Speaker 1 (0:00) I strategically got rid of my blow. I had a little blow left and I just dropped it on the stairs. So someone must have found a bag. I walked down. I'm like, don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't hesitate. Yeah, don't hesitate. And in the video, like, I have a beer in my hand. I'm only 20. I had a fake ID, obviously, at the time. So, like, I thought, oh, dude, I can't have a beer on me. Like, I'm not 21. So, I hand the beer to the dude that's sitting in the front row. And then I just hop the fence or, like, hop the wall. And I remember I fall right on my hip and it hurt like a mother. But I was like, oh. Like, I have to run now because now if I turn around and get, like, I'm just getting in trouble for nothing. Dude, I book it. And I look up and it's, like, 30,000 people going crazy. Phone lights that are, like, fireflies and shit. It was a surreal moment, dude. It sobered me up pretty quick, dude. Yeah, oh, Speaker 2 (0:48) I bet. I bet the adrenaline. Dude, Speaker 1 (0:50) wild. Wild. And I remember I ran by a Detroit Tigers player and he was looking at me like, this piece of shit. Yes, Speaker 1 (1:50) sir. How are we doing? So short. So it's like the suburbs, like 30 minutes south of Boston. But everyone there is basically from Boston. Yeah. Speaker 2 (1:58) Thank you for coming, man. Thanks for having me, man. We Speaker 1 (2:01) appreciate you Speaker 2 (2:01) taking the time out of your day to come out here and do this. Yeah, absolutely. For sure. Speaker 1 (2:05) Huge fan. Speaker 2 (2:06) Thank you. We'll start at childhood. Tell us about childhood and kind of what formed you and molded you into the person that you became. Speaker 1 (2:16) Yeah, for sure. My childhood wasn't like most people's. My mom rode motocross. She also like took care. Yeah. She took care of horses too, but she primarily mostly did like motocross, like racing dirt bikes. Wow. And she was, you know, I don't want to say like my parents were like. alcoholics or anything like that but there was definitely a lot of drinking growing up partying and dude i remember as young as like six years old having like a checklist of like everything i was gonna do like cigarettes beer drinking like as i was an addict from early on and like even food was my first addiction i was like a chubby kid and uh like anything that i liked i was just eating that like to an excess and stuff but yeah i don't know um I was around a lot of booze, a lot of partying. I remember one memory as a kid, like I thought drunk people were like possessed kind of, so it like freaked me out a little bit. But then like as I got older, it's like all I could think about Speaker 2 (3:15) was... trying it. I remember my dad coming home drunk one night. It was the only time I saw him drunk. He came home and he was like stumbling everywhere and fucking throwing up. And I remember being like scared. Speaker 1 (3:25) Yeah. Oh yeah. You know what I mean? Like, Speaker 2 (3:27) I was like, what the fuck is wrong with him? Speaker 1 (3:29) Like, Speaker 2 (3:29) yeah. Speaker 1 (3:30) Like my dad, he, um, I've never seen my dad like drunk, drunk, but he like drinks beer. But like my dad, like you could never tell, like he was always very normal. Right. My mom definitely like you could tell. And like that, I remember having like a couple. memories as a kid of being like kind of afraid you know with her being sure drunk and stuff i mean she's a great mom amazing mom i don't want her thinking i'm bashing her at all yeah Speaker 2 (3:53) yeah Speaker 1 (3:54) um definitely like it was it piqued my curiosity from like an early age and then eventually at i want to say i was 11 or 12 the first time i actually had like the balls to sneak some yeah um at this point my parents had split up and my dad was living in situate this other town in south shore and uh We had, our bedroom was primarily the living room. I mean, we had bedrooms upstairs, but me and my brother liked the living room because the TV was there and the video games and stuff. And we had a breakfast window. It's like this window that was the living room into the kitchen. So like, if you climbed up on the computer table and put your arm over the breakfast window, there's bottles of vodka right there. And I remember I had... This is probably the first time my dad's hearing about this if he's watching. But yeah, I reached over and I remember it was Trump vodka. I don't even think he sells it anymore, but Trump had his own line of vodka. Oh, really? Speaker 2 (4:47) And it Speaker 1 (4:47) had like gold flakes in it. And I took that and I had root beer and I was just taking... I remember the first sip I had and I was like, this shit's disgusting. Yeah. And I'm like, what the fuck is this? Why would anyone want to drink this? Yeah. And I don't think... I didn't... like it enough to like drink enough to get drunk. I think I definitely caught a buzz, but my little brother, he, he, uh, pounded down some, I think he was like nine or 10. It was, it was brutal. We should not have been doing what we were doing. Yeah. That's young. Yeah, dude. He, I remember he got folded and, uh, it was, it was scary. It scared me off for a little bit. I didn't, um, I didn't immediately try to like drink every time and stuff. But around this age, I had moved towns. So I was living in the town I grew up in. And then when my parents split up, we were selling the house. So we moved to the town I ended up going to high school in. Met new friends. Kind of like it was like a new, you know, I could be a new person. Yeah. Kind of deal. And I still had that inkling I wanted to smoke weed so bad. You know, like I had already tried the drinking and I just I could never find a way to like try weed. Speaker 2 (5:54) Yeah. Speaker 1 (5:55) First kid I met. He's actually my best friend to this day. Shout out Vitor. He had already had experience with weed. So he helped me out. He helped you out. Dude, that was my first love, bro. Like the first time we smoked, I was like, oh yeah, this is it. This Speaker 2 (6:10) is awesome. Speaker 1 (6:10) This is it. This is mine. So, and then with that, I had kind of circled back to trying to drink again. I think I was 12 or 13 at this point. And so this time I tried beer and I was like. Dude, this shit's garbage. Like, why would anyone drink this? But that was the first time I got drunk, though, because I drank, like, two or three Tallboys, I think. I, like, just stomached it and, like, drank it down. Dude, and then I remember having this thought in my head where I'm like, if I could find a way to feel like this every day, I'm golden. Like, I'm good. And now I look back at that, I'm like, oh, dude, I was an addict from the fucking jump. Yeah, Speaker 2 (6:48) dude. Speaker 1 (6:49) And so the drinking started to become more. you know uh prevalent oh yeah yeah so me my buddies like we had one of our friends that we're still friends to this day he like was the badass of the group um and when he would go into this packy this liquor store and uh he would have a backpack on and he'd go to the four locos and just like put his arm in and fill the bag yeah dude we got caught every time but we would get away from the guy that ran the store and uh so yeah that That was where the Four Loko started, you know, drinking. I remember Speaker 2 (7:22) those. Oh, Speaker 1 (7:23) yeah. But, I mean, I think I, like, the first time that I started doing something where I'm like, okay, I need this every day was Adderall. Like that was, I was introduced to Adderall around this time. Especially in Speaker 2 (7:37) high school. Oh yeah. Because Speaker 1 (7:39) you're, you convince yourself, oh, it helps me study and Speaker 2 (7:42) fucking, I'm way smarter and I fucking can stay awake. Yeah. I function better. Dude, I Speaker 1 (7:49) just remember being so abnormally happy. Like you forked, the first time I did Adderall, um, it was actually a kid from the town I grew up in. but I was already had moved and we were hanging out and he was prescribed Adderall and he just didn't like to take it. And so, uh, I forget what it was. Like, I forget if I like traded in weed or like cigarettes or something, but he gave me Adderall and I took one dude. And I was like, that was like even more than the weed, even more than the booze. Like that was like, I need this every day. Like, I remember I was just like, scrolling through instagram and stuff and i was just like oh dude like liking everyone's posts and like i love life i love people and stuff it that truly had a grip on me so i said my mom my mom knew that like she never let me get prescribed anything like i definitely have adhd and shit but like she never let me get prescribed anything probably because she knew that addiction runs yeah like i remember i got my wisdom teeth out and they gave me uh like oxycodone or something like that. My mom flushed that shit. Damn. Yeah, dude, it was rough. The pain was terrible. Yeah, that's a painful fucking procedure. Dude, I got all four out too. Bony impacted. Jesus Christ. Terrible, yeah. But funny thing about that though is I remember how high I was when I woke up from the surgery and like, dude, I was fucked up and I was loving it. And like, you know, so I already kind of had that bug in me anyways. But yeah, I guess if we're going... If we're like taking it back to freshman year high school, it was Adderall, weed, and then drink on the weekends. And I didn't skip a beat. But around this time, my mom was like super strict at this time. And so I was petrified of her ever finding out about anything. So like that kind of kept me grounded. Like I played football. I played lacrosse. Like I was decent in school. And so like I was still keeping that up, but I was still like, it was like the sneaking around, smoking the weed, you know, that stuff. uh i had a step father figure like stepdad i guess he was he was in the picture and then he left around this time and that kind of like broke my mom a lot and uh unfortunately my mom she i forgot to mention this my mom got sober when my parents split up and she was sober from then that was 2008 uh and then she started drinking again when he left and that kind of that gave me It sucks to say, but, like, that gave Speaker 2 (10:10) me kind of freedom to, like... That's Speaker 1 (10:11) what Speaker 2 (10:11) I was going to say, Speaker 1 (10:12) yeah. As soon as she... Like, it broke my heart. I remember walking in to the house, and I could tell. And she was already heartbroken from him leaving and stuff. So, like, it was just tough seeing her like that. And then I remember I was like, okay, well, now I can get... I can be more risky because, like, it's not like she's going to be paying attention. Speaker 2 (10:32) Yeah, she's not on your ass like she was. Exactly. Speaker 1 (10:35) So... I remember that was when, like, I started smoking every day before school. And now I was, like, angry, too, at this time. I was depressed about him leaving, depressed about, you know, my mom being, you know, all messed up. Like, truly, like, my mom, like, my dad's the best man in the world. I love my dad. He's the best dad in the world. But, like, we never went to daycare. We were with my mom at work, you know, every day. Like, my mom was just, we were with her 24-7 growing up. So, like, whenever my mom was affected by something, affected me a lot you know and my little brother yeah so yeah like sophomore year was that's when i started like smoking every day before school i was buying adderall um i uh i remember thinking though i'm like all right dude cocaine that's my next it's my next step you know And, like, I would watch, you know, I'd listen to Cocaine by Eric Clapton. I'd watch videos of Riff Raff doing lines of blow back in, like, you know, the early MTV days. I just had this obsession before even trying it. And, um... The way that I started with coke was actually like an accident. So I think this was beginning of junior year. Me and my friend group, we would hang out at one of my friend's house. It was almost like her house. She was still in high school too, but like it was her dad's house, but her dad would also live, I think, in a camper at some other place. He didn't work or anything. So like basically like she sold weed, you know. Had her own place. Yeah. It was like a fucking playground for people my age, you know. And shout out to Andy. But we would all hang out there. And I remember we were trying to get mushrooms. It was like me and like a few other buddies were trying to trip that night. So we hit up this dude that I think Andy had told us like, yeah, this guy has mushrooms, right? We're waiting for him. We text him. It's like probably like two hours. Where the fuck is this guy? And then we got a knock on the door and this guy's fucked up, dude. Like he's like. I don't know if he was on dope or what, but this dude was like cross-eyed, right? And he takes the money, and then he pulls out a bag. It's fucking Coke. And I'm like, what? This isn't one of these fucking orders. What the fuck is this? I was like, wait, we want shrooms. He's like, I don't have shrooms. I'm like, all right. So I guess I'm trying cocaine. That's Speaker 2 (12:49) doing Speaker 1 (12:49) cocaine. Yeah. So, dude, I'll never forget this day. This feels like yesterday. Me. two of my buddies and andy wouldn't let us do it in the house so we had to do it outside and it was like night i was so stupid it was nighttime we're doing it near these like sheds behind our house dude i did that first line i was like oh yeah really oh yeah loved it loved it which was weird because like i don't even think i really got high like the first time i did it because i it was like a pinner you know what i mean oak is just Speaker 2 (13:19) it's I mean, for me, it was hit or miss. Right. I never really fell in love with cocaine. I prefer Adderall over cocaine. Right. I could see. Speaker 1 (13:28) Yeah. I think I was more in love with the fact that I was doing cocaine. Doing cocaine. Not that, like, the feeling it was giving me. More like rolling up that bill. Sure. And, Speaker 2 (13:38) like, Speaker 1 (13:38) you know, I'm free. I'm, like, you know, this is the first time, like, authority wasn't really a thing in my life anymore. So, like, my mom. She caught on. She realized I was smoking and I was drinking and stuff. And she just, at this point, you know, I'm getting older. I'm in high school. I'm, like, about to be a junior. You know what I mean? Like, she wasn't like, yeah, do whatever the fuck you want. But it wasn't like, holy shit, I can't let my mom find out. You know what I mean? Right. So, yeah, junior year was definitely when, like, the party man started to come out. You know, I went from, like. You know, once you like hit those upperclassmen years too, it's like you and your buddies are now like the older people at school. And like, you know, we just, it was just a party. Do what you want. Yeah, exactly. And I never took into consideration that like, you know, I might be addicted to this and that, you know. Speaker 2 (14:25) I didn't either, man. As I hear you talk, I had a very similar upbringing and like. trying things around the times you did. And yeah, that didn't click for me for a while. Right. Speaker 1 (14:36) And it's like that saying, like, you're the last person to find out you have a problem. You know, that was 100 % it. I was the last person to find out I had an issue. But yeah, I mean, it really, it's like the same story for the rest of high school. You know, once I became a senior, that's when like. I was doing cocaine like every weekend. Like I, I ended up like selling it. Like I was getting spotted like a quarter, you know, and you sell half of it. You got the other half. Sure. Speaker 2 (15:01) So Speaker 1 (15:01) like, yeah. And basically my friend group was my clientele, you know? So it was like, it was crazy, dude. Like everyone did coke. Like really? Everyone, bro. Everybody. Like even like the kids you wouldn't expect, like we're doing lines, you Speaker 2 (15:16) know, I don't Speaker 1 (15:16) know if it was just my fucking, Speaker 2 (15:17) my area, but I mean, yeah. Cause I know our high school, cocaine was not a thing oh Speaker 1 (15:23) yeah yeah Speaker 2 (15:24) like pills oxycontin and shit yeah thing so Speaker 1 (15:27) i was class of 2016 so i think by the time we were like for example my kid's mom she was a senior when i was a freshman their grade was like the last grade that was like pills you know yeah because like heroin started becoming a thing all that shit so like it was kind of like yeah you relate to the party for the painkillers for real yeah for sure i mean don't worry i still got there yeah right um Yeah, no, senior year, partying, you know. I was really, like, I enjoyed football, and I thought I was going to play college ball and stuff, and my interest in that shit just went away. You know, I was in love with drinking, getting high. Getting high, yeah. It was like a fucking movie to me. It was, like, awesome. And, dude, like, people were, like, even my family was like, ah, what are you going to do? He's, you know, he's. The kid is partying. Exactly. Like, so like, I guess like there was kind of like a pink cloud around that time, like where it was like, you know, I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. Yeah. I mean, high Speaker 2 (16:28) school for me, I had a great time in high school. Yeah. Fucking partying. That's all we did. Speaker 1 (16:33) Yeah, for sure. Dude, I was like the loudest kid in my school too. So it was like, I was just that, you know, I didn't shut up and coke didn't make me shut up anymore either. Definitely not. Yeah. Um, I think, uh, So my alcoholism definitely, like, settled in for my senior year, though, because I remember, like, we drank before school for, like, dude, senior skip day. Like, I would literally just text everyone and be like, yeah, it's senior skip day. Like, there was, like, 10 of them. Like, I just, like, and no one actually all skipped. It was just pretty much me and my friend group being like, yeah, we're not going to school. We're just going to get fucked up today. And, dude, I'll never forget. This is the last week for seniors, my senior year. It was like our last week. We didn't go to classes. Basically, we were just roaming the halls. Dude, I got fucked up before school. Like, drank a fuck ton. Oh, really? Yeah, like Ciroc Apple, dude. And, like, for some reason, I have this tolerance to booze where, like, it even carried on to, like, when I was drinking heavily, heavily before I got sober where, like, dude, you won't know that I'm fucked up. Like, maybe, until maybe I say some wild shit, but, like, I kind of had my dad's tolerance, where, like, my dad could be hammered, you wouldn't know. But, like, my brother picked up my mom's side, where, like, my brother, he'll have, like, eight beers, the kid's fucked up, you know what I mean? Sure. So, like, I, you know, I had that, like, kind of reason to get drunk before school. I'm like, no one's going to know. I overdid it that day, and I remember I walked to this classroom, and I was basically going door to door to each classroom, just fucking with... teachers and shit yeah and one of my buddy's moms was a sub a substitute teacher and she was subbing this class and i walked in i'm like yo i'm like what's up blah blah blah and she like looks at me smells my breath and she like rummages through her purse takes out a piece of gum she's like go to the bathroom she's like wash your face like wake up she's like you're drunk like hammered she knew didn't wrap me out though yeah Yeah, so I got kind of spooked, so I dipped to school, obviously, because I'm like, dude, I don't want to not walk at graduation because I got fucked up, you know what I mean? But, yeah, so, like, we graduated. Me and a bunch of my friends went to Bahamas for grad week, too, for our senior year. Oh, nice is right, bro. 18, drinking age. Had my first legal drink with my buddy Jake, Jake Marani. Shout out. Name dropping. But me and him were on the plane, and, like, they said over the last week, like, drinking age is, like, 18 hours. I forget what they said. So me and him bought, like... Once you got into international waters. Yeah, exactly. So it was, like, you know, $7 Bud Light can, but it was my first legal drink. But, dude, we got there, and I remember that was the first time someone told me, like, hey, you, like, the way you drink is kind of fucking crazy, dude. It was my friend Nikki, because she was with us, like, on the trip. And, uh... I mean, dude, we basically, it was all included. You know, like, you wake up, you go to the swim up, the pool bar. It's 6 in the morning. There's a bar at the pool open, you know. And, like, so there was not a sober minute there. Like, I was fucked up drinking, like, from morning to night. The whole time. And. Dude, I wanted Coke so bad when I was there. But the lady that ran grad week, she talked to all of us. And she's like, you're going to get in taxis. We had an itinerary, so we go to certain clubs and bars and stuff. And this lady's like, when you get in the taxi car, do not try to buy anything off these taxi drivers. And that immediately was like, oh, I'm fucking... So Speaker 2 (20:02) for you, you're like, Speaker 1 (20:04) well, what are Speaker 2 (20:04) they selling? Yeah, exactly. What do they got? Speaker 1 (20:07) Exactly. And I actually had some older friends that graduated a couple years before me that went on... the same trip no like there's this guy like you'll meet him here he's got this and that yada yada yada and so like i kind of had that like preference yeah preference all right i'm gonna buy some shit but thankfully i was talked out of i wasn't talked out of i was ripped out of the car by my buddy but we got in this taxi and it's this guy he had a hole in his throat like the you know the machine's like yeah yeah Speaker 2 (20:33) so Speaker 1 (20:33) he had a sign that said like i can't talk or whatever like that i'm like okay and i look at him and i'm like hey like you got coke and he's Speaker 2 (20:40) like Speaker 1 (20:40) oh yeah like he was like saying it through his thing he's like yeah yeah like speaking a different language i'm like all right sweet so i like look i'm in the shotgun seat too which is wild but i was talking to my buddy behind me i'm like yo i'm gonna score some blow off this guy and he's like no you're fucking not i'm like yeah i am dude i'm like you kidding me and uh i we got to the resort He was going to drop off my friends and then bring me to the slums of Bahamas. And, like, dude, I had three of my buddies yanking me out of the car. Like, I was trying my hardest to get Speaker 2 (21:07) the shit. Yeah, Speaker 1 (21:07) that could be dangerous. Oh, yeah. They're like, you're going to end up dead or robbed. And, like, dude, I'm 18 years old. I got, like, two grand in cash on me because, like, my dad gave me some money to go there. So, like, yeah. I never ended up getting blow. But I drank, like, so. so hard so much like the entire time like i didn't black out and like make a mess out of myself like i was able to hold myself pretty fine but my friend nikki noticed like that like i was waking up and like i was shaking a little bit and like i'd go downstairs i'd drink like six drinks i even got a bottle of henny from the gift shop it was like 80 ridiculous but i drank half that thing to my face in like two hours she sat me down she's like chris like you drinks you like this is gonna normal yeah yeah she's like this is gonna be a problem i shrugged it off like you know i was just having fun like like i'm supposed to you know and young Speaker 2 (21:58) to Speaker 1 (21:58) even consider that exactly it's a problem the one thing that stood out to me though is that i wasn't getting hung over I wasn't even giving myself a chance to get hungover because I would be drinking as soon as I woke up. You'd immediately knock the cobwebs off. Yeah, but on the plane ride back, all my buddies are sunglasses on. They're freaking sick, and I'm drinking on the plane. I'm like, what's wrong with you guys? Speaker 2 (22:21) Yeah, we're not done yet. Speaker 1 (22:23) Yeah, I had no idea that that's the biggest red flag of you're an alcoholic. You don't get hungover. That came to be again later on. But yeah, I mean, I... graduated, walked, you know, and it was pretty normal. I mean, then that's when, like, the party was basically, like, I wasn't, I was not gonna go without cocaine at all. So I started selling, like, a good amount to keep on me at all times. And, dude, it's kind of like a blur, like, a lot of it. I use, my Snapchat memories are basically my way of remembering shit. Because, like, I, dude, if you go through my camera roll, it's just, it's sad. Madness. Just. coke and booze every fucking day. And, um, yeah, like, I mean, I started, so I went to this college in state and, uh, I only made it like a semester and I couldn't make it to class. I was getting, cause I commuted and like, I was just blacking out all the time. Like there was no way, no reason for me to go anymore. And I'm like, I'm not gonna. I think I was going for communications. I still can't tell you what the fuck that even means. What that even means, yeah. It was ridiculous. But, yeah, I dropped out of school. My mom basically told me, she's like, you're not going to live here being a bum. She's like, you got to work. And, like, I mean, I've had, dude, before I became a barber, like, I had over 20 jobs and no references. Like, I left every job with bad, like, in a bad way. Speaker 2 (23:52) You Speaker 1 (23:52) know what I Speaker 2 (23:52) mean? Speaker 1 (23:53) Bridges. Yep. And, I mean, around this time, this was, like, I graduated 2016. So, like, once 2017 started, it was, like, I think I was doing landscaping at one point. And, like, dude, me and my buddy are, like, shotgunning beers at 7 in the morning at, like, the job site. Jesus Christ. Yeah, just retarded, dude. Fucking so bad. And I got fired from that job for drinking on the job. Speaker 1 (24:19) My mom was pissed about that one. Yeah, dude, wait until the Fenway part. My mom almost killed me for that. But my mom got me a job doing windshields, like windshield repair from this company, Tiny and Sons. It's like the biggest windshield company around where I live. And my mom, they were one of her sponsors for motocross, I believe. So my mom was tight with the guy that ran the company. So this is... beginning of 2018, like, 2017, basically, was, like, the landscaping, drinking, and all that shit, I also did tree work for my buddy and his dad, and, um, I mean, dude, my buddy and his dad, me and him would go with his dad to this dive bar in our town on Fridays, and we'd all go crazy with him, you know, so, like, you know, there was obviously drinking with that, I didn't drink on the job for the trees, though, because his, my buddy's dad would have. beat the shit out of me but you know for a fact i'm hitting the packy right after getting nips and shit dude i didn't go a day without drinking like swear to god never a day without drinking until like like way later on like when i had my kid and stuff but uh i'm getting ahead of myself sorry but uh so yeah like 2018 starts and this is when like my choices start to get like worse and worse but like Like I was doing more outlandish shit, you know, like I was this when I started experimenting with Molly Like acid shrooms everything I was doing anything I could get my hands on But like as long as there wasn't a needle in my arm, dude, I didn't think I was bad, you know, so One day. Oh, well before 2018 the Jerry Springer thing. That's kind of what? Solidified myself as like an idiot like my mom was very pissed too. So like we Me and my buddies were all watching Jerry Springer at my buddy's house. And at the end of the show, they go like, you want to be in the audience? Like, you know. Call this number. Exactly. Speaker 2 (26:13) And Speaker 1 (26:14) you come to find out it's Speaker 2 (26:15) a Speaker 1 (26:15) first come first serve ticket situation. So they film it in Stanford, Connecticut. And you got to get there like early, you know, especially we were going at like a 10 a.m. show. And so we all we decided we're going to go like. we had the date it was like a week later or something like that we slept in my buddy's crib now we had to wake up at like 5 45 in the morning and we already had booze i had coke my buddy didn't know that because this buddy that drove me to jerry springer no no he's he still isn't which is good but uh yeah he was like if you bring coke in my fucking truck you got to find a ride home from connecticut so i'm like all right i gotta Figure out how to get this by him, you know? So we get up early. I have a bottle of Jose Cuervo. And, dude, half of it's gone before, like, 7 in the morning, you know? Yeah, dude, I'm tanked. And I have him stop at a Dunkies. I'm like, yo, I got to piss. I fucking went in the bathroom. Obviously, I'm railing a gator tail. Dude, fat line, bro. And I'm like, I'm surprised he didn't notice because I was geeked. I was pretty geeked out. This is, like, really good blow I had at the point. Speaker 1 (27:22) We were getting pumped up. They're even drinking. My buddy who was driving, he's a very smart dude, so he wasn't getting hammered and stuff. We get there. We get in line. At this point, I'm in it, dude. I'm raging. You know what I mean? We get the tickets. We get into the show. We get to our seats and stuff. I'm like, this is awesome. We're in Jerry Springer. This is dope. There's an opener. This, like, comedian comes out, and he does, like, the opening act, like, before the show starts, trying to get the audience going. And, like, I sucked. It wasn't funny. And so, like, dude, I don't know what made me do this, but I just stood up and walked on stage and sat in the Jerry Springer chair while I'm, like, filming with my phone. Jesus Speaker 2 (28:05) Christ. Yeah, Speaker 1 (28:06) right? Dude, I could have easily got our... What should have happened was that they should have been like, okay, get this kid out of here. Yeah, kick you out. Yeah. Speaker 2 (28:12) No. Speaker 1 (28:13) This dude realized... I think he realized he was kind of... at like doing a standup bit. So he started like interviewing me in the chair. And then he's like, what's Speaker 2 (28:23) your Speaker 1 (28:23) name? And I told him my name. And he's like, I got, I think I sent you the videos, but I like, he pointed out my friends in the audience. So he brought them on stage. And then he was like, all right, what we're going to do is like, we're going to do this magic mic thing where like you guys dance to the music, to the girls in the front row or whatever. Did I like rip my shirt off? And like, I crawled to this girl in the audience. I made her like motorboat my chest, dude. And I'm like, boo sweaty you know like disgusting but it was it was hilarious it was funny and then we were on stage for like an hour you know just doing crazy shit yeah and then we went back to our seats and dude i don't even remember the show much but um at this point i haven't done a line in a while so like i'm like starting to like crash and stuff and the episode starts finishing and you know when like jerry goes in the audience and he gets people to talk shit to the people on Speaker 2 (29:10) the Speaker 1 (29:10) show so like i'm not even like I'm there enough to know what's going on. And my buddy, I'm talking to my buddy and he just looks behind me with his eyes wide. And he's like, bro, like what? I turned fucking Jerry Springer right next to me. He's like, what's up, funny man? He's like, you got anything you want to say? And I swear, dude, like I got the videos and stuff too. So, and I made it on the show. So I was like, yeah, I like came up with something real quick. The story on the show is this kid. uh was like mowing lawns to buy his girlfriend like flowers or whatever and she cheated on him so i said something like to the dude who landscapes for pussy like i wouldn't pull a single weed out of my driveway for that four-eyed bitch just like roasting her on the show and stuff and uh i don't even know how i strung together a sentence really but like i was buckled and then um the show ends they uh everyone in the audience starts taking pictures of me because i think they thought that i was like an actor like they the people on the show like set this up so i'm milking it i'm like yeah the auditioning process is a headache blah blah like just like being stupid my boys like laughing their asses off and then i get pulled into this room by these two dudes in like suits and i like they have me start signing these papers and i'm so out of my mind i'm like oh dude they're gonna have me back on the show so like i'm signing like a contract dude i look at the paper it's like you are not allowed you will be trespassed yeah so it's where they film maury and steve wilkos too and it's those studios i'm like never allowed back there again. Oh. Yeah. That's what it was. They're like, do not. Trespass. Yeah, trespass. Yeah. They're like, we will arrest you if you, because I halted the broadcast. So the guys that run the timing for the show and stuff, I guess that's like a heavy no-no or whatever. It was the same deal with the Fenway thing too. I'll get to that. But you halt a broadcast or whatever that people aren't happy. Right. But yeah, somehow they, I didn't get arrested. We just left. And dude, I remember the rest of that night, like. I guess got obliterated still. And like, I thought it was awesome. I thought we had the best time ever. So like in my mind, I just think that I can do whatever I want. You know, I'm invincible. I can do this stupid shit. Get away with it. Fucking idiot. And, uh, that's, that was when 2018 starts. And now like, you know, like I look back at videos of me back then. And it's like, I. Look fine, but I'm a mess on the inside, you know? And I did start to realize, like, I'm going on Coke benders every weekend. Like, I'm not sleeping seven days a week, you know what I mean? Like, I am up Friday night to Monday morning. God damn. Yeah, dude. And so my mom kind of like, you know, she got me that windshield job, and I started working at Tiny & Sons. Tiny & Sons is also a sponsor of the Red Sox, too. So this is a reason why I got fired, too. Me and the same friends that went to Jerry Springer went to a Red Sox game. This is like June of 2018. And I didn't get necessarily as fucked up as I usually do before we got there. But I was raging, still doing blow, drinking and stuff. And we get to Fenway Park, and I bump into one of my best friends from the town I grew up in. who he's a cop now. He's still one of my best friends, but I hadn't seen him in a couple of years. So I saw him in the bathroom. I'm like, yo, Justin, what's good? And he's like, hey, what's up, bud? Good to see you, blah, blah, blah. We go to our seats. We sit down, right? I don't know why this even was a thought in my head, but I'm like, oh, I'm going to run on the field. I'm like, I'm going to, I got it. Like, and I told my friends that I'm like, yo, I'm going to run on the field. And it's not like they're like, oh, like you won't. Like they know I will. And so they're like, don't. Like my buddy. who the same one that drove me to Jerry Springer, it was his dad's season ticket. So he's like, dude, do not do this. I'm like, I'm doing it. And I had left my phone in his truck in the parking garage too. So like, I'm screwing myself. Right. And, uh, I go like, Hey, just drop my phone off at my house at the truck. I'll make it home somewhat. And they're like, dude, you're not doing this. I'm like, I'm fucking doing it. So like, I, um, I strategically like got rid of my blow. I had a little blow left and I just dropped it. on the stairs so someone must have found it found a bag i walked down i'm like don't think about it don't think about it don't think about it don't Speaker 2 (33:12) hesitate yeah Speaker 1 (33:13) don't hesitate and i in the video like i have a beer in my hand i'm only 20 i had a fake id obviously at the time so like i thought oh dude i can't have a beer on me like i'm not 21 so i hand the beer to the dude that's sitting in the front row and then i just hop the fence or like hop the wall and i remember i fall right on my hip and it hurt like a but i was like oh like i have to run now because now if i turn around and get like i'm just getting in trouble for nothing dude i book it and i look up and it's like 30 000 people going crazy phone lights that are like fireflies and shit it was a surreal moment dude it sobered me up pretty fucking quick yeah oh Speaker 2 (33:49) i bet yeah and the adrenaline dude fucking wild wild Speaker 1 (33:53) and i remember i ran by a detroit tigers player and he was looking at me like this fucking piece Speaker 2 (33:58) of Speaker 1 (33:58) shit yeah dude so i'm running and running and i'm slow as shit i have untied boots uh like my belt was undone for some reason. I don't know why, but my pants were, like, falling down. Did I make it to center field from behind third base? And I'm flipping off the security guard behind me. I don't see the other guy that's sprinting towards me. And, dude, I fucking get laid out. Deck me. Laid me out, dude. It was, like, wicked hard, too. Next thing you know, I'm on the ground. The whole, like, floor is, like, shaking and shit. And the guy's like, are you fucking retarded? Like, you know, like, yelling at me and stuff. And, dude, I'm just like... like it taking it all in you know i'm like okay this is probably the dumbest thing i've ever done but like what's the worst that could happen and so like i'm getting they like obviously like put my hands by my back and like they're bringing me off the field into like the inside area where all like the food concession stands are like dude i look up in the crowd i see like this kid from high school and shit. He's just looking at me like, like, what the fuck is wrong with you? And I said, well, while we're walking by like the food stands and stuff, like this dude comes up and pours like a beer down my throat. Like it was just a weird moment, dude. People were going crazy. Speaker 2 (35:02) fucking nuts. Speaker 1 (35:03) Insane. And so then they bring me to Under the Green Monster where the players park and they're handing me off to like this guy who's the cruiser who's going to bring me to jail and dude they were fucking with me. They're like hope your parents are rich buddy. This is like a $10,000 bail. So now I'm freaking out. My parents are not rich and like my parents aren't bailing me out for $10,000. Obviously they're stuck. Yeah they were fucking with me though. It wasn't $10,000. So I get into the cruiser and you know how like radio broadcasts are kind of delayed yeah so we are in there and he's listening to 98.5 sports hub which plays the baseball games he goes you know listen to this and turns it up then you hear the guy on the radio go oh there's a fan running on the field so me and the cop are now laughing about it and um he brings me to jail i go to uh um ironically dude i go to the jail that my kid's mother my kid's mother her dad uh her dad was a captain in boston and It was the jail that he was a captain at, the section of Boston, before I had even met him. But I ended up going to jail, and I want to find that mugshot, but I know I was cheesing, dude. But they put me in a cell, and I fell asleep immediately, which is dumb. And I wake up, it's 3 in the morning, dude. I'm in the jail cell in Boston, and I'm like, I have work tomorrow. I'm like, oh, fuck, dude. I'm like, now I'm kind of regretting it, you know? And there's a phone in the cell, like a little, like you can make collect calls and stuff. And so I'm thinking, I'm like, oh, whose numbers do I know? Like, because I don't have my cell phone on me. Speaker 2 (36:35) Yeah, I know. That's mixing top. Yeah. Oh my Speaker 1 (36:37) God. It was so dumb. So I called my dad. He answers and he goes, what up pal? I can call my dad at any hour, which I have any hour of the night. This man's like 65. He will wake up. Like, it's crazy. My mom, like she sleeps like the dead, but my dad, I will call him at any moment. He answers the first ring. He goes. What's up, pal? And I'm like, I'm in jail. He's like, I know. I'm paying for this call right now. He's like, what's up? And I'm like, I ran on Fenway Park during a game, and now I'm in jail. And he just starts laughing, and he goes, yeah, you're on your own, buddy. And he hung up the phone. I'm like, fair enough. Ironically, though, his desktop screensaver at work is the picture of me running on the field. Yeah, of course. So I'm thinking, I called my brother like 10 times, and I don't realize my brother, he doesn't have. debit card or like a card like he worked he was working like for under the table like cash he didn't he was young he didn't have a card so he couldn't answer the phone so like i'm calling him over and over again he like i guess he was super pissed he's like dude i can't fucking answer the phone so then i'm sitting there i'm like i don't know who to call and then i remember justin the kid that i bumped into in the bathroom me and him have been best friends since we were like five years old i know his number from heart because we got cell phones together when we were in like fourth grade he's never changed his number And so I call him and I'm like praying. I'm like, Justin, please answer. Dude, the kid answers. He goes, yo, like before I even say anything, he's like, dude, you're all over Barstool. You're all over the news, like all this other stuff. And I'm like, dude, I'm in jail. And he's like, where at? I'm like, Roxbury. I think it was, yeah, Roxbury. And he was like, all right. He's like. Give me the address. So I'm knocking on the door and I'm screaming out to the cops. Like, yo. Speaker 2 (38:13) What's the Speaker 1 (38:13) fucking Speaker 2 (38:13) address? Yeah, Speaker 1 (38:14) dude. And they're all like buddy buddies with me because they thought the whole situation was funny. So like, no shit. Someone's actually bailing you out. I'm like, yeah. So I give them the address, dude. And sure as shit, dude, 3 in the morning, this kid drives from Norwell to Roxbury, which is like a long drive, you know. So he picks me up. He starts showing me the pictures that were taken. Like, I don't know if. They were with ESPN or whatever the fuck, but someone was taking professional pictures and got me running. And I'm like, holy fuck. They had like a million views on Barstool already and stuff. So I'm like, damn. I'm like, my phone's at my house now. I hope, you know, I hope my buddy dropped it off. So I'm like, I have no idea how much trouble I'm in. You know what I mean? I have a court date like today. So like, well, in a couple hours, it's like four in the morning at this point. So I get home. I check my truck. And sure as shit, my buddy dropped off my phone. And it's dead. So I get inside. And I plug it in. And I'm just waiting. It turns on, dude. It blows up. Like, my phone's, like, going to explode. It's like, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Like, texts from everyone I fucking know. Oh, yeah. Dude, the one text I see, though, is from my mom. And my mom's like, you fucking idiot. Like, I can't fucking believe you would do this. She's like, do you have any idea? Like, Tiny and Sons, like, sponsors the Red Sox. Like, and I was wearing a Tiny and Sons hoodie under my Red Sox jersey. And so, like, you can't see it. But, like, they still were pissed about it. I'm like, you can't even tell it's the Tiny and Sons hoodie. But whatever. So, like, she's like, don't you even fucking come home? She has no idea. I'm, like, upstairs now, like, reading this. I'm like, fuck. So, like, I have a court date at. like that morning, so like, I don't even go to bed, like, I lay down, and I'm just like, thinking about everything, I'm like, damn dude, like, this is so fucking stupid, and as soon as the morning hits, I call, uh, Tiny and Sons, my work, and I'm like, hey, like, uh, I, I came up with this lie, I was like, hey, I have court for like, unpaid parking tickets, like, I just like, you know, I'm not gonna make it into work today, and he was pissed, but he was like, all right, I understand, whatever, like, come into, like, I'll see you tomorrow, and then I get a text, like, five
