Speaker 1 (0:01) I'm Holly and I'm Bridget and this is Girls Next Level. Speaker 3 (0:09) Welcome back to Girls Next Level podcast everybody. Today we are bringing you the second half of our Katie Lohman interview. She drops a lot of tea in this hour so I hope you guys enjoy it. Let's get into it. Speaker 2 (0:21) So the first time that I was like intimate with him I remember thinking like you know what he's pretty sexy you know and then I'm starting thinking like well Why would I think that? He's an older guy. But he was very sexy. Speaker 3 (0:34) And Speaker 2 (0:34) having that alone time with him, I think I just was able to kind of get to know him in a different way. And it wasn't just jumping right into this situation with all these girls and it can be awkward or whatever. And we were intimate for a while. just alone, you know? And I kind of like wanted somebody to be there because I've got these twins picking on me all Speaker 3 (0:57) the time. Speaker 2 (0:58) So I kind of wanted someone there. And then luckily, Nicole Van Croft showed up, but she did not want to be a girlfriend. Speaker 3 (1:06) And Speaker 2 (1:07) I was like, okay, I understand. And then after Nicole Van Croft, he was like upset that... She didn't want to be the girlfriend. I said, look, have you know what? Not everybody's. Did Speaker 3 (1:16) she like stand him up at the Beverly Hills Hotel once? I Speaker 2 (1:18) don't know. Because I was looking at his scrapbooks back in the day. And there Speaker 3 (1:22) was this weird entry in the scrapbook where like he got a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel and like brought all this champagne and stuff. And like security is taking pictures of him. And his captions were kind of vague. But it made me think that he was thinking he was going to sleep with Nicole Van Croft if he got a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel. But she like stood him up. Speaker 2 (1:41) That is not weird. That's Speaker 1 (1:42) very weird. Speaker 2 (1:43) Yeah. Because I would never think of him doing that. Yeah. You Speaker 1 (1:46) know Speaker 2 (1:46) what I mean? Like, why don't you just be at the mansion? You know, I mean, who does that? Goes and gets a hood. Whatever. So then after that, and mind you, I'm sleeping with him alone for a while. And then Buffy shows up. Speaker 3 (2:01) And Speaker 2 (2:01) see, Tina thinks that she was before Buffy, but she wasn't. She just doesn't remember that Buffy had to go home and whatever. Speaker 2 (2:09) Buffy comes up and she's just like. oh yeah, I'm here, you know, I'm going to do my Playmate pictorial and she's like, I shot it in Chicago but they want to redo it here because it really wasn't that good. Speaker 3 (2:21) Her Speaker 2 (2:21) first one was not that good. It looked like kind of homely looking. It didn't look right. Speaker 1 (2:26) Can I ask a quick question before we move on? What room were the twins in? Was it four and five? It Speaker 2 (2:29) was the room, you know, when you go past the pictures and there's the big room here and then the little room right there and there's the Jack and Jill bathroom. Four Speaker 1 (2:37) and Speaker 2 (2:37) five. So Sandy had the big room and then Mandy had the little room. Okay. And then there was just that bathroom. And nobody was in Speaker 1 (2:44) room two? No, because Speaker 2 (2:45) there wasn't anybody else there. And I was in the guest house. Yeah. Because I wasn't part of their whole whatever, you know. I was like intimate with him alone. And at this Speaker 1 (2:55) point, that's still going on in the guest house? Speaker 2 (2:57) I was intimate with him alone many times. And Nicole Van Croft said no, got her centerfold, was out. Speaker 1 (3:03) So now Buffy's here. Speaker 2 (3:04) Buffy's there, right? And her centerfold is not great. And I did approach her with the idea of do you want to be a girlfriend? I said, now this is what it entails and this is what you get. Speaker 3 (3:17) Okay. Speaker 2 (3:18) And she's like, all right, what? Like I said, you will get an allowance. You will get money for clothes. You know, you get to just go to the parties and relax or whatever. It's just, it can be good. Right. And she's like, yeah, that's fine. I'll do it. Speaker 3 (3:32) I love it. I go, Speaker 2 (3:33) okay. And then she's like, I do have to go back home for a little bit, you know, to go visit my family. She's like, but when I get back, then it's fine. I'll do it. I didn't know if I believed her or not. I thought, oh my God, I'm gonna be like stuck up here with myself. You know what I mean? Like with these awful twins. By the time that Buffy got up there and then she came back. and joined us in the situation, the Bentley twins left at that point. Speaker 3 (3:59) So Speaker 2 (3:59) I don't know if there was just like something where they were getting like so jealous or I don't know, like, cause now there's another girl. Speaker 3 (4:06) Hef always told me the version of the story why the twins left. was because he wanted to add more girlfriends and they didn't want that. That's true. So that was like the worst point. I fully, Speaker 1 (4:15) after hearing this and stuff, I can fully see it going down. Like that they probably wouldn't talk to him and said, we don't like these girls. We don't want Katie here. It's true. Because they did not want Speaker 2 (4:23) me there. And what happened was, is that they threatened him and said, if you bring Katie in here, we're just going Speaker 3 (4:30) to leave. Speaker 2 (4:30) And mind you, they had that rich guy Speaker 3 (4:32) that Speaker 2 (4:33) nobody knew about. So it was easy for them to leave. Right? So, As soon as Buffy's added into the situation, again, it's just me and Buffy alone with him. They left. They were out like that. And I go, well, good, because honestly, it was time for you guys to go. It was like it wasn't it was never going to work with them there. And then us in the guest house. Yeah, that was never going to work. So Buffy helps me out in that situation and they're gone. So and Buffy doesn't really seem to mind any of it. You know. But the problem that I had with Buffy was as sweet and bubbly and beautiful as she is, she did have a drug problem. Speaker 3 (5:12) And Speaker 2 (5:13) that was really difficult because I was always trying to keep her towing the line. You know what I'm saying? Like, and she'd be late or like, I don't know. She was just, it was bad. You Speaker 3 (5:26) know, Speaker 2 (5:27) because it just made me feel like. I have to like babysit her or something. Speaker 1 (5:32) You Speaker 2 (5:32) know, she never had any of her dresses on time. You know, we were supposed to, you know, go to get our outfits because we were going to do a Midsummer Night's Dream party. She did not get her Brachi dress in time. So she ended up wearing like some lingerie or something. And I was like, you were supposed to go with me and get your gown fitted. You Speaker 3 (5:49) know what I Speaker 2 (5:49) mean? So that we have. dresses. And she's like, oh, Speaker 1 (5:52) I Speaker 2 (5:52) don't really care about that. She didn't give a shit about any of it. That's so funny. She did not care. She didn't care if Hef liked her or not. And the funny part was Hef had this thing about the fact that Buffy didn't need him to get in Playboy. She was already approved. Now, he could have said no to a new centerfold photo, but he was... like hypnotized when her new centerfold came out her pictorial was Speaker 3 (6:18) really cute it was Speaker 2 (6:19) gorgeous she's in like a bar area or something she's got like one leg straight another leg going like this and then it's like a you know it was it was gorgeous and the whole thing was blue in the background Speaker 3 (6:29) which made her eyes pop and Speaker 2 (6:31) like kind of like a little bit red Speaker 3 (6:32) yeah you Speaker 2 (6:33) know like it had like a like a hypnotic sort of vibe to it um but he just absolutely went bananas after her centerfold came out because she had these really like cute little gatefold photos and originally he was going to call her picture in the buffy and i Speaker 3 (6:52) was Speaker 2 (6:52) like you can't i go no you can't say that and he goes well what do we call it and i'm like you can't say in the buff because like in the it means like in the nude although that is you know i will i and then i said what about and i he goes well i don't know what to call it and then he goes What about if we call it, she's so Buffy? I thought that's a lot cuter. Instead of in the Buffy. Speaker 3 (7:15) Kind of sounds like you're inside somebody. She's so Buffy. Speaker 2 (7:19) It was really cute because she had this little marshmallow pink piece of candy on her lip like this. Her hair is all flowing. She looks like she just got back from a vacation. The best part was that little piece of whatever that was it was like a marshmallow it was the bunny peep yeah and then uh and he after that centerfold came out and she just didn't really care he went crazy for her now i know you guys are going to be like what are you talking about why whatever but he would sneak into her room at night And he would cuddle with her. And I'm there, like in the room. And he was like uncomfortable that I was there. And I like saw him cuddling. And she's just like, what is he doing in here? You know what I mean? I would be doing it too. Yeah, like this is not like a bedroom night. Like why are you here? And he's all like attached to her. And I was thinking like, why are you so attached to her? Like what? Like you're not attached to me like that. You know what I mean? Not that I want you sneaking into my room. But you're not like that with me. With me, it was more kind of like we would just like talk and he would just do what I wanted. You know what I mean? But there wasn't this like romantic, ridiculous thing going on, you know? He was so had it in his mind that Buffy looked like Karen Christie. Oh, Speaker 3 (8:42) yeah, yeah, yeah. She does. Speaker 2 (8:43) Yeah. They have whatever. And so she. I said, well, take advantage of that situation that he's all in love with you. We would tell her all the time. Oh, my God, I'm so in love with you. You're so gorgeous. You look just like Karen Christie. It's like, oh, my God, you know, I'm like, OK. And then he bought her a car. He didn't fucking buy me a car. I ended up with that car after it got Speaker 3 (9:05) repossessed. Speaker 2 (9:06) Why didn't she take Speaker 3 (9:07) it? Well, no, because she couldn't make the payments because he would always lease cars Speaker 2 (9:11) for Speaker 3 (9:11) the girls. Oh, I know. He Speaker 2 (9:12) does not outright buy them. Yeah. Speaker 3 (9:14) So it got repossessed and then it came back to the mansion. And I had just moved in and I had this like junker car. And Norma in the office just thought my car was unsightly. So she was like, unsightly? Well, it had Speaker 2 (9:25) dents in it. It Speaker 3 (9:26) was like Speaker 2 (9:26) gross. Oh, my God. Speaker 3 (9:28) And I had just moved in, and she was like, so we got this new car. Would you like this car and have approved it? So I had this giant lifted Escalade with monster truck wheels. It was white. Speaker 2 (9:40) Yeah. It was a white. Yeah. It had the rims on it, everything. Yeah. Okay, so I didn't know she couldn't make the payment. I just assumed she would take it with her so she doesn't have to buy another car. She did Speaker 3 (9:49) take it with her, but then she couldn't make the payment, so they repossessed it, and it got sent back to Hef. Speaker 2 (9:54) Got it. Okay. And then he gave it to you, which is good. At least it's going to get some use, you know. But he also, we were going to go to this award show, and I went straight up to half. He gave me the schedule of, like, all these things we're going to do. And so I marched right into his room. I showed him the schedule. I said, I don't do my own makeup. Speaker 3 (10:13) And he's Speaker 2 (10:14) like, I get that. I said, I don't like doing my own makeup. I don't do my own makeup. It stresses me out. I said, I need to have a makeup artist. I said, not just for me. I'm not trying to just get this for me. Speaker 3 (10:26) But Speaker 2 (10:26) for Buffy, too. Speaker 3 (10:28) And Speaker 2 (10:29) he's like, no, I totally understand. So he got us Kim X. Speaker 3 (10:32) Oh, I love her. Which is great. Speaker 2 (10:33) So he said, well, when these things come up, that's fine. You can have a makeup artist. And I said, I need your credit card. And he's like, why do you need my credit card? I said, well, we have to have gowns. Look at the stuff that you're saying we have to go do. I need gallons. He goes, well, can't you just take it out of the money that I give you? I go, no. And he's like, okay. So we needed Speaker 3 (10:56) you on our team when we were there. I know. Speaker 2 (10:59) And it's funny because he didn't want to just hand me the credit card. He goes, well, security's going to hold the credit card the whole time. And then Buffy can pick out a gown. Speaker 3 (11:07) And Speaker 2 (11:07) I was like, okay. So I picked out a gown and Buffy got it. Luckily, she was there to get her gown. I wore all black. And then Buffy had like a blue top and like a skirt. And then Tina showed up. And I guess it was a fun in the sun that he met her. I don't really know if that's true. I think it is. But it wasn't like a party party. She always says the first time she met Hef was at a nightclub. But that's not really what I care about. I want to know when did you go upstairs. You know what I mean? I don't need to know that you saw him at a nightclub and you waved at him. Speaker 1 (11:41) Yeah, that's the story she tells on that Playboy 2000 thing. That they met at a nightclub? Speaker 2 (11:48) Yeah, but I mean, okay, that might have been how you initially met. That's probably where Ron Smith got her number and put her on the list. Yeah, and then she's on the list. They're Speaker 3 (11:56) probably waving from across the Speaker 2 (11:57) room. And then she got invited Speaker 3 (11:58) to Fun in the Sun. Yeah, Speaker 2 (11:59) and Fun in the Sun was obviously Hef's way of looking at women and enjoying them. And they're tanning and they're swimming and all that stuff. And it was just kind of like he would sometimes kind of make a move a little bit. And I guess he like... made a move on Tina kind of like, Oh, you should be a girlfriend and you know, whatever. And he didn't. bothered to introduce Buffy to Tina. It was just me. And I was like, okay. And Tina's like, all right, well, you know, she goes, she said to him, she goes, well, I understand if you don't want me to be your girlfriend, but I still want to be friends, even if we're not going to like be together. And he's like, no, no, no. I want you to be my girlfriend. She's like, well, I have a kid. So that could get complicated, you know? And she would just, at first she had Tatiana living there and then she moved, moved him out and got an apartment, whatever. But Tina, wanted more money because she has a kid. I didn't really care. I wasn't going to argue with him about it. She did want like, I think it was $1,500 when we were only getting $1,000. She wanted more. I thought, okay, you do have a kid so you can have more money. And then she joined the group quite quickly and we just looked at her as like the older sister vibe because she was like 10 years older than both me and Buffy. Speaker 3 (15:21) So Speaker 2 (15:21) she definitely had like the older... And it was... She was in that place in her life where it was like a solid. She was solid. And me and Buffy were just kind of, you Speaker 3 (15:30) know Speaker 2 (15:30) what I mean? Like whatever. You know what I mean? We weren't really trying to like be his like number one girlfriend. Speaker 3 (15:37) Buffy Speaker 2 (15:37) didn't want to be his number one girlfriend. I didn't really care. You know? But Tina was great at like holding down the fort and just sort of being like a solid presence in his life. She would sleep in the room. She had the. closet area with all her shoes and like whatever. And 10 years is not that much time once you get older. It's not. But when you're that young, the difference between a 20 year old and a 30 year old is a big difference.
