Speaker 2 (0:03) Hey there quilter, welcome back to Loose Threads and Stitches. This is our quiet corner of the internet where we talk about quilting and all the real life stuff that goes with it. I'm your host, Kristen, from IcyStarsQuilting.com and I am so glad that you're here with me today. Sit back, relax, grab a good cup of tea, and let's check. On Speaker 1 (0:22) today's episode, I want to talk about a specific kind of quilt, okay? This is the one that you made. For nobody. It's not a gift. It's not a commission. It's not something to be used for the guest bedroom in your house. It's not something just for like a swap at your quilt guild. This quilt just exists because you wanted it to exist. And I love making them too, right? It is a gift of the heart. But I think somewhere along the way, a lot of quilters forgot that making something purely for themselves is also completely allowed. It's not selfish. It is allowed. I want to tell you about a fabric story of mine real quick. It ties right into this. And I had Tula Pink's Grayworks fabric collection, the whole collection. Okay. gorgeous stuff, absolutely beautiful. And I fell in love with it right when it was released and it was so fun. All right. I saved it. And I kept telling myself that I was waiting for the right project, right? Because I bought like half yards of the entire line. That's a lot of money. It is a lot of fabric. And I was waiting for the right project. The one that is special enough, right? The one that would. do this fabric justice. And what
