Speaker 3 (0:28) Okay, we talk a lot, and so our first episode became two episodes. Speaker 1 (0:33) So Speaker 3 (0:33) here we are, part two Speaker 2 (0:35) of Speaker 3 (0:35) Not Over the Hill. And we had a little drink, and so I think this is going to be a little bit more open, a little spicier, a little more spilling of the tea. Speaker 1 (0:46) And Speaker 3 (0:47) you're going to be so happy you tuned in. Speaker 2 (0:51) It's a good one. You had a very in, like, involved act. Oh, Speaker 3 (1:00) very. Speaker 3 (1:03) What Speaker 2 (1:03) did he do for a living? Speaker 3 (1:04) He worked for Nunn Bush Men's Shoes. Speaker 2 (1:09) Nunn Bush Men's Shoes. And Speaker 3 (1:11) his name was Allen, and that's why I'm Allen. That's my middle name. Speaker 2 (1:15) Barbara Allen Woods. Speaker 2 (1:17) Okay. The whole thing has come together now. Especially the shoes part. And Speaker 3 (1:21) they've both been to Wilmington. I Speaker 2 (1:23) never met them, did I? And walked through Speaker 3 (1:25) the sets and everything. But you Speaker 2 (1:26) say your mom's built. Speaker 3 (1:27) Well, my mom had boobs. Like, we all had boobs. Speaker 2 (1:30) Yeah. Speaker 3 (1:30) Yeah. Speaker 2 (1:31) My mom and my grandmother did, too. Speaker 3 (1:34) But I'm also saying this because I was accused often of them not being real. Speaker 2 (1:39) Yeah, that's ridiculous. And Speaker 3 (1:40) they are. Yeah. Speaker 2 (1:41) Mine are real, too. No. I Speaker 3 (1:44) believe you. Are your muscles real? Those implants? Speaker 2 (1:46) Muscles. I used to be muscular. I'm more just kind of like, I maintain now. Speaker 3 (1:53) So let me say, I think this might have been off camera, but you used to show me your muscles. I Speaker 2 (1:58) did. Speaker 3 (1:58) And I used to hit them. Speaker 2 (1:59) Oh, my God. I Speaker 3 (2:00) used to hit your muscles. Speaker 2 (2:01) Wow. That's probably more revealing of me than you. Speaker 3 (2:05) You wanted me to hit them. Speaker 2 (2:06) It's like, hit them, hit them. Yes. I want to ask you a question. Speaker 3 (2:09) Okay. Speaker 2 (2:10) Okay. First off, we have to sort of remind people that this is something you and I are committing to doing Speaker 3 (2:19) because Speaker 2 (2:20) we really feel there's so much to be said and there's so much uncovered and there's so many unique ideas and stories that we haven't been able to share that we're taking this opportunity to do. Speaker 3 (2:29) And you know what? This is fun for me because we were such great work partners, but now already I feel like I'm getting to know you. Really? Way more. Speaker 2 (2:39) Yeah. Like Speaker 3 (2:40) we talked, we would like in between scenes, we'd have time. Back then, people sat around the monitor and actually watched the scenes instead of being on their phones. That's right. Speaker 2 (2:50) It Speaker 3 (2:50) was Speaker 2 (2:50) a Speaker 3 (2:50) way different experience. Speaker 2 (2:52) I don't Speaker 3 (2:52) think Speaker 2 (2:52) I ever brought a phone to the set. And Speaker 3 (2:54) you didn't really talk because you were just focused on the scenes and watching. No. And learning. Speaker 2 (2:59) And learning. Yeah. Like, yeah. I mean, yeah. And Speaker 3 (3:03) socially. I was taking care of my kids. I was raising children. So we didn't go out much. So this is fun for me to get to know you. But don't you Speaker 2 (3:11) think that when you're working on a TV series or even a movie, that a lot of times you kind of want to be a bit Teflon so that you don't have, I don't know, maybe it's just me, maybe it's my own mind. Don't you feel like... Your downtime is so rare and so precious that you don't want to get overly friendly because that's an energy sap that you need to rebuild up to go back to work. Speaker 3 (3:37) During the day when you're actually shooting, I agree. But now that I do have free time, like I just finished a movie and all I wanted to do was hang out with Robert Buckley, by the way, was in the movie. All I wanted to do was hang out with him and get to know him better, maybe because I never got to know him during Wintry Hill. But I think if I didn't have if I hadn't had kids during Wintry Hill, I think I would have socially got to know. like the family better than I did. Speaker 2 (4:06) I'm going to put you on the spot. I'm going to guess you don't know Robert Buckley's character's name. Speaker 3 (4:12) Yes, I do. Because we were doing an interview together. He Speaker 2 (4:17) said it. Speaker 3 (4:18) And everybody was loving the fact that we're being reunited. Okay. And like, we never knew each other. We never crossed over. I didn't know his character at all. But now that you're saying that. It's. Yes, I do know. Speaker 2 (4:32) But it's not written on this card. Speaker 3 (4:35) Yes, I do know. Speaker 2 (4:37) Does it start with an A? Speaker 3 (4:38) No. Speaker 2 (4:39) Okay. Good. It's one to C. Speaker 3 (4:41) I want to say, it's like... Speaker 2 (4:43) You know how many people listening right now are screaming it? Tell Speaker 3 (4:47) me what it starts with. Speaker 2 (4:48) Let me see if the audience are screaming it. Speaker 3 (4:50) Simon. Speaker 2 (4:50) Clay. Clay. I Speaker 3 (4:53) knew it was Clay. I wanted... I was going to say C. I wanted just the letter. And I was going to say Chad. So how Speaker 2 (5:01) many times, here's a terrific question. How many times did Dan Scott try to drown Clay? Speaker 1 (5:07) Really? Speaker 1 (5:10) Yeah, twice. What? Speaker 2 (5:13) Those fans Speaker 1 (5:13) back Speaker 2 (5:14) there? Yeah, the fans. Yeah. No, they follow me around. They're not your family. They're mine. Do you do a lot of cameos? Speaker 3 (5:19) I do my share. Yeah. Fair share. Yeah. Speaker 2 (5:22) You know, I think Chad must do, and Joy, and Hillary, and Sophie must do hundreds, right? Can Speaker 3 (5:31) I tell you something? We're about to have Craig Schaffer. Speaker 2 (5:34) I don't know Speaker 3 (5:34) if we're supposed to tease that. Yeah, Speaker 2 (5:36) we are. I Speaker 3 (5:36) can't wait. He's Speaker 2 (5:37) one of our favorite guests. Speaker 3 (5:38) Yes. We Speaker 2 (5:39) can't wait. He's Speaker 3 (5:40) coming on the show. Is he Speaker 2 (5:41) cooking for us? Speaker 3 (5:43) Oh, we could do that. Speaker 2 (5:44) You know, he cooks this orange salmon that he poached for me. You know all the stuff that Craig did for me when I was sick on Montreal. I got to him. He kind of moved in, took care of me. It was amazing. And he got every spot in the shower. No, we didn't show it. It's going to be those jokes. No, but he's a great cook. Speaker 3 (6:05) That doesn't surprise me. Speaker 2 (6:07) He raised his daughter by himself. Speaker 3 (6:08) Oh, I know that. Yeah. I know that. Willow. That was very attractive. And so he thanked me yesterday because I guess I didn't remember this. I got him on Cameo. I said, you should do Cameo. He's like, I don't know what that is. And I got him on it two years ago. And he said, it's become so lucrative for him. Great. And he said, thank you so much for doing that. He said, I know you also got me on Instagram. But that hasn't been as lucrative. Is Speaker 2 (6:34) there money in Instagram? Speaker 3 (6:35) No, but he just doesn't do it. Speaker 2 (6:37) I see. I think you have to post. Speaker 3 (6:38) Yeah, he just doesn't do Speaker 1 (6:39) it. Speaker 2 (6:39) I do a lot on Instagram, and I'm going to put the show up there for everybody, too, and clips of our... And we're going to do a few Speaker 1 (6:47) TikToks. Over Speaker 2 (6:47) the hill, not... Okay, wait. Let me get it right. How should we pronounce this? Speaker 3 (6:53) Not over the hill. Speaker 2 (6:54) Okay, give me an alternate reading and go. Speaker 3 (6:56) Over the hill, not... Speaker 2 (6:58) Give me the first one, but differently. Not Over Speaker 3 (7:01) the Hill. Okay, Speaker 2 (7:02) do that one again. Speaker 3 (7:02) Not Over the Hill. I Speaker 2 (7:04) didn't buy it. You faked it. Be a good actress now. Speaker 3 (7:06) Not Over the Hill. Speaker 2 (7:07) I'll Speaker 1 (7:07) buy Speaker 2 (7:08) that. Speaker 1 (7:08) Okay. All right. Speaker 2 (7:09) Oh, you're doing it now for Taylor Sheridan. Go. Speaker 3 (7:13) Not Over the Hill. Speaker 2 (7:17) They just recast your part. Damn it. Wow. Okay, let me try it. Ready? Not Over the Hill. Okay, so... Too much into it, right? No, it's good. I like the title. What was an alternative title? Speaker 3 (7:31) Over the Hill. Speaker 2 (7:32) War of the Scots. Speaker 3 (7:33) War of the Scots. And instead, we're going to have a segment called War of the Scots. And what's going to be in that segment? We're Speaker 2 (7:39) going to compete Speaker 3 (7:39) with each other. And guests, or Simon... We're Speaker 2 (7:44) going Speaker 3 (7:44) to compete with guests. Or fans over here... These Speaker 2 (7:46) fans. Will Speaker 3 (7:46) give us competitions to do. And... We're going to compete. War of the Scots. Speaker 2 (7:52) What other segments are going to be in our podcast? Every Speaker 3 (7:55) guest will have a drink of choice. Speaker 2 (7:57) Oh, I would go home with fabulous prizes. Speaker 3 (8:00) I'm preparing those. I already have our gift bags going for our guests. You think I'm joking, but I'm not. That's so Speaker 2 (8:06) cute. And what about inappropriate question time? And Speaker 3 (8:09) we're going to have, and also we're going to have a big bowl of inappropriate questions. which you will throw some in, I'll throw some in, our fans will throw some in. Speaker 2 (8:19) Simon Speaker 3 (8:20) will throw some in. People can Speaker 2 (8:21) send in to our, what's our, we have a Gmail address. You can send us your questions at notoverthehillpodcast at gmail.com. Speaker 3 (8:29) Say it again. Speaker 2 (8:30) Oh, you read it? Speaker 3 (8:31) I don't even know. Speaker 2 (8:32) Okay, send us your questions for inappropriate questions on One Tree Hill, not over the hill. Not over the hill podcast at gmail.com. We want to hear your questions for our guests and for us. Speaker 3 (8:44) Inappropriate questions. Speaker 2 (8:45) Not. What? Speaker 3 (8:47) Inappropriate questions. What did I Speaker 2 (8:48) say? Yeah. No, our questions are, these are inappropriate questions, but keep them. We're not going to go down there. We're kind of like, let's give an example of an inappropriate question. Let's ask Speaker 3 (8:59) some questions that are not so basic. Okay. Speaker 2 (9:02) Like Speaker 3 (9:02) things that have never been asked. I'll do Speaker 2 (9:03) one with you right now. Ready? I'm going to give you one. Speaker 3 (9:04) Okay. Speaker 2 (9:05) How old. Is the oldest guy you've ever kissed when you were in your 20s? Speaker 3 (9:11) Oh, that's so easy. Really? Speaker 2 (9:13) Yeah. Speaker 3 (9:13) Don't Speaker 2 (9:14) ask me because I've never kissed a guy my age. Speaker 3 (9:16) But it wasn't really in my real life, but on set. Okay, Speaker 2 (9:19) that'll work. Speaker 3 (9:20) Okay. It's Speaker 2 (9:21) still an inappropriate question. Dudley Speaker 3 (9:22) Moore. Speaker 2 (9:23) Dudley Moore. I've always wanted to kiss him. Speaker 3 (9:25) I kissed Dudley Moore. How Speaker 2 (9:26) old was he? Speaker 3 (9:27) Let's look him up. Simon? He would have been Speaker 2 (9:30) 60s or 70s then. Speaker 3 (9:32) I don't know. Speaker 2 (9:34) By the way, brilliant pianist. Born in 1935. Same as my dad. There Speaker 3 (9:39) we go. Speaker 2 (9:40) Yeah. So Speaker 3 (9:40) he was a lot older. Speaker 2 (9:41) Yeah. I had to Speaker 3 (9:42) kiss him, but I was a little bit excited to kiss him because I am a mega fan of Dudley Moore. Me too. Comedically. Yeah, Speaker 2 (9:48) yeah. Very, very good. Speaker 3 (9:49) So he might have been the oldest guy I ever had to kiss. Speaker 3 (9:53) Was Speaker 1 (9:54) it a good kiss? Speaker 3 (9:55) No. I mean, it was in a sitcom. It was a movie. Sitcom kiss. Speaker 1 (9:58) Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 3 (10:00) So, but it was still Dudley Moore, you know. Speaker 2 (10:04) Yeah. Huh. Speaker 3 (10:06) Okay, that was inappropriate. Yeah, Speaker 2 (10:07) see, that's what I mean. That's fun. But we, yeah, so we're going to, some people might find that to be even too much, but I don't. And you don't. No. And Speaker 3 (10:15) I just want to, like. We'll ask some inappropriate questions maybe to our guests as well. Right. We Speaker 2 (10:21) can Speaker 3 (10:21) draw out of the bucket. But it's all about getting to know people. And Speaker 1 (10:27) breaking down the Speaker 3 (10:28) walls. Yeah. Speaker 2 (10:29) You know what I mean? Because, I mean, I would say, what's my most embarrassing moment on one trail? Speaker 1 (10:35) What was? Do you want Speaker 2 (10:36) to know what it was? Yeah. I think I may have told this. Maybe I only told somebody in a cameo. I may have told it before. It was, I don't remember what season it was, but I was in my Dan Scott Mayor. office or an office like that and I had a glass desk and I put on a little bit of weight. Let's just say that I was drinking my sorrows away and I was, you know, imbibing in the evenings and I was a little puffy. This is before I got back in shape, a little puffy. And, uh, and I was in my wardrobe pants. Speaker 2 (11:08) but not my shirt. I was wearing like a t-shirt late and was doing rehearsal. So we all got called to the set first thing in the morning, go to the set in the morning. And, and I'm doing the scene. I think it was with joy and we're doing a scene and, uh, and I'm, I'm kind of eating my breakfast still. So I'm kind of got like a burrito when I got her orange juice, I get, I'm doing my scene and I'm fat, um, fat Dan Scott. And I, as I'm doing my scene, I lean on my glass desk and it explodes. And a shard of glass went in my ass. Speaker 3 (11:40) And it Speaker 2 (11:41) went about three or four inches up my butt along the side, not in the heart. And I was so embarrassed. I was just kind of like, I'm fine. I'm fine. And they're like, are you okay? No, I'm fine. I'm fine. And there was a trail of blood all the way to my chest. Why Speaker 3 (11:59) did you Speaker 2 (11:59) not Speaker 3 (11:59) know this? And Speaker 2 (12:00) I went in my chest and I pulled out the piece of glass out of my ass. And I went. I almost fainted. And my fat cheeks were bouncing. And I put like a big wad of toilet paper on the wound and held it and held it. And finally, they had to take me to get stitches because I'd sliced my butt open. And it was because I had eaten too much. Speaker 3 (12:23) Are you kidding Speaker 1 (12:24) me? Speaker 2 (12:24) That's a true story. Yeah. I still, I can show you the stitches. Speaker 3 (12:27) Wait, go ahead. What season was this? Speaker 2 (12:31) I don't remember. Fat season. Look for Fat Dan and you'll know it was that season. So there's a story that hasn't been told on our premiere episode. You actually got Speaker 3 (12:40) stitches in your butt. Speaker 2 (12:41) I had three stitches in my butt and the shard of glass, I think I kept somewhere as a souvenir. Speaker 3 (12:47) I can't live up to that. It may Speaker 2 (12:48) be in the Dan Scott Museum somewhere. Speaker 1 (12:50) No, Speaker 2 (12:51) that's Speaker 1 (12:51) an embarrassing moment. Yeah. Speaker 2 (12:53) So I learned my lesson. No burritos on set. Speaker 3 (12:56) Do you think people were like, talking Speaker 2 (12:58) about like... They're like going, oh, look at the Tony Speaker 3 (13:02) Soprano where they're in. Speaker 2 (13:04) Yeah, I think it was, I think it was, it probably inspired me to, you know, start eating salads. Sold a lot of salads in one minute after that. Speaker 3 (13:14) I'm sorry. Speaker 2 (13:15) For the salads? Yeah, they're awful. Not bad. Oh, the week. Yeah. Speaker 3 (13:19) I'm sorry. I Speaker 2 (13:20) told you not to do this. Speaker 3 (13:23) Two sips. Two Speaker 2 (13:24) sips. Speaker 3 (13:25) I think if we find like people who were fans of the show. Speaker 2 (13:29) Okay. And Speaker 3 (13:30) you have such a big circle of friends. I'm Speaker 2 (13:33) very, very popular. Everyone likes me. I know Speaker 3 (13:34) you are because you tell me that all the time. I do. Speaker 2 (13:36) Yes. Speaker 3 (13:38) And have people come on the show who just liked the show and they can or hated it. Right. People Speaker 2 (13:44) that have. Or just have Speaker 3 (13:45) opinions about the show. Speaker 2 (13:46) Right. So are we. Okay. So we live in. We live in Los Angeles, you and I. So we can, we will be, and we have, and we've discussed with our producer and our friend and our co-host, Simon. We've decided to bring in also fans of the show that are in the industry that have some sort of peripheral Speaker 3 (14:08) connections. Connections, but also fans of the show, but also I would love to have my daughters on the show. And some Speaker 2 (14:19) of the writers and the music Speaker 3 (14:21) and Speaker 2 (14:22) the directors
