But literally, once they realized that you can get the space with us, one stop shop, it became a no-brainer. I think it's the reason why we do such an amazing job. We Speaker 2 (0:16) do it all. So the minute the client puts in an inquiry in, we're contacting them to figure out kind of what their vision is, sending us inspirational photos, and then we hit the ground running. collaborating with the client, creating mood boards to make sure that we're all on the same page and we execute everything. And thanks for joining us again in the sunny Miami Beach studios here in the podcast room, where we get the privilege to talk to some of the best entrepreneurs from around the country, the disruptors and experts in. so many different fields. Love my job talking to great people. And we got two beautiful, great people here with us today coming from the D.C. area. So, yeah, why don't you guys introduce yourselves? What's your names? Where are you from? You're from D.C. And what do you guys do? I'm Jarrell Norcom. Speaker 3 (2:24) This is my wife. I'm Speaker 2 (2:26) Kelli Overworm-Kimberly Norcom. Speaker 3 (2:28) And we are event venue owners. So we have two event menus in the Baltimore area. Speaker 2 (2:35) Yep. Called the Eventus House Event Menu. Speaker 4 (2:37) The Aventus house. Yes. Nice. Now there's no, you know what you're going there for, right? Yes. Speaker 5 (2:42) All Speaker 4 (2:43) right. So I used to do events, right? Actually like. So I used to have a nightclub in Northern Thailand, which turned into a concert company and then turned into a full ship charter music festival cruise. It grows, Speaker 3 (2:59) right? Speaker 4 (2:59) It grows, right? So I know all about the events company, but one of the things, one of the best things about the events industry, at the end of the event, right? And you get that nod, right? Speaker 4 (3:12) Yeah, you know, good event, good party, good, yeah. All Speaker 2 (3:15) the hard work makes it worth it. Speaker 4 (3:17) Yeah, love the nod, right? So what kind of events are you guys doing? And how big are these venues? Speaker 2 (3:24) Yeah, so our location, our first location in Hamden, Baltimore, that one can hold 70 guests, 1,500 square feet. And then our White Marsh location, which we recently got a year ago, this time frame, can hold 100 guests, and that's 2,500 square feet. And so we do everything from... Baby showers, birthday parties, anniversaries, graduations, corporate events, baby showers being kind of our bread and butter. We found that a lot of people are popping out babies. So that's kind of like our main focus, but we do everything. So, yeah. Yeah. Speaker 4 (3:53) Nice. And so you guys also kind of like there must be a list of things that they can get from you in terms of the event, right? Like things that they rent, maybe furniture. What's your list look like? Speaker 3 (4:09) Yeah, I would say one of our things that and we get a lot of people that come to us and tell us like in the marketplace, how we stand out is just basically packages. So we package our pricing and what we offer through packages. So we have like four or five different packages and pricing. So everything from giving you tables and chairs to everything from full decor is what we take care of. Speaker 4 (4:33) Okay. Okay. And you guys do a little like themed. themed baby showers. Like that's all, that's on Speaker 5 (4:39) all Speaker 4 (4:40) the, all the chat. Instagram. Oh my God. Yeah. Now it's all about that reveal, right? That's the new trend. Yes. Speaker 2 (4:47) And that's what we were shooting for, which is great for us. Yeah. So we, our highest package, our platinum package actually is our, we call it our theme based package. And that one, they come to us with anything that they want and we make it happen. So we did, for instance, for a baby shower, we just did a, what's Speaker 3 (5:03) that? What's that bear called? Speaker 2 (5:06) Well, like a baby bear theme. We've done... It's not Care Speaker 4 (5:10) Bears anymore. Speaker 2 (5:12) There's a Speaker 4 (5:13) new bear. There's a new bear in town. We've Speaker 2 (5:15) done a great Gatsby theme. We've done Tiaras and bows. So whatever you want, we can make happen. Speaker 4 (5:21) Now, with the whole reveal, now it's about like the big, either like the blue or pink smoke or the blue and pink, like popping stuff, right? Does it get a little messy, right? Yeah, we Speaker 3
