The U.S. launched a new wave of strikes against Iran overnight as President Trump vowed to hit the regime, quote, very hard. following Iran's attempted surprise missile attack on American forces earlier this week. In response, Iran claimed it destroyed three U.S. F-35 fighter jets and killed American personnel in a missile strike on a U.S. base in Jordan. The regime also thanked Jordanians for allegedly providing intelligence from inside American military bases. U.S. Central Command dismissed the claims as false, saying no U.S. aircraft were damaged, none of Iran's missiles reached their targets, and accused Tehran of continuing its long-running campaign of spreading misinformation. President Trump announced a $22.5 billion plan to renovate the Washington-Dulles International Airport. In airport, he described as, quote, one of the worst anywhere in the world.
