Yeah. Okay. Well, listen, jacket passing tends to be good luck for people. We just saw it in season 50. Tell me a little bit about this idea of, hey, I want to stir up some chaos in camp. Where did you come up with that? Speaker 3 (7:23) Yeah. I love playing games with a little bit of chaos energy because I feel like it can turn and change the game in a multitude of ways. Obviously, this wasn't the way that I intended to do it. I wanted to kind of lay low for a little bit and then start planting seeds. When Alexis came to me and dropped Sharonda's name, I was like, oh, this is a fun opportunity to just kind of go with her and see where she wants to go with this, not thinking she was going to go against me because she came to me with the idea. So that really took a turn for the worse for me. And once that happened and I heard that my name was... uh out with Sharonda I was like oh okay yeah I'm in trouble here I have to do something about this yeah Speaker 4 (8:05) tell me a little bit about Eric who we've seen so much and we've heard a lot of opinions about Eric what was it like having Eric in the tribe Speaker 3 (8:14) Eric is exactly what we see on camera he he was out there having a lot of fun and that is the number one
