Me and Ian went over it this weekend, so we're working on it. Y'all have that. And who knows, man? I like the feedback that we've been getting from these case studies. I have another one that's just on Tuck. So I might release that by the end of the week. But I like, you know, people are reading it. They're making decisions based on it. But more importantly, they're taking the information and seeing how they can apply it, which is dope, man. So we might drop another one of those probably in the chat if you appreciate those. We're going to keep them going. Speaker 5 (5:09) Ian, any announcements? Speaker 6 (5:11) Yeah, Stock Club call was yesterday. We had an amazing time. Shout out to everybody who showed up. So I look forward to seeing you all there. I told y'all when I went back to the suit, it's game time. Shadi in the suit, game time. Put your foot on the gas if you're an entrepreneur. 100 extra output. Back to you, Troy. You got to do Speaker 4 (5:51) it. Got Speaker 6 (5:51) to do it. Absolutely. Absolutely. Speaker 5 (5:53) It's that time. Okay. We got a lot to cover and we got a guest that's coming on. But let's talk about the investment fact of the week. Speaker 6 (6:03) We have a few. The U.S. 10-year is on pace to hit 6 % by the end of the year, so that makes the hurdle rate for investments go up. Normally, an index for ETF would give you 7 % to 12%, but if we get to 6 % on the 10-year, you're going to need 15 % to 20 % to overcome that. Mark Zuckerberg, generational run right now. We'll talk about Muse later, but he snatched the current MongoDB CEO. to bring to their enterprise. So back in the day, it used to be a thing in tech to not poach, but Meta is so big. They're one of the closed loop aggregators that you can't go against. I think this is a great acquisition. And I've been looking, a gentleman earlier this year said the second phase, the most important one will be enterprise. I'm looking to see what Meta builds in terms of enterprise AI and how they begin to roll it out. shadi i know you talked about the whatsapp acquisition last week but this is an interesting spoke that they're adding to that wheel um third goldman is already projecting global ai infrastructure to exceed 1 trillion in 2026. fourth mcdonald's is at a two-year low later we're going to talk about some of the pressures that the retail companies are facing and lastly for my investors all-time nvidia is up for 574 000 percent Up 23,000 % since 2016. I said this on Stock Club Call yesterday. I'll say it here tonight. Pick four companies that you're going to hold for a 10-year period because all the money is made holding long-term. Speaker 4 (7:43) 23 Speaker 6 (7:43) ,000 % since 2016. Speaker 4 (7:47) Yeah, shout out to everybody over at Meta. Tech Summit happened last week. It was dope. I watched the entire thing. So a lot of innovation came from it. A lot of time was spent on the wearables, which is cool. But I think they have something, and we'll talk about it later, hopefully, in terms of product layout. Because the biggest product, I was probably given the least amount of time during the presentation. But my fact is this, man, and I almost forgot this, but we're about to start the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter is here this week. And we've been talking about, you know, how the third quarter usually does a lot of volatility. We usually see a lot of pullback, definitely in the month of August and in September. And here we are at the end of September. October starts this week. And the S &P is up 13%. And that's important. And the reason it's important is because when the S &P enters the fourth quarter with a year-to-date gain, It has continued higher during the fourth quarter approximately 89 % of the time since 1950. Wow. Speaker 6 (8:52) Okay. Talk about almost a guaranteed win. Say it one more time for those of you. I'm Speaker 4 (8:59) going Speaker 6 (8:59) to say Speaker 4 (8:59) it Speaker 6 (8:59) again. Speaker 4 (8:59) So when the S &P enters the fourth quarter, which it will this week. In a year-to-date gain, the S &P is up 13 % currently. It has continued higher during Q4 approximately 89 % of the time since 1950. Speaker 4 (9:17) So I know we talk about volatility and usually end of August, mid-September, we see a lot of downturn almost mid-October. And then fourth quarter, we usually see a rally. In the midterm year, we definitely see a lot more volatility and a lot more downside. Neither has happened thus far. Does that mean it can't happen? No. But if we're basing it on just statistically. speaking and what's happened since 1950, 90 % of the time is a pretty good number to base, you know, your investment strategy on. Speaker 6 (9:54) I love it. I love it. That's a hell of a risk to reward ratio. If you got an 8 % chance, Speaker 4 (9:59) stay Speaker 6 (10:00) long. Speaker 4 (10:01) Yeah, I said this before we came on, but you're in the investment space so much that the days kind of run over into the days. And so when I'm thinking about, oh, when the fourth quarter starts, I'm thinking, oh yeah, that's in a few, wait, it's in a few days. Yes, a few days. Like we're here, October, November, December is our fourth quarter. So that's an interesting statistic. We'll see how we go into the fourth quarter. Obviously, we have huge developments happening this week, obviously, with the president of, well, the president of America meeting with the tech leaders of the world tomorrow and on Wednesday. And obviously, Mike Cronin reports. So a lot of big things happening. Speaker 6 (10:38) Rashad, before we transition, we haven't done Mountain Log in a while. Can we talk really quick about how important it is to stay in the fourth quarter mindset and not just... only in the fourth quarter, like how you've had your foot on the gas all year and why that's important going into this new economy that they won't call a recession, but we feel like it is. Speaker 5 (11:01) Yeah, for sure. It's definitely something we was talking to somebody today that's extremely successful. He was saying that he felt that the jobs of the future, there will be no jobs of the future. It's only like select, you know, the 1 % of the best. So like if you're like the top lawyer, if you're Brian Steele, you're going to have a job. But if you're just like middle of the road, regular lawyer, it's over for you. So I don't think anybody's in a situation where they could be comfortable right now. whether you're investing or whether you're an entrepreneur or whether you're working, whether you're making content, I think it would be highly ill-advised to be comfortable right now. A lot of signs are showing trouble in the economy and things could potentially get worse. So, you know, even the market, we still have a major variable in the midterm elections. That's a major variable. Speaker 6 (11:58) That's a good term. Speaker 5 (12:01) That's a major variable in the midterm elections. And, you know, we'll monitor that situation. But, man, I think right now you got to be extremely focused because so much is changing. And it's really getting scary out here if you really think about it as far as. Speaker 5 (12:20) You just can't go into the workforce right now. Like if you just tried to go into the workforce, what does that, how does that look? Speaker 6 (12:26) Especially if you're a new graduate, it's heartbreaking. Speaker 5 (12:30) Even if you, but even if you have work experience, right, you might have, they're using your work experience against you. Against you, that's Speaker 6 (12:36) a great point, yes. Right, Speaker 5 (12:37) because now they got to pay you a certain amount of money, so. Speaker 5 (12:41) I don't think that is the time to be celebratory or to have, you know, a relaxed attitude. I think it's a time to definitely, and that's what I was always taught, you know, put fuel on the fire. When you have a fire, put gasoline on it. That's important. Like whenever you get a fire, put gasoline on the fire. Don't, you know, let up on the fire. Speaker 5 (13:07) Market Mondays, you've been with us through this journey. Not the time to stop. It's not the time to celebrate. It's not the time to, you know, it's the time that tunnel vision, lock in, get even more focused because things are changing very quickly. And the writing is on the wall that it is going to be painful. for a lot of a lot of industries and unfortunately a lot of people yeah Speaker 4 (13:41) i think the the idea of being in the one percent of your your skill set is the thing right like he said gentleman said you're either going to be a specialist so you're going to be a generalist right but there's no in between you can't you can't be average you can't be good you got to be a specialist so you have to have general skills in a bunch of areas and so if you think about that in any field I mean, that kind of makes sense, right? Like I have to have multiple skills, right? I just can't have one and say, okay, I'll be good at this. Because there'll be something that can replace me, right? That can automate what I do. If I'm in the top, right? And I'm the specialist, that means I am the best, right? Even if I worked with something, it's not going to be able to replace me. So what people are doing now is creating authentic brands and authentic beings. Because if you do that, then that means that you set yourself apart from anything that is automated, anything that can be duplicated. You become almost that authority. So we got to figure out in the careers that we're in now, in the fields that we're in now, which one are we going to be? Are we shooting to be the absolute best and the specialist in it? Or are we going to have general skills in a few areas so that we're not easily replaceable? And that's like a question that not only adults have to face, but we have to start talking to our kids. Yeah. Like now. Right. Like, yeah. What is the thing or what are the things, what are the skill sets that you have that we can say, okay, yeah, you can do this. You can do this and you can do that. Cool. That's a strong suit. Not, Hey, I'm good at this and I'm focusing on this. It won't be enough going forward. Speaker 6 (15:14) I've been saying all year, I'm only talking to the elite because being elite is the only option. Same. I've been telling Xander, Hey, you're going to have to master four to five things and be the best in the world. at four to five things for you to emotionally feel comfortable. To everyone here tonight, now is not the time to play. Listen, I was our queen slipping-ish while they were streaming in the suit. Speaker 4 (15:37) We Speaker 6 (15:37) saw you. I'm telling you how serious. Now, it went around the other algorithm, but I didn't know. I was just going to hang out with my friends, and it turned into a whole melee. Did you speak to Rory? Of course, and reason. I didn't see the mirrors, but yeah, when it dapped up, Rory, after, I didn't know what was going on. I just came to celebrate. Speaker 4 (15:57) They said you had something to play with. You told them that it went viral, and it turned everything around. I Speaker 6 (16:03) had to tell them, hey. Speaker 6 (16:06) As soon as I got my little orange juice Red Bull, my phone was on fire. You okay? I'm like, what you mean? Is somebody looking for Speaker 4 (16:13) me? Speaker 6 (16:14) I thought Fat Joe may have, you know, heard blackout. So I was like, oh, okay. But I had to warn the friends. But even with that, I've had conversations with them. Leave the beef alone. Focus on the money. There's no money in the beef. I'm telling you. MV call, flip, everyone's caught. Now is not the time for quarreling. But a lot of the quarreling that's happening is because the money's dry. Stay locked in. Stay locked in. Speaker 5 (16:39) 100%. What's the trading tip of the week? Speaker 6 (16:43) Stop looking for shorts. Stop. For the rest of the year, if there's an 89 % chance of the market continuing to go up, and I said earlier this year that the top of the market won't happen in July, and people gave me some pushback that you don't know. Okay, we're on a tremendous run for the S &P, for NASDAQ, for Dow. I'm speaking specifically to the ETFs. If you're trading ETFs on a futures market, you're trading NASDAQ, Dow, Bovespa, any of the broader ETFs, you should be solely looking for longs for the rest of the year. Now, we can have a conversation about next year if that fortune will turn. But I think too many people are trying to front run this trade. And for those you don't know, in 2007, 2008, 2009, when a lot of people were saying that the market was going to turn around. The market pressed up higher for a longer period. So don't go against the trend just because you're trying to catch a falling knife. Go long for the rest of the year. Lock in profits and you'll be good. There's too many people that are trying to be contrarians and short things. Or even like when I said my take about Nike, respect everyone in Oregon. And there's people, I want to buy here at the bottom and I want to find a way to get leverage on it. Now is not the time. Go with the direction of the market for the rest of the year. Speaker 4 (18:01) Yeah, my trading tip would be this. Please do not send me anything that Michael Burry has to say. Please. Speaker 6 (18:09) Rashad, get your... No, Speaker 4 (18:10) I'm not interested. You fed up? Speaker 6 (18:12) Because Speaker 4 (18:13) every time he says something, I get a text, right? I think people obviously know that I'm extremely bullish on the market, and then they send me his shorts and his puts, and now he's extending his puts out. His shorts on Micron Speaker 6 (18:25) and NVIDIA. Like, bro. Speaker 4 (18:27) I Speaker 6 (18:28) love Michael Burry and Cyan Capital. But once again, sometimes you can become a caricature of yourself. And once again, you don't know his timeframe for when this is coming out. And then he's also selling the sub stack, which I'm not mad at, but it kind of paints the picture. He's hedging the losses with the subscription model. Right. But long-term, I just told you since 2016 and videos up. a tremendous amount, it's up 500,000 % since inception. There is no benefit to shorting an asset, especially when so much money is now pouring in. They're not going to let these stocks fall 90%, not the ones that matter. Now, we can have a conversation later about FICO. To me, that's even scary. FICO's down 44 % year to date. Speaker 4 (19:21) That's Speaker 6 (19:21) tough. But for Nvidia, Micron, that's not time to short them. Speaker 4 (19:26) And it's no knock to him. I'm just saying that I don't want that interim in my lexicon. Because if I'm looking at it like all the reasons that you just said, I'm also looking at extending out puts. And if you're ever trading puts, do you ever want to put them out to a year, a year and a half? I just never recommend that. Those are short time frames because volatility can move. a swing can happen and you're down in position quick and you may never be able to recover from it. So to put puts on these companies that not only, I mean, is the AI story reliant on, but the government is now backing, it just kind of is like, all right, let him do what he has to do. Yes, he had a legendary moment in history and we can't erase that. And he's still Speaker 6 (20:09) a good trader, but he is incredibly biased to one side. Speaker 4 (20:12) I'm good. It's kind of like Speaker 6 (20:14) Peter Schiff and Kiyosaki, like that crowd that's just perma-bear about everything. And it's like, even if you're right, what are you going to gain? 30, 40 %? It's not worth it. It's not worth the headache. Speaker 4 (20:28) Yeah. So did we ask that question last week? Do we know anybody that's become a billionaire off of puts or a millionaire off Speaker 6 (20:33) of Speaker 4 (20:33) puts? I don't personally know. Like he obviously had a legendary moment. Can't take that away from him. One of the most historic. They made a movie about it. That's how historic it was. I just don't know if the new age retail investor, if that's the direction. Speaker 6 (20:47) And even with that, look how many months. He was in the red and had to pay those premiums before they told the truth about the economy. Like everyone we talked to and Rashad, you know, we had to text earlier. They won't even announce they were in recession. They just because they don't want panic across the board. But once again, the number of concerts that are continuing by premier legacy acts gives you an indication. We'll talk about the retail sector a little bit later. But there are some signs that there are some concessions in the market worldwide. And I don't think we're willing to face that yet. And then also with the fake news that's being reported, they you can't even as a reporter state real facts anymore. Is anybody going to get the $5,000 if they vote Republican? Speaker 4 (21:39) No, no, no. What about the tariff money? Companies. Speaker 6 (21:44) Try it out. Speaker 4 (21:45) Companies. Oh, I'm not. I Speaker 6 (21:47) got on Burgundy, but I'm not red. I want to be clear. No. Speaker 4 (21:53) You said legacy, actually. So they had a 68-year-old Madonna out there last night. That was crazy. Speaker 6 (21:59) That's crazy. Madonna, wrap it up. Respectfully, you're a legend. Speaker 6 (22:04) Even that, though, it's a bunch of legacy acts who remain on the road. That is a sign. That is a sign. Speaker 4 (22:14) Album of the year. What? What album? Speaker 5 (22:21) Okay, hit the like button and share. What are the charts that we need to be looking at for the week? Speaker 6 (22:26) There's a few that we need to look at. This is becoming one of my favorite segments. Let's do it. Let's do it. What you got? Let's see where we're going to start. Can you zoom in just a little bit for me? Speaker 6 (22:39) Well, let's skip I want to come back to this one. Let's go to the next one So I'll talk about the gap after. This is the thing that concerns me the most. And I went over this in Stock Club yesterday. So when everyone's saying that there isn't economic weakening, I'll use that term. Right now, worldwide, let's look at what the consumers are facing. But yes, in chat, if you feel more financially secure this year than you did in, let's say, 2019 to 2020. But if we look at the broader market, Costco, which I love, is down 17%. Walmart is down 18%. Netflix is down 42%. McDonald's is down 30%. Now, I don't know if they got the beef from Argentina, but as a real estate-facing company who has an incredible business model and you can argue is the number one brand-recognized restaurant in our country, for that to be down 30%, that is a bear market. Home Depot, Lowe's, down 27 % to 32%. American Express, down 21%. FICO. down 44 % year to date. I belabored Nike. Uber's down 30. Chipotle's down 52. Pepsi's down 25. If I presented this to you and you had no bias, would you tell me that the American economy, when it comes to the consumer, is doing better or worse? And this is a systemic issue. We'll talk about Oracle later. It's even plaguing some of our legacy tech companies as well. Can we go to the next slide? Hold Speaker 4 (24:08) on Ian, stay here for two seconds. These are a lot of companies. If you had to pick one of these, and there's a lot of solid ones here, right? Like we've talked about a lot of these companies. If you had to pick one that would have a rebound faster than the others, which one would it be? Speaker 6 (24:23) If I was a betting man, which I'm not. Speaker 6 (24:27) I really love a few of them, but Costco, I like a lot. And American Express, I like a lot. In the second tier, I will go Uber, McDonald's, and Pepsi. But shot to principal struggles, this was placed all because of decisions of a failed war and misguided tariff issue. This isn't political. This is economic. I think this is what, day 190 that we've been in this war. Look how much it's cost. And the debt-to-GDP ratio now is so high that even companies with strong balance sheets are getting punished in the market. FICO, who gives the credit rating in America, is down 44%. What does that tell you about how we're doing in America? Mike, if we can go to the next slide real quick. Speaker 6 (25:20) I want to bring this up because if you look from 1999 to 2001, Amazon had a precipitous decline. And we'll talk about it later. But anytime there's a crash on the horizon, which we could have one in 27, a top of 28, I think 27, there's going to be a lot of people who tell you to sell your stocks. I even remember a diary of a CEO that had a gentleman say, sell all American equities. And that sounds good. for media takes, but when you sell your 401k or your portfolio, the same people who tell you to sell won't give you a effing dollar when you're in need. Even though I think one of the biggest tragedies that's ever been done when it comes to investing is to constantly tell you about the drawdown and the crashes, but to not tell you the upside. If you look at some of the greatest companies in America, if you look since inception, A lot of them are up more than 40 or 50,000%. That's never talked about. Can we go to the next slide, Mike? Please, por favor. Speaker 6 (26:30) And the thing that I'm seeing here, that is a 200-day moving average. Some companies will start to have a lot of separation from their 200-day moving average at the widest margin that they've had for a long period of time. It doesn't mean that the company is uninvestable, but it does tell me that people are getting a little bit more skittish about what to invest in long term. Speaker 6 (26:56) So for that reason, prices are going to matter more than ever. And for those who say this doesn't affect commodities, Mike, can we go back to the gold chart real quick? Because now even gold and silver, not that one. Thank you, my brother. But now even gold and silver on the commodities, which gold had an amazing run, but you can see once we start to hit around that 562 area, we've been sliding down. And as a result, even commodities are starting to get beat up. So that red line going through is the 200-day moving average. Look how far it's gapped down from that 200-day moving average. So those are the charts I wanted to go over this week. Be mindful of how far away the prices are away from the 200-day moving average. And I talked about this at Stock Club last night, and we talked about it last week. Price is law. The price that you pay for an asset. Will determine if you're up even when the market is down shot to your red panda that are still up and a lot of these companies even though they're down here today, but you got them three years ago and you're still up a hundred or two hundred percent put in check the price that you pay matters so much Speaker 4 (28:10) You brought up some really important facts. I noticed the 200-day is the line or the metric that EMA that we're using. Do you ever use anything lower, right? Do you wait to see if we're going to get to the 400, right? If it passes the 200, or do we say, okay, it's trailed below the 200. Let's see if it can retest. How do you usually play between 200 to 400? Speaker 6 (28:30) That 420 is low. And it's a great, so in trading, you have your A set up, B and C. 72 EMA is a C setup. The 210 is my B. The 400 moving average is my A. That's Jordan. When I need a bucket, I'm going to wait for it to go. Because now I'm confident that it's drugged down from an all-time high at a low enough level. If it's a quality company, if I buy there, that's a generational buy. The 210 EMA, respectfully to Scottie Pippen, because I know you've been on Twitter. Don't come for me. That is my second option. So that's the second most that I will want to put in. The 400 is like my low at Speaker 5 (29:08) the Speaker 6 (29:08) boat. And then 72 is like a quick entry. That's why I want to put 10 or 20 % of the portfolio if it gets to that price. So the 400 is the gold standard for me. Speaker 4 (29:17) It becomes tiered and people are probably going to say, well, these companies are never going to get to their 400. Well, Microsoft was at its 400. Yes. ServiceNow was at its 400 in June. They both bounced off of it. That's why it's important to say like, oh, that's my metric. But I like that you have it tiered. This is my allocation if it gets here, and here's my allocation. That's pretty intelligent. Thank you. Speaker 5 (29:41) Okay. Chart of the week. Thank you. Great presentation, as always. Hit the like button and share. Speaking of Speaker 6 (29:50) presentation, I love the hue that you have on. I want to frame it as the Get Rich Blue. We got something to talk about. Speaker 4 (29:57) Yes, sir. You don't say. Speaker 5 (30:00) Get rich or die trying. Speaker 6 (30:02) Facts. Two times over. Speaker 5 (30:06) We talked about this economy as far as. Speaker 5 (30:10) The intangible skill sets that you develop is going to be mandatory in the future. It's already mandatory now, but it's going to be mandatory in the future. So when you look at stock investing and trading, entrepreneurship and social media and online marketing, these are things that's no longer going to be like hobbies or maybe on the fringe. Like this is going to be more mainstream, 100 % necessity when you have to create your own economy increasingly more and more every day. And the number one thing for this, and we've been talking about this since we started on your leisure is relationships. Relationship is worth more than money. So, man, shout out to everybody that purchased our first book, You Deserve to Be Rich, New York Times bestseller. And that book was a personal finance book that kind of walked through the journey of credit, investing, real estate, you know, and it's told in story formatting. First real book that I really read as a young man was... Rich Dad, Poor Dad really changed the direction of how I was thinking about finance and really changed my life. And I feel like You Deserve to Be Rich is like the new age version of that, right? This second book that I read that really changed my life is How to Win Friends and Influence People. Speaker 6 (31:28) That's it, yeah. Speaker 5 (31:32) So many people look at building relationships as a random walking apart. It's actually a skill set. And that book actually taught me so much as far as how to win friends and influence people. So the next book in the chapter that we announced today is called Get Rich From Relationships. Hold Speaker 6 (31:57) on, let's clap it up. Hey, let me get some fire in chat, please. Poor favor. Appreciate it. Great rollout. Speaker 5 (32:05) Appreciate it. Appreciate it, my brother. Thank you. Man, get rich from relationships. And why is it get rich from relationships? Because that's literally our story. It's our story, right? And it's so crazy because it's like we say this all the time. And like I said, I don't think people really
