Just Speaker 3 (1:16) in case people don't know, Tuck tried to die on us about two Speaker 2 (1:19) months ago. Speaker 3 (1:19) Yeah, he tried Speaker 2 (1:19) to die. Speaker 4 (1:20) Tuck did so many good things, and then health and life just, like, like... It grabbed you. Man, it grabbed you. The Speaker 2 (1:28) last time we saw you was at the Beter Bash, which we'll talk about. We'll talk about that, too. Did you just go to the hospital one day, and they just found out you're... Well, Speaker 1 (1:38) what happened is a couple weeks after the Beter Bash, I went to one of my buddy's weddings. And I was getting a little bit. It felt like I was kind of constipated. I tried to take a kidney stone Speaker 2 (1:48) or constipated, Speaker 1 (1:49) like constipated right over here, right over there. And I couldn't, I got some little cat turds out and that was all well and good. But over the course of the next couple of days, it got worse and worse. And by a few days in, I want to say it was a Tuesday. Speaker 1 (2:08) I was really, I had taken Miralax a couple of times, didn't help. And then we did the suppositories and the enemas, and it just hurt like hell. It's never fun shoving shit up your own ass. An enema can turn into a group effort. It depends on who's done it. Speaker 1 (2:30) I couldn't get my bowels to move. You tried Speaker 4 (2:33) everything. Magnesium citrate or whatever. The whole shindig. It hurt so bad. Did you Speaker 2 (2:40) try jumping Speaker 3 (2:40) jacks? Speaker 4 (2:41) We tried Speaker 2 (2:41) everything. Speaker 4 (2:42) What Speaker 2 (2:43) was the breaking point for you? What made you finally go, all right, I got to go off? When I Speaker 1 (2:47) started getting a fever. Speaker 2 (2:48) Oh, yeah. Speaker 1 (2:49) When it hurt really bad. It felt like I'd been kicking the nuts. The pain would radiate down into the plums. Oh. Yeah, and then I started getting fever. And I went and they said I had a micro perforation, which real small one. And they tried to blast it with antibiotics and get it to heal on its own. And the next day it was. So what is that? What is that? Speaker 4 (3:07) It's like a tiny tag. Speaker 1 (3:08) Little hole in your colon. Yes. And then bacteria starts getting into your gut cavity. Speaker 2 (3:13) Where are they supposed to go? Oh, so you Speaker 3 (3:15) had an Speaker 2 (3:15) infection too. Did they also Speaker 3 (3:16) make you stop eating too? Antibiotics and no more food? I don't remember Speaker 1 (3:22) what my eating was like. Did I say what Speaker 2 (3:27) caused it or was it just something that happened? Speaker 1 (3:29) Diverticulosis is what caused mine. At first, I thought it was a log jam. And I said it was a log jam. But when they cut my colon out, there wasn't no log jam in there. When they cut that section out, it was just diverticulosis. So it was just that Speaker 4 (3:39) tiny hole that was causing all that pain. Speaker 1 (3:42) You get diverticulosis, which there ends up being these pockets in there. And then stuff will... waves down in them pockets yeah like a nut Speaker 3 (3:51) or something small get in the pocket and then cause infection and then and they're just damn Yeah. In the fictional burrow hole. We were Speaker 4 (3:58) talking about literally last night when Billy one time as a kid, he was like, I got real bad sick and I ate a bunch of suckers. Speaker 2 (4:04) I did. And they Speaker 4 (4:05) couldn't, he said that the doctor said that they couldn't understand why he got such a stomach infection. I went, what if you ate a sucker and it lightly cut you? Speaker 1 (4:14) Yeah. Speaker 2 (4:15) Your Speaker 4 (4:15) insides are very, very sensitive. Not to get off topic, Speaker 2 (4:18) I'll say it in like 15 seconds. I ate a whole bag of suckers, like a pound of suckers. And then the next day I woke up, my stomach was hurting so bad, like I was going to throw up. Didn't throw up. Went to the hospital. Got Speaker 3 (4:28) a Speaker 2 (4:28) fever. They said, yeah, I had a fever. And they said I had a terrible stomach infection. I didn't get to your level, by the way. Antibiotics fixed me. How in the Speaker 1 (4:36) hell do you eat an entire bag of suckers? Didn't that take like time? I was poor. Oh, shit. That was dinner. That's what made me Speaker 4 (4:44) think. I was like sharp object inside. Speaker 2 (4:46) It was the middle of the month. So, you know, food stamps were already gone. And Speaker 1 (4:50) I came back. It was close to Speaker 2 (4:51) Halloween. Yeah, I came back to a bag of suckers. And I was like. Calories. Speaker 1 (4:56) Calories. That's survival mode. See, Speaker 4 (4:58) I'm wondering how yours, like what initially did the little, like the little. So Speaker 2 (5:03) after they found out it was your colon, what did they do? Did they put you in the hospital? Speaker 1 (5:09) No, I went to the ER because we figured, you know, something's wrong. We need to get it looked at because there's Speaker 2 (5:14) a Speaker 1 (5:14) chance of diverticulitis. And then the fever started setting in. The second day, once they realized it was perforated, then they start. giving you the pain medicines. They asked me if I wanted pain medicine. I didn't have to ask. That's when you know it Speaker 4 (5:31) was bad. Speaker 1 (5:31) That's when you know something's severe. When they didn't have any problem with me wanting more, that's when I knew it was bad. The second day I started getting, the second day in the hospital, my fever got up to 103, and I was sweating a lot. So Speaker 2 (5:45) you stayed overnight in the hospital? Speaker 1 (5:46) Yeah. And then they run all the tests again. And then the doctor came in. He was like, we got a cut on you. And I was so damn high at that point. I was like, okay. Speaker 2 (5:54) Okay. Speaker 1 (5:55) And then. So what was that process like? Speaker 2 (5:58) Oh. Speaker 1 (5:59) I was. Man, it was weird. Like, I don't know if it was the drugs or it's just. It can't go that wrong. Right. But I didn't panic until like right before I went back to get cut on. No. Your pants, you started to like. Like Speaker 4 (6:16) reality Speaker 1 (6:16) set in. I was like, I could die. If this doesn't work, I do die. Speaker 4 (6:20) Yeah. You Speaker 1 (6:21) know what I mean? Like. The Speaker 4 (6:23) Grand Prix situation. The 103 Speaker 1 (6:25) degree fever is, was dangerous to a degree. Speaker 1 (6:31) And infection setting in fast. You know what I mean? I don't know what they do, but I've heard they cut your guts out and wash them in a bowl to get all the bacteria off. I don't know how they do it, but yeah. So they put me under anesthesia. So Speaker 2 (6:48) what was that? I've seen videos on the internet about anesthesia. How did it affect you? How did it affect you? I'll tell you how it affected me. Speaker 1 (6:57) Oh, well. Speaker 1 (6:59) Was it Speaker 3 (7:00) a Speaker 1 (7:00) dreamless sleep? It was just like that. The doctors and the anesthesiologists were really cool. Anytime a doctor or an anesthesiologist looks nervous, that makes me nervous. The anesthesiologist was just like, I'm going to be here with you the whole time. We're going to put you under. I'm going to give you this. It's going to blah, blah, blah. And I was like, okay. But once again, I had a little bit of Dilaudid up to this point. You know, but I remember. I was really suffering at this point. I was in a lot of pain in the midsection. Before the surgery or when you woke up? Before the surgery, yeah. And they gave me whatever, and I just kind of went out. It felt weird for a minute, but then I just went out. What Speaker 2 (7:49) do Speaker 1 (7:49) you Speaker 2 (7:49) mean it felt weird? Like you're just heavy? Speaker 1 (7:51) Well, I almost burned. I don't know if that's normal. I was Speaker 4 (7:55) wondering about that, too, with the anesthesia, because... You're already a large filler. Yeah. Speaker 3 (8:01) So I was thinking like. Speaker 4 (8:03) What's that like? The water Speaker 3 (8:04) buffalo dose. Yeah, like Speaker 4 (8:05) what's your dosage looking like? And then I was thinking, when you've got a history of drug use, they say that you can be resistant to certain things. Did you wake Speaker 1 (8:12) up confused? It took me a little bit to realize I had a catheter in. Speaker 2 (8:18) Listen, when they put me under anesthesia, I was in Fort Seal, Oklahoma, and I was having a surgery done on my mouth. And they had me on this table, and they said, we want you to count backwards from 10. I Speaker 1 (8:31) don't Speaker 2 (8:31) even remember counting. Speaker 1 (8:32) I Speaker 2 (8:32) came to walking. I was walking back to the barracks and I had something. He's already Speaker 4 (8:39) way away from where he was. Speaker 2 (8:41) I'm halfway back to the barracks and finally I was like. Oh, I'm piling in my body for a minute. Where am I at? And the guy that was taking care of me was like, we left. You didn't say anything when they discharged you. You stayed there for like four or five hours. And then we left. We're on the way back. It's like six o'clock. And I was like, what Speaker 3 (8:57) the hell? Speaker 1 (8:58) I've done that drinking. You're the ideal alien abductee. Speaker 2 (9:01) Yeah, I didn't know what the hell was going on. Did Speaker 3 (9:03) you Speaker 2 (9:03) feel Speaker 1 (9:04) probed? Speaker 2 (9:04) No, I almost got choked because I had galls all over my mouth. I didn't know. It took him Speaker 4 (9:09) that long to realize. When I got my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 19, I remember just like almost like when you're drunk and that social and all that filter just got lifted from me because I remember going out. I remember waking up with them in my mouth and going. Speaker 2 (9:24) So when you woke up, you weren't confused or you just took your minute to gather yourself? Speaker 1 (9:30) I don't know how many times I woke up before the time that I actually remember because they said they said that they were going to wake me up and make sure I was OK and then bring me back to the room. Speaker 4 (9:40) Yeah, I Speaker 1 (9:41) came to that. I remember in back in the room. So there may be some more stuff that I don't recall. There was a tube that went up my nose and then down and it went down into the stomach and it's just suctioning everything out. Your stomach has to be empty at all times. And then that would wiggle its way. But Speaker 2 (11:06) that felt weird when they pulled it. Speaker 1 (11:07) That Speaker 2 (11:07) sucked. Speaker 1 (11:08) And then it would wiggle its way out a little bit and you'd have to push it back in. The doctors would help me do that for a little bit. But then I got to the point where I was like, give me the damn thing. And I just wedge it and you could feel it go back down in there. But Speaker 2 (11:18) it Speaker 1 (11:18) was sucking the bile Speaker 2 (11:18) out. Speaker 1 (11:18) But that sucked when they pulled Speaker 3 (11:20) it Speaker 1 (11:20) out? Speaker 3 (11:20) It wasn't near as bad as the catheter. Speaker 2 (11:23) Oh. Oh, yeah. Speaker 1 (11:24) I'll kind of. It took me, I want to say, probably 10 minutes before I was like. is there a tube? Because I quit doing drugs altogether over a catheter. Like when I overdosed on the crystalline methamphetamine, that was the worst part of all that, was getting the catheter. I said, look, if there's a risk of catheter, I'll never do drugs again. And then I wake up and I'm like, there is a damn tube. Speaker 2 (11:48) But Speaker 1 (11:49) there was another like little drain thing here. Did you wake up in Speaker 2 (11:53) pain or was the pain? No, Speaker 1 (11:55) I heard him say the word fentanyl. They're like, we've given him blank, blank, blank. And when I heard fentanyl, I was like, I'm good. Like, they're going to, two weeks is a blur. Like, the first two weeks, because they'd give it to me, they'd give me Dilaudid, and then a couple hours later, I could have a couple of hydrocodones or Percocets. And then a couple hours later, I could have the Dilaudid. So it's like we were constantly leapfrogging awesome shit. Speaker 4 (12:21) It's a rotation of heavy pain medication. Speaker 1 (12:23) And I know Speaker 2 (12:24) you used to be hooked on, what was it you said, meth? Meth, Speaker 1 (12:28) yeah. Speaker 2 (12:28) So you took all that and didn't even. Speaker 1 (12:30) Well, that's all going up. Everything else, all them opiates is coming down. You know what I mean? It's not your bag. Speaker 4 (12:36) It's almost surprising to me that for like what you were thinking was constipation, you then get on stuff that heavily constipates you. Because what hydrocodone will bound you up. What did Speaker 2 (12:47) you think when you woke up? You weren't in pain. They had a bag on you. Yeah. I bet that felt weird. Speaker 1 (12:54) I didn't even care about anything from here down for a while because I was like, I don't even want to look at it. I don't Speaker 2 (12:59) want Speaker 1 (12:59) to know. You Speaker 2 (13:00) haven't taken a normal shit Speaker 1 (13:01) in quite a while. Correct. I haven't had swamp ass all summer. There's not been pee in my ass crack all summer long. Speaker 4 (13:07) I was going to say, I want to add my tidbit as to why I think those two weeks was a blur. I don't think it's just the medicine. I think it's also your brain just going, I just went through a traumatic. Yeah, it's Speaker 2 (13:18) got Speaker 4 (13:18) to be like Speaker 2 (13:18) a stress punch to the nervous. Because last thing Speaker 4 (13:21) you thought of is, I might die. So your body was just like, we're going to just shut off everything.
