Well things are great, Jadis, busy tasting things, working on things, figuring out how to get more of the stuff that people love. Are you ready to talk to some customers, Jadis? Of course, I do that every day. Well, think of this is just like any other day, except that you've got a microphone. Tell us about the customers at your Trader Joe's. What's that neighborhood all about? Yeah, our store here at East Pasadena is very diverse. People are friendly. This is definitely a true neighborhood market. between San Marino, East Pasadena, St. Gabriel, a lot of smart people in the area. JPL is right down the street. JPL stands for Jet Propulsion Laboratory and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to shop at Trader Joe's, but I guess some of our customers really are. And we love our customers. How long have you been captain of the Trader Joe's in East Pasadena? I've been the captain of this store since 2024, coming around two years at this particular store. You are eminently qualified to do this, let's. Wait, let me do it. What's in your cart? I gotta practice, I guess. I got this. Okay, Jadas, we'll be eavesdropping. Hi, Jody. Hi, how are you? I'm good. You've been shopping at Trader Joe's for how long? Oh, almost 10 years. 10 years. Or more. Very nice. So I'm literally in here like three times a week buying fruits, vegetables. I love the freeze dried goods that you guys have. spot for any to build any crudery board but I think my all-time favorite is the apples. Apples always hits with the apples. All right yeah we got apples from everywhere. Mm-hmm I have two daughters there are one and almost three and their favorite is the apples and the freeze-dry fruits. My oldest daughter's favorite is the mangoes and the tart cherries. All right so the key question that we have for you is... What's in your cart? Ooh I have some new golden nugget manor oranges. I have my essential snacks for my girlies freeze dried cherry tart cherries mangoes some produce the new I love the lemon so I have I love when it's lemon season okay the madeline's are my favorite got to get those while you can yeah and also some avocados and tomatoes all right I know apples today I just bought them like two days ago all right so I see you have a canvas bag over there you've heard about the bag crease what does the collection look like at home I know apples My husband says my collection is outgrown the space that we have allowed for it. We have a lot of Trader Joe's bag. My kids actually use the mini tots and they carry their toys in there. So anytime we go to Grandma's house, that's where they have their little trinklets and stuff thrown in too. So it's perfect size for them, they can carry it around. And then I use the main tow bags for all sorts of things. Great for beach days and, for all sorts of things. You have one bag for every occasion. I have it as a diaper bag. Yep, yep.
