But it is sometimes nice to go somewhere that is just the polar opposite of where you live and do, you know, and just do and live the polar opposite. So I feel like you're going to love it. Speaker 1 (1:47) Totally. Especially being from here, you need to get like rehydrated everywhere. That's a healthy thing to do. That was Speaker 2 (1:53) the first thing that I really like loved because I love growing up here. Just you're so dry. And when I discovered humidity, I was like, this is a, why isn't this everywhere? I've been living in this desert my whole life and it is, it's like a skin drink. It's so nice. It is. It's actually so wild to me that you keep your skin, like, you look 21 forever. You always will. Oh, thank you. In Speaker 1 (2:14) this Speaker 2 (2:14) environment. Speaker 1 (2:16) Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I do have to be in L.A. a lot still, so maybe that's, like, saving me. But I've also, like, I grew up in Alaska, too, and ever since I was a kid, like, I've never really been in the sun too much. So I'm Speaker 2 (2:26) a Speaker 1 (2:26) big sunscreen girl. How old were you when you left Alaska? I was 10, so I was, like, in fourth grade. you know, up until 10, that's like the majority of like your young childhood. And it was like growing up in like the 1800s kind of because we were out in the middle of nowhere. We lived in this tiny town called Craig on Prince of Wales Island. And you see Prince of Wales Island a lot on those off the grid Alaska shows. So that was the vibe. Do Speaker 2 (2:48) you have running water? Did you have electricity? Speaker 1 (2:50) Did you have? most of the time we had running water. But there was times when we didn't. And I don't remember. I was super little when that happened. And I don't remember if that was because of like pipes freezing or if we legit didn't have water for a while because we live in these different like camps with mobile homes. And there's pictures of like me and my mom like going down to the river to get water in the pitchers and stuff like that. So it was like roughing it for sure. What Speaker 2 (3:13) did your mom think? of your life doing such a 180? Were you the type where you knew you wanted the bigger and the glitz and the glamour and the bigger life and the celebrity or did it just happen? Speaker 1 (3:24) No, I always wanted to move to LA. We used to vacation there when I was a kid, like do a Disneyland trip or something. And I always knew I wanted to go to LA. and like be in the entertainment industry in some way. Speaker 2 (3:35) So Speaker 1 (3:36) I don't think they were that surprised. Like it's not their speed at all, but they're just like whatever she's going to do, she's going to do. Yes. Speaker 2 (3:42) Yeah. And you've always been Speaker 1 (3:43) that way as well. Speaker 2 (3:43) Like when you put your mind to it. Very Speaker 1 (3:45) determined and very nobody can tell me anything, which sometimes isn't great, but whatever. Speaker 2 (3:49) I'm the same way though. So I think I love people like that. I was even saying to you today, I mean, you guys have probably seen due to my absolute obnoxious presence I'm about to have on social media about this, but. I've been banned from the win for so long. But let's Speaker 1 (5:53) dive in. Yeah, let's get into it. I think I want to start with Vegas because Speaker 2 (5:57) we talked a lot about, you know, deeper stuff on your podcast. We have a shared love for something that a lot of people do not understand. You know, a lot of people might not love it as much as we do. Yeah. Speaker 1 (6:07) And we Speaker 2 (6:08) know a lot of things about this city. And one thing I always ask people to do, and I've never gotten it from you, is I love a master list ranking of the Vegas Strip hotels from least favorite to most favorite. Oh. Speaker 1 (6:21) There's a lot of them to get through. I can tell you my favorites are obviously like Wynn and Fountain Blue. It's even hard to pick a least favorite because I have an appreciation for even like the really downscale camp ones. Like even like the Excalibur and like the Luxor. Like I can find things to love about those. I'm even like Circus Circus took my Rolex, but I still love it. I Speaker 2 (6:43) need, she told me it, but I need the people to hear this. Speaker 1 (6:45) Okay, so me and my friend Heather decided we were going to do like this content day at Circus Circus. They gave us their high roller. suite, which is like this two story like White House Oval Office looking room. Was Speaker 2 (6:55) it clean? Speaker 1 (6:56) Yeah, it was clean. And I let her have the big room and I went into like the adjoining side room. And like we were vlogging and stuff. I had my watch on and, you know, according to the footage until I went to bed, like I had a few gummies and I went into the room. And I remember specifically, you know, with the adjoining rooms, they don't have like a normal doorknob. You have to like lock the deadbolt. And when I'm like sharing an adjoining room, I always kind of feel like an like I'm dead bolting out my friend you know what I mean but you have to do it because there's no other way the door will shut so I remember specifically doing that because I had that feeling like oh poor Heather dead bolting her out not that she like wants to come into my room or whatever so I go to bed and but I didn't remember to do like that dead bolt thing that go whatever they call it that thing that goes over the hotel room door I go to sleep and typically like when I take like my watch or my jewelry off I don't think there was a safe in that adjoining room so I would do like I'd put it on the bathroom counter like right next to like the cup I'd use to brush my teeth so you just don't forget about it Anyway, I get up, we get ready, and they were giving us a tour of like their abandoned showroom, which was like really cool. So we go down there and when I'm in the middle of this tour, I think, oh, I forgot to put my watch on. So we go back up to the room and I can't find it anywhere. And we tear apart the whole room, like literally tear apart like the bed frame, everything. We can't find it anywhere. We have security. Like, look at the footage and, like, double check that I was indeed wearing it when I went in and not wearing it when I came out. And I just don't know what happened unless there was, like, somehow somebody had a way to get in in the middle of the night through the other door that wasn't deadbolted. But how creepy would that be? Yeah, Speaker 2 (8:19) it's a horrible thing Speaker 1 (8:20) to think Speaker 2 (8:21) about. And I do feel like there are some Speaker 1 (8:22) Vegas hotels. Speaker 2 (8:23) Where you can like, the win arguably Speaker 1 (8:25) is one. Speaker 2 (8:25) Where the security is high enough, like that if you don't put that deadbolt, like you're probably fine. And then there are the circus circuses of the world where that deadbolt is the only thing saving you from like so much chaos. But that is so unfortunate. But you just have such a positive attitude. It was Speaker 1 (8:40) like, oh yeah, just things happen. Yeah, I mean, it's Speaker 2 (8:43) a Speaker 1 (8:43) bummer. But like, also, I love a mystery. I'm just frustrated because I can't solve this one at all whatsoever. You Speaker 2 (8:49) do. That is one thing that we do not have in common. Is your love for the mystery and the ghosts. Yeah. And the ghosted, not ghost adventure, Speaker 1 (8:57) ghost Speaker 2 (8:57) excursions. Yeah. And you said you love the Luxor. Yeah. Do you believe the Luxor is as haunted as I believe it is? Speaker 1 (9:06) Yeah, it's the most haunted property on the strip. I haven't personally had ghost experiences there, but they have like the Titanic exhibit. full of all those artifacts. They have like the bodies exhibit with all those like dead bodies on display. Speaker 2 (9:21) Which I find to be so weird because the reason why the Luxor is so haunted, I mean, at least if you believe it, which I do, is that they built it on top. A bunch of people died in the construction of the Luxor. A bunch of the construction workers died and they just built it on top of their bodies. And then someone somewhere in a boardroom Speaker 1 (9:38) approved Speaker 2 (9:39) that there should be a bodies exhibit in the middle of the hotel. It's like, what the f***? Oh my god. I just recently went there for the first time in a long time. What were you doing there? I went to that place, Play. Have you seen that? Oh, like the Speaker 1 (9:52) adult playground? Yes. And Mako Speaker 2 (9:54) and I were just like bored and here for way too long. And we were like, let's just go do something so random. And it honestly was a really fun like date. Like it's really, really a cute thing to do. It's like swinging poker chips that are the size of this bed and you're running through them and stuff. Speaker 1 (10:07) But even just being in the hotel portion, it is like a spine tighten. Speaker 2 (10:13) And every worker has a story. The bartender was telling me about how at night when he closes up, bottles will just fly across the room. No. And he was like an old Speaker 1 (10:21) guy Speaker 2 (10:21) and he had nothing to lose. And I wasn't recording him. And like every Luxor worker. And that's what I do when I go there. I ask all the workers. What like makes you be able to be in those environments and not want to leave slash like not be afraid? Speaker 1 (10:35) I feel like every time I Speaker 2 (10:37) open my phone right now, I find out about another. concert or event that I need to go to. It's honestly been the only thing keeping me alive. Speaker 2 (13:27) Were you ever in there and weirded out or like what items weirded you out the most? Like what did you see in there? Speaker 1 (13:33) The items that weirded me out the most were not because I was scared of them, but there's some that I feel kind of like. seem kind of inappropriate to have out like there's like a celebrity room of like artifacts of like dead celebrities that didn't die too long ago like chris farley and stuff that just seem a little bit like is this really yeah Speaker 2 (13:51) or Speaker 1 (13:52) they have the bed he has the bed that like um it used to be dennis hoff's bed who owned like the bunny ranch the brothel and like i guess it was the bed like lamar odom od'd in but like it's it's weird to have i think artifacts about people who are like still around like that seems a little weird and Speaker 2 (14:07) it's like show us the annabelle doll before you sell it to matt rife we don't need that bed from the bunny ranch like that Speaker 1 (14:13) is just like fierce but did you ever Speaker 2 (14:14) feel presence in there or anything that like like scared you or you kind of were just like i'm gonna did you spend a lot of time there um Speaker 1 (14:20) i did in and out of there i'm trying to think i don't i mean they make the atmosphere like very creepy with like sounds and certain like and Speaker 2 (14:29) smells Speaker 1 (14:29) and different things like that and temperature. I don't think I had like a specific haunted experience in there though. I'm trying to remember because I feel like I might leave this and be like, oh, there was that one time and I talked about on YouTube three years ago and somebody's going to call me out and say I was lying and I'm trying to make his. Museum look weak. We have too Speaker 2 (14:46) much more. We can't remember it all. Honestly, the scariest thing in the museum to you was probably just fucking him. Speaker 1 (14:50) Yeah. Speaker 1 (14:53) Or the fact that everybody who works there is probably walking by thinking, oh my God, he was here with another girl yesterday and she doesn't know or something. You know what I mean? I just Speaker 2 (14:59) actually Speaker 1 (15:00) like, what a fuck. Speaker 2 (15:01) loser. I Speaker 1 (15:01) say really mean things about him in our text and I try to keep them really nice Speaker 2 (15:05) but you Speaker 1 (15:05) have a very and I relate to this in a lot of ways a wild roller coaster of a dating history. Speaker 2 (15:11) Yeah. You are so perfect to me and you've definitely had a lot of men do and be so crazy to you. Right. And you have prevailed so hard. You didn't let it weaken your desire for love. What do you accredit to that? Speaker 1 (15:25) I think I've just always had this really strong faith that like there's somebody out there for me. Even now, even, you know, being older and already being married and having kids, I still feel like there's one person I was supposed to be with the whole time. And just for some reason, it hasn't happened. I mean, I think I was able to move on to other relationships with kind of a new attitude because like getting out of like the Hef relationship, he was just such a strange anomaly of a human that I thought, okay, well, that relationship was weird for obvious reasons. So let's move on. And then. you know I'd learn other things through other people but I would say even like the last relationship with Zach like out of anything gave me more trust issues than anything I've been in before because he was just cheating so much and also like talking behind my back to these girls that is so cheat even cheating being one thing that's absolutely awful Speaker 2 (16:13) talking I I want to say an awful thing and I won't say it but like I I hope I never see him Speaker 1 (16:18) Yeah, like cheating, obviously it's a deal breaker and it's hurtful. But I always, you know, when I first found out he was cheating, I just kind of assumed, well, like, obviously he's lying about us being together. But I just felt like the topic of me would have been kind of off limits. Nope. Nope, not at all. And what was he saying? Well, the one girl who told me, I don't know if she even told me everything because she was very like hesitant, like didn't want to say it. But I was like, no, tell me. Tell me. Yeah. And she would say that, you know, because she would see me posting like pictures with him and stuff. So she'd be like, wait, no, you're with this girl. And he'd be like, no, she just can't accept that we're not together. And I don't call her out on it because I feel sorry for her because nobody else out there would be able to put up with her quirks. And she said he talked about me like I was handicapped or something. It was just really strange stuff. And it's so crazy too because if anything he Speaker 2 (17:07) was the one almost trying to handicap you, right? Right. Like controlling everything that you were doing. I saw you talking somewhere about just what it's like and you were talking about him. But being with a man who like clearly doesn't want you to work. like or succeed or like thrive or like get a big business thing or Speaker 1 (17:25) like do your own thing that's been a lot of guys i've been through he wasn't really like that he was very like hands off with that stuff and seemed like he was supportive of like anything i wanted to go do with my friends or supportive of like anything i wanted to go do career wise which i love that but also like you know
