Speaker 1 (0:00) What up, bitches? Welcome back to Law of Attraction changed my life. I am your host, Francesca Ramba, and today is my second attempt. not just recording, but filming this podcast. I fell in love with podcasting over YouTube when I realised that you could simply record in your dressing gown with not a stitch of makeup on. And yet here we are. It's a full circle moment. It is the circle of life. We're back having to be presentable for the world. We move. Let me just open this episode with telling you about my most recent manifestation. So. As you all know, and as you're all fucking sick of hearing, I bought my dream house in Camden Town, London in the summer. And basically I had to not only buy, but renovate and furnish the house in a very, very, very short period of time. Never has the phrase time is money been more appropriate or pertinent to my life. Every fucking week was costing me. a lot. And long story short, I had to get a sofa that could be delivered next day. If anyone finds themselves in this very niche situation where you need a sofa being delivered the next day, I'll save you your time and energy. The Sofa Club. Okay. The Sofa Club do it. So the Sofa Club delivered me a sofa. This is not an ad and it is the most uncomfortable fucking sofa you've ever laid on in your life. Not only that, I don't love it. It depresses me. It looks like something my nan and granddad would have had. No offence to them. May God rest their souls. So the sofa I did want was from this company. Again, not an ad called the Vintage Sofa Company. They are fucking incredible. They do velvet sofas in like deep jewel colours, bright pink, tiger print, leopard print. You can see where this is going. And I was like, I need a fucking leopard print sofa for that house. I need it. The only problem was there was a three month lead time. The second problem, they were fucking expensive. They were like three grand. So anyway, I went with my basic bitch sofa and I was not happy. And I kept seeing it come up on my Instagram algorithm. Like these sofas, like they were taunting me. This is what you could have had if you'd had the money and if you'd had the time. And I did say to myself in my head. I am going to manifest one of those sofas. I don't know how, but I'm going to do it. Well, blow me down with a fucking feather. I see a post that says we have had a batch of fabric that has had some mild crushing. Haven't we all? Okay, at this point, haven't we all been mildly crushed? It's on leopard, so you can barely fucking see it. The sofa is less than half price. I said, what? Thank you, universe. This is what I was fucking waiting for. So I contacted them so fast. And I was like, do you know what? It's a bit like Oasis tickets. Even though you comment on the post saying you're interested, it's not guaranteed you're going to get a fucking sofa made, okay? You have to be one of the lucky few. My friend Emma got a tiger print armchair. God bless Emma. So anyway, today, just before I started recording this episode, I got the call and they said, what kind of sofa would you like? We can make it in the fucking damaged fabric. I said, look, this sofa is going to be as damaged as me. I'm excited. Make me a corner sofa, bitch. And it's coming at Christmas. That is going to be my Christmas present to myself. So yeah, now I need to figure out what to do with the other sofa because it is only eight weeks old. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I fucking manifested my sofa. Are you impressed with me? And I said that to the lady on the phone. I was like, I hope you realise, sorry for your business. Sorry that you've had this crushed fabric, but I've been manifesting this, so I'm very happy. Anyway, happy end of September to you. We are almost in October and I hate to be a basic bitch, but I am one of these people that gets very excited about the seasonal decor. I get very excited about adorning my porch in pumpkins. I get very excited. to start buying Christmas presents. And do you know what else I start doing at this time of the year? And this is really part of my festive formula, but I start to not only book in all of the shit that I want to do over the festive season. And this shit takes time, right? This actually does take time. You need to sit down with your diary. You need to sit down with your phone. You need to be in several WhatsApp group chats. And it probably takes a whole evening, if not more. Okay. But it needs to be done. Something else I'm doing is Looking ahead and looking out for future me, future me who does unfortunately suffer from SAD and get some shit in the diary over the next sort of four or five months that will give me shit to look forward to. I'm talking comedy nights. I'm talking getting tickets for fun things. I'm talking about. a February holiday because I do love to be away somewhere tropical when everyone else is cold, okay? Brings me joy. Does it make me a bitch? I don't know, but it brings me joy. So I'm going to start booking in all of these things for all of the shitty months, right? We're talking November, we're talking January, we're talking February. The shitty months, I'm going to sit down and spend a little bit of time and energy turning them into amazing months. Anyway, let's crack on with what this episode is actually about. And that is that I think I've discovered a vital missing ingredient to manifestation. And that ingredient is creativity. Yes, creativity truly can be a manifestation superpower. And my mantra at the moment with myself is less consuming. more creating. Now, this is something I say to my 10-year-old daughter who has an iPad. I fucking hate it, but she has an iPad and she does get sucked into looking at content. And I always say to her, always create more than you consume. It's not easy, but I try to do it. I try to do it myself. I try to instill it in her. Always create more than you consume. And this doesn't just go for social media. This is for life in general. So let me tell you why this has come about. And this really goes back to the leopard sofa, kind of. So this is actually a really important lesson in manifesting, right? So my huge goal, manifesting my dream house in London, manifesting the money to renovate it, which looking back, like that was wild. Like the builders were cowboys, okay? They fucked up my shower. Some of the painting looks like it was done by a blind man, but... It was done ridiculously cheaply, ridiculously cheaply. When it came to dressing and furnishing the entire house, I had grossly, grossly underestimated the sheer cost of this. Even the cheapest, shittiest flat pack furniture, which so much stuff these days is, was just totaling up. Like it was so much money. And I had a couple of people say to me like, oh, you should just have someone come and professionally dress the house for you. And I was like, how much money do you think I fucking have? Okay, how much? Now, I manifested the money to buy the house. I manifested the money to renovate it. But I was a little bit stuck on furnishing. Now, I could have looked at that and said, well, Fran, you're a shit manifester. You obviously don't know how to manifest money. You obviously aren't a very good manifester. But no, no, no. I have been a manifester for at least 15 years now. I've been studying the law of attraction for at least 15 years. And something I've learned is to co-create with the universe and also to have trust. Trust in the divine timing and the way that things play out. And so when I got to this point and I was like. I've run out of money. I can't fucking furnish this house the way that I want to. I can't do it, you know, in the kind of style or the way that I, you know, traditionally would. Instead of getting down about that, I realised that there must be a reason why. And spoiler alert, I fucking discovered the reason why. I know I talked about this last week briefly, but guys, I have discovered something that has brought me unadulterated. pure joy and it's opened up my creativity channels that have been sealed shut, blocked for many, many years. So because I didn't have the money to furnish the house with brand new furniture all coming from the white company or whatever, nah, she can't fucking do that.
