Speaker 6 (0:51) Oil experts say flows are now near pre-war levels, while the U.S. economy grew beyond expectations last quarter. How will this affect Americans' wallets? While Speaker 3 (1:01) oil is flowing again, refinery capacity is still really constrained, both in the Middle East and, of course, in Russia. And as Secretary Hegseth Speaker 6 (1:12) reveals big changes in his State of the Force address, President Trump announces the full withdrawal of the last troops in Iraq. I Speaker 1 (1:20) had a choice to Stay or to leave and felt without question that it was time for America to go home. Speaker 6 (1:27) Thanks for waking up with Morning Wire. Stay tuned. We have the news you need to know. Speaker 6 (1:33) Imagine inviting about a dozen friends to pray in your home and then your city telling you to get the government's permission first. That's what happened to Daniel Grant. He's a devout Orthodox Jew in University Heights, Ohio. When he planned a small prayer meeting at home, the city ordered him to get a permit, classified his house as a place of religious assembly, and even recruited his neighbors to spy on him and report any violations. To get the permit, Daniel would have to stop living in his own home. An impossible choice, of course, abandon his faith or give up his house. Yet when he filed a lawsuit to exercise his constitutional rights, federal courts told him he needed to complete the permitting process first. If you're thinking this can't be happening in America, you're not alone. That's why Alliance Defending Freedom and Orrick, Harrington, and Sutcliffe are representing Daniel at the U.S. Supreme Court. ADF never bills its clients for their defense, but that's only possible because of supporters like you. Right now, your gift will be doubled by a generous matching grant. Speaker 6 (2:59) A group of passengers aboard an Israel-bound passenger jet stopped an attempted terror attack on Wednesday. Here with more details is Wired In host Cabot Phillips. So Cabot, a dramatic sequence of events yesterday. We're all riveted watching the updates from this and the footage streaming in. So what exactly took place? Yeah, some of the most just Speaker 5 (3:19) incredible and graphic footage that you're ever going to see flooding social media yesterday. This all took place on Fly Dubai flight 1073. It's Speaker 3 (3:29) a Speaker 5 (3:29) Boeing 737 MAX that was flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv with 174 passengers aboard, most of whom were Israeli. About two hours into the flight, as the plane approached Israel, the Arab co-pilot from the country of Oman pulled out a knife and stabbed the captain, an Indian man. Flight tracking then showed the plane dropping 17,000 feet in less than two minutes. Passengers obviously were panicking and it sent out the transponder code signaling a hijacking incident to air traffic control. The Israeli Air Force scrambled fighter jets and had a secret security meeting. But by some miracle, the plane leveled out and landed safely in Saudi Arabia and everyone on board survived. And now we know that that miracle took place because of the heroic actions of folks on board. Speaker 6 (4:12) Right, and those heroic actions were carried out by passengers, correct? Speaker 5 (4:16) Yeah, that's right. So passengers say that they knew something was wrong when they began to hear screaming coming from the cockpit. Some passengers said they heard the words, Allahu Akbar, shouted out. And we now know that the co-pilot stabbed the pilot. while they were at cruising altitude and the heroic pilot, despite suffering severe injuries, was able to crawl to the door bloody of the cockpit and open up that door. And that is when passengers began rushing forward. A number of men can be seen on video just flying down the aisles to get to that cockpit. And some of the passengers said that once they got into the cockpit, they saw the co-pilot, quote, trying to destroy the controls in order to disable the plane. One passenger who met with Prime Minister
