Speaker 6 (0:01) This is exactly right. Speaker 6 (0:06) I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Burden of Guilt Season 3 podcast. This is a story about a horrendous situation that destroyed two families. It's a scorched earth war that shows just how far someone will go to get what they want. Speaker 5 (0:21) Cindy said I had to choose between the truth and my family, and I had to choose the truth. Speaker 4 (0:36) Betrayal Weekly is back with brand new stories from threatening text messages disturbing a small Midwestern town. It was from an unknown number. Who else is getting these messages? Why did it start with us? To long cons and stolen identities. Who Speaker 5 (0:53) lies about being this sick? This was the last time I ever believed a word she said. Speaker 8 (1:55) Today we're going to talk about the most extra pilot that I have on United Airlines. We're going to talk about Caroline Leavitt on Red. We're going to ask you who would play us in a movie because I don't think we figured it out. We Speaker 2 (2:09) did you. Speaker 8 (2:10) A lot of people have done me. That's Speaker 1 (2:12) the word on the Speaker 2 (2:13) street. Speaker 1 (2:14) I'm sorry. I can't be laughing. No, you can't be Speaker 2 (2:17) laughing. Speaker 1 (2:17) We're going to talk about the lynchings in America and all the things going on with marginalized communities right now. And we also have Congressman Garcia, who is going to be joining us to talk about the Epstein files. We are going to also answer all of your questions from the DMs. So stick around. Speaker 8 (2:35) You've got a bone to pick with me. Who else you got a bone to pick with? Speaker 7 (2:38) Well, many people, but you especially. Speaker 1 (2:42) Uh-oh. Yeah. What happened? Show me on the doll. Speaker 7 (2:47) So let me tell you something, mister. I'm on Traders, and now I'm famous, and I'm too big for my britches. I'm not on Speaker 1 (2:55) Traders. Speaker 7 (2:56) Shut up. Speaker 2 (2:57) And now I'm too good. Big for Speaker 1 (3:00) my britches? I don't even have britches yet. Well, Speaker 2 (3:02) let me tell you what happened. Uh-oh. My friend Speaker 7 (3:05) TJ, shout out to TJ, sent me a message and said to me the following. Speaker 1 (3:10) Oh, no. Speaker 7 (3:11) Oh, Speaker 1 (3:11) no. There are receipts. I hate being held accountable. Speaker 7 (3:14) This is today at 2.42 p.m. And it's, I don't know what time it is now, but it's today. 4 Speaker 1 (3:19) .41. Okay. Speaker 7 (3:20) I just saw your friend Michael in the West Village and I called out to him twice. And in true trader fashion, he ignored me. Speaker 1 (3:29) Okay. Who Speaker 7 (3:29) do you Speaker 2 (3:30) think Speaker 1 (3:30) you are? I am never. First of all, I love attention. So if someone's calling my name out Speaker 8 (3:34) and I hear it, I want to engage. I did not hear that. OK, Speaker 2 (3:41) well, Speaker 8 (3:41) you know, look Speaker 2 (3:43) to camera. Speaker 8 (3:44) If someone you Speaker 2 (3:44) apologize to TJ right now, Speaker 8 (3:46) CJ, CJ, TJ. Speaker 2 (3:49) Because let me tell you, you know what it feels like. I'm gonna tell you all the things it feels like. It feels anti lesbian. Speaker 8 (3:57) TJ is a lesbian. Speaker 2 (3:58) It feels anti-black. It feels anti-tall Speaker 1 (4:02) person. Speaker 2 (4:02) TJ's a gay, lesbian, black person. Who's six feet tall with a little dog who lives in Brooklyn. It feels anti-all those things. That's Speaker 1 (4:10) TJ? Speaker 2 (4:10) Yeah, that's TJ. Speaker 1 (4:11) And I just got the name wrong, too. Damn. I'm sorry, TJ. I really... TJ does sound kind of awesome. I would love to... I would love for that Speaker 2 (4:20) shout out. Except she has a little dog and I don't really love little dogs, but T'Challa is kind of cute. Speaker 1 (4:25) Okay, not you already coming for TJ. Well, TJ knows how I feel about TJ's Speaker 2 (4:29) dog. Speaker 1 (4:29) Okay, so here's my message to TJ. I love, I'm a clinical narcissist. I love attention. So if there's any world in which I'm going to be getting it and I know about it, I'm there. So TJ, that's how you know I did not hear you. Okay. I also think me and my dog Jack are both going deaf at the same time because- I Speaker 2 (4:51) didn't ask. I didn't ask, TJ. You were with Jack. Speaker 8 (4:54) The two, the both of us are just losing it. Speaker 1 (4:59) Truly. And Brad is like making fun of the dog for being deaf. I'm like, stop making fun of him. Well, I've told you. He's choosing to not listen. Speaker 2 (5:06) Yeah. I've told you we make fun of Arthur Weasley sometimes. My three-legged cat who sometimes doesn't land the landing. And then sometimes we laugh at him. You Speaker 1 (5:17) said not land the landing. It reminded me. I was on a plane the other day. I was flying out of LaGuardia. Speaker 5 (5:23) The Speaker 8 (5:23) way this pilot had what could only be described as an unmedicated panic disorder and access to a loudspeaker. I was like, this is the worst thing. I have a fear of flying, but I've gotten over it. And so now I fly all the time. I'm totally fine. But the way I was regressing, Speaker 1 (5:45) because I'm sitting there, the guy next to me, I could tell is nervous. And I'm already like, oh, brother, like, I'm not going to help you put your mask on if shit gets weird. Like, you're not a child. You're a fully grown man. You're a consultant. Speaker 2 (5:58) And I'm Speaker 1 (5:59) reading your emails like it's fine. Anyway, so I get on the plane. They're taking off. And we've had these crazy storms all summer long in New York. And the pilot comes on the plane. We're pulling back from the gate. He goes, oh, my God. Oh, Speaker 2 (6:15) my God. You never want to hear that from your pilot or your doctor. Speaker 1 (6:19) All right. Like I've gotten over my fear of flying, but this is maybe Speaker 8 (6:22) going to this is this is disturbing. And he says, oh. Speaker 1 (6:31) I don't believe it. And so the guy next to me is like twitching. And so now he's kind of sucking me into the drama. You know how you have the friend who will kind of like beat you into the bullshit. Yes, Speaker 2 (6:40) you. Continue. I'm Speaker 1 (6:45) like, Melissa, you won't believe what happened. Oh, wait. My straw is here. I stabbed myself in the eye. Speaker 2 (6:50) I cannot save your eye again, Michael. Speaker 8 (6:55) Make that the YouTube screen, Michael. Did he lose an eye this episode? And this will be the photo. Speaker 2 (7:04) And that'll just be me with turning my back to it because I refuse to do it ever again to fix your eye. Me Speaker 8 (7:10) winking. Speaker 2 (7:11) Look Speaker 8 (7:12) at Speaker 2 (7:12) my Speaker 8 (7:12) Popeye. Did Michael poke his eye out this episode? And then he's like. They just told us, he said, look out the window to the right, folks. Speaker 2 (7:20) So now everyone's looking out the window. So now everybody's people are like, oh, what is it? What is it? Speaker 8 (7:23) We're Lucky Lou rubbernecking on the tarmac. He said, look at this line. They just told us that they're suspending takeoffs and we're going to have to wait in this line. What Speaker 2 (7:34) kind of drama queen did you have as a pilot? What airline is this? Speaker 8 (7:37) It's whoever is making the covers of our YouTube is the pilot. It's Christina from Exactly Right. And so. I can see the thing backing up from the door Speaker 1 (7:47) to the plane. So I'm like, why don't we control alt delete and get that just right back here. We can all go get off and get a Panera. No, Speaker 2 (7:55) they will not. They won't. They would rather let you rot on that plane for hours. Let Speaker 1 (8:00) me get Speaker 2 (8:00) one of Speaker 1 (8:00) the Panera lemonades that kills people. Let me get that. Why I got to wait here with this guy who's freaking out. Speaker 2 (8:06) So Speaker 1 (8:06) then I'm not kidding. Three minutes later, we're in the air. Speaker 2 (8:10) Oh. Speaker 1 (8:10) This pilot, he was like. Oh, yeah. And so had he not told anybody, you would have been no one would have known. I Speaker 2 (8:17) know. Speaker 1 (8:17) So then it was like that the whole flight. He was like, we are going to have unprecedented turbulence. The most unbelievable turbulence. He said, hold on to your wig, bitch. It's going to be in orbit. And I'm not kidding. Not a drop of my drink was spilled. It was filled to the brim. I didn't feel a thing. OK, Speaker 2 (8:36) man, Speaker 1 (8:37) I'm coming for you, United. I'm coming for United Airlines. Speaker 1 (8:43) Melissa is unimpressed. I'm Speaker 2 (8:44) unimpressed because you're a dirty liar. She's like, none of this happened. You Speaker 8 (8:49) are a Speaker 2 (8:49) lying liar who lies. And you do it for attention. She's sick of my shit. But I mean, speaking of being sick of shit, hey, folks. Uh-oh. I don't know anything about traitors. Speaker 8 (9:04) Oh, they're asking you. I'm sorry. People Speaker 7 (9:07) are asking me questions, and I want to be clear. I'm going to say it again. Not only do I not know, but until Michael told me that he was going to be on Traders, I had actually never heard of Traders before. Melissa's Speaker 1 (9:19) the Speaker 7 (9:19) worst Speaker 1 (9:19) person to ask. And Speaker 7 (9:21) so I don't know anything. And if I did know, I wouldn't tell you. Speaker 8 (9:29) So. This is why you guys could send her your worst secret because she will keep it. not give a shit and maybe even forget about it likely like melissa people tell her things they wouldn't tell the priest Like, it is unbelievable. A lot of priests are very creepy. They're in confessional. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ms. Malbranch, I have sinned. Speaker 2 (9:56) Yeah. But honestly, genuinely. Speaker 8 (9:59) Leave her alone. Leave me alone. I'm more likely to leak than her. Just ask me. For sure. I stole this from Trader Set. Oh, did you? I stole this from the castle. Oh, Speaker 2 (10:09) that's nice. I kind of like it. Speaker 8 (10:11) The Warped Room team gave it to me to wear. Speaker 2 (10:13) So, okay. They gave Speaker 8 (10:15) it to you or you stole it? So they gave it to me to wear on the show. Okay. But maybe not this show. A show. They gave it to me to wear on Traders, but it was unclear if they gave it to me to wear home. So when I was packing up my stuff, I was like, Speaker 1 (10:30) they were like Speaker 2 (10:31) - Did you take it on purpose? Speaker 1 (10:32) Yeah. Oh, okay. Because it was matching pants. Do you have the pants? Not on me today. Speaker 2 (10:36) No, but do you own the pants? Speaker 1 (10:37) I own the pants. Oh, yeah. And Speaker 2 (10:38) is it the same pinstripe with the flowers? Speaker 1 (10:41) Yeah. It's the same. So I could wear this to like a summer wedding or a birthday party. Speaker 8 (10:46) And Speaker 1 (10:46) you Speaker 2 (10:46) can wear it wherever you want. Wherever Speaker 8 (10:47) you want. I like Speaker 2 (10:49) it. Thank Speaker 8 (10:49) you. If you're listening, it's like a pinstripe zip-up jacket with sequin flowers on it. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, so I took a Trader Scott this for me. But everything Speaker 1 (11:00) else was my clothes that I wore on the show. Speaker 2 (11:02) Okay. Yeah. This Speaker 1 (11:03) was in my bag when I went to a detention center today. I had court this morning. Speaker 8 (11:07) Did Speaker 2 (11:07) you wear that to court? Speaker 8 (11:08) No. But I tried to dress like, you know, normcore Republican, like a blue suit with a red tie. Speaker 2 (11:15) I tried to really Speaker 1 (11:16) get into the drag of it. Speaker 2 (11:17) Okay. Speaker 1 (11:18) The Republican woman makeup filter. Speaker 2 (11:22) With like Caroline's, the holes in her lip from the filler. Speaker 8 (11:25) The holes in the lip. That's right. Maybe that's why she's Speaker 2 (11:28) quitting. Speaker 8 (11:29) Baby. Speaker 8 (11:31) Let's get into a sidebar. Speaker 2 (11:33) Let's get into a sidebar. Speaker 8 (11:34) They put that bitch on the plane that was due to get shot down. They said, you know, let's load her up cargo style. They said, you know what, Miss Levitt, you're going to be front first class this trip for no reason. She's like, why am I on the plane alone? Speaker 2 (11:51) Where did everybody go? Where did everybody go? With the Speaker 8 (11:53) echo? I was just like, what is that out the Speaker 1 (11:55) window? Babe, it's Turkey trying to shoot the plane down. Mess. And they literally were Trump snuck onto the other plane in like the food truck. Speaker 2 (12:03) Right. I know. Like how they Speaker 1 (12:05) sneak Taylor Swift into the car, into the festival. They're sneaking her in, in a bucket and a mop. Damn. This Speaker 7 (12:11) administration makes me care less and less about everything. Like it just feels anyway, it doesn't matter. I. All of this stuff is so distracting. Yes. Oh, no, I'm sorry. It's not actually distracting. They're throwing all this stuff at us in order to distract us from like the actual fuck shit that's happening. Yes. I'm so tired of Speaker 1 (12:32) it. Speaker 7 (12:32) Like why Speaker 1 (12:32) would Turkey want to assassinate the president in that alleged assassination plot? Speaker 2 (12:40) Right. Speaker 1 (12:41) Like what is going on? Speaker 8 (12:42) Apparently, Speaker 2 (12:42) if we were to believe them. Speaker 7 (12:45) It's a miracle he made it out alive of every situation. Speaker 8 (12:48) Yes. Yeah. Anyway, comment below if your boss has ever asked you to potentially die for your job. Speaker 2 (12:56) Right. Has your boss ever basically thrown you in front of them as a shield, as a human shield? Speaker 8 (13:01) And then Speaker 2 (13:01) after you Speaker 1 (13:01) survived, they threw a pizza party celebrating instead of a race. Right. Okay. So she's out. She's out of here. Whatever. Speaker 1 (13:11) So let's get into algorithm is showing. Actually, is anything coming up on your algorithm lately? Because I've been getting. Traitor stuff. I've been getting the Odyssey. Speaker 8 (13:20) Honey, people still can't see Miss IMAX. I went and saw it. I didn't see it in IMAX. Okay. It was like looking at a movie through a keyhole. Oh, no. Speaker 1 (13:30) I'm like, why is it Anne Hathaway's ear? I can't even see her. She's not even in focus. Our cameras are in focus better than theirs. Well, we Speaker 7 (13:39) have great cameras and lighting. We Speaker 2 (13:41) do. Speaker 1 (13:41) But like, Christopher, our budget's not a quarter billion dollars. No, Speaker 2 (13:45) I Speaker 1 (13:45) know. Miss Nolan, Miss Boots, what are you doing? Because- Diva. Why is that? Diva, why is that camera out of focus? Really? It was out of focus. I could not see anything. Was it dark or out of like. I was cleaning my glasses thinking it was me. I'm serious. I seriously was. I'm so sick of you. This is like people are going to come in and say Melissa actually hates Michael and he's afraid of Speaker 2 (14:08) her. Speaker 1 (14:08) Well, I Speaker 2 (14:08) mean. Today it's true. It's true today. Today it's true. Today it's true. Speaker 7 (14:17) That's interesting that you felt it was out of focus. What I always feel like about movies is that everything is so dark that you can't see anything. And Speaker 2 (14:26) not just movies, but like TV shows. And again, I know I keep on referencing Game of Thrones, but like, there was some battle where I literally went up to my TV and was like- And Speaker 1 (14:37) it was over Speaker 2 (14:37) Twitter. Speaker 1 (14:38) Yes. Everyone was like- Why is Speaker 2 (14:40) it Speaker 1 (14:40) so Speaker 2 (14:41) dark? Speaker 1 (14:41) Is this a faith-based battle scene? We have to assume that it's okay. Speaker 8 (14:45) Something happens. We just have Speaker 2 (14:46) faith that something happens. Speaker 8 (14:47) Is this an audio only, Steve? Speaker 2 (14:50) No, it's really annoying. It is Speaker 8 (14:52) really annoying. It's very, Speaker 2 (14:53) very annoying. A Speaker 8 (14:54) lot of shows are like that. And I think HBO is the problem. Speaker 1 (14:57) Like that is like where a lot of that goes down. Because there have been a couple where I'm Speaker 2 (15:02) watching. Speaker 7 (15:03) To be fair, it is not just HBO because I have seen movies in the theater where I'm like, this is what. I'm just going Speaker 1 (15:12) to guess what happened. Is it glaucoma or is this movie Speaker 8 (15:14) dark? No, it's the movie. It's the movie. It's dark. My eyes Speaker 2 (15:17) are fine. Yeah. Speaker 8 (15:17) I saw a TikTok about it that if it's in IMAX, if you move a little as an actor, Speaker 7 (15:24) an Speaker 8 (15:24) IMAX camera in a non-IMAX Speaker 1 (15:27) theater, it's going to look like you went out of focus. So the actors obviously have to move. Well, yeah. It's like an action movie. Speaker 2 (15:35) And also they're alive. It's not a photograph. People move around. They breathe. They Speaker 1 (15:42) get a little itch. It's annoying because they're going to win a bunch of awards. Speaker 7 (15:47) Not for best camera work. Not for Speaker 8 (15:50) the brief recess awards. I don't think they're going to win. Who would win? Who would play her? Who would play Speaker 2 (15:57) you in a movie? Speaker 8 (15:58) Who would play me in a movie? I want to say, not a joke one, not a joke answer. Yes. Speaker 2 (16:04) Who would play you in a movie? Speaker 7 (16:06) A real... Speaker 8 (16:07) Like we're going off looks or in mental illness? Speaker 2 (16:12) I'm asking you a serious question and you want to fuck around. Speaker 8 (16:14) Who would want to play me? Yeah. No. Who looks like me? Not who would want... Jason Statham kind of looks like me. If we put glasses on him, Speaker 2 (16:21) he's bald. He is bald. And is he tall? I feel like he might be Pekito Mas. No? I think he's short. Speaker 1 (16:28) Yeah, he could be kind of short. Speaker 2 (16:29) You know what? I actually have no idea. Speaker 1 (16:31) I don't know who's, yeah. But Speaker 2 (16:32) let's just say that it doesn't Speaker 7 (16:34) necessarily matter all that much if they look like you or not because there's makeup, there's prosthetics, right? So if there was going to be a movie about your life, who do you Speaker 2 (16:47) think would play you living or dead? I'll make it easy for you. Speaker 8 (16:51) Like play me well? Yes. Speaker 2 (16:53) No, like legitimately, who would be you? Speaker 1 (16:55) I would want someone like older. I don't like when people are like aged, like they age an actor to look. Speaker 2 (17:02) You'd rather them young Speaker 1 (17:04) them Speaker 2 (17:05) up? I would rather be Speaker 1 (17:07) played by someone like
