Speaker 3 (0:00) What would have to happen by the end of 2026 for me to look back on 2026 and consider it a success? So, first rule, in order to pick something up, you have to put something down. Speaker 6 (0:13) Go the 5 % distance. It's going to be scary as all head, it will drive you to the ground, you'll fail a few times, you'll fall on your face. Get up, keep getting up, keep getting up. If you don't, you have to be happy for the rest of your life. If you don't take the last 5%, to be happy the rest of your life knowing you went to somebody else's door and knocked on their door and you could have been that guy. When there's no physical strength left, when there's no energy left, when there's no speed left, when there's no joy left in that fight, all they have left is the will to get back up again. Speaker 1 (0:51) But I had this fire that I'm going to be somebody. And it has to be there because on all those bad days and all those days you don't want to do shit, you have to be your own motivator, your own coach, your own trainer, your own everything. Speaker 5 (1:07) If you're going to do it, do it. Speaker 5 (1:12) Say what you can do. Do what you say. If you can't do it, don't say you can do it. Don't over-leverage yourself. Don't over-leverage a decision and then jump in and kind of dip a toe. I think I'll try it out. Now, think if you're going to try it out beforehand, but when it's time to go, dive. Speaker 2 (1:27) And for the people who are listening who, that doesn't feel like they can change the circumstances with the way they think or they feel, just hold on. Speaker 1 (1:36) Just Speaker 2 (1:36) endure. Look at things differently. Challenge yourself to look at things as the glass half full. Challenge yourself to think four steps ahead. The Speaker 4 (1:46) people who doubted you, good. They're fuel. The ones who left, good. They cleared space. The ones who talked behind your back, the ones who laughed at you, they just gave you Speaker 1 (1:59) something to smile about when you proved them wrong. You're sitting around watching people progress in their lives and you're sitting around thinking to yourself, Why can't I be like this person? Why do you need to be like anybody else? Why can't you just be you? Why can't you just be true to who you are? Speaker 4 (2:21) Don't listen to anyone. Everybody's full of shit. Nobody knows you or what you're capable of doing. The hardest thing in life is figuring out who you are and what you want to do for the rest of your life. It's a big decision. It's impossible for you to fail if you know who you are. what you want to do and you wake up every day and work toward it. Finish it. Find out. Come out the other side. Speaker 5 (2:45) Don't leave it and go. Speaker 5 (2:48) If I just thought, uh-uh, that keeps me up at night. I think it keeps a lot of us up at night. When you half-ass something that you just don't know, whether you failed or succeeded, got what you want or didn't get what you want, finding out and looking in the mirror and going, I didn't half-ass it. I went all the way. I found out, and that ain't for me. Or I found out, and you're damn right that is for me. That's a great place to get to. You don't want someone else's fate. Man, your fate's enough, and your adventure's enough. It's plenty. It's more than you can ever fully realize. And if you're in dire straits and dire circumstances, just look at how much opportunity you have to make things better. Speaker 2 (3:26) You want to be Speaker 1 (3:27) a man? Speaker 2 (3:29) You Speaker 1 (3:29) want to be a real man? You think you're tough? Go say sorry to all the people you've hurt emotionally first. That's a man. Speaker 5 (3:41) Could change should change Don't change you're on the wrong track Letters you haven't written conversations you haven't had with your family Somebody you should sit down with when you get back home get that job done Don't let neglect destroy your days destroy your life and destroy your future go back and do what you can and If you'll do what you can then life will give you some extraordinary things to do Speaker 5 (4:10) We all pity the man, right? Wants to stride out of his house, go straighten out the corporation, has not yet straightened out his garage. Speaker 5 (4:18) You've got to take care of the small disciplines before life will give you a chance to handle the more complicated disciplines. Speaker 3 (4:23) Don't buy into someone else's narrative. That's what you're doing by listening to the failure, whether it's absolute words coming out of someone's mouth saying, well, you're no good. I think you just have to own your narrative. You are you. In this world of many, many billions of people, you are completely unique because your personality belongs to you. Don't try and change that. Don't try and be the person that other people want you to be. Be the person you are. Speaker 6 (4:51) Why not try it, man? What's the worst that can happen? What's the worst that can happen? You fail, but you're happy, meaning that you did something. You decided to do it, you said you were going to do it, and you did it. If it doesn't work out, at least you know the outcome, you know? You know, I'd much rather try and fail than wonder what if the rest of my life, if I could have won. They feel like hell, but they fight like hell. We all do. All real men do. You say, Dwayne, I don't feel like that. Then you have nothing in your life and you're living for yourself. If you have someone in your life, something in your life that you care about, that you're struggling for, there's going to come times when you feel like that. Speaker 1 (5:34) People cap themselves. They look at somebody and because their mind can't imagine it. They then start talking shit. He has to be doing this. He has to be doing that. There has to be some trick. There has to be some potion. This is bullshit. No. It's because you cannot allow your mind to open up for the possibility of it can be done. Speaker 6 (5:59) You don't take that last 5%. It's a knock on somebody else's door guarantee There's only a certain window for opportunity for success. This is your opportunity of a lifetime Take the Speaker 5 (6:14) 5%. Every time you hide in procrastination, you choose the fake safety of hypothetical excellence over the real messy human business of trying and failing and trying again. You choose the version of you who could have done great things over the version of you who actually might. And this is the uncomfortable truth. Procrastination is often not about indecision. It's a decision to live in theory. rather than in practice. Speaker 6 (7:05) It's necessary to know that everybody won't see it, that everybody won't join you, that everybody won't have the vision. It's necessary to know that, that a lot of people like to complain, but they don't want to do anything about their situation, that you are an uncommon breed. You know you have to know within yourself. That I can do this even if no one else sees it for me I must see it for myself the same thing in life is the same thing here. We can do this you can do anything anything Right now you're 5 % away. 5 % away from being a champion. The people that know that if it's going to happen, it's up to them. And Speaker 2 (7:47) they're resolving within themselves, it's not over until I win. You will go to Cali. You will live in that house. You will get a pool. You will learn how to swim. You will be in the sun in the wintertime. You will live your best life. Speaker 5 (8:02) You are a man. Stand up and be a man. Speaker 5 (8:07) And if you are not a person that you are comfortable being alone with, that is the one person in this universe that you have full power, full right and full responsibility to change. A friend of mine years ago taught me when I was coming up and I was deciding if I was going to do this. He said, I think that Speaker 8 (8:31) means if not now, then when? So whatever you want to do. Speaker 1 (8:36) Do it. Stop talking about it. Stop thinking about it. Speaker 4 (8:40) Stop Speaker 1 (8:41) telling people what you're going to do Speaker 4 (8:42) and just freaking do it. Get up and do it. Take one step. Don't look a thousand cars ahead. Look one. Take one step. That's all you need to do. If Speaker 8 (8:53) I have one legacy, if I create more bold people in this world, I will be happy because we've got too many timid hairs out there. We need more bold lions. Speaker 5 (9:02) Start your business. Write that book. Speaker 3 (9:05) Do it. Just do it, please. I've tried to eliminate as much time between I think I should do this thing and beginning doing it. And I
