Speaker 1 (0:11) Hi guys, welcome back to Moment of Silence Pod. I'm Sakshi Shivdasani. Speaker 2 (0:15) I'm Naina Bhan and I have almost just cried five minutes ago. Technology is my enemy. Number one, we have had a very busy set of days and they're only getting busier because in content creator world seasonality wise festive season is the busiest season and Moss is growing because it's its own content creator and Sakshi and I are growing because we are our own content creators and there's just so much happening that I don't I think we need to schedule cries for ourselves. Yeah, I wonder how she's doing it. Speaker 1 (0:50) A-list celebrities do it because we are like D-list at best but you know it's all good in the hood we decided we would still just come and give you a sort of life update because typically we shoot three episodes in a row but at least we can give you all like a weekly lowdown because vlogging is also so difficult when you actually have things to do Speaker 2 (1:11) So true. Before we get into the episode, I just want to say one big thing. I'm a gigantic Sakshi Shivdasani fan. I've been waiting to say this on the podcast. She's an amazing friend. She's the strongest person I know. And she just makes it all look so effortless. And I know her whole like gag is that she's a complainer. But actually when it gets... down to it when you have to be like knees deep in the shit sakshi shivdasani rallies so hard okay i was literally sitting with my coach in the morning and he's like who was helping sakshi through high rocks where was her coach and i was like she did it herself everybody else was like training for days and months and years sakshi has literally winged it with an entire schedule on the side and done one run sakshi you've done one run i did one run but Speaker 1 (2:03) i i do have to say the amount of love i have for you and all my friends that came to cheer me like liya karima alia sachi my boas my mom like everyone i swear to god i don't think i could have done it if you all weren't actively cheering for me it was um It was such a mental game. And I was so convinced that none of y'all would actually show up because it's 9am on a fucking Sunday. And when I started the race, I didn't see anyone. And I was like, it's fine. You know, I did it. I voluntarily paid to do this. completely fine and then i finished the first station and i can hear people yelling my name and i look over and they're standing there with posters and matching t-shirts that say grab one is that sakshi and ariana grabbing high rocks by the bush which is my favorite saying in the whole world and it was just literally so sweet that i was like now i have to finish it these people have woken up in the morning just for me i have to finish it so thank you so much i don't know why i'm Speaker 2 (3:11) getting so emotional but i have to say like off like you are the kind of person where you don't you don't let anybody i know the again the gag is that sakshi is a complainer but actually irl like sakshi wants everybody to feel super comfortable wants everybody to have a good time and she's like always going out of her way to make sure that every single person in the room feels you know taken care of and She does it at the cost of her own personal life, at the cost of a lot of things and for her to keep pulling up all the time. It is only natural that everyone will come and show up for you man. What you did was insane. Like I'm, I can't even, I was like watching my friend actively like push a sledge, actively like put herself through like physical torment because she wanted to support another friend. That's just too emotional to watch. Speaker 1 (4:04) But my takeaway from doing High Rocks and so is Ariana's takeaway from doing High Rocks is everyone that's training super hard needs to just calm down you just need to have some uh basic level of fitness and decide to do it and you will do it like obviously if you're competing for time and everything because i wouldn't say i did it in some great time we were aiming for sub two hours which for our training is average completely But if you're just doing it for completion, there is no reason. It's like an adult sports day. It was so fun because like all the moms were cheering. I'm convincing my mom to do it. I'm convincing Naina to do it. And I genuinely think y'all can all do it. Now, as someone who's done it, I'm like, yeah, everyone can do it. It's just a mind thing, you know. Speaker 2 (4:53) yeah no i'm with you i i all the people that i spoke to like the trainers the people who are professional athletes they all took it so seriously that each one of them inadvertently one had a cramp one busted their knee one got so excited in the first round they they kind of gave their all and then they got fully like they went they got fully smashed by the end of high rocks but more than anything this is just like the the morbidity of life where My only feeling and fear is that as I grow older, I just want to be strong. Like I need to be physically fit. And I know that that's something that you also feel deeply. Like even when I was in Phuket right now, and I saw all of these older women from other countries and they were chilling. They were in high tide. floating in the ocean and all of the Indian tourists all of the women their knees were so bad they were like struggling to walk and I don't want to be that person I don't want that for my family I don't want like all of us need to take our health so supremely seriously just to be able to be an individual you get robbed of so much of your individuality the minute that you are not able to just do basic life things yeah Speaker 1 (6:05) and I think we're very aligned on the thing that I I'm not even claiming to be the healthiest person in the world. I do have my vices. I do have all of that. But I think the fact that we do strength training more than... I'm not even... Like, this is the first time in the history of my life that I'm not bothered about, like, being... looking a certain way or anything as long as I can enable my body to move. Tomorrow, I'm going to forget. Then I'm going to forget last week. I'm going this week because... that's just how our schedules align but i'm going for the fitness boot camp naina did muay thai classes and when you see that you know you fuel your body in a way that if tomorrow someone's like let's go on a 15 kilometer run your first answer shouldn't be i can't do it and i think half the battle is just saying that you can do it and i know we're sounding like bare biceps and hustle bros in our mentality but there is just something to and the fact that uh me and my brothers also are very into like high rocks or whatever uh my bua has started strength training so that she can hold her grandson for longer and these are things that indian grandparents or just in general they can't do because they don't have the body infrastructure to do it but you don't want your like you know when you mentally decide to do something you don't want your body to not be prepared and i'm like the most average lifter average runner whatever but i it's just that i'm more of a yes sayer than a no sayer you know like so i think that's the only reason i can do things because i'm like yeah let's try and i have no qualms and like if my body genuinely can't do it i'm like yeah i'm Like I attempted it, I tried my best, now I'm dying. I'm not gonna like do something when I can't do it but I'm not gonna say no before I try it. Speaker 2 (7:59) Even when I went for this Muay Thai class and this is after I think I've been pretty consistent at the gym for like since the beginning of this year. Russian instructor, everybody around me was from different countries. I got wiped. in five in the stretches only i got wiped and i was like dude this is me at the peak of my fitness i might be the only person
