Speaker 3 (0:00) Coming up, we've got the most fabulous, stunning Speaker 1 (0:02) Georgie Porter. Oh, thanks. Hi. I had elective C-sections. It was like a nail appointment. It was fantastic. But then, straight away, his little bobby hat on. I was like, wow, did he come with this? Did I throw that? Did I? Really nice. Speaker 2 (0:19) The Speaker 1 (0:20) hardest part, baby, breastfeeding, toddler. That six months, I didn't think we were going to survive. Speaker 3 (0:32) Good morning. Bonjour. Bonjour. Shabba. Good God. Shabba? Shabba. Good morning, darling. Speaker 2 (0:41) How Speaker 3 (0:41) are you? I'm really tired. Why? Had a great night's sleep. Was it snoring or was it children? All of it. All of it. Snoring, children, and then my radio went off twice in the night to start playing music. And would it be one of your children? Lady in Red, in the middle of the night. And I work up going, what the Speaker 2 (1:02) hell is this? Speaker 3 (1:03) Maybe that's why I'm wearing pink today. I don't know. Speaker 2 (1:05) Lady in pink. We're Speaker 3 (1:06) both wearing pink. Speaker 2 (1:07) We are. We are matching matches. I love it. I think we should do this more often. I Speaker 3 (1:10) feel very tired today. Speaker 2 (1:11) It's hard when you feel like that though. Speaker 3 (1:13) It's 10 to 9 and I've had three coffees already. Speaker 2 (1:16) Yeah, and you're having the certain company of coffee that I've read, like one coffee is like the equivalent to three Red Bulls. Yes, I mean, I'm having Speaker 3 (1:24) palpitations as we speak. So you've had a Speaker 2 (1:26) crate of Red Bull this morning. I know. Speaker 3 (1:28) Oh, such fun. Speaker 2 (1:30) It's fine. So if I look like a tired wreck, I am. Yeah, but you're a mum. This is what we do. It's like kids Speaker 3 (1:37) are Speaker 2 (1:37) back at school. Do you enjoy the routine of the kids being back at school? Speaker 3 (1:43) Yes and no. I mean, I don't enjoy like, you know, the whole like we have to be up at this time, we have to leave the house at this time and all the uniforms and all the different clubs and la la la la. You kind of feel like, no, it's no, the answer. No, it really annoys me. Speaker 2 (1:59) Because I've always been like, oh, I love it when they're at school. Not as in to get rid of them. I mean, that helps. But I just mean, like when they're at school, you've got that routine of being like, right, come on, we need to go to bed at this time at night because you are going to be up at that time tomorrow. But there is such a part of me that with the kids ages that they're at now is I absolutely loved the summer. Speaker 3 (2:19) Like I really loved it. Speaker 2 (2:21) And in the past, because we have our really busy period with our student letting company, the move in, move out. It's just absolute chaos. My in-laws come and live with us every year for a month. And it's just, I find it like, well. We're sort of used to it now and we're grateful for them to help us because otherwise we couldn't do what we're doing. Speaker 3 (2:41) But Speaker 2 (2:41) I've really enjoyed like over the summer not having that routine, but getting up a little bit later and life being a bit more relaxed. Although it's chaos when you're at home, you do have the option to be like, right, okay, what toys have we got under the bed? When Speaker 3 (2:59) kids are off school, do you keep them up later? Speaker 2 (3:04) Yes. Speaker 3 (3:04) Oh, yeah. So then it's really hard to get them back into the whole like, oh, actually, we're going to bed two hours earlier now. From now on. Yeah. There's no more movies late at night now. You know that fun we've been having together. Fun's over. Like when I get Annabelle to bed, that's when Bradley and Logan are like, Speaker 2 (3:19) oh, can Speaker 3 (3:19) we Speaker 2 (3:20) build some Lego? Or can we do this? Can we do that? And that's when we get, oh, can we play Uno around the table or watch a film? And that's when we have that time that they need from having a baby sister that kind of dominates everything. Speaker 3 (3:32) Kind of goes into my fail, actually. We, you know, we have our movie nights. Yeah. It's about a movie night and it's really hard for the whole family to agree on something because we're all different ages. Yeah. But we agreed on watching Grown Ups with Adam Sandler. I've never seen it before. Have you seen it? Yeah. So it's really cool. In the movie, Adam Sandler's wife, I think it's Salma Hayek, talks about how the tooth fairy isn't real. Oh, Christ. And Inca's there going, what? And I'm like, no, no, she's just kidding. Of course the tooth fairy's real. And then you've got my other two sons going, yeah, yeah, it's real. And I was just thinking, have I just ruined the tooth fairy for her? As she's toothless. You know, like. Very wealthy. Ink Speaker 2 (4:16) is absolutely balling at the minute. Yeah, she's Speaker 3 (4:18) minted right now. Yeah, so I feel like we ruined her tooth fairy experience. And has she asked you about? she's like, mummy, is it like I put to bed that night? She's like, mummy, is the tooth fairy actually real? Like, is it actually? Do your kids say that? Is it actually? Speaker 2 (4:33) Is it like literally? Speaker 3 (4:34) Is Speaker 2 (4:35) it Speaker 3 (4:35) actually? Yeah. Speaker 2 (4:36) And I'm like, actually, she is real. It becomes hard when like Bradley had had this really intense conversation with me, asking me about the tooth fairy, about. the Easter bunny, about Santa, about wet dreams, like the whole conversation. Speaker 3 (4:53) I Speaker 2 (4:53) love that, Tooth Fairy, Santa, Speaker 3 (4:55) wet dreams. Speaker 2 (4:55) Like, typical boy. And now that we had the discussion and I confirmed about the Tooth Fairy situation to Speaker 3 (5:05) Bradley. You told him the truth? Speaker 2 (5:06) Yeah, well he was like, Mummy, I know it's you. And I was like, how do you know that? He's like, because when my last tooth came out, you put your arm under my pillow and took the tooth. And I was awake when you did it and you put money there. I was like. Was he calling a bluff? No, because I did wake him up when I did it. I was like, oh, big morning stretch. And then put my arm under the pillow. And I was like trying to find this fucking tooth. And he didn't put it into the little pot that he should have put it into. But because he knows and he loves the fact he knows that it's not real. He, when I talked to Logan about it, he was looking at me going, oh, yeah. Because the tooth fairy's going to come, isn't it, mummy? You know, as if he's about 20. I'm like, you're 10 years old, hon. Like, stop. What are you doing? He's like, well, Logan, I bet you can't wait to lose your next tooth. Speaker 3 (5:56) Sonny lost a tooth recently. And he's 11 and he lost a tooth. Must be one of the last ones. Speaker 3 (6:05) And he knows. Speaker 2 (6:07) Yeah. Speaker 3 (6:07) And so he didn't, you know, there was no money, whatever. Because he knows. But then the next morning he was like, mum, there was no money under my pillow. Yeah, Speaker 2 (6:16) because he's smart, Louise. But then I felt Speaker 3 (6:18) really bad because I thought, because, you know, even when I found out that there was no, I really hope there's no little people listening to this right now, if there is, turn it off. But when I realised there was no Santa. Yeah. I still got stockings from my mum until I was like in my 20s. Speaker 2 (6:35) Yeah. Speaker 3 (6:35) So I felt bad that even though Sonny realised that there was no tooth fairy, that he didn't get the money. Yeah, you've got Speaker 2 (6:41) to keep bankrolling it till the whole set of nashes are out. Like when my Speaker 3 (6:44) mum, two years ago, Speaker 2 (6:46) she didn't give me an advent calendar. She brings advent calendars for the kids. Wait, you didn't get one as an adult? Yes, Louise. Speaker 3 (6:56) I'm like, my mum. Take the chocolate out of them, how she does with your Easter eggs. Speaker 2 (7:02) You just get pep choshana. And the wee cab is creaming. You just get a wee picture. It's like, hmm, there was definitely remnants of chocolate. Speaker 3 (7:12) I Speaker 2 (7:13) can see the foil completely broken. Mum's put four pounds on, but she had a great time. But I'm like, Mum, if you get the kids an advent calendar, I also need one. Oh, wow. This is a rule. I'll get you an advent Speaker 3 (7:25) calendar, babe. Thanks, Louise. Speaker 2 (7:26) You'll get me a really rude one. Won't you? Can you get rude ones? I'll Speaker 3 (7:30) bet you can. I remember you telling me about your mates who had their own advent calendar, which was like... sexual favors to each other yeah Speaker 2 (7:36) yeah can they do they sell them i mean i should we should investigate i'll tell you what louise this is a business idea for us we should make the most like rudest cheekiest advent calendar maybe there Speaker 3 (7:50) should be a no parental guidance advent calendar yeah Speaker 2 (7:52) with gin and sex positions yes Speaker 3 (7:55) and fails under the little door that you open so you can see all the fails from our lovely community yeah Speaker 2 (8:01) that'd be great this is a great idea that does actually bring me to one of my fails okay hit me Speaker 3 (8:06) um Speaker 2 (8:06) earlier this summer so we went for a wedding to Santorini which was beautiful stunning Speaker 3 (8:12) and Speaker 2 (8:12) went to I mean Santorini is amazing but uh to take a three-year-old an eight-year-old and a ten-year-old not so stunning um to a wedding at a cliff top with uh perspex that comes up a meter in Speaker 3 (8:22) a bit and i've been there and it's not the best place to take kids it's stunning but all those steps Speaker 2 (8:26) yeah anxiety yeah overload um and we went into this little shop because it wasn't really much to do but i said right you can both choose something under 10 euros And Annabelle was picking everything up. You know, they always have the little mirrors, compact mirrors everywhere. And Annabelle's like, please don't touch them. Like smash them. And Bradley said, oh, I'd really like to get the wrestling. And I said, oh, okay, cool. You get the wrestling cards then. Logan, what do you want? And he saw this little key ring with a little diamante on it. He was like, I want that jewelry to put in my jewelry box because he thinks he's collecting treasure. And we got to the desk and Bradley handed me the cards. And it Speaker 3 (9:07) was Speaker 2 (9:07) fucking Kama Sutra. Sex position cards. There were like four blokes at it. Oh my God. And he thought they were wrestling. There were like, you know, like ancient Egypt, Egyptian kind of pictures, like drawings. And there's just these four blokes with like absolute stonkons. Speaker 3 (9:27) Or was he saying to your mum they're wrestling cars, knowing full well, that looks like her willy. Speaker 2 (9:31) Yeah, that's a penis. And then Andy's like, ooh. But I said, oh, Bradley, they're... I think actually we're probably better not to get the wrestling cards. Why don't we get something else? Why don't we get something else? Like a key ring or something. Why don't we do that for your school bag? He's like, because I don't want to. And the more he was looking at it, he was like, oh. And then he turned the pack over and the lady in the shop looked at me and she was like, he's not the first child to do this. How Speaker 3 (10:01) about don't leave it by the counter? Why are Speaker 2 (10:03) you putting, like, why? Why? Why? So we didn't get them. No, well, good. I bribed Speaker 3 (10:08) him. Speaker 2 (10:08) Did Andy Speaker 3 (10:08) get them? No, Speaker 2 (10:09) we didn't. Did he, like, kind of flash Speaker 3 (10:10) you a card and be like, that's what I want to do later? And Speaker 2 (10:13) I'd be like, cool, good for you. We're on holiday with three kids. Like, wow. It was like that holiday hit a bit different. Yeah. Speaker 3 (10:21) Well, today on the show, we've got the most fabulous, stunning actress, model, mum, Georgie Speaker 1 (10:27) Porter. Oh, thanks. Hi. Speaker 3 (10:29) Thank you for having me, ladies. Oh, like, so pleased that you're here. Honestly. Speaker 1 (10:33) Stunning. Oh, thanks. I literally did my own makeup, got here, got my makeup done again. Probably will want a break, have more makeup. I'm joking. Speaker 3 (10:40) Well, we talked, didn't we, just before we started recording that you stayed overnight last night, kid-free, which does feel like... Speaker 1 (10:48) I don't really know what to do with my hands when I'm Speaker 2 (10:49) walking down the street. You know when you're like, do this and you're like, oh, I'm Speaker 1 (10:53) not. Speaker 2 (10:53) Where's Speaker 1 (10:53) the Speaker 2 (10:53) portable potty in the bag for life? What are we doing here? Why am I not a child Speaker 1 (10:56) on my shoulders? Like, Speaker 2 (10:57) what am I doing? Speaker 1 (10:57) Why am I not running after one? So it was
