Speaker 1 (0:00) Every team, every topic, everywhere. This is Speaker 2 (0:05) Believe. I'm ready. I'll follow your lead. Welcome back to Speaker 1 (0:48) Fringe Beyond Limits. Tonight, we're exploring something that touches almost every subject we talk about on this show. Consciousness, spirituality, life after death, healing, and ultimately the question of whether there's far more to reality than what we can physically see. Our guest tonight is Julie Rine, and what makes Julie's story particularly interesting is the combination of two worlds that don't normally seem to belong together. Julie is a psychic medium and medical intuitive, but she's also an inventor and serial entrepreneur. Her career includes founding nine companies across five industries and inventing surgical devices that are sold around the world. But Julie says she can also intuitively scan the human body. perceive illnesses, facilitate energetic healing, communicate with people who have died, connect with animals, access past lives, and even perceive how close someone may be to death. Her book, Angelic Attendance, What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next, describes what she calls the 12 phases of transition, a process involving angels, deceased loved ones, and even deceased pets that she says she's repeatedly witnessed around people approaching death. And here's something else that caught my attention. Julie doesn't say these abilities are reserved for a chosen few. She says they're learned skills. So tonight I want to find out what she believes is actually happening, how she knows, what she's experienced, and perhaps most importantly, what all of this might tell us about what we really are. Julie Ryan, welcome to Fringe Beyond Limits. Speaker 2 (2:26) Thanks, Frank. I'm delighted to be with you this evening. We were talking before we recorded. I said, I get you all to myself. What a treat. Speaker 1 (2:35) Yeah. Lynette and Brianna, I had something come up. So, you know, their loss is the way I look at it. Speaker 2 (2:42) My gain. So how does someone become a psychic? I'm Speaker 1 (2:47) just curious. Speaker 2 (2:48) Learn. I teach people all over the world how to do it. We all have the ability, Frank. It's just a matter of remembering and developing and enhancing it with practice. It's like anything else. You want to develop a skill, you got to do it. You got to practice it. Get validation that what you're doing is correct and validation for the information you receive. It's a blast. Everybody's doing it. All little kids do it until their grown-ups say, oh, honey, that's just your imagination. That's not really real. It is really real, even if the grown Speaker 1 (3:23) -ups can't see it. Yeah, so it's just our imaginary friend was just us talking with someone who was there but not physically. Speaker 2 (3:31) Correct. And the grown-ups had probably been told. by someone or many people during their lives that what they were perceiving wasn't real. And so they shut it down. Speaker 1 (3:46) So also, so what I'm hearing you say is that just like the piano, we all have the ability to play a piano, but not all of us are Mozart. So does that also mean that we don't all have the exact same capabilities as the next? They're all unique to us? Speaker 2 (4:02) Yes. And the way that spirit communicates with us is unique to us because we all learn in our own way. Some of us are visual learners. Some of us are auditory or kinesthetic learners. Some of us just know stuff. Speaker 1 (4:17) Some Speaker 2 (4:17) of us have a photographic memory. And what I have found over all these years, Frank, is that spirit's going to utilize the easiest way, the easiest, most convenient. way to communicate with us. And that's going to be predicated on how you learn. I'm a visual learner, so I get visual information and I get everything else. I get auditory. I know stuff. I feel stuff. All of it. So that's been my experience is that at least initially spirit's going to utilize the easiest way to communicate with a person. And then once they connect with spirit, then everything comes online. Speaker 1 (5:00) Okay. So Speaker 2 (5:01) when Speaker 1 (5:01) did this all start happening for you, I guess? Like when you just realized, oh, I'm doing something unique and it's not just some weird imaginary friend I have. Speaker 2 (5:13) Not at all. I am not a psychic that had dead people chasing her as a child. Or if I did, I didn't know about it, Frank. So no, I, in my mid thirties, mid to late thirties, I had a friend give me a book. This is more than 30 years ago. I'm in my late seventies or late sixties now, not seventies, sixties. Let's not rush it. Let's not rush it. And I had a friend give me a book called Anatomy of the Spirit by Carolyn Mays, PhD, and she called herself a medical intuitive. And I thought, well, what the heck is that? I'd never heard that term before. And as you mentioned in the intro, I'm an inventor of surgical devices sold globally, and I was in the medical supply industry, not the drug side, the supply side, for more than 30 years. I manufactured surgical devices. and invented them. So I was really interested in helping people heal, but I was utilizing the traditional ways of working through their surgeons and physicians and other medical providers. And so that piqued my interest and I read her book and I wanted to know more. In fact, then we didn't have the internet yet. So I did the old fashioned thing, Frank, and I went to a bookstore, a Barnes and Noble, because I thought they'd be more likely to have more woo-woo. stuff. I'm using air quotes for those of you that are listening. Some more woo-woo stuff than even my local library. And I found a book called Hands of Light by the late Dr. Barbara Brennan. She was a physicist who parlayed very complex quantum physics principles into understandable English for the non-scientific mind. That would be me. She worked for NASA for many years as a physicist. And she was parlaying quantum physics into healing modalities, energy healing. And that really piqued my interest even more. And I called her school. Speaker 1 (7:12) Now, Speaker 2 (7:13) remember, we don't have the internet yet. And I asked her if they had anybody in my area teaching this stuff. And sure enough, they did. And so I studied with a graduate of her class for about six years. And now fast forward. I teach all this stuff in a weekend. Speaker 1 (7:30) So, Speaker 2 (7:31) you know, it's kind of like we use carrier pigeons and then we use ponyback guys delivering the mail and then the Wells Fargo wagon and then trains and the post office. And now we have instant communication. So things have all, they've all advanced. But it's all basically the same thing. It's tuning into a high frequency of spirit. And once you learn to do that, then you can take it anywhere you want. Speaker 1 (7:57) Well, that's definitely interesting. So you picked up a book, you read it, and you followed it. Speaker 2 (8:06) Well, I called to see if there was anybody teaching this stuff. And then I found my mentor and studied with her, went to classes. And it was so funny, Frank, because my family and friends were saying, well, why are you doing this? Because I was a wife and a mom and a businesswoman and, you know, I was cooking dinner and folding laundry and doing all regular stuff. And I said, I don't know. And they said, what are you going to do with it? I said, again, I have no clue. They said, well, then why are you doing it? I said, I really don't know. It's just fascinating. And I was led. I was drawn into learning it. And it came on board pretty quickly for me, I think because I was interested in it. Speaker 1 (8:49) And Speaker 2 (8:49) then fast forward here, I've been doing it full time for about eight years now. Speaker 1 (8:56) It's just Speaker 2 (8:56) a Speaker 1 (8:56) blast. It's so much fun. I'm sure you meet all kinds of people, which is right up my alley. Me too. Yeah. So when you start, I guess, a weekend and you're starting to teach someone, where would you start with someone, let's say, that is brand new to this and is kind of there for the experience, opposed to someone who's maybe into this stuff and has some knowledge? Is there a different starting point based on their experience? Speaker 2 (9:24) I have a prerequisite for all of my classes, Frank, and it's that the person has to speak English. Okay. Speaker 1 (9:31) That's great. That's Speaker 2 (9:33) it. Speaker 1 (9:34) That's it. Speaker 2 (9:36) Petit peu francais, you know, you know, a little bit of Spanish. Hola. That's about it. So they got to speak English and that's it. Everybody has the ability. We're all doing it. We're just not aware that we're doing it. If you've ever. had a thought of somebody and then you get an email from them or a text or a phone call or you run into them on an errand and you say, oh my gosh, I was just thinking of you. What a coincidence. Oh, not a coincidence. That's your intuitive abilities at work. Furthermore, we're all healers. Most people have comforted a child that's fallen down and skinned their knee and you... hold them on your lap and you kiss their boo-boo and then you set them off and they go play some more. Well, that's being a healer. You know, you're making that wound feel better or you're dressing it or you're putting, you're cleaning it and putting some ointment on it or something in a, you know, Donald Duck Band-Aid or something. And then likewise, when we say something that's comforting to somebody who's grieving or feels badly about something. They're having some kind of struggle in their lives. What are you doing? You're being a healing ear for them. You're comforting them. We all do it. We just don't realize what we're doing. And we all get information downloaded into our heads of what to do when you're seeing somebody who's not feeling well, who you know, or sometimes you don't know. You say, hey, can I help you? Are you okay? What are you doing? You're being led. Somebody's saying, go check on that old lady over there. Make sure she's okay. So we all get the information. It's just a matter of learning how to really develop it and enhance it. And when you get that guidance to act on it, because Frank, our heads are like big satellite dishes, they receive and they transmit frequencies. And every spirit has a frequency they keep throughout all of their lifetimes, and every thought has a frequency as well. So when we're tuned to the frequency of spirit, and that's what I teach, then you can receive that guidance Speaker 1 (11:52) very easily. Okay. So how would I know the difference whether or not getting an intuitive message or my imagination just running wild? Speaker 2 (12:04) Well, spirit uses imagination. That's part of the process. If you listen to my call-in show on Thursday nights at 8 Eastern, 7 Central, and 5 Pacific, people call in from all over the world, Frank. Can you tell I've said that several hundred times? I have. Could not. I think we just released show 829 when we're taping this. I've done it for a long time. And they call in from all over the world and I'll say, let's say somebody has a pain in their left elbow and I'll get them on my radar. And I'm like a human MRI. I can see inside people's bodies with their permission, of course. So it's like I'm looking at broken bones, torn ligaments, viral infections, bacterial infections, cancer, whatever. And let's say Susie Jo calls in and she's got a sore left elbow. So I'll get her on my radar, and I explain that if you want in a minute. And I'll say, okay, imagine your elbow looks like whipped cream. And I'll get these crazy analogies, and she'll say, okay. And she'll imagine her elbow looks like whipped cream, and then I'll describe what the healing's looking like. I see things get added, things get removed. I watch procedures that emulate what I saw in surgery and throughout the hospital for. 30 years of my career, sometimes I see healings and methodologies that haven't been invented yet. And as I'm describing what I'm seeing in my mind's eye, Frank, as the person with whom I'm working is envisioning that whipped cream on her elbow, embedded in that visual is the healing frequency. So it helps her integrate the healing into her body. It's really ingenious. So imagination is if somebody's focused on something and they think, oh, this is my imagination. You're right. Spirit's using your imagination to give you information that's going to give you the sense of, okay, I have a human frame of reference for this. Because we don't have a frame of reference for most of the energy healing we see. Speaker 1 (14:20) Okay. You're a human MRI machine. I love that analogy. Speaker 2 (14:25) I'm Speaker 1 (14:25) a Speaker 2 (14:25) human MRI. I'm like an x-ray or a CT scan. And yet, the thing that's so interesting is we've been using energy medicine for a long time in Western medicine. Now, think about this, Frank. What's an EEG? It's registering the brainwaves outside of the body. What's an EKG? It's measuring the heart rate. outside of the body. And what's an x-ray or any kind of radiology test? It's constructing pictures outside of the body with radiation or sound waves or magnetics. Speaker 1 (15:02) So Speaker 2 (15:03) we've been doing this stuff for a long time in our Western medicine model, but we just haven't thought about it. Speaker 1 (15:10) Yeah, no, I have not thought about it until just now. That's fascinating. That's so true. Speaker 2 (15:15) Right. So let's Speaker 1 (15:17) say you meet someone for the first time, right? Right. Like, and you know nothing about them. Like, so how do you go through the process of scanning them? So like, for example, me, I'm pretty sure that every body part of mine would just light up like a Christmas tree for you. So like, do you see it that way as like red dots or just glowing? Like, how would you see that when you start scanning? Speaker 2 (15:43) Well, first of all, I never scan anybody without their permission because I think that's unethical. It's an invasion of their privacy. So you either need to be calling into my show or you need to have scheduled an appointment with me. Speaker 1 (15:55) Sure. Speaker 2 (15:56) Or I'm not going to be scanning you for health stuff. Sure. And so how it works is I raise my vibrational level. This is what I teach. It takes me a nanosecond. I turn it on and off at will. Now, you're welcome to twirl three times, meditate for an hour, jump on your left foot and raise your right hand if you want, but it's not necessary. So I teach people how to do it on and off instantly. So I'll watch a laser beam come from my body wherever I am, and it'll hook into you wherever you are. I could find you if you were in a galaxy far, far away. Speaker 2 (16:29) And then I'll envision shooting energy from your feet up through the top of your head, and it'll be as if I'm looking at an x-ray or a CT scan or an MRI. Something will be identified immediately thereafter. There will be some type of energetic healing that will begin, like I described, something added, something getting removed, something happening that emulates what I saw in surgery, some kind of technique or... or device used that hasn't been invented yet, you may hear me say, oh, cool, I haven't seen this before. And that appeals to my inventor brain, Frank. And then I'll describe it to them. And it's fascinating. So I'll... Go in blind. Let's say I'm going to scan you. I'll go in blind first because I always want to see when I have somebody for an hour, not on my show. We're trying to get as many people on as we can. And so I limit it to one question, something that somebody wants me to check out for them. And I'll go in blind first. Something will be identified. And I always do that when I have somebody for an hour, Frank, because sometimes we're. We're seeing something that perhaps is asymptomatic and Speaker 1 (17:43) we're Speaker 2 (17:43) heading off a problem at the pass before it becomes a problem. And then I'll have a checklist of what they want me to investigate. You know, I'll look at your left elbow and I'll be healing and I'll look at your right earlobe and they'll be healing and we'll go down the list. And since, as you mentioned, I'm a buffet of psychicness. Speaker 1 (18:04) Yes. Speaker 2 (18:04) Because once you connect with spirit, you can do it all. Speaker 1 (18:08) We can talk to your dad, grandma. I can scan your cat. I can scan you. We can Speaker 2 (18:12) talk to your angels and your loved ones. We can do a past life. I mean, we move fast. We blow through a lot of stuff. And it is so much fun. Speaker 1 (18:21) Even Speaker 2 (18:22) if somebody's got some dreaded disease, everything's healable. There are miraculous healings every day. And people's bodies, everybody's body has the ability to heal absolutely anything and everything. And sometimes the healing is death because that person's spirit has decided they're ready to go back to heaven. And that's a healing too. Okay. Speaker 1 (18:47) So if you can, you know, talk about miraculous healings. What is one thing or one? event that you had with someone. Now, you don't need to give names. It's HIPAA law. But that really surprised you during it that they didn't even know was going on with them. Speaker 2 (19:09) Oh, I've got lots of them where we have new organs that have been generated and they show up on the scans at the doctor's office or the hospital and the doctors are calling me saying, okay, what are you doing and how does this stuff work? And energy healing is becoming way more well-known. It's becoming part of the zeitgeist simply because here in America, we have more than 800 hospitals now across the country, Frank, that have energy healing departments in them. Speaker 1 (19:41) And Speaker 2 (19:41) they're working with the regular medical providers. And a lot of hospitals have acupuncture departments in them now. Speaker 2 (19:52) The zeitgeist is changing and more and more research is showing. Actually, there was a study that was released in the last six months. MD Anderson, the big cancer center, University of Texas, they studied energy healing on, they did double blind, you know, placebo controlled, all that jazz, on cancer cells. And it was really remarkable, the healing that happened in those situations. To answer your question, what has happened that surprised me, I was working with a client who's graduated my class, and she had a ganglion cyst on her knuckle, on her hand. And I watched the healing happen. I watched it get scooped out. It was like a little marble almost, or a little pebble that was in there. And watched it get scooped out, watched a little bit of stem cell energy get used to fill in the divot. where it was scooped out. We went on, we did other stuff. We did other body parts with her, worked with her husband, probably talked to a couple of deceased loved people, loved ones. And at the end of our conversation, my graduate said, Julie, that cyst is gone. And to my knowledge, it hasn't come back. So it was gone in less than an hour on the healing that was performed. Now, really important point here, Frank. Nobody ever heals anybody else, ever. Speaker 1 (21:19) No Speaker 2 (21:19) doctor, no medical provider, no shaman, no healer like me, no chiropractor. Nobody ever heals anybody else. We all heal ourselves. Think about if you had a big cut on your leg and you went to the emergency room. Well, the doctor's going to stitch it up for you, but the doctor's not going to make your skin grow back. You make your own skin grow back. And that's how all this works. It's spirit working through me and with me to help the person heal themselves. And the work that I do, Frank, I believe is part of the big healing equation. Eastern medicine, Western medicine, chiropractic, homeopathic, herbalist, energy medicine, it's all part of the healing equation to help that person heal themselves. Speaker 1 (22:09) So Speaker 2 (22:09) once Speaker 1 (22:10) this is learned, would you be able to heal yourself then as well? Oh, yeah. Speaker 2 (22:15) Oh, yeah. All the time. I don't know Speaker 1 (22:17) if there's like rules out there. Nah. Well, Speaker 2 (22:20) rules, I think ethical rules. Sure, sure. Yeah. I was in a car accident with myself. I hydroplaned. Speaker 1 (22:27) Oh, I'm so sorry. Speaker 2 (22:28) Oh, gosh, probably 15 years ago. And I hit, I was probably 100 feet up. on an overpass. And I was going, sweet Jesus, please don't let me go flying off this overpass. I didn't know if I'd make it. And I hit the wall, which was solid cement with who knows how much rebar in it. And my car spun. I had lost control of the car because I had a hydroplane. There was so much water on the road. I wouldn't even go in that fast. So I did that. And when I had my foot on the brake at twisted. So I had two spiral fractures on my foot. The car was drivable home. The car was total, though, because I bent the daylights out of the frame of this big, huge, heavy sedan. And I got home and I had called my husband and he was waiting for me in the garage when I got home. Pouring still, pouring down rain. And I said, honey, I was... driving a couple of hours. I live in Birmingham. I was driving in from Atlanta. I said, I need to come inside and go to the ladies' room, and then we need to go to the emergency room because I have a broken foot. And he said, no, you don't. You wouldn't be able to walk on it. And I said, trust me on this. I can see where the brakes are. And he kind of laughed. He said, okay. Well, sure enough, I went in and I told the The doctor who was on call in the emergency room, I said, I have two spiral fractures. Here's where they are. You know, I just need you to take some films and give me a boot. And he looked at me like, okay, lady, what you been drinking? And he came back in the room after they took my x-rays. He said, well, I'll be doggone. You are exactly right, exactly where they were. How do you do that? So I explained it to him. And so he gave me a boot. And then I went and saw my. orthopedic guy and was in a boot for 11 weeks. Point being, yes, I can help heal myself. Yes, I Speaker 1 (24:23) can see Speaker 2 (24:24) things Speaker 1 (24:24) on my own body. So when you told that ER doctor what your injury was and then you told them what you do, like, was he still dismissive or was he even more intrigued? Speaker 2 (24:42) He didn't have time to do either, quite frankly. He Speaker 1 (24:46) said, Speaker 2 (24:47) wow, okay, cool. That's interesting. And he said, here, do this, this, and this. And he probably had 16 other patients waiting to see him. Speaker 1 (24:55) I Speaker 2 (24:56) find that it's not very common, Frank, that doctors necessarily want to know about what I'm doing because they're... plate is so full. And they have, what, 6.25 minutes to go visit every patient. And they're seeing 30 patients in a day. And then they got to do all of their notes and they got to do all that other stuff. And so they don't have time to really hear about a lot of this. Now, having said that, I've had a lot of physicians on my show and I train a lot of physicians. Speaker
