You may recognize Adam from his viral poem, You Are Who You've Been Looking For, that has reached over 250 million views. people. Wow. Adam, thank you so much for being here today. Thank Speaker 2 (1:22) you, Jackie. I'm really happy to be here. Speaker 1 (1:25) So Adam, I know most shows ask some typical questions, but before we dive into the juicy stuff, I'm going to ask you a very intentional question. Are you ready for it? Speaker 2 (1:38) I am so ready. How Speaker 1 (1:41) are you feeling in this season of your life? Speaker 2 (1:46) Ooh, I feel like I'm dying in this season of my life. Fully honest, I think that there is a very large part of my personality, my path, my journey that's coming to a close. And I don't know exactly what that is. And I'm just aware that it's happening. And I think that there's a lot of reasons for it. But if I had to just... honestly describe my current situation, I feel like I'm dying and being reborn into something new. Speaker 1 (2:22) With that, I know there's people listening and maybe they're going through similar. Most of us are, you know, we're always. going through different identities, different version of ourselves. But let's say someone takes that and they sees that as a negative thing. They feel overwhelmed. They feel stressed when really all that overwhelm and stress is expansion. Could you say like, what are some things you do in your death of the past version of Adam to the new version of Adam? What are some things and tactics you do to keep yourself motivated and looking to the future? Speaker 2 (2:58) One of the most important practices that I have during an intense sort of rebirth process is journaling. It's a real big part of my day-to-day when I'm in these because journaling allows me to see what I can't see when I'm just spiraling in my mind. It forces me to take it out of my mind and put it on the page. And often when it gets on the page, I see it a bit objectively. And that opens up some new possibilities for me. And wrapped into that is my creative process. Even this morning, I wrote two poems because to me, the creative process is a way for me to break out of the consistent loops and habitual ways of thinking. that so many of us actually fall into. For every human on the planet, pretty much 95 % of your thoughts on a given day you've actually had before. So a new way of thinking is necessary if I want to shift things in my life. And so my journaling practice and my creativity process are both huge, huge parts of my life, especially in times like this. Speaker 1 (4:16) So when you journal, you read it back to yourself and then you assess as a third party, like take me through journaling because people hear journaling all the time, but then people start journaling and they have no idea like how is that spiritual work? So explain it to someone who's just starting out. Like what do you do when you journal? What do you feel? What do you do after? Like walk us through how Adam journals. Speaker 2 (4:39) Well, I have a few different types of journaling, right? And I think probably the most obvious one is what most people associate when they think, oh, I'll just journal. It's just writing down what happened, writing down what happened, making bullet notes, saying what I want to happen and just kind of just stating the facts, right? That's I think how most people think about journaling. But one of the ways that you can take it exponentially deeper is just write a question and then let yourself free write brain dump in response to that question. And if I write, so this morning in my journaling practice, I ask the question, who am I not? Because I was talking to someone and they asked, I was telling them about I'm rebirthing and who am I becoming? And they said, well, who are you not? And I said, that's interesting. I don't normally ask that question. And I wrote that down. Who am I not? And then just free wrote about it. And that led to a second question, which was what no longer serves me. And so I write that question down. What no longer serves me? And then I just free write what comes out. And I think getting into a dialogue with our inner selves through journaling is an incredibly potent way to uncover things that we might not uncover otherwise. Speaker 1 (6:09) That's like one of my favorite books, Conversations with God. I don't know if you've read that one. I had to pause in between and I cried so much. I was like, this is so powerful. But I love that you said that because, you know, when you write a question and to anyone listening who's never done that before, when you write a question and this goes back because I did past life regression also, the conscious and the subconscious kind of go against each other in a sense. the subconscious wants to ask the questions and your conscious is going to, your programming is going to want to say like, is it really me writing this? So how do you walk yourself through those moments where you write something on the piece of paper, your journal, and how do you know that's Adam's soul versus, you know, just you just writing? Speaker 2 (6:59) Well, I guess I'll ask you the question, Jackie, of what would be the difference? Speaker 1 (7:05) For me, the more calm it is, the more I feel its spirit. If I use too much logic, I don't know if you know, but some people know I also channel. When it comes to spirituality, if I use logic, if someone asks me a question and my brain starts to answer, I automatically say I can't answer you. I'm not channeling. I'm using logic. So it's the same thing when we're journaling, if anyone's listening. You have to, what do you feel in your tummy? For me, it's the tummy area. And it's just kind of, it comes upwards. And it just, either I write it or I say it. Or it's in my energy field, right? the more calm, the more subtle for me, that spirit. Is that how it is for you? Speaker 2 (7:52) Well, I appreciate the level of attunement you have to your own kind of somatic experience. You go, okay, well, this is what it feels like in my body when I know it's coming from this place versus this place. And that would be one of the most important skills people can develop while journaling is just to notice where does it feel as though it's, coming from? Where are you feeling it in your body when you're writing this piece? So normally when I'm journaling and I'm thinking, okay, I got to do this today. I'm really frustrated about this. I agree. It feels very heady. It feels very much in the top part of my body. And then there will be other things that start coming through that, that feel. as though they're settling the craziness in my head and allowing me to arrive much deeper in my body. And that's often accompanied by emotion. So I've noticed for myself that, especially when writing poetry, I'll be working on a poem. It'll be very heady. I'm thinking about some next lines or whatever. And then I'll get into a flow and a few lines will come out. And oftentimes there's this burst of emotion. And in the burst of emotion, I know I've like unlocked something inside of myself, a space inside of myself that is beyond the mind. And now, whether or not I say it was spirit or God that gave me the line that unlocked it, or if it was just a deeper part of myself, I think that's far less important than knowing that. In that moment, there was an evolution. Every time we uncover a new part of ourself, every single time that we uncover a new pattern in ourselves or in our lives, we've just expanded our consciousness and the expansion of our consciousness will give us more possibilities for what we can create. Speaker 1 (9:57) That's so powerful and true. It doesn't matter. how or what there was an expansion. I think I really love that. That's, that's the most important thing for anyone listening. It doesn't matter how, if a new level is unlocked, you cannot go backwards. You've just expanded. Right. So that's super powerful. I love that point. I just think about how Speaker 2 (10:18) many, I think about how many people get caught up on the words it needs to, it needs, right. We have all these religions around the world that have so much in common. And yet, because the wording is different or the packaging is different, everyone's focused on what's different. Everyone's focused on this can't be true or that can't be true. And I think there's a lot of wisdom that gets thrown out, not just from religion, but from, you know, someone listening to us right now. If I use the word God, do they throw it out? Or if I don't use the word God and I say spirit or the universe or Pleiadians or Lemurians, if I use the wrong words, does the wisdom get thrown out? And so I do my best to try and ignore the packaging so much and really see if I can feel the truth and the vibration underneath it. Speaker 1 (11:16) So with everything we're talking about with energy, I'm going to dive a little bit into a term that has become... One of the most popular terms on the internet, manifestation. And I'm going to ask you some questions about it, if that's okay. Speaker 2 (11:31) Yeah, let's do it. Speaker 1 (11:33) So you talk about manifestation as a relationship, not a technique. What does it actually mean to be in a relationship with money? Speaker 2 (11:45) Ooh, well, specifically money or manifestation, just money specifically how to be in relationship with it. Well, Speaker 1 (11:51) if, if it aligns and you want to answer both and it will answer the money part maybe, but it, this question specifically money, cause I know you've manifested large sums and I know people are so interested in attracting money. So let's give it to them. Speaker 2 (12:07) Yeah. Yeah. You're most likely referring to I was paid a million dollars for my coaching services. And that was something that I saw happening in a vision in a plant medicine ceremony. And then five days later was a million dollars was transferred to me in one lump sum. And so, yeah, that story often people want to hear more to that story. And this is what I believe to be true. First, everything has consciousness. Everything. The shirt that I'm wearing, the gas I put into the car, the light that is lighting up my face right now, and money. Money has consciousness and carries consciousness. What I've found to be true is that when we are in right relationship with things, when we have harmonious relationships with things, and by harmonious, I... literally mean being in the harmonic resonance with. When we have good positive relationships with things, Speaker 2 (13:12) we put out a harmonious frequency and the laws of the universe mean that we will receive harmonious frequencies back in return. And so it's not just money, but specifically about money to be in good relationship with money. And that looks a lot of different ways. Let me get more specific. If I feel like a lot of people have this belief that money is the root of all evil, and I internally desire to be a good person and believe myself to be a good person, then by those two beliefs coexisting, I can't actually have much money. To have more money would go against the belief I have that I'm a good person because money is the root of all evil. And therefore, I would be more evil. to have more of it. And that's just a very simple example, but it goes a lot further than that. So are you the type of person who believes that the universe wants you to have money? Do you believe that money wants to find you? Do you believe that you do good with money and that you actually, the world would benefit if you had more of it? Speaker 1 (14:30) All Speaker 2 (14:30) of these types, subtle beliefs have a huge impact on our relationship to money and therefore what comes back to us. Speaker 1 (14:37) You know, it's interesting you said that. I feel that specifically in the spiritual community, that's a block that a lot of spiritual... people and leaders have is they think money equals greed. So they give so much of themselves and they don't receive the financial abundance back. And then they keep battling themselves in this loop because subconsciously there's that belief that money equals greed. So I love that you said that because I talk about that a lot on the show is. It's your belief system
