Speaker 3 (0:00) Taylor Swift just made a VMA history. Madonna is reminding everybody why she is still the queen of pop. And somehow that's not even the messiest thing we're gonna be discussing today. Because while Hollywood was busy handing out moon men. Michael Fishman is waving the white flag in his increasingly nasty feud with Roseanne Barr. Lindsay Clancy's headed back to court. Melania Giudice, we have new leaked body cam footage from the airport when cops detained her. And a new twist in the Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni legal saga. A new theory in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie and all the chaos surrounding the Mormon wives. And we got a very special Jersey Shore engagement. court is in session the group Speaker 2 (0:42) chat is open and i have lots of thoughts let's dive in Speaker 3 (0:46) this is no filter with zack peter your go-to source for all the latest pop culture and reality tvt surf fresh all week long now let's dive in Speaker 3 (1:06) What's up, everybody in the clear? Welcome on in, welcome on in, welcome on in. How's everybody doing? Happy Monday. Hope you guys had a great weekend. I had a great weekend. I had maybe one too many cocktails, and now I'm like, I need a detox. But not only do I feel like I need a detox, but I'm on a doctor-prescribed candida cleanse. Apparently, I have too much candida in my gut, and so... We are going to be killing all of the candida in my body. So for the next 30 days, I am giving up alcohol and I am giving up sugar, mostly added sugar, processed sugar. If anybody wants to join the candida cleanse with me, but it's like we're like doing a real candida cleanse. I like have to take fluconazole and some candida supplements. It's like a full 30 day cleanse. So I'm excited. Today is day one. So if you would like to maybe do it for two weeks, three weeks, you don't need to do the full month with me, but. Yeah, we'll see. We shall see. So yeah, lots of soda water instead of cocktails. I'm gonna have lots of soda water and lemon, maybe a little Diet Coke here Speaker 2 (2:20) and there, Speaker 3 (2:20) but we'll see. Okay, lots to get into, everybody in the club. Let's see. Should we start with the VMAs? I feel like, okay, VMAs. Speaker 2 (2:32) Here we go. Speaker 3 (2:33) Taylor Swift. One, the video of the year. She really cleaned house at the VMAs for The Fate of Ophelia. That was the one that she launched in theaters. Remember with the behind the scenes, little BTS footage that she featured in that. It was like a kind of like a watch party where you went and then you got to, she played the album song by song with the lyrics. So you got to like, I don't know, have a listening party with her in theaters. Cute. But so she won video of the year for Fate of Ophelia, which it was a good music video. And she officially became the most awarded artist in VMA history. Say what? Okay, Taylor. Yeah. And then she did like a nice little tribute and honor Dolly Parton. She also got the inaugural artist director honors, which kind of just feels like a made up award that they made just for Taylor Swift. But yeah, Speaker 2 (3:27) so Speaker 3 (3:28) Fate of Ophelia. Great. She also premiered her star-packed Patient Zero music video that she's been teasing. We knew that Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell were going to be in it. Then we got the official debut at the VMAs. So if you watch that, it was fine. I mean, I feel like the era of, what was it, Reputation, when she would like really go all out with the music videos and the cameos and all that stuff, like it was exciting then. And now I'm just kind of like, Speaker 2 (3:54) okay, she's Speaker 3 (3:54) got another music video. Speaker 2 (3:56) Cute. Speaker 3 (3:58) Like, I don't know. I just, the, and also Patient Zero is just, it's fine. It's a song about her, how her ex screwed over the next ex. And. Speaker 3 (4:12) No, like her ex's current ex is now reaching out to her and it's like, hey, you know, he was a douchebag to me too. And she was like, oh, don't worry. I was patient zero. It's like Brittany Cartwright calling Stassi Schroeder. And Stassi was like, I was patient zero. Or Ariana Maddox calling Kristen Doughty. And Kristen was like, I was patient zero. So that's basically what the song is about. Speaker 3 (4:39) Madonna actually really cleaned house. She won seven awards at the VMAs. And she, listen, I mean, Madonna, Speaker 1 (4:46) here's what I'll say about Madonna. Speaker 3 (4:49) I'm glad that her face is not as crazy alien looking like it had been for the last several years. But like now her body is like looking kind of strange, right? Like her, like she's, I know we're not supposed to talk about women's bodies and stuff, but it's just the way she dresses. She's making herself look like an M &M. Oh, wait. Speaker 3 (5:11) Kendria says, no, Zach, she was a ghost and she's haunting the new girlfriend to keep her from drinking the fluid because he's poisoning her. Yeah, Speaker 2 (5:18) she Speaker 3 (5:19) was patient. She was patient here. The music video is about her haunting the new girlfriend, but the whole point is like she's trying to protect the new girlfriend. Yeah, Speaker 2 (5:28) that's literally what I just said. Speaker 3 (5:30) You ruined my Madonna Eminem joke. But anyway, Madonna's starting to look like the Eminem lady, right? With the long. the long legs and the boots and then her body like it's just it makes her torso look smaller so it just like it makes her look like she has like the m m shape and i just i don't know to me i'm just kind of like madonna like like sometimes you can dress for your body in a way that like enhances certain parts of your body but i just feel like madonna's not doing that but good for her she won all seven of her awards and she's doing the damn thing. I mean, for Madonna to be cleaning house at the VMAs alongside Taylor Swift kind of like shows like Madonna is the queen of pop. She will always be the queen of pop and she will always be bitch. Speaker 2 (6:13) It's Madonna. But yeah, I Speaker 3 (6:17) think, oh, they also had Nirvana. Nirvana won the video Van Gogh award, which, you know, I love me some Nirvana, even though people troll me for my Nirvana shirts because they think that they're, they're basic. Well, it's okay. I actually grew up listening. to Nirvana because my mom loved all that alt rock. But yeah, I mean, I get why they're like really bringing in Madonna and Nirvana because they're trying to like, it's nostalgia bait, right? And I feel like nostalgia bait is so common right now. Like everybody loves like, oh, take me back. They like want that. Speaker 2 (6:48) I don't know. They want to feel Speaker 3 (6:49) young again. I mean, but a lot of the celebrities that they had at the VMAs, I was like, who the fuck is this? Like who? I have no idea who these little girls are. Like, who is this little girl? Who is this kid? Like, why are they like, who are they? What in the TikTok is going on here? But it also begs the question of like, are the VMAs still relevant? Like, I remember. in the 2000s and even in the early 2010s they were like the event the video music awards and the mtv movie awards like that's where like that was a like award shows in general used to be like a thing but specifically the vmas because that was the fun one that was where people came and they had these crazy fun outfits like crazy fun outfits right not crazy like um Speaker 3 (7:37) you know, like how, like the Met Gala, they just like, they try to go a little too avant-garde, you know? And it doesn't really, like, it's just kind of weird. And it's like, we're trying too hard to be like trying too hard. Whereas before, like, you know, Katy Perry would wear like the blocks on her head and Lady Gaga wore the meat dress. Like it was meant to be like campy in a fun way. And the outfits were meant to be campy and they were meant to be like, there was meant to be like a lot of shock value. And it gave Joan Rivers plenty of material. Now I just feel like, but the MTV, like it's not what it used to be. I don't even watch these award shows anymore the way that I used to. Now I just kind of get TikTok and Instagram recaps or. I actually lived through my friend Molly Dare's Instagram stories. That's how I stay up to date. That's where I get my news is from Molly Dare Media. So follow Molly Dare Media on Instagram because that is literally the most important news, the news that I care about. I always get it. I check every morning. I go onto Molly's Instagram to see what she's posting on her stories. And so I got my full VMAs recap from Molly. because I was just watching all the clips on her Instagram stories. And I was like, oh, and you see like the first 15 seconds. You're like, do I want to watch more of that? And you're like, I like it. Speaker 2 (8:50) I like it, Picasso. And Speaker 3 (8:51) then if you don't, you're like, eh, okay, swipe left. Thank you, next. Speaker 2 (8:56) Thank you. Thank you. Speaker 3 (8:58) Next. Thank you. Next. Bit of breaking news. Well, I guess sort of. Last week we saw that Melania Giudice was detained by cops at the Tampa airport. It looks like, well, we have more to the, more to what went down in Tampa at the airport, but it looks like they were. collecting her, Gia and Teresa were coming to get Melania to take her to treatment. I'm assuming drug Speaker 2 (9:27) treatment. Speaker 3 (9:28) So there is body cam footage from two different angles and it shows them at the airport. Melania is kind of like detained by a group of. Police officers. Apparently there were more than what we saw when Melania was filming her video. Because last week we saw that she posted like a clip on her Instagram and it was her mom, Teresa and Gia. And they were surrounded by all these cops at the airport. And Melania was like, this is what we do now. This is what we do now. Really? This is what we do now. And then Teresa was like, I love you. I love you. I love you. And Gia's like, let her do her thing. Like, just let her do what she's doing. And so now we get the full body cam footage. So apparently cops had like found Melania. They detained her and were holding her until Teresa and Gia were able to come and collect her, I don't know, take her onto the plane. But so it appears they were leaving Tampa to take her into some sort of, I assume, rehab. They were saying treatment. We know that, I guess, she had like a hospital stay. And now that I'm thinking about it, because as they collect her, first comes Gia, and Gia's like... Okay, calm down. She's like, where, like, I want to leave. Can I just go? Can I just go? And then she's like really having a full kind of like meltdown. Like it's actually really sad. And then eventually Teresa comes into the picture and Teresa, and then she's like, oh, there she is. Teresa, Teresa Giudice. She's like, you wanted to cause a whole scene. Let's cause a whole scene. And the cops are like, you need to calm down. Cops like, you need to stop whatever this is. This is not okay. And then so. Teresa's like, okay, can you escort us to, um, on to, to the gate? And they're like, of course we can take you. But they're like, she needs to calm down because like, they're not going to let her on the plane. Um, if she behaves like this, and then there's a portion where as they're walking to the gate, they're in the elevator. And Teresa says, you know, we're just trying to get you help. And Melania's like, I don't want to talk to you anymore. I'm done with you. And she's just like, well, I'm trying to save your life. And after you get help, after I save your life, then you can never talk to me again. But first, we're going to save your life. And she's, you know, Teresa's very calm. She's, you know, Gia, you can tell, is just frustrated and over Melania and her antics. Whereas Teresa did, like, a really good job of, like, trying to stay calm, not escalating it, not, you know, Speaker 2 (11:43) not. Speaker 3 (11:46) trying to make a bigger scene. And Melania is just being chaotic as ever. And then, but she does reveal, she's like, we're trying to get you help. And then Teresa does tell the cop that Melania had fentanyl in her system. And then Melania says, it was, it was, I was laced. She's like, I'm a college student. I was laced. And so. I'm assuming, this is conjecture, this is me just trying to put the pieces together. She was in the hospital. We now hear that she had fentanyl in her system. They're now taking her to a treatment center, presumably for substance abuse or for, you know, possibly drugs, right? Which to me, and she's saying she was laced. So I'm thinking maybe there was something that she got. Maybe it was weed. Maybe it was something that happened to have been laced with fentanyl, which ultimately. put her in the hospital. And that may have been what the hospital stint was. And so that may be where Teresa was like, okay, no, we're taking you into a treatment center. We're getting you help. And that's where she kept saying, we're going to save your life. And that's why I Speaker 2 (12:46) said like a Speaker 3 (12:46) lot of Speaker 2 (12:46) her behavior did seem a little, it was Speaker 3 (12:49) very erratic. Speaker 2 (12:49) And Speaker 3 (12:50) it was like, you know, I was thinking it may have been substance induced. And then obviously Melania, her team issued a statement and then Joe Giudice issued a statement. I was like, oh, maybe it really is just like grief and mental health issues. But no, now it does appear that there is some sort of substance abuse that's going on. that's what it looked like to me based off of her behavior at the airport, based off of Teresa's comment about there being fentanyl in her system. It seems like there's a lot more that's going on. And then remember we played that clip last week. Was that on Friday or Thursday of her, which is like, it's my first day of college. And she like really seemed high. And it seemed that seemed to me more than weed. Cause weed kind of makes you a little dopey, right? It makes your eyelids really heavy. And you're just like, Hey, like you were really chill. This was like a. Like it was giving fentanyl to me when I saw that. That's what I was like, oh, this doesn't look healthy. This doesn't look good. This is it's giving Fenty. It's giving. I mean, listen, there's plenty of fentanyl going around Los Angeles. You can see it all over the streets. But. Yeah. Tanya says, was she trying to numb out with weed and it was laced? That's scary. I think that's what was going on. I think she was trying to numb the pain that she's feeling of losing her friend, Victoria. I mean, it's only been what, less than two months since Victoria died. So it's, it's tough. Holly says the siblings of next gen there, the ladies are really struggling. Yeah. I mean, but this is like, we're seeing the next era, the next arc of housewives, right? We're seeing. Melania struggle with what appears to be substance abuse. We're seeing Mary Cosby, her son literally just died of substance abuse. We're seeing the Beermans, right? Kim Zolciak's son, KJ, who's now facing all of these felony charges for assault and battery. Speaker 3 (14:46) Crazy stuff. But you're right. But now we're seeing next-gen NYC. We're really seeing how the first-gen is affecting this next-gen. And that's, oh, and Nona died. That's right. She also just lost her Nona. And this
