Speaker 8 (3:02) PFT, did we have a game in London to start? You're bloody right we did. We go to London, where Marcus Bloody Mariota was burning the Colts at the stake, leading the Redcoats on the attack against Speaker 1 (3:15) Les Bleus, but at a touching tribute to Big Ben. The clock, he ended up in a walking boot. Oh, hi there, Marcus. Speaker 3 (3:22) You want to just slip your little cootsies in me? Put those little Hawaiian feet inside me like they're playing move Speaker 8 (3:27) on the beach. So in came the Greek freak, Ethan Kaliakmanis, who hit the defense with the spinnacopa to move. Quentin Nelson had an obsession with his running back, shoving anyone Speaker 1 (3:40) to the ground who came near his Jonathan Taylor mate. Meanwhile, Tyler Warren Zevon was a werewolf in London. A little old Jaden got mutilated late last week. The best play of the game came when the Kallak maniac dropped back and a whap and a whap and a Brandon, I'm a cold man. He was rumbling, bumbling, stumbling, big man. But it wasn't enough to stave off Indy coach Carly Speaker 8 (4:07) Rae Jepsen Ursae. Hey, I just inherited you and this is crazy, but can I listen to Play Calls Maybe, who is in writing the notebook so Speaker 1 (4:17) that when our Commanders fans lose our brains. It will be there to remind us of how bad we were on this day. Colts, Speaker 8 (4:24) 30. Commanders, 13. Speaker 7 (4:26) In Chicago, back stateside where Ben Johnson had a case of the quarterback controversy as people wondered all week whether it would be Keenum or Bajent. And when the Bears lined up for their first Snap Sunday, coach said, why not both? It was ultimately Mike Tyson Bajent who played the rest of the game telling the Jets defense, I'll fuck you till you love me. And if you don't love me, I'll just hand the ball off to Kyle. Now here's a Monung guy for 146 yards and two touchdowns. As for the Jets, gee, no means no. Please don't throw that pass into the dirt as they mustered 157 yards of offense on the day. Such a lackluster performance has head coach Aaron Glenn Quagmire's goodwill starting to peter out as the Jets may be at their lowest, and he may be looking for a new giggity very soon. Bears 23, Jets 12. In soggy Philadelphia, Max is on the scene. Speaker 4 (5:20) We head over to Philadelphia where the Eagles' defense and Rams' offense were in a hand fight early, but it was Matthew's staph infection who was screaming MRSA while throwing two early interceptions. Jake Not-So-Smelliot was able to capitalize on the Rams' turnover by kicking two early field goals. Hold Speaker 6 (5:38) on a second, Boom. Speaking of Smelliot, something really sticks in this booth. I'm really sorry, Tease, but I gotta go to the bathroom. Oh no, is it one or two, Boom? It's a two-fuck for Cooper as he gets into the end zone for the second Speaker 4 (5:52) time right before the half. But that's it for the Eagles offense because they fucking suck. No more puns. They just fucking suck in the second half. And the Rams were able to do whatever the fuck they wanted in the fourth quarter to compete in the easiest comeback of all time. Fuck this. Fuck all of this. Rams 24, Eagles 20. Speaker 7 (6:09) Thanks, Max. And Buffalo, where Hank is on the scene. We head up to North Gillette, a.k.a. Highmark Stadium, Speaker 5 (6:17) where the undefeated Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills take on the New England Patriots. as everyone was sat in front of their TV ready to watch Drake and Josh. In the first quarter, Lil' Romeo Dobbs told Maxwell Harrison, you can't shine like me, ride like me, or pull dimes like me, as he came down to the end zone to get the scoring started for the Pats. James Dane Cook was sick of getting robbed of touchdowns by his brother Josh Allen, so he called his own number and took one of the crib for six. In the fourth quarter, Keon, I'm a cool man. Speaker 5 (6:54) I'm a cool man. Scored. What seemed to be the go-ahead touchdown for the Bills, but Drake May connected with Efton. Oh, my God. When Glenn watches this tape, he's going to chisel him to give the Patriots the Speaker 7 (7:07) lead and the win, 29-26. Thanks, Hank. In Texas, where the Stroud boys were standing back and standing by as CJ hoped to get his first win on the season, finding Nico Colin Kaepernick. for two scores as he tried to bring America's team to their knees once and for all. But it was Dallas and their quarterback, Dak Prescott-Stapp, creating the secondary perfectly and using his arms to find wide-open receivers. The game was back and forth late, and even though it was a non-emergency, the Cowboys dialed 3-1-1 to C.D. Lamber is the color of your energy. Having us all say, whoa, as he caught his 17th pass of the day. Speaker 2 (7:47) 17 passes! 17. 17th pass of the day for the game-winning touchdown. Cowboys 34, Texans 30. Speaker 8 (7:58) We go over to Cincinnati Speaker 1 (7:59) where it's fight or flight time for Burrow and Chase. Jamar Jamar binks Chase left early. Misa had head turned around by face of Masca. Speaker 8 (8:09) Why me Italian? Hey, I'm a Star Wars in here. Whether Lawrence was making it rain touchdowns and penalty flags as Bashaw Tutankhamen played with Egypt on his shoulder and was hard to wrap up, leaving the Bengals begging for their mummy as Burrow. The sarcophagus stopped a couple of interceptions and took a few scarab-y looking hits. But Brian Thomas, Uncle Junior, had all the makings of a varsity athlete on the road, even if he goes down super easy when he's back in Florida. The Speaker 1 (8:40) marriage between the Jags coach and quarterback is a good one, so it's time to cut the cake. They're Liam Cohen the distance. They're Cohen for speed. They're Cohen to London, Cohen to London for the next two weeks. And maybe... Just maybe they're going, going back, back to Cali, Cali for the Super Bowl this year after a big win like this. Jack's 22. Bagels, 17. Speaker 7 (9:04) Down to Tampa, where the Bucs try to get their first win, Zach. In Tampa. Speaker 1 (9:10) Jordan Courtney Love takes this Packers team to Nirvana early on with a pass to Matthew Golden Girls. While thanking fans in attendance for being a friend, he travels to the end zone and back again for a touchdown and six points. After some time, Jordan Loves decides to pay at the pump and hand off his savings to Big Sean Tucker, who shouts from the backfield to the Bucs defensive line, I ain't fucking with you, you little stupid-ass bitch, I ain't fucking with you, charging into the end zone for an effortless score. In the second half, Jordan Loved the Way You Lied decides to stand there and watch me burn. But that's all right, because you love the way it hurts. Just gonna stand there and... Make me cry. But that's all right because I love the way you lie. I love the way you lie. As he passes to Tucker Minecraft, who keeps his focus on the football instead of rooftops, penthouses, and urban living with oceanfront views, resulting in another Packers touchdown. Seeking possible redemption, Jalen Stormy Daniel double Ds, I mean doubles down on airing out the football to... Kenneth Gain, well, well, well, what do we have here? And a touchdown. That's what it is. It's a sad touchdown. A very sad touchdown. Summer, very sad. Packers 17, Tampa 14. Thanks, Speaker 7 (10:24) Zach. We go now to the Bay Area and memes. We find Speaker 6 (10:29) ourselves in the land of the 12th man where it is a classic battle of bird versus nature. Justin! Throw a pick. Tonight he's gonna throw a pick. Take a sack. He keeps laying on his back. As Justin Bieber Herbert was seeing ghosts, but if it can't throw close to you, I'll settle for number 42, Drake Thomas, that is, on the other fucking team. Then we move to the second quarter where Justin Timberlake Herbert was looking... was like looking in a mirror. A mirror staring back at the D. It couldn't get any clearer with five defenders inside of me as he got clearly fucked from all angles. The only spotlight came from Michael Keaton Mitchell who looked elusive with the ball and his hand chasing waterfalls. I don't want... Speaker 4 (11:22) Shane may have wrote some of these. Speaker 7 (11:27) You Speaker 4 (11:28) got Speaker 7 (11:28) it, Biebs. Stay in the pocket. Stay in the pocket. I don't want Speaker 6 (11:30) no scrubs, but all the scrubs are just playing on this fucking team. Don't run to the outside because all the tackles died and they're getting fucked by Speaker 7 (11:39) Amari. Seahawks 30, Chargers 23. Thanks, Biebs. In Las Vegas, where we had the Battle of the Undefeated as the Chiefs took on the Raiders. It was a battle of the stars as running back Kenneth Shocker was able to find any hole he wanted. going for 177 and two scores. And Brock Bow Speaker 2 (11:59) -Bow Bower Wheels caught six balls for 86 yards. Taekwon Jerry Thornton fucked the Raiders secondary like they were his student. He was a hot teacher. Inappropriate. And Perk Cousins was relaxed in the pocket as the teams traded scores. Flint Kubiak led into the fourth, but had us asking, what are you doing Speaker 7 (12:20) after Speaker 2 (12:20) he took points off the board in a game that ended Speaker 7 (12:22) in a three-point loss? The Chiefs. Continue to dominate the AFC West, taking down the Raiders. 30-27. Speaker 8 (12:35) Standing on the corner, Jameis Winston and Hope Oaken. Such a fine sight to see. It's Marvin Harrison. His dad's got a gun, so he won't do any slandering. Come on, neighbors. Speaker 1 (12:51) Cardinals are gamers. Speaker 2 (12:55) Three touchdown throws from Jameis. Suck it, haters. The G-Men, 36. The Cards 24. And that is your fastest two minutes. For week four in the NFL, football season is here. We still got one quarter left of Sunday night football, which we'll talk about at the end. Bryce Young looking great. Week four, boys. It was quite a week. Those days Speaker 7 (13:57) when we start in London and end late at night. Feels like we've been watching Speaker 2 (14:02) football for many, many hours. Also feels like this was the week of just way too many flags. Yeah. Speaker 7 (14:10) Too many injuries. Yeah. Speaker 3 (14:11) A lot of injuries. A lot of particularly gruesome injuries. Speaker 7 (14:14) Yep. Speaker 2 (14:15) And we are now sitting here with, what do we have? Three teams left that are undefeated. The Vikings. The Vikings, the 49ers, and the Chiefs. The Vikings, by the way, do you Speaker 7 (14:27) know that this is the 11th time they started undefeated in the Super Bowl era? I did not know that. Through four weeks? No, I did not. Eleven Speaker 2 (14:34) times. The Chiefs have started 4-0 nine Speaker 7 (14:37) times. The 49ers, seven times. If I had asked you that question, you would have been like, definitely the 49ers. Speaker 3 (14:43) Yeah, I was watching a video. I forget who put it together, but it was basically saying that the teams that are perfect through four weeks, it has almost no statistical bearing on whether or not they're going to end up as a top. five or top 10 teams at the end of the year. Once you get halfway through. Yeah. The EPA Speaker 8 (14:59) video that. Yeah. Speaker 3 (15:00) Yeah. The, the teams that are like usually towards the top, those are the ones that will usually stay towards the top, but it's not like, I mean, there are some very good four and oh teams right now. Speaker 2 (15:10) Yeah. We also now have, uh, three quarterbacks with, uh, an active wind streak, the longest active wind streak of four games in a row. Patrick Speaker 7 (15:20) Mahomes. Cause they're four and oh, uh, Brock Purdy. Cause they're four and oh. J.J. McCarthy actually has four wins in a row last time he played. How about that? Yeah. Good for him. 18. Sorry, 18. 18. Speaker 2 (15:33) Should we get into the games, though? Let's ride. Speaker 8 (15:35) A Speaker 2 (15:35) lot of games to get into. We start in London. Colts 30, Commanders 13, PFT. There was a moment in this game. I don't know if we're going to talk about the same moment. There was a moment, though, in this game where I was like, I think maybe, finally, Roger Goodell will stop this experiment. It was when Daniel Jones. Well, he fumbled in the first possession. I didn't even get my TV on, and I was like, oh, the Commanders must have run back a kickoff. And then I looked back, and I was like, oh, nope, Daniel Jones done fumbled. But the interception he threw, I think my exact tweet was like, he's just a doo-doo quarterback. And I was like, I think maybe that was the vibe of the game. And Mariota gets hurt. It was just like. We got to stop this. No more Speaker 3 (16:15) games in London. So I actually thought the offense looked really good with Mariota running. So I was excited. I was like, okay, yeah, this looks like a serviceable offense to me. Mariota looked like he was fast, like way faster than I had seen him run in years. And then, yeah, he got kind of rolled up on. I hear it might be the MCL. And then we don't really have a quarterback that has experience beyond him. So we put in Ethan Kalikmianis. Yeah. The Greek freak. The Greek freak. Who looks like you. Ethan, for you. I saw that. When we drafted him, I saw some pictures and I was like, I kind of see it, what people are saying. Then I just got bombarded with pictures. And it's very mean to Ethan to be comparing him to how I look. But yeah, when I had short hair and no facial hair, he looks a lot like I did. Even when you had short hair. Speaker 5 (17:02) Yeah. What's Speaker 3 (17:03) up? Speaker 5 (17:03) When you had short hair. What Speaker 7 (17:04) you need to do, PFT, is Speaker 3 (17:06) you Speaker 7 (17:06) need to be like, a lot of people have been saying I look like one of the white backup quarterbacks on the Commanders. Yeah, Sam Hartman. Dude, Sam Hartman popped into the screen for one minute, and I was just like, get out of here, dude. This is Speaker 3 (17:17) too much. From now on, when somebody says the hot white quarterback on the Commanders, I'm thinking Ethan all the way. For sure. And you know what? He was fun, too. He was. I said in the preseason, he... He's got a little Kirk Cousins in him, but he's actually less risk averse than Kirk ever was. So he came in, and since he had never gotten any reps at all with our ones or twos really, he just started bombing it. He just thought to himself, well, I've got Stephon Diggs, and I've got Antonio Williams, and I've got Traylon Burks, who's taller than everybody. So I'm just going to throw the ball as far as I can, as high as I can. And it kind of worked for a little bit. Speaker 2 (17:51) Yeah, he came in, he threw a pick, and then he threw a 47-yard bomb. You're like, this is going to be fun. Speaker 3 (17:56) Yeah, and he is, I would say he is a fun, as far as rookie seventh-round quarterbacks go, he's probably the best of all time. I can't think of any other seventh-round quarterbacks that worked out. But I don't think he's going to be the quarterback next week. I feel like Jaden's coming back. Didn't Jay Glazer say Speaker 2 (18:11) that? Yeah. Jay Glazer said Speaker 3 (18:12) he's going to try to come back. And, yeah, listen, this game was going to be over no matter what after Marcus went out. The offense looked completely different. I wish the spin move, the spin of Coppita, was the best spin move that I've ever seen in my entire life. A lot of guys wait until the defender is about to tackle Speaker 7 (18:28) you. Speaker 3 (18:28) He got dizzy. He spun so hard he got dizzy. Yeah, a lot of guys wait until the defender is close to you, but if you spin earlier, you might make them dizzy, which is what he was going for. Here's the next wrinkle that's coming on this. He might hit him with the fake spin move, take two more steps, and then the real spin move. Speaker 7 (18:46) I think he might do a double spin. Because Speaker 3 (18:48) he started so Speaker 2 (18:49) early, he could have double Speaker 7 (18:50) -spinned. The spin move worked. Yeah, it did. Speaker 4 (18:52) The defender could have gotten him earlier than what he did, but he was like, what the hell did that guy just do? He was like, oh, wait, no, I got to tackle. Yeah, he Speaker 7 (18:59) just hit the button too quick. That's all it was. He just smashed the button a little too fast. Speaker 3 (19:04) A Speaker 7 (19:04) little Speaker 3 (19:04) too fast. We've all done that before. Yeah, the game was going to be over no matter what once Marcus went down, but I very rarely complain about the refs. You know me. Yeah. I'm not an excuse guy. Okay. Speaker 3 (19:16) The refs fucking suck today. Speaker 2 (19:18) They Speaker 3 (19:18) were really, really bad. Well, we have two Speaker 2 (19:20) incidents the NFL's actually investigating, too. Yeah, these Speaker 3 (19:23) refs, like, I'm almost to the point where, as a Second Amendment guy, we need to arm ourselves. Like, the players should arm themselves against overreach because you had two refs, like, getting up in players' faces, and then you had this egregious display in the London game where they called a phantom offensive pass interference on Stephon Diggs. They called an illegal shift and a hold on Antonio Williams' 80-yard touchdown catch that he had. But they waited to throw the flag on the illegal shift until three seconds into the play when he had the ball and was running. I still don't know who they called it on. And then there was no hold on that play either. And then on the Stephon Diggs catch that I talked about, they waited until after he caught the ball, took six steps, got tackled. And then they threw a flag out. I don't know what was going on. Which is what Speaker 5 (20:18) happened to him last year. It sucks. I remember that. Yeah. Speaker 3 (20:21) It's bullshit. Speaker 5 (20:22) Yeah. Speaker 3 (20:22) And then there was a pass interference against Traylon Burks on what would have been like a 60-yard completion from the Greek cannon. And they threw a flag accurately called pass interference. And then they got together and said, there's no foul on the play. Yeah. So Dan Quinn, you got to – I want to hear Dan Quinn talking like I'm talking right now and take a fine for the boys because – That was dirty. It was disgusting. Get kicked out of Speaker 8 (20:46) the Speaker 3 (20:46) game. Get kicked out of Speaker 8 (20:46) the Speaker 3 (20:46) game. Do something like that. We would have lost anyways, probably, but I'm still going to take this time to complain about the officiating. Speaker 2 (20:52) Okay, so how are you feeling overall being one and three? That London game sucks, man. It Speaker 3 (20:58) just sucks. It sucks, but also it's... It's not as bad when you lose in that game because you forget about it. Yeah. Most people don't watch it. So by the second half of the earlier slate of games today, I kind of forgot. It's like Speaker 7 (21:13) losing in the noon window of the first Thursday of March Madness. Yes. And by Friday, everyone's like, wait, you were in the tournament? Yeah. Speaker 3 (21:21) I don't even Speaker 7 (21:21) remember. Yeah. Speaker 3 (21:22) So I kind of moved on from it. And I think what really hurts is that the reason I moved on from it so quickly is because I think I'm a. I'm just about in danger of moving on from this season. You've got to hold Speaker 7 (21:34) on for a Speaker 8 (21:34) little Speaker 7 (21:34) bit. Speaker 3 (21:35) I've got to hold on because... Jaden's coming back next week. Yeah, we've got the G-men. They're leading the division. Jaden's back next week. Oh, you have to do Speaker 7 (21:41) that to your boy Jameis? Speaker 3 (21:43) Got to do it to Jameis. I hope against 9-2.0. No, Speaker 7 (21:46) dude, Jameis Speaker 8 (21:47) is keeping his job. Old Jameis is Speaker 3 (21:49) back. I'll say something nice about the commanders this week. I thought that our defense... played well enough to win that football game. Our defense looked really good in the first half, and then we just kept giving them really, really short fields, and there was nothing that we could do. But I think the defense is coming together really nicely, and that's a good surprise considering how dogshit we've been on that side of the ball for the last, it feels like, five or six years. But that defense, I think that Durante Jones is doing a great job. So, you know, that's why I'm not giving up on the season just yet with Jaden coming back. and the defense getting better. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. Speaker 2 (22:27) All right. As for the Colts, they've kind of righted the ship a little bit. A start 0-2. Speaker 7 (22:32) Now they're 2-2. I still don't know. I don't really trust Daniel Jones at all. He just feels like he just turns the ball over so, so much. Shane Steichen even was, like, asked about it. I think he had seven total turnovers in four games. He said, I think he's done some really good things and then some things we need to clean up. That's putting it nicely. Jonathan Taylor remains one of the best backs in the league, and he just has to be their workhorse, which he was again. He now has the most rushing yards in international game history. So that's kind of cool. Yeah. I wonder if Speaker 3 (23:05) he Speaker 7 (23:05) gets slime for that or something. Speaker 3 (23:06) Him and Sauce Gardner, overseas merchants. Well, Speaker 7 (23:09) yeah. Sauce Gardner had a tough day. Yeah. He was getting cooked. Jonathan Taylor also smart enough to drink the tea, not the beer. He put the pinky up. Yeah, he put the pinky up. By the way, memes, the sauce gardener trade, like maybe trade of the year or trade of the decade. One of the greatest Speaker 6 (23:27) trades all time. Speaker 7 (23:27) Yeah, he does not look like the same guy. And it's pretty apparent. He got Speaker 2 (23:32) cooked a couple times. But yeah, I think the Colts, I'm not ready to say the Colts are good, but at least they've gotten back to 500. And I don't really understand what Speaker 7 (23:42) Mrs. Ursae, all due respect, is. doing on the sideline because she's now like going up and asking questions yeah Speaker 8 (23:48) yeah it's getting Speaker 7 (23:49) a Speaker 8 (23:49) little it feels a little little much it's Speaker 3 (23:51) pretty in your face today yeah i think you say Speaker 7 (23:54) hank Speaker 5 (23:55) it's her and jerry jones jerry Speaker 2 (23:57) jones is not asking questions on the sideline no no he's usually in a suite arthur blank arthur blank comes down at the end of the game i agree uh Why are you calling me a misogynist? Speaker 3 (24:10) No. Okay. Speaker 2 (24:11) You've Speaker 3 (24:12) been calling everyone Speaker 4 (24:12) misogynist. Speaker 3 (24:14) She's always done this, though. Me? This is her thing that she does, and she does it. She's asking questions to learn about the process. But she's been doing this for like 10 years. Speaker 2 (24:26) But it was weird because I think maybe it's just they're showing her more. That's really all it comes down to. So she's been doing the same thing, but now that they're showing her more, I think there was a moment where she did ask someone a question in the middle of the game. It's like, I have no idea how the sideline works. I Speaker 3 (24:40) think we talked about this on maybe even last Monday's show, but it does seem that she's getting closer to the coach. Right, that's what I'm saying. Like physically closer. She's inching closer to the guys. And I think that question might have been from pregame. Okay. I don't think that was during the game. They Speaker 2 (24:55) fooled us. All right, so you know what, Ms. Ursae? Do what you got to do. Yeah, go on with your bad self. But she is getting closer, which actually, listen, if the team, I think that how she should operate, and I'm not trying to tell her how to do her job, but if the team's doing poorly, she should basically get closer and closer until she's standing right behind Shane Steichen. And then if they're winning, maybe back off. That's really what it should be. She should be Shane Steichen's holdback guy when they're on a losing streak. Speaker 3 (25:24) Yeah, it's always fun when the owner is in the shot. As the head coach if they're losing the game. Yeah. That's always good. Speaker 8 (25:32) But Speaker 3 (25:33) Aethon is the only quarterback this year who has attempted six or more passes 30-plus yards downfield in a game. Whoa. Good Speaker 7 (25:39) for him. So Speaker 3 (25:39) if Speaker 7 (25:40) he Speaker 3 (25:40) does come back in, at least we have a fun backup quarterback. Speaker 7 (25:43) Yeah. Very fun. Speaker 8 (25:45) Very fun. Yeah. Okay. Should we go stateside? Yeah. Speaker 3 (25:48) Hank, did you have anything in this game? You were asking me some questions earlier, so I didn't know if you had anything. Do Speaker 8 (25:54) you Speaker 3 (25:54) have some questions, Hank? Speaker 5 (25:55) No, I was just saying it was probably exciting for you to watch your QB of the future. Like, obviously, he's a rookie, but it's like... It's something to get excited about. Yeah. I Speaker 3 (26:04) think he is a backup QB of the future. They're trying to push Jaden out. For Speaker 5 (26:08) sure. I think Jaden, whatever's going on in his elbow, is just pushing himself out every time he plays. Speaker 3 (26:15) You're saying there's something about Ethan that you trust. Speaker 5 (26:20) No, he just... He sounds a little Speaker 3 (26:21) bit racist. Speaker 5 (26:22) No, no, no. He's just... He's on the field. He's on the field. That sounds racist. He's on the field. Jaden can't stay on the field. So your quarterback in the future is going to need to be... On Speaker 3 (26:33) the field. On the field. That's one thing. I'm going to pass that along to Adam Peters for the next time he scouts a QB. Should be on the field. Well, yeah. The Speaker 5 (26:42) pictures. Those pictures were out there. Which ones? Of his elbow. Oh, before the draft. Yeah, yeah. Speaker 3 (26:47) That was the other elbow, though. Speaker 5 (26:49) But still, you know, symmetry. Body symmetry. Yeah, yeah, Speaker 3 (26:53) body symmetry. That's why everyone's Speaker 7 (26:54) attracted to Denzel Washington. Speaker 3 (26:55) He's going to be back. He's going to be back, and he's never going to get hurt again next week. And you'll see, Hank. Yeah. You'll see. You'll see. Speaker 7 (27:03) Max, yeah, did you know Denzel Washington's face is perfectly symmetrical? That's why he's so good looking. Didn't know that. Yeah. All of us mere mortals have just, like, you know, one eye smaller than the other. Yeah. It's like when you turn Speaker 5 (27:16) your phone in selfie mode, you're like, whoa. Yeah, you're like, ew, gross. Speaker 7 (27:19) Denzel turns around, he's like, damn, I am perfect. Speaker 8 (27:22) Ethan Speaker 3 (27:22) has a perfectly symmetrical face, too. I think number one in the league. Speaker 5 (27:29) Nice. Yeah. That's exciting. Speaker 8 (27:31) Very exciting. Yeah. Really good looking quarterback. Really good looking quarterback. Should probably grow his hair out. Nah, Speaker 2 (27:37) he'd look trashy. Okay. Hank. Yeah. Patriots 29, Bills 26. You got a little pep in your step. I didn't want a game. It's Speaker 5 (27:47) not Speaker 2 (27:47) doom and gloom. No. It's a great game. Great game. Drake May, he might be back because that was a Speaker 7 (27:54) hell of a drive that he takes him down the field for the winning score. Efton Chisholm, what a catch. Speaker 5 (28:00) Yeah, I mean, Matt Collins got hurt. A.J. Brown's already hurt. It was like we were joking, like Efton Chisholm, wide receiver one, and sure enough. Speaker 7 (28:07) He's wide receiver one. One Speaker 5 (28:08) -handed catch, Drake Mays scrambling, third down, third and six, I think it was. That's third Speaker 3 (28:13) and seven. Speaker 5 (28:14) Or no, it was, we can get, well, third and five, P.A.T. was in the cave being like, if you look at the yardage, it's actually third and six. And then as he rolled out, threw a touchdown, Efton Chisholm one-handed catch, snagged it down. It was Speaker 2 (28:28) 3-5, it was 3-5. Speaker 3 (28:29) I don't think I saw it win. I think Tate said that. But yeah, no, there was one great play he made on 3-5, one great play that he made on 3-7 today. So, yeah, I mean, listen, Drake May played really, really good today. I'll even say that the interception that he had, not his fault. No, Speaker 5 (28:45) not at all. Not his Speaker 3 (28:46) fault. I would Speaker 5 (28:46) love to Speaker 7 (28:47) say. Oh, the one where the guy fell on the ball and it popped up? Yeah, yeah. It wasn't Speaker 5 (28:51) a great throw, but it shouldn't have been an interception. If Speaker 2 (28:54) it was Speaker 3 (28:55) a Speaker 2 (28:55) better throw. Tape discipline. We got to practice tape Speaker 3 (28:57) discipline. So I can't comment on it until I've studied people who study the tape because I don't watch it myself. But typically you want your receiver to catch it in stride so that they can what? He's still running. Keep Speaker 5 (29:09) running, yeah. Speaker 3 (29:10) So if you dive, then that's the only way that the ball would be able to get flipped out like that. Speaker 5 (29:16) Yeah, no, not a great throw. Speaker 3 (29:17) I will not put that. The fumble, Speaker 5 (29:19) there was a clear miss, hands to the face on the offensive lineman. That's what caused the fumble. Oh, it caused that fumble? We're going to Speaker 3 (29:25) complain about officiating now? Speaker 5 (29:26) No, I'm looking past that. It is what it is. It felt like we were getting bad turnover luck again. He came out slow in the second half, too. There was a couple three-and-out drives where it was like, we've got to get something going. It was getting nothing going. But he came back in the fourth quarter, scrambled well, hit guys we needed to hit them, converted on fourth downs. It was awesome. Romeo Dobbs scored twice. It was a great game, and we just own the Bills. We own Highmark Stadium. And that's our stadium. Speaker 7 (29:58) That's your stadium. Speaker 5 (29:59) Yeah. We have as many wins there as the Bills do. Speaker 7 (30:01) That is Speaker 8 (30:02) true. Speaker 5 (30:04) Infinity less losses. Speaker 7 (30:07) That's also not true. The first stat was not true. They're 2-1 there. You're 1-0. They've won two games there. Speaker 5 (30:16) Got it. Almost as many wins there. Almost Speaker 3 (30:18) as many wins. But you have infinity less losses. Infinity Speaker 8 (30:21) less losses is fact. Which is pretty impressive. Speaker 7 (30:24) Listen, for the Bills side of it, the Bills defense is in trouble. Do not look good. And then, I mean, Josh threw a meatball Speaker 2 (30:32) sub at the end of the game. He shouldn't have thrown that ball. Yeah, it was a hero ball. You're just trying to get three points. You're trying to go to overtime. Speaker 5 (30:38) Second down, too. It didn't Speaker 2 (30:39) make sense. There was two guys covering him. That one made no Speaker 7 (30:42) sense, and it just felt like, yeah, he was trying to be the hero in that moment when all he needed to do was get 25 yards to tie the game with more than enough time left, a minute left, all three timeouts. Just a completely – that felt like a throw. with 10 seconds left in the game. And it's like they just needed to get down the field a little bit more. Like, just even get down the field and take a shot to the end zone. But that throw made no sense and was the end of the game. Speaker 3 (31:09) Yeah, it seemed like that was a panic throw on his part. There was also maybe the best throw away I've ever seen from Josh. Speaker 5 (31:16) Yeah. Behind the back. Intentional grounding. Oh, yeah. Speaker 3 (31:18) Behind the back. I think there were enough people around that they didn't call it. I don't know how that didn't get picked off. Speaker 5 (31:24) It happened. It was so, like... It was such a crazy, impressive throwaway that the refs didn't even realize what was happening and didn't realize it was intentional grounding. I didn't realize it was intentional grounding. If you go back and look, it definitely was. Speaker 7 (31:39) It was also Keon Coleman's breakout game because DJ Moore got hurt again. Keon Coleman had... like 100, what do you have, 116 Speaker 2 (31:47) yards. And he looked really good. But yeah, it's like the Bills are kind of in the same spot they're always in, where it's like the defense is just not, it doesn't feel like the defense is great. And then if Josh doesn't play perfect, they're going to be in trouble. But it was also like a very tough, Speaker 7 (32:04) hard-fought win for the Patriots to come back in this game and win that game. And Drake May kind of silenced the haters for a minute, like the Glenn Tape watches of the world. Speaker 5 (32:14) Yeah. Just everyone. But yeah, it was good to get back. It was a must compete. Not only did we compete, we won. Division win. Speaker 5 (32:23) The season's back on. Yeah, this Speaker 3 (32:24) was a Speaker 2 (32:26) classic Vrabel spot. Did you see Vrabel after in the postgame in the locker room? He said, we're going to fight until they cut our fucking hands off, okay? I promise you, until they fucking chop them off, we're going to fucking fight and we're going to fucking swing. Is he like a pickpocketer in Thailand? Who's going to cut off his hands? Why is his hands getting cut off? Speaker 5 (32:48) That's the fight game. That's just Speaker 8 (32:49) a fight Speaker 5 (32:49) game. Your Speaker 8 (32:49) hands eventually could get cut off. Speaker 5 (32:51) Yeah. Speaker 8 (32:52) Okay. Well, Chisholm only needs one. It's true. Speaker 5 (32:54) Yeah. C.J. Gardner-Johnson, too, which is all-time quote, all-time cope. Speaker 2 (33:00) That is just who he is. He's never lost. He's never lost. He said afterwards about Chisholm, an elevated guy made a hell of a catch. Probably won't hear from him again, respectfully. A practice squad player made a hell of a play. They ain't do shit better than us. Well, they did win the game. And Speaker 5 (33:15) Chisholm is not a practice squad guy. Speaker 2 (33:17) No. Speaker 7 (33:17) But that is also C.J. Gardner-Johnson. I feel like he has to say something crazy to get himself motivated. He's kind of wired that way. Speaker 5 (33:25) I loved it. Couldn't get enough. You were so happy. Yeah, it was a great win. It was a great win. The start of the second half, it felt like... Here we go again. It was like two, three and outs. Maybe they got one first down conversion and then punted it. It was just like we had nothing going. Injuries piling up. Matt Collins went out. No one to throw to. Didn't matter. Just an amazing throw and catch on that play at the end of the game. Did Speaker 3 (33:53) we find out what happened to Matt Collins? Speaker 5 (33:55) It was non-contact. I don't know what came after the game, but it didn't look good. It was non-contact injury, and he had to hop off on one foot. Speaker 2 (34:05) This also is like Josh Allen in the last two games. And A.J. Brown, once he comes back. Yeah. Speaker 5 (34:10) Buzzin'. Josh Speaker 2 (34:10) Allen in the last two games has not been great. He says... One pass, touchdown, three interceptions. So four turnovers total. And it does feel like that's not good enough. It's just they have to play not perfect ball on offense, but they can't be giving the ball away. You can't be making those mistakes because their defense isn't good enough to Speaker 7 (34:34) stop when that happens. Speaker 3 (34:37) Hank, did you notice anything different about the Patriots' offense this week? Speaker 5 (34:44) No. Speaker 3 (34:44) They ran motion so much. So much. So like last week, I believe up until last week, they were in the bottom like three or four teams in terms of motion rate before the snap. And then this week they said, no, we're going to fix all that. And they had the highest motion rate that they've had in, I believe, three or four years. So, like, McDaniels just went dummy with emotion. He did something Speaker 2 (35:08) different. Love that. Made some fixes. Do you feel bad at all knowing how much the people of Buffalo love us and we love the people of Buffalo that you just keep doing this to them? Speaker 5 (35:18) No. Zero percent. I love it, as a matter of fact. Okay, Speaker 7 (35:22) you actually revel in it? Yes. You enjoy it so much? Yes. Okay, that's mean. Speaker 5 (35:26) It is what it Speaker 3 (35:27) is. It's business. It's business. They loved it when Josh Allen had that perfect game against Mac Jones. Remember that? In the playoffs? Yeah. Yeah, they had a perfect game. Would you say Speaker 2 (35:39) they're like the chief rival now? Speaker 2 (35:44) Or do you not have a rival? Is it still like Mahomes? Speaker 5 (35:48) It's the Seahawks. Speaker 2 (35:49) It's the Seahawks. Revenge. Speaker 2 (35:53) The Seahawks are your number one rival. Speaker 5 (35:55) Mahomes too. Mahomes because Mahomes is like, although the Brady stuff now is kind of weird. Speaker 8 (36:01) Wait, Speaker 3 (36:02) what? It's just like Speaker 5 (36:03) things have gotten weird. I think your number one Speaker 3 (36:07) rival might be Tom Brady. Speaker 5 (36:08) No, no, it's not. Do Speaker 3 (36:10) you Speaker 5 (36:10) hate Tom Brady? No, I love Tom Brady. I die for Tom Brady. But I'm focused on Drake May and Drake May's legacy. For a while there, it was like I really didn't want Mahomes to win because I didn't want. him to climb up Brady's... Speaker 5 (36:26) goat status but now it's like I just want Drake May to get there. Speaker 5 (36:30) But yeah, it's probably Mahomes, Josh Allen. It's a good win. Good Speaker 7 (36:34) win. Anything else in the game? Speaker 8 (36:37) Drake Bay back? Speaker 5 (36:38) Back. All the way back. Fully back. Yeah. Wintober. Wintober's on. Wintober. Speaker 8 (36:42) What about Leftober? Speaker 5 (36:44) Locktober as well. Wintober of Locktober. Okay. Leftober maybe. Speaker 8 (36:49) Okay. All the way back. Or was it Leftember? Speaker 5 (36:53) Full October. Okay. Speaker 8 (36:56) All the way back. No problems. No Speaker 5 (36:58) problems. Who Speaker 7 (36:58) do you have next week? Are Speaker 8 (36:59) you Speaker 7 (36:59) worried about Glenn Tapewatch? Speaker 5 (37:00) Raiders. Never have been, never will be. It's a... I Speaker 7 (37:04) don't know why I pointed. I'm already... It's already an overplayed bit. Speaker 5 (37:08) It's going to be like nine minutes somehow next week. Guy doesn't know how to cut anything down. I actually Speaker 3 (37:13) saw it. It's been 357 on the dot the last two weeks. Wow. Speaker 7 (37:18) Yeah. So nine minutes was Speaker 3 (37:19) just a lot. I just feel Speaker 5 (37:20) bad for Quiggs, but... Speaker 7 (37:21) Why? What does Quiggs have to do? Speaker 5 (37:23) Oh, whatever. Whatever Glenn... Can't do himself, which is everything. Speaker 3 (37:27) It sounds like you would put Glenn up there and your chief rivals. I don't know that he'd say the same about you. Speaker 5 (37:36) He's not. It's like nothing he says. He's not. He doesn't even know who you are. I'm worried about football. This is like a parody. It's a brand of comedy that I understand some people like it. I personally don't. Okay. All Speaker 3 (37:49) right. Speaker 5 (37:50) But I'm not knocking other people for enjoying it. It's like everyone to each their own. I happen to enjoy it. Yeah, enjoy what you like. I'm not going to go out of my way to watch it, but some people will. That's good for them. But it's not a rivalry thing. Speaker 3 (38:04) Some people like comedies like The Hangover, and some people like comedies like The Hangover 3, and that's okay. Glenn, is Speaker 7 (38:11) Big Bang Theory to you? You're like, there's a lot of people who like it and watch it, but I don't understand it. Exactly. Okay. Speaker 3 (38:18) That's all right. Yeah. Speaker 8 (38:20) I don't think Lynn gets you either. I've actually never watched an episode of Big Bang Theory. Neither have I. Or Speaker 7 (38:26) How I Met Speaker 8 (38:26) Your Mother. It's super popular. Yeah. Speaker 7 (38:28) Yeah, Speaker 2 (38:28) I never watched How I Met Your Mother either. Speaker 4 (38:30) Max watched it in the bath. Speaker 2 (38:32) You do? How I Met Your Mother is Speaker 4 (38:33) my favorite show. Speaker 2 (38:33) It's your favorite show? How's the show he's Speaker 4 (38:35) watching in the bath? I watch it every single night before I go to bed. Speaker 2 (38:38) Mine too. Speaker 4 (38:39) What? Speaker 2 (38:39) Both of you? Your favorite show? Speaker 4 (38:41) Not in the bath, but... Bath isn't... Sometimes in the Speaker 2 (38:46) bath. Speaker 4 (38:46) How I Met Your Mother is a... I put on before I go to sleep every single night. Speaker 8 (38:51) Favorite show? What's your favorite episode? Speaker 4 (38:54) It's like my most watched show. Favorite show may not be the right word, but it's my most watched show. Speaker 3 (38:59) So it's like your go-to for when you're trying to turn your brain off. Correct. It's Speaker 4 (39:02) like your pinky. Yeah. Speaker 8 (39:04) Yeah. It's like you know what's going to happen. They're going Speaker 7 (39:07) to eventually tell us how they met the mother. Isn't that Speaker 5 (39:10) how they met? Like suck? Speaker 7 (39:13) Yeah, then it blows. Oh, no. You can still watch it. Yeah, it's fine. Sounds like Max. Did you cry? Speaker 4 (39:21) No, I didn't cry. I knew that's what the ending was going to be. Was it Speaker 7 (39:25) just at a bar? Speaker 4 (39:26) No. No. It was just the real show wasn't about. Speaker 4 (39:31) Spoiler alert. It was about the moms they met on the Speaker 5 (39:33) way. Speaker 4 (39:33) Spoilers, spoilers. It wasn't about... The mom fucking dies. The mom dies. And it's about... Speaker 4 (39:40) Getting together with another girl and asking the kids for their permission, kind of. The Speaker 6 (39:48) entire show builds up to this one moment. How Speaker 4 (39:51) did Speaker 6 (39:51) we get here? I want to hear this. I want to hear this. You're clearly both passionate about this show, Speaker 3 (39:56) which I love. Where he Speaker 6 (39:57) finally meets the mom. Yeah. And she gets cancer and dies. Okay. And then they Speaker 4 (40:02) ask the kids, can I get together with my friend? you consider your aunt. Speaker 6 (40:11) That he met in episode one. Episode one. And he went on and on. The Speaker 4 (40:14) whole Speaker 6 (40:14) show is Speaker 4 (40:14) the romance between him and this friend. Speaker 2 (40:17) Okay. Speaker 4 (40:17) And then they finally tell you how he met the mother, but then they're done with the mother and go back to the friend. Speaker 2 (40:23) So how I met your mother, the mother's never in it? Speaker 4 (40:25) No. The mother's in Speaker 2 (40:26) it Speaker 4 (40:26) for like half a season. But she's dead. And bits and pieces. Did she die in the first season? No. No, she dies in the last episode. The last episode she dies. But it's all, it's all. Is it a pre? It's. Speaker 4 (40:38) How do I explain it? Speaker 3 (40:39) Wait, wait, wait. Was the mother that ended up dying? How I met your mother is Bob Saget telling the story. Yeah, Bob Saget's a dad. He's Speaker 4 (40:46) telling his children the story of how he met their mother. So it's his entire 20s and 30s up until he met the mother. But then they get to when he finally tells his kids how they met the mother. So it gets to present time. And Speaker 7 (41:01) then they're like, Speaker 4 (41:02) oh, your mom died? No, the mom was always dead. So it's always telling the kids. about how he met their mother that died. But then when they get to the point where he met the mother, he asks the kids, can I marry this other woman? Speaker 6 (41:15) Yeah, he sits them down. He's like, oh, it's a long story. And they're like, ha, ha, ha. It's really Speaker 4 (41:19) just a story of him and this other woman. Speaker 3 (41:22) I'm so confused. Like the original mom, did she know the woman that would eventually raise her kids? Speaker 4 (41:28) Oh, yeah. So at the end, they like got. Speaker 3 (41:32) So this guy's wife died, and then he's like, I'm going to marry her best friend. Speaker 4 (41:37) No, no, no. Well, they were friends. Isn't this what Hunter Biden did? Speaker 3 (41:41) Yeah. Speaker 4 (41:41) I don't know anything about Hunter. I don't know anything about that. Speaker 2 (41:44) Wait. So at the end of the show, it's just him being like, and that's how I met your mother. Can I now fuck your aunt? Yes. Speaker 4 (41:51) Yes. Okay. Speaker 2 (41:52) Literally. Speaker 4 (41:52) I'm pretty sure he says those exact words. Speaker 3 (41:55) Okay. All right. And we're supposed to be like, this is such a sweet show about the mom. Speaker 4 (41:59) No, it's supposed to be like, oh, they finally got the aunt. But Speaker 6 (42:06) how did he meet the mother? At Speaker 4 (42:09) the Speaker 6 (42:10) aunt's wedding. At a train station in the rain. Speaker 2 (42:13) Oh, those are two different answers. At the wedding. Speaker 3 (42:16) At the wedding. The wedding happened at a train station. So the Speaker 2 (42:19) aunt's married, but now she got divorced? Speaker 4 (42:22) She got divorced. The aunt was married to Speaker 3 (42:24) Bonnie. Speaker 4 (42:24) She got divorced to Neil Patrick Harris. Got it. Speaker 6 (42:27) Okay. But how those shows are filmed, they film the first and last episode immediately right away, like how it ends. So that's why you get to the end. You're like, wait, what the fuck is this? That's what it always was. Got it. Speaker 3 (42:41) You Speaker 6 (42:41) just don't know it as an audience. Gotcha. So they met Speaker 3 (42:43) while they were running a train with the ant. Speaker 4 (42:47) No. No, it just happened to be at a train station. It was raining. She was the wedding singer. The guitarist. Yeah, Speaker 2 (42:54) she was Speaker 4 (42:57) in the wedding band. Speaker 2 (42:58) All right, Cowboys 34, Texans 30. Speaker 2 (43:02) Drake Mays back. Drake Mays back. CeeDee Lamb. The CeeDee Lamb game. 17 catches, 189 yards, and a touchdown. This game was awesome. Unfortunately for the Texans, they're 0-4, and they just cannot time up their offense and their defense at the same time. At Speaker 7 (43:20) all. At Speaker 3 (43:20) all. Because the offense looked pretty good. C.J. Stroud had a great game today. Nico Collins back. Makes a big difference. C Speaker 2 (43:26) .J. Stroud, I know they lose this game. CJ Stroud had the ball down 27-23 with like six minutes left. He goes down the field 87 yards to score a touchdown. That should be enough for the Texans defense to shut the door. Speaker 3 (43:45) And it wasn't. It's that and also at some point. The Texans need to figure out how to run the football. Yeah. Because they have not been able to do that. No. The key is if you have a great defense like they should have in theory, it didn't look great today, but if you have a great defense, you can get away with having C.J. Stroud play average ball if you can run the football. But he didn't even play average. He played good today. And he played great today, but they still can't. The larger point is they had a lead. They were up 16-6 at halftime. Yeah. If you run the football in the second half. You can eliminate a lot of those points. But they've consistently, over the course of the last three years, they have not been able to run the football at all. And Dak Speaker 8 (44:27) got just, like, super hot. I Speaker 7 (44:30) mean, what are you laughing about, Max? Speaker 4 (44:32) After Zach did his... After we cut the mic, Zach goes, I've only watched half of it. You just spoiled that for me. Speaker 1 (44:39) Come on, Zach! I didn't want to ruin the moment. You guys were going there. But, like, yeah, the whole show's done. Speaker 1 (44:46) tanked absolutely Speaker 4 (44:47) tanked he said I've been dying
