Speaker 3 (0:01) Did you ever think you would make it? I said I'm so close I could take sweet victory You know this life meant for me Adam, Speaker 1 (0:10) what's your point? The future Speaker 3 (0:12) looks bright The handshake is better than anything I ever signed, right here Speaker 1 (0:18) You Speaker 3 (0:18) are a Speaker 1 (0:18) one-on-one? My Speaker 8 (0:19) son's right there. Speaker 3 (0:20) I don't think I've ever said this before. Speaker 5 (0:26) So this is an inmate survives execution. What a story, by the way. We're last minute preparing all the stories. Tom, so you're talking about Diddy because I don't even want to get into it. Don't even get into the Speaker 4 (0:38) name of the place. Speaker 5 (0:38) We had a Diddy party many, many years ago. I think it's cool where he's staying. Speaker 4 (0:42) But Speaker 5 (0:42) obviously some interesting stories to cover here. Speaker 1 (0:50) MLB, this guy, Pine Tar, Sonny Gray, and then you got the other story, Peyton Tolley. Phenomenal story. You're so pretty. We have to play that for you to know how phenomenal of a story that is. But Major League Baseball, apparently during the playoffs, there's this thing called playoffs, and they're all fighting for this thing called the World Series. And there's this one company in the Major League Baseball that spends billions of dollars that is causing a potential strike to come around the corner named Dodgers, I think is what they call them. And they're going to be playing the Braves, right? The Yankees will be playing. It's all our fault. The Yankees are playing. The Yankees are Speaker 7 (1:24) playing. Who are the Yankees playing, Todd? The Tampa Bay Ravens. The Yankees are going to Tampa Bay. This will be the series of the playoffs right now. It's Speaker 6 (1:31) a Speaker 7 (1:31) big series. Chicago White Sox against Cleveland, I believe. Correct. And then the other one is San Diego is going against? Milwaukee. Milwaukee. A hot San Diego going up to Milwaukee with Speaker 6 (1:40) all that talent. So who Speaker 5 (1:41) do you not want to face? Milwaukee or San Diego? Who do you not want to face? Speaker 6 (1:45) You know what? A hot San Diego team is very hard to face. Scary, yeah. But they're thin in their pitching. Physically? No, they're thin in pitching. Speaker 7 (1:52) And Speaker 6 (1:52) so I would take them over Milwaukee. Milwaukee's got more talent. Speaker 7 (1:55) All right. So then we have jobs. Never won a World Series. Oh, wow. Even with Robin Yount and all those guys. Never won a World Speaker 6 (2:01) Series. And one other thing, Dodgers swept them in the NLCS last year. So they got a Speaker 1 (2:06) chip. I got it. So jobs report we'll get into, Vinny, when you have the numbers Speaker 5 (2:10) ready. Just give it to us on what's going on with the jobs report. It's generating right now. What is this Speaker 1 (2:13) story about, this pilot? Speaker 1 (2:17) 14,000 feet drops, nosedive in 30 seconds, where the guy, based on a TV show he watched, he got in there and saved the folks. And this is almost like, and then all of a sudden he gets off, he goes, BBC and him, people are saying this was a setup to get sympathy and sympathize. This is not a real thing. It's from Speaker 4 (2:34) a Speaker 1 (2:34) TV show. It was a show. That has really happened. And CNN did a simulate, you know, like, hey. This is kind of what it would look like. I don't know if we have the video or not. Yes, we'll have the pilot. And then there's this other, the Cornell rape case that came up, which is very weird. So at first, this girl allegedly, well, not allegedly, she allegedly snorted cocaine off of a guy's dangling. Yes. Speaker 7 (2:57) Right? It was a bump. It was a bump. It Speaker 4 (3:02) was quick. Speaker 7 (3:02) So she gets this. Nothing to see here. And then. She texts one of the guys that she had Speaker 5 (3:08) hooked up with with two other guys. And then she texts the guy and says, hey, I really enjoyed it. Then a few months later, she realizes she can no longer be invited back to the parties because she was a, you know what? Speaker 4 (3:22) Labeled. Speaker 5 (3:22) Yeah. And then she then decides to go out there and say she was raped. And this story is a massive story. All these guys are getting caught up. It reminds me of the allegations, Tom, in the past when was it Pence? I don't know which one it was. It was. The players that were stuck in this rape allegation, athletes that ruled their Speaker 8 (3:39) careers. Speaker 5 (3:39) Oh, wait a minute. You're talking Speaker 6 (3:40) about the Duke lacrosse team with the crooked district attorney. It Speaker 7 (3:44) reminds me that they're trying to just throw these guys under the bus. So we'll go into that case, definitely. Many people wrote checks to the Duke lacrosse player. Speaker 1 (3:52) Listen, and then we have the other story, which is kind of weird. There's Krista Pike, P-I-K-E, Pike, in Tennessee. She is... being executed because she's on death penalty. First time they fail, second time they fail. Now people are saying, wait a minute, what's going to happen with this girl? Are they going to be able to do it again? And then this has happened, and second time they've had a failed execution in the same year, in the same state. Tennessee. They're horrible at killing, you know, people, and now people are sympathizing and saying, my God, why, you know, this poor girl, if you're going to kill her, don't kill her like this, like kill her. But then they forget. Vinny's telling me the story of... how her and her boyfriend, she had a problem with this other girl. They go take her out with a rock, apparently. They hit the head. And then she keeps a piece of the girl's skull and brags about it to her friends. These are the types of friends you don't want in life, Adam. Speaker 5 (4:47) True advice. Friends like these, Pat. Yeah, so that's now a story. We'll get into it. Some are saying, hey, we got to bring back. you know, the, the, what do you call it? The, the, the electric chair. And this is all happening during the year where the governors are debating to become the governor. Cause it's like open season right now. So it's become a topic of discussion. We'll talk about, uh, uh, that. And then, um, Speaker 1 (5:07) heating oil. If you're an East coast, Speaker 6 (5:10) if Speaker 1 (5:11) you're an East coast, you know, Tom was talking about this. Tom's been whispering to people saying, Hey, even here, every time we turn on the heater, it says, turn it off. We got to save it for, you know, winter's coming, but all jokes aside. You know, apparently it is so cold in the East Coast that even the starting pitcher for the Boston Red Sox had to use pine tar. Yeah. Because the ball was so cold that he had to use pine tar to try to beat the Yankees to kind of be able to have a little bit more velocity, which, you know, some people that play in prison. Slider spin. Yeah, slider spin. And he had it that night. But the reality of it is, if this thing goes in the direction that it does. That whole statement of Speaker 5 (5:49) winter is coming, it could be coming to certain states. And when it does, it could be problematic. We'll cover that as well. I know we talk about a lot of diesel. We talk about gasoline. But this is a completely different conversation. We'll have that as well. And then there's this actress that we just have to play this video for you. We don't want to do it. There's this actress that says, I wish my son was... She's saying that her son was gay. And she was disappointed. that her son didn't want to, and you just have to watch this video. What Speaker 1 (6:17) a Speaker 5 (6:17) disappointing son. You would think if this is an act or not, you know, this girl right here, I don't, what's Speaker 1 (6:22) her Speaker 5 (6:22) name by the way, Cameron Manheim? Speaker 1 (6:24) Nobody Speaker 5 (6:24) knows. Yeah, so anyways, we'll watch this as well. Maybe you agree, maybe Speaker 1 (6:27) you don't agree. Speaker 1 (6:30) And then we got a couple other stories we'll get into outside of that. There's a story about childless adults are spending more money on toys than parents. Let me say that one more time. Childless adults, these are people that don't have kids, are spending more money for toys for themselves. Not adult toys like you go to, you know, triple X toy stores and you got certain toys. Not handcuffs, stuff like that. We're talking about Toys R Us type of toys. So childless people that don't want to have kids, they want to buy toys. So you know who's making a comeback? Toys R Us is making a comeback. Speaker 2 (7:03) They're Speaker 1 (7:03) coming back. Just for these guys because they want to buy toys. You didn't know that? They're making a comeback. And then MLB rises for attendance four years straight to 71.75 million, according to ABC News. Exciting stuff that's going on there. And the Astros. We'll cover these sports stories at the end for some of you guys that want to hear this. The Astros Speaker 7 (7:25) had 7,000 empty seats in a playoff Speaker 1 (7:27) game. Playoff? Playoffs! Nine games at home they've lost, and the fans are furious booing them. They barely made Speaker 5 (7:37) the playoffs with 81-81, best record, and they were 500 after 162 games, and fans are pissed off. We'll cover that. Should be. They should be, yeah. With that being said... We got a special announcement for you if you notice why I'm wearing the jacket here. This beautiful jacket that on the back it says, Faith Over Fear. I want my friend to my left. Your right, Vincent Oshana, to tell you about this jacket. Thank Speaker 4 (7:59) you, Pat. So guys, we had this jacket for Insiders Only at the Vault, and they were sold. I think they sold in two days. I called you. I'm like, Vinny, let's go have lunch. You're like, Speaker 1 (8:10) Pat, I can't. Everybody wants this jacket. Speaker 4 (8:11) Everybody was buying this jacket. So I want to let you guys know the front of it has our crest. We have the Lion Crest here as well. And on the back, guys, like our hats say Faith Over Fear. This is kind of small. This is letting people know right off the jump. Faith Over Fear is on the back. That's sick. Isn't that ridiculous? With Hebrews 11.1 on the back, the inside of the jacket. It has all of our, all of our, uh, I'm telling you right now, how warm is it? We're talking about winter. Be, be real. It's freaking warm in this thing. I love it. So guys, and everybody was asking. So, and I'm telling you guys right now, limited supply. We only have a hundred, a hundred, and they're going to go like that. A guy came up to you. What did he, an atheist? I'm, I'm, I'm outside. Adam's inside the store talking to people, taking photos. A guy goes out to run the Jack. He's like, Vinny. Oh my God. He goes, listen, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm not a big believer. I believe in some spiritual something. I'm basically an atheist, but I have to rock the jacket because I love how it looks. An atheist bought this jacket, and Adam was there. Adam's my witness. So anyway, guys, go right now to FLB.com and get yours. I'm almost positive this is going to be gone by the time the show's over. And Speaker 1 (9:17) by the way, if you do it right, get the hat and the shirt with it to have the entire combination. The white shirt that goes with it and kind of like Vinny right now, the white shirt. the jacket and the hat, go to FLB.com. Less than 100 of these jackets left, especially by sizes. All right, with that being said, let's get right into it. Tom, the first thing I want to talk about is jobs reports. So last month, you were a little bit pissed off because Kevin Walsh comes out and he raises the rates, and you were furious. We had to kind of calm you down. We got you cups of coffee. We got you all this stuff to come. We brought you different bottles of wine. But Tom's like, Walsh made a mistake. He shouldn't have raised the rates because you just don't do that, right? Anyways, then the report comes out today and inflation. Speaker 5 (9:59) Tom, why don't you tell the audience what happened with inflation going up? And I know you have your opinions on it and we'll hash it out here together, but go for it. Speaker 6 (10:05) Okay, just from the last hour, so what we're talking about, you may see headlines, America, in the last hour. The jobs report was expected to be about 85,000, 89,000. And they also expected inflation to be about 4.1%. This report comes out every month. And here we are, September 2nd. So here comes the reports for October 2nd. Excuse me. It's October 2nd. Here comes the report for September. It comes out and it was 29,000 jobs, not 85, 89. So that's 60,000 less means jobs Speaker 8 (10:37) cooling. And they said unemployment went from 4.1, where it had been for a couple months, I think three months in a row it's been 4.1, it went to 4.2. That's a Speaker 6 (10:47) very minor uptick. Unemployment went from 4 Speaker 5 (10:49) .1. Speaker 6 (10:49) Unemployment, right. Speaker 1 (10:50) So inflation went what? What direction did inflation go? I think you're talking about inflation. Speaker 8 (10:53) No, no, the unemployment went from 4.1 to 4.2. Speaker 1 (10:56) So Speaker 8 (10:56) those two things were in the jobs report. And so everyone was cheering this morning because what this means is that the Fed had said they were going to raise rates in October. And by the way, You know, the Fed meeting was actually three weeks ago that I was so upset. And now the next Fed meeting is like right in front of us, Pat. It's October 28th, 29th. So it's coming up quick in exactly four weeks. And so this morning, the bonds went down and the market went up in response to this. People are saying this now puts pressure on the Fed to not raise rates again because they Speaker 6 (11:32) said they're going to raise them in October. And I don't think you should have raised them last time. But this data says don't do it again. And there's a lot of people, including me, that are happy about this. Speaker 5 (11:41) Yeah, and this now gives you the moral authority to push on Warsh and say, look, if unemployment is going in this direction now, now you've got to lower the rates. Because his argument was inflation, right? Because I think inflation went up. Correct. It rose 0.2 % for the month. and 3 % year over year, and that's his biggest trigger, Tom, Speaker 8 (12:00) if I'm Speaker 5 (12:00) not Speaker 8 (12:00) mistaken. But people like me are fighting on that. I know. I say it's because of diesel. The diesel that's $6.50. By the way, over the weekend, it was $8.05. I double-checked. In California, they have those extra taxes. It was $8.05 diesel. So to deliver Amazon, to take strawberries from the field to the market, anything that diesel does, it... inflates the price in our economy. But it's not sector inflation. It's a shock of oil and the supply. So I call that not real inflation because as soon as you can get diesel back down, everything else comes back down. And Warsh looked at it and said it was full inflation. There's my debate on inflation. Speaker 1 (12:37) Okay, Adam, your thoughts on this? Speaker 2 (12:38) Well, look, I just want to compare the United States' unemployment rate to the rest of the world because sometimes it'll give you just context as to how are we doing because I actually believe that the economy is pretty stable. And especially regarding compared to other countries all around the world. So let me give you this. So United States unemployment rate is around 4%, give or take, right? We're not getting to 4.1%. 4 Speaker 6 (13:01) .2, they say. Speaker 2 (13:02) So here's compared to other countries around the world. Just a little context right here. You ready? Australia, 4.6%. United Kingdom, 5%. India, 5%. Brazil, 5.3%. China, if you even believe their numbers. 5.4%. Canada, who's, you know, going to F around and find out with America with their little trade tiff, 6.5%. Turkey, the great Ottoman Empire out there, almost 8%. France, 8%. Woke and weird out there. South Africa, when we're talking G20 countries, 33%. So there's very few countries. Mexico, 3%. and Germany, 4%, that are even on America's level. So let's give some context here. America's doing pretty damn good compared to all the major G20 countries around the world. Speaker 5 (13:52) But, you know, the average person's going to sit there and say, but we're America. It's not just about we're doing better than them. We're the greatest country in the world. We have to be crushing it better than everybody else. That Speaker 2 (14:01) doesn't Speaker 5 (14:01) mean Speaker 2 (14:01) we're not immune from situations. Speaker 5 (14:03) Sure, sure. But what I'm telling you is a lot of folks are going to sit there and say, hey. That's not us. We got to do better. And some people are still feeling what's going on today in the marketplace. How long that lasts, who knows? But I'm convinced, Tom, I don't think they'll be raising rates in the next time around when it comes back, Tom. I think it's going to be a flat. I don't think they'll, Tom, are you listening, Tom? I'm looking at you. So they're not going to be raising rates. I know you're watching the content as well. I don't think they'll raise the rates next time. I think they'll stay flat with us next time. Speaker 1 (14:32) I think it'll be a... decision that you see numbers like this gives favor to guys like you to say, now pump the brakes. Now, here's a question. What's the likelihood you think he'll lower the rates next time? Speaker 6 (14:46) Not great because the jobs report has happened now and the meeting is on the 28th, 29th of October, and we don't have any major reports coming out. So unless someone like an auto industry has three big companies make layoff reports in the month of October, he doesn't have the data. that would push him to lower it. He only has, you know, you know, people like me pushing, you know, hard and Dr. J strategy pushing hard, you know, on this side of it. There's not too hard time. No, no, but there's no data. The next jobs report doesn't come out for October, like November 4th. I'll give you a little, so Pat, that's Speaker 2 (15:25) the Speaker 6 (15:25) answer. I don't think, I think he could keep flat. He'll be forced to, but I don't Speaker 2 (15:29) think Speaker 6 (15:29) he can Speaker 2 (15:30) go down. There's something called the CME Fed Watch that agrees with basically what you're saying. They're basically saying the next time that there's a Fed meeting, the odds are, if you look at Calchi as well, they're going to skip an increase in October, so keep things stable. And then in December, there's a 60 % probability of a potential rate hike. So brace for impact. Winter is coming. Just shout out to Vinny. Rates may go up by the end of the year again. Speaker 1 (15:56) Again, they may go up. Speaker 2 (15:57) That's what they're saying. 60 % chance in December. Speaker 1 (15:59) 60 % in December. Okay, we'll see. We'll see what's going to happen. Next story here. Adam really wanted to cover this story. It's Speaker 2 (16:05) a Speaker 1 (16:05) big story. It's a top story. Everybody's talking about this. And that is what happened with the flight, the Dubai flight. Okay, so fly Dubai flight passenger. Details treating wounded pilot after tying up suspect. Do you have a video on this? Do we have anything to show people with this? Because here's what we're learning about the flight Dubai co-pilot who allegedly stabbed the captain and tried to crash. The plane. Let me read this to you. One day after flight, Dubai copilot made a violent attempt to crash the passenger aircraft and was subdued by passengers and other crew members. Questions about his identity and motive continue to swirl Thursday. By the way, this is 14,000 Speaker 5 (16:42) feet. Vinny said nosedive 30 seconds. Speaker 4 (16:46) Is Speaker 5 (16:46) this the Speaker 7 (16:47) clip? Okay, can you show what happened so that people realize? Is this showing pretty much what the Speaker 4 (16:52) flight was? It's going down. That 14,000? And then takes a right turn. And then it comes back up. Is Speaker 5 (17:01) this Speaker 4 (17:01) the CNN? Well, there's a pilot that's saying it's insane. You know how, Pat, when I say miracle. This Speaker 5 (17:06) is the Speaker 4 (17:06) pilot. This is the pilot saying that this is almost impossible. Go for it. Speaker 3 (17:10) Just coming into about 500 knots. Speaker 4 (17:13) So Speaker 3 (17:13) some of the numbers that we're seeing from the reporting initially are. Can Speaker 4 (17:17) you guys hear? They don't make sense to me Speaker 3 (17:19) because if you're descending that rapidly, the aircraft would have disintegrated completely. So the numbers will change when we get to the preliminary report. Oh, that's interesting because that those I mean, as you point out, those are only the numbers that we have right now. But interesting that you said that that could have caused it to break apart. And that maybe some of those are a little higher than actually happened. We do know there was damage on the rudder, right, from whatever the speeds actually will turn out to be. And portions of it apparently tore away during flight. Now, obviously, with serious damage to the rudder, a plane's going to crash. So when you just look at what we know here, how fortunate do you think it is that this plane was actually even able to safely land? Speaker 3 (17:55) Well, when I saw the images of the aircraft on the ground with the rudder section torn out, I immediately had a cold chill because the amount of damage that that would cause hydraulic systems, electrical systems, especially hydraulics. Once you start ripping apart electronics, you start to bleed electronic fuel. hydraulic fuel. Speaker 1 (18:19) Excuse me, I'll get my words right here. The flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was approaching Israel when the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the flight captain and attempted to crash the aircraft. Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Asad, the captain, fought off the co-pilot long enough to unlock the cockpit door. Passengers then overpowered the co-pilot and two off-duty pilots gained control and made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. There are 174 people aboard. No passenger was seriously injured. The pilot sustained stab wounds and Omani Official confirmed to CBS News that the attacker was born in Oman and holds Omani citizenship. The BB speculated the incident looked like a suicide attempt and the personnel information gathered during the questioning had led Israel to conclude that the co-pilot underwent Islamic radical indoctrination. President Trump suggested the co-pilot may have been linked to Speaker 5 (19:05) Iran. Based on what I'm hearing, Saudi Arabia said Thursday the co-pilot had been transferred to the UAE. Adam, thoughts on the story? Pat, Speaker 2 (19:11) the story is crazy. I mean, are you kidding me? And it hits very close to home. Because I was just in Tel Aviv. And when I was in Tel Aviv, they're like, do you want to go to Dubai? I was like, I don't know if I have enough time. But this story is straight out of a movie. What just happened? Speaker 1 (19:25) Yeah, the pilots can be seen. This Speaker 2 (19:27) story in Israel and Dubai is straight out of a movie. Straight out of Dubai. And to me, there's a couple different stories here. Number one, it's a story of culture. Here you have a radicalism versus heroism. You have some guy that somehow, not a... 25 years after 9-11, are you telling me the terrorists are not hijacking the plane? They're in the cockpit now? That's what's going on? That's the world we're living in right now? And then the second part of the story is heroism. We can focus all day on the Islamist. I guarantee you, shout out the famous two words, before you try to take this plane down, I'll guarantee you that. But I want to focus on the heroism. First and foremost, this Indian captain, Smith, are you kidding me? flying the plane, all of a sudden gets stabbed. Next thing you know, he's trying to fight for his life, opens the cockpit door. You picked the wrong plane, Allah Akbar, buddy. You picked a plane full of badass Israelis. Next thing you know, a plumber shows up. Not a military guy, not a captain. A plumber, straight out of Don't Mess With The Zohan, shows up like Scrappy Coco, making things silky smooth, subdues. The hijacker whips him up, puts the cord around him from his headphones, ties him up. Plane is plummeting. He saves the day. Next thing you know, they avoid another 9-11 style attack one week before October 7th. And then he shows up to Bibi Netanyahu's office. Bibi goes, how did you do this? He goes. Yeah, I watch TV show. It's called the plane crash investigations. This is how I learned from. Are you kidding me? Some plumber shows up, saves the day. Next thing you know, a dentist, don't call me not a doctor, a dentist bandages up the captain, saves his life. He's fighting for his life, this Indian captain. This story could have ended so much uglier. We don't know the motive Speaker 5 (21:24) yet. Well, I mean, we kind of know the motive. I'm being serious. Do we know the motive? Well, I'll Speaker 2 (21:30) tell Speaker 5 (21:30) you this. Speaker 2 (21:30) I'll let you figure this out. One story is basically saying a radical jihadist pilot took over the plane and wanted to Allah Akbar things. And then you have the mainstream media basically saying an altercation. Speaker 1 (21:43) What Speaker 5 (21:43) I'm asking you Speaker 1 (21:43) is, are there any Speaker 5 (21:44) passengers that said they heard or saw anything? What I'm interested in is what did the 174 passengers say they saw? Did they say they heard anything? Speaker 2 (21:53) They didn't hear anything? Several passengers Speaker 5 (21:54) said they heard screaming and shouting from the cockpit while the aircraft was diving. One passenger's wife, who was near the front with their daughter, reportedly heard a struggle just before the wounded captain came through the cockpit doorway. When passengers rushed through, they said they saw the captain badly injured and bleeding lying near the cockpit entrance. A dentist on board said the captain was in real bad shape with heavy bleeding, especially from the head. The co-pilot near the controls apparently trying to interfere. with or damaged the flight controls. Passenger Yaniv Huyan. That's the plumber. Okay, said there was no pilot sitting normally in either seat when he entered. Passengers physically dragging the co-pilot out of the cockpit and restraining him in the cabin. Some accounts say they eventually tied him with corded headphones. One passenger, Hayun, then jumped back into the cockpit, pulling the controls in an effort. A regular person jumps Speaker 2 (22:47) in and drives the Speaker 5 (22:47) police. Speaker 2 (22:48) Can I just explain something to you? These are all regular people. And I want to give a shout out to the Israelis out there. Every single Israeli has to go to the IDF, has to go to the military for two years, and then they go live their normal life. When you're walking around Israel, the plumber, he was in the military. The architect was in the military. The dentist was in the military. They are born and bred to deal with radical Islamists. on an everyday basis. So the plumbers stay ready. You know how they say, stay ready so you don't have to get ready? This guy picked the wrong freaking plane. Any other plane, this guy would Speaker 7 (23:24) have- Speaker 2 (23:24) And Speaker 7 (23:24) we know nothing about Speaker 2 (23:24) the guy that stabbed him. We know nothing about the guy that stabbed him. Speaker 5 (23:27) We know that he's a Speaker 2 (23:27) citizen of Oman, and all we know, they have not released his name. When they tied him up- His name, age, photograph has not been released. I don't know what's going on. They're the people of Saudi and the people Speaker 6 (23:36) of Emirates. Pat, Speaker 2 (23:36) you're asking a question. Speaker 6 (23:38) You're asking a- Speaker 2 (23:39) He was just yelling one thing. After they tied him up, you know what he was yelling? Kill me, please. Kill me, please. I want to die. Who did he say that? Who heard him say that? That's Speaker 1 (23:49) what Speaker 2 (23:49) the passengers were basically saying. Moussa, who was the dentist, said he and another passenger then tied the suspect's hands with the headphones. The suspect said fewer words other than he was from Oman. And he told them, kill me, kill me, please. That's what they're dealing with. Speaker 5 (24:06) Yeah, one report says a fellow pilot described him as having joined FlyDubai only about eight months earlier and being unusually religious, including frequent prayer and avoiding handshakes with women. Okay, this is the kind of stuff I want to know. And that's from the Indian Express. Those details come from secondary reporting and have not been publicly confirmed by FlyDubai. Some reports say pro-Palestinian, free Palestine material was found among his belongings. But that claim is not yet confirmed by UAE authorities. And so far, investigators have not established an Iranian connection, which is what the president said, or evidence that he was acting on behalf. Speaker 1 (24:45) of a foreign government. Israeli security has reportedly leaned toward him acting alone on stage. And after the plane landed, he received metal treatment when he was detained. He was subsequently transferred to Abu Dhabi, UAE. So they got to find out. The question is how quickly they're going to report on this. Vinny, what are you Speaker 4 (25:02) up with? Speaker 1 (25:02) Can you guys hear me? No, I can hear you. Speaker 4 (25:04) Nothing. I mean, it's a miracle. And Adam made a great point. It's like if you're ready and you're always ready, you don't have to get ready. And the fact that, like, think about this. First of all, What about security? How in God's name did this guy bring a knife? Everybody has to go through metal detectors. I don't care who you are. I don't know how they do it over there. Everybody has to get checked. Everybody has to go through screening to get on there. Not only did he bring a knife on there, but you understand how much you have to be fighting to get that guy off and then to open the door. You have to open the door or else it's going down. And that CNN simulator guy said the majority of the time when this happens, they're all going to die. You're all going to die. Everybody's going down. So he fought. He got them out there. You can't ask for like, the scenario is, Pat, almost 99 % of the time, they're going to Speaker 7 (25:52) all die. You know what's crazy? Let me tell you. I interviewed Jacob Coxon yesterday. You guys know who he is? Yeah, Speaker 5 (25:57) of course. Jacob Coxon is the guy. AI guy. This is the first long-form podcast he did. I can't wait for the audience. This is the first long-form podcast he did. The AI guy that left Anthropic, and he was at OpenAI for three years. Came in yesterday. We did a two and a half hour, two hour podcast, which I can't wait for the audience to see. One of the questions I asked them, because, you know, they're like, well, he's tied to Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton and that Newspeak, which was an organization of commies and socialists. And he gives his answer Speaker 1 (26:25) about what that is. But the one part I said, you know, are you a climate change person? You know, you're young, so typically it's the end of the world, you know, all these things. He says, I'm not. He answers it himself. You'll see it. But the one thing he said, I said, some say, you know, if we don't build it, China will. Okay? He says, that's the wrong mentality. Look what he said. Look what he said. He says, Patrick, we know. China has spies working at Anthropic and OpenAI that if they wanted to, they can take that technology and ship it off to China. The way they do it is they send Chinese nationals to work at Anthropic and OpenAI, and then they're reporting back to China. So in the middle of the interview, we go and we start searching to see how many Chinese nationals are at the higher level executives. And I ask him names, you know, who he thought. You have to hear what he says, his answers. Speaker 5 (27:17) Again, it comes out on Tuesday. But let me tell you what his answer was. This is the one part I'll reveal to the audience. He specifically said, I have a lot of friends that work at Anthropic, and they're going to be upset with me. He says, Speaker 1 (27:27) just like a foreign national cannot work for SpaceX, a Chinese national cannot work for SpaceX, but they can work for Anthropic, and they can work for, what do you call it, OpenAI. Speaker 5 (27:40) So he says, I think as much as some of my friends are going to be not happy with me, I don't think Chinese nationals should work. for anthropic and open AI. I Speaker 1 (27:48) fully Speaker 5 (27:48) agree. But here's where I'm going to. So the part where I'm going to with this pilot stuff is, I don't know what fly Dubai's, I don't know what some of these guys are doing. I mean, listen, man, if you're flying a plane, some people may be sitting there saying, I need to know who the pilot is. Of Speaker 2 (28:04) course. Speaker 5 (28:04) As a passenger, do you think we have the right to know who the pilots are? Yes. Do you think it needs to, do you, and I'm being honest with you, like remember one time we got on a flight and October 7th happened? It was the next day. Do you remember that flight? I don't know if you remember this or not. We're going to, on a flight, Speaker 1 (28:19) I think the moment I tell you, Vinny, you'll remember this. You were on the flight as well. We're going on a flight. The pilot has flown me quite a few times. I like this guy. Late 20s, early 30-year-old Jewish guy. Former IDF. He comes in, and he is shook up. Like when I tell you shook up. Speaker 7 (28:41) You can tell he hasn't slept at all. It's the next day. Now I know exactly what you're talking about. It's the next day, and I'm like, Speaker 1 (28:47) how you doing? He says, not good. I said, how you feeling right now? He says, the only thing on my mind is I want to go back to Israel and fight for my country. So then I got on the fight, and I'm like, oh, shit. Then I had to go find out who the co-pilot was. By the way, I love this guy. He's a great guy. I had to go and say, let me see who the co-pilot is because this guy is a little bit off. He's not in the right place. So then I went and met the co-pilot. I'm like, okay, at least this guy is going to be good. That's helping him out. The entire flight, I was concerned because he was in a place. Naturally, you can't blame the guy where he's at. Crazy. When I hear stories like this, part of it to me as a passenger is going to be like, look, I need to know a report of who the pilot is before I get on the flight. Okay, here's who the pilots are. Boom, boom, boom. You know, like if you're going to, who's Speaker 5 (29:34) the Speaker 1 (29:35) Uber driver? This is the Uber driver. Yeah, here's the breakdown. Okay, great. Here's what I want to know. I think there needs to be a scoring something that passengers get for pilots. Maybe don't give me his full name. Maybe put John D., Larry J., Speaker 5 (29:50) you know, Mary X., whatever, so you don't give the whole last name, but I get something. As we're going through this direction, we need to kind of find out who are these people that are getting these types of jobs. And as a person that's flying and travels a lot, you know, Speaker 1 (30:02) a co-pilot does this. So now you're not even protected from a co-pilot. And you mean to tell me you couldn't figure this part out Speaker 5 (30:10) as an institution and an organization? I mean, listen, we all make mistakes as business owners, but that's a pretty rough place to be. You're dealing with people's lives. This is literally, this story could very easily be. Speaker 7 (30:22) 174 people were killed in a flight that crashed apparently and we know nothing. Nope. By Speaker 2 (30:27) the way, that's the story that should have happened. If the captain, thank God, wrestled out of the cockpit. Open the cockpit door. Hero. The people came. The guy learned to fly the plane from watching TV show. Yeah. Speaker 4 (30:44) Are Speaker 2 (30:45) you kidding me? These people should all be dead. They should all be doing Hail Marys and Baruch Hashem right now. It's crazy. And I know Tom wants to say something. I'll say
