Speaker 1 (0:58) Well, I want to talk in to like mindset and becoming little Wayne So you've been famous since you're incredibly young what mindset allowed you to? Thrive and have that level of success so young Speaker 2 (1:12) Reality. Reality meaning my world, what I was surrounded with, my reality, dealing with my own reality. You have to do things and you have to make life-changing decisions at times for whatever reasons and in everybody else's lives. That was my stories and that was my reason and thank God it worked. Speaker 1 (1:35) It's beautiful. Well, it definitely worked, King, because you're out there and you are like the King of Kings. You've inspired so many other artists. I Speaker 2 (1:43) try. Speaker 1 (1:44) For real, you have. I mean, what do you believe separates someone who is talented from someone who becomes legendary? Speaker 2 (1:52) You have to have a goal in mind. Talent is almost like us. It's like sports. There's physically. Speaker 2 (2:02) gifted athletes, meaning that whatever sport that athlete, he or she, may be playing, you always say they can probably play 10 more. They can probably be just as good or just as great in any other sport. And that's because they're physically gifted. And then you have a talented person who you see, you can tell that this person goes to sleep with this on their mind. They were born with it. And that's a different, that's more of a blessing. Speaker 1 (2:34) I love that. It's a blessing. I mean, I believe that with my own life. I think we are born with gifts inside of us. We are the gift. Right. And we have to unravel that gift and share it with the world. And you've definitely done that through your voice. I Speaker 2 (2:47) definitely try. Speaker 1 (2:49) Do you have any daily rituals or habits that you do to stay at your level of success and positivity, run an empire? Speaker 2 (2:57) I do. No stop. And it's been the same. That's the formula that's always been my formula. Just don't stop. And if you don't stop and you keep going, the cliche is real when they say you learn something new every day. It's all about what came or what comes after that statement. And for me, it's about what you do and what you learned. Speaker 1 (3:20) So good. Do you believe you manifested this life before you even had evidence of it in your world? Speaker 2 (3:27) No, that's a new, that's an old word, but a new, it's been newly used and I'm old, so I don't know how to use it yet. So no, I didn't, I didn't manifest it, manifest it, manifest, manifest, I'm joking. Speaker 1 (3:45) I mean, you're a wordsmith. The way you speak, the way you word things, the way you write. Is it true you don't write anything down? Speaker 2 (3:53) At all. Speaker 1 (3:53) Really? Speaker 2 (3:55) That's old. You know, that's old stuff. Like, people that, when we wrote, because it was the times, it was a thing to do. And that's why people wrote. You know, it was cool to have your folder or your tablet and fuss with people for whatever reason about it. Like, it means the world to you. then you grow out of it Speaker 1 (4:15) wow okay is obsession necessary to become the greatest Speaker 2 (4:23) That is a very, very, very, very good question. And the answer is obviously actually yes. You have to be more than focused. That'll be what someone, maybe one of the first things someone tell you to focus, you have to be, you know, you have to be obsessed. Speaker 1 (4:45) I know that. I mean, every day it's like you got to go at it. You got to keep going at it. You got to keep going until you can't no more. Speaker 2 (4:53) It is your day. Speaker 2 (4:57) It is your everyday isn't it? You know, you know anything even about going at it. It comes at you every day That's Speaker 1 (5:04) true. Speaker 2 (5:04) Oh, Speaker 1 (5:04) I believe that while everybody else is sleeping somebody else is working and that person is gonna go so much further when Those are taking their breaks and they're not doing it. They're not getting into it. Somebody else is gonna win now breaks are still good I'm gonna say embrace of it where you believe that you can have breaks all the time. I Speaker 2 (5:21) don't know just believe in the work Speaker 1 (5:23) Leave Speaker 2 (5:24) in the work Speaker 1 (5:25) That's so good. I think showing up every day at your highest, showing up and getting better and better and Speaker 2 (5:30) better. Speaker 1 (5:30) Showing Speaker 2 (5:30) up Speaker 1 (5:30) means Speaker 2 (5:30) a lot. Speaker 1 (5:31) In Speaker 2 (5:32) some cases, it means everything. Speaker 1 (5:35) Do you have a quote that you love? Is there anything that you live by? Speaker 2 (5:41) No, I don't have a quote because I don't remember many. Or like a lyric of your song. I don't remember them. Speaker 1 (5:49) Really? Speaker 2 (5:50) Yeah, because I'm working on Speaker 1 (5:52) it. Right, right, right. Or the new one. so when you go on stage you have to like rehearse it before or like uh Speaker 2 (5:57) i just have to know what we're doing right i have Speaker 1 (6:00) to Speaker 2 (6:00) know i have to get a song like a playlist of the songs that we're going to perform so i can be aware of where i need to be i Speaker 1 (6:07) mean you're a rock star on stage like you kill it you get out there you're like the superstar thank you and the world loves that and knows that about you and i think that's what shines through do you believe that you were born with that gift or did you create it or build it Speaker 2 (6:23) I was, in my beliefs, I definitely believe I was born with it because I was doing it too young to pick it up anywhere or to even be figuring it out. So I had to be putting it in some kind of way. Speaker 1 (6:38) For sure. Yes, I Speaker 2 (6:40) did. I always did music. Speaker 1 (6:42) Wow, just like naturally it just came to you. Speaker 2 (6:45) Entertain, entertaining people, holding someone's attention, holding the crowd, a room full of people, holding their attention and not wasting their time. So that was always the main part about it. It's cool to get their attention, what you do with the attention. And I love results. Speaker 1 (7:04) Results are everything. I always say to people at the end of the year, your year will be filled with 365 excuses as to why your results didn't work out or results. Speaker 2 (7:16) 365 excuses. Speaker 2 (7:20) That's tough. Speaker 1 (7:21) True, though. At the end of the year, you got results or you got any excuses as to why you didn't do something? Speaker 2 (7:27) As long as you're still there with that question at the end of the year, you're just right. You're fine. If you have that question to even have to answer, you're good. Speaker 1 (7:39) What does your mind do when you freestyle? You know when you go into your world and you just, it's coming out and you're not even writing it. You're not even writing it down. Like, where does your mind go when you freestyle? Speaker 2 (7:50) I don't freestyle, but... Speaker 2 (7:54) I think you mean when I just come up with it? Usually you want a title. You want a title. You want them to have, you want basically have a direction. So if the song has a title, you go there. These days. Speaker 2 (8:11) producers named their beats and their beats come with titles now. That didn't happen back in the days. They would just send them. But now they have titles. So me, being a thousand year old rapper and have rapped about every single subject in the
