Speaker 2 (0:00) We'll take four times 200, that's 800 referrals. Well, a lot of them know the same people, so maybe it's 400 referrals. Maybe it's only 200 referrals. It's a lot. It's more than enough to generate $75,000 in 90 days. Speaker 3 (0:14) Subtle skills, big results. Speaker 1 (0:17) Welcome to the Ninja Selling Podcast. Speaker 3 (0:21) Hey everybody, it's Rob Nelson and I am here with the GOAT, Larry Kendall. Thanks for coming back to the Ninja Selling Podcast. I appreciate you being here. I've got a quick question for you to start us off. Sure. You just finished your first three-day Ninja installation. Tell us how it went. Speaker 2 (0:38) Went great. We had great feedback. We had a very experienced group of Ninjas in that room. 20-25 % of them had been through multiple Ninja installations, which was the four-day. And we've streamlined it to the three-day plus the Ninja 90. They absolutely loved it. Yeah. Speaker 3 (0:53) Great feedback. One of the summertime transitions in the Ninja installation was that it went from being a four-day course to what we're calling the three-day in-person experience paired with Ninja 90. It's one tuition that covers three days in the classroom. And then what we do is come beside you in your business. every Monday for 12 weeks, virtually for an hour, and a small group of people implement the knowledge that they learned in the Ninja installation. Yep. And so far, so good. Larry made it through his first. We probably taught in the neighborhood of a dozen of them, but we think we found the recipe for the future. Speaker 2 (1:28) Well, we've been teaching Ninja Nightingale for two years, and then we're getting the results. That's why we decided to pair the two, because we wanted people to come out of the installation and immediately have an implementation program. And we've been doing them separately for the last two years. It only made sense to put them together. So we put them together. Yeah, Speaker 3 (1:47) it's the results formula. So, Larry, one of the coolest things about the installations and really about the installations in Fort Collins in particular is that we have so many prior installation attendees. We had people that were there for their 11th install, many in that. five, six, seven, eight range. A lot of these people have seen the material. They probably mastered the material and they keep coming back because it recharges their batteries, but also the moments between the lessons. And what I mean by that is the people who gather for dinners or they catch each other on the break and they just have these collaborative conversations. And so, as you know, we like to hang around those people. They have interesting and fun things to talk about. And on day three of the installation, there's an exercise. Tell us about the letter exercise and what you experienced in one person in particular's letter. Speaker 2 (2:38) Well, the letter exercise, we start the day with having them write a letter, and it's dated that day, but a year in advance. So it was dated September, I think, 18th, 2027. And they write the letter to somebody important in their life. It could be somebody who's a spouse, partner, a manager, a best friend, a child of theirs. Anybody really that's important in their life, they write that letter to them as if it's a year from now. And they look back on their year and it might start. Mom, a year ago today, I was in a ninja installation class. I just want to share with you the amazing things that have happened in my life over the last year. And Speaker 3 (3:18) this time, one letter in particular stood out to me. Every time we have a few people read their letters, they're always powerful in their own way. And there was a woman in the class who stood up and read her letter that she had written to her husband. Pretty normal, right? Except for her husband was sitting next to her in the installation. And they didn't look at each other's letters as they were writing them, but she had written it to him and he sat there and she read it. And the thing that really impacted me in that moment was that she said, I'm so proud of you for having been able to transition from your full-time job in your prior career into a full-time job in your new career in real estate. So he's selling real estate part-time right now. And the part of her letter that really stood out to me is that he is currently a CPA. He Speaker 2 (4:07) has a profession. Speaker 3 (4:08) And it is not just somebody who's trying to make ends meet on the side while getting their real estate business launched, but he's making career change. And in the breaks, we had a few moments to connect. And I said to him, I said, that is really cool. I'm really excited for you. Tell me what needs to happen. And so his message to me was that there's a number. We have a number. When we hit that number, I'm ready to pull the trigger and leave my corporate accounting job, go over into real estate full time. And I say, can I ask? And he said, you can. It's $75,000 is that number. And I thought to myself, you are a whole lot closer than you think. But I know it can feel daunting to be there. So I said, well, where are we so far? Been in the business a little over a year, 10 transactions under his belt. two active listings. So Larry Kendall, will you coach me live as if I was him around what should
