Speaker 1 (0:03) What you will hear next is one of the most shocking stories we have told. It can also be more terrifying than most of our listeners can stand. Yes, even those who always listen to stories of the night. I'm going to ask you for a lot of prudence, a lot. The story you are going to hear is not just any story. As the title says, for me, it is the most macabre and shocking of this 2026, but maybe, maybe it is for a long time. You will have the best opinion, but let me tell you something. This, definitely, is not a story suitable for the smallest of the house. Do not listen to it close, please. Speaker 1 (1:02) I'm going to do a countdown before starting. If you're susceptible to suggestion, if you can be very afraid, which involves entire families, I ask you, please, not to listen to the next story. Look for other content. You have 10 seconds to do it. 7, 6, 5, 4, Speaker 1 (1:41) This that I'm going to tell you, to try to tell, happened in 2011. It started in 2011, for us at least. I was 25 years old at that time, and I had just married Magali, who was 35. She had two children that have since become mine, which are the most important thing in my life. The oldest was 12 years old at that time, Marco, and the youngest was only 4, Diego. Speaker 1 (2:15) I'm going to do my best to accommodate the story in my head. And it's still hard for me to tell it. Not because I don't remember what happened, on the contrary. I also remember that I feel that I relive it every time I talk about it. We lived in one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. I'm not going to say which one. It's a city that has a beautiful colonial center, with very old buildings, beautiful, churches, stone streets, hotels with a lot of history. But we didn't live near the center. We lived outside, in an area that at that time was still growing a lot. There were new fragments everywhere, and one of those was where we found the house. It was in a relatively small private, very quiet. It had its access controlled with remote control, and the houses were quite similar to each other. Some were inhabited, and others seemed empty, although the private was not new, nor of recent creation. Speaker 1 (3:26) But well, for us that was perfect because we had children and we wanted just that. A place where we could feel safe. And the house was big. It had two floors, four bedrooms, a backyard, a living room and next to the kitchen, a room that we ended up using as a television room. rent was not a scam. I also want to say that because later some people have asked me if we ever suspected the price. And no, the rent was within normal. It was a house that we could pay and it seemed to us that for the space and for the security of the private it was worth it. But there was something strange from the beginning, something that Magal and I took a long time to confess. Speaker 1 (4:18) The first time we went to see the house, we both had a very ugly feeling. I entered and immediately thought that I did not want to live there. So simple. The house was empty, clean, it had good light. I even remember that we walked through the rooms talking about where we were going to put our things. But I felt something. Like, I really wanted to get out of there. Like when you're afraid of heights and you find yourself on the roof of a building. And I didn't say anything because I saw Magali walking around the house and I thought she liked it. Besides, we had been looking for a long time and for one thing or another, none of us convinced us. So then I thought, I'm not going to ruin this for a sensation. Years later, Magali confessed to me that she thought exactly the same. So we went to sleep pretty late, and at some point in the morning, a noise woke me up. It was blows, as if someone was hammering. Constant blows, and then silence. And a moment later, again. Speaker 1 (6:18) I stayed listening for a while because at first I thought someone was doing something in the house, but obviously not. It was early in the morning, so I thought it could be a neighbor. The private was so quiet that any noise was heard a lot. Then I thought it was probably coming from some other house, and that because of the acoustics it seemed to be inside ours. I tried not to get bitter about it and ignore it. The problem was that it continued practically all night. I slept and that woke me up again. The next day I was upset. I even went out with the intention of finding out who it had been. Because one thing is that you are fixing something at home during the day, and another, very different, that you start hammering at 2 or 3 in the morning. Speaker 1 (7:17) But that's when I started to notice something I hadn't seen when we went to see the house. In the private, there was no one outside. And if I say it's nobody, it's really nobody. It's not that I'm exaggerating. I came from places where you always see someone washing their car, children playing, a lady barking outside their house, or someone taking out the dog. But not there. The doors were closed. The curtains were closed. There was no one talking outside. And in the afternoon I realized something else. As it started to darken, it got even weirder. Speaker 1 (8:03) A car came, they opened, they entered and closed, and that's it. Nothing else. People didn't stay out. It didn't even seem like they wanted to do it. In front of the entrance to the private there was a store, and that day I went to buy some things. The boy who attended me saw me and asked me, Did you just get there? I said yes. I even told him that it was very strange that there was never anyone outside my private. And I remember him saying something like, maybe they're still scared. I laughed, but I asked him, scared of what? What did he mean by that? He told me that he really didn't look good because he hadn't worked there yet when it happened, but that he had heard that one of the private houses had been a security house. I knew perfectly well what he meant. A place where they keep people kidnapped. Speaker 1 (9:12) according to what he had heard, they had even killed someone inside one of those houses. He told me that he had not seen anything personally, but he remembered that years before he had passed through that area and had seen many patrols. Apparently it had been a fairly well-known case among the people of the colony, although it had never come out in the news. Speaker 1 (9:39) I went back to my house quite discouraged, and I thought, I hope it's not this one. Please God, don't let it be this one. That was the first thing I thought, because I couldn't live quietly knowing that someone had been locked up there, that I had suffered there, but I didn't have any reason to think it was our house. It could be anyone, there were several voids, it could even be just a rumor, so I tried to forget it. That night the blows came back, this time look at the time, they passed two in the morning. I got up. Magali was asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. I went down the stairs and as I was going down I realized something. The knocks were clearly heard inside the house. It no longer seemed like they were coming from a neighbor. They came from the television room. That room we had next to the kitchen. I walked over there. The knocks continued. I opened. When I entered they shut up. I turned on the light. There was nothing. I checked behind the furniture, looked at the windows, I even moved some boxes thinking that maybe something was hitting the wall. Nothing. I stayed there a moment. There was only silence. I went up again, I went to bed, and when I was perhaps five minutes in bed ... Speaker 1 (11:43) I went down again, and the same thing happened again. As I walked towards the room, I could hear it, and as I entered, it stopped. That's how I was practically all night. There was a moment when I didn't even go down, I fell asleep thinking I was going crazy. Speaker 1 (12:08) During the following days we tried to adapt. We had too many things to do to obsess with some noises. We had to unpack still, set up the rooms, return to our routine. And for a moment, even if it was brief, that worked. Until one night when I woke up and saw Magali standing next to the window. Speaker 1 (12:34) I don't know what time it was. I got scared to see his figure there, in the middle of the night, in the dark. I asked him what was going on. Nothing. He replied. Then he returned to bed. I was too sleepy to ask him more. I settled down, and I was about to fall asleep again when I heard him say, There's a man down there, looking this way. Speaker 1 (13:08) There I woke up well. Without saying anything, I got up and went to the window. Our room was facing the backyard. And yes, there was someone there. There was a man standing in our backyard. In boxers. Only in boxers. That was the first thing that caught my attention because I thought it was one of the neighbors. That maybe he was drunk, drunk, I don't know. Speaker 1 (13:39) It was very dark. I couldn't see his face well, but he was looking directly at our window. And there was something very strange with his eyes. I only saw two dots of light, but not like when an animal sticks light in his eyes. They were just two bright dots. Nothing else. I told Magali to stay up and I went down.
