Bismulah al-Ialah al-A al-Lah al-A al-Likon of Allahi Barakat. We're brother and sisters once again we are now looking and exploring the beautiful name of Allah-Suphana Wata-Aala. This time we are describing Allah's name, Al-Aaziz and also his attribute connected to it Al-Maziz. Al-Aiz is simply means the honorable, the authority, the one who is, and also his attribute, any disability, the one who is above any praise, the self-sufficient. And it also means the one who is unique in the marvels that he does. Al-Moiselle is an attribute of al-Aaziz. The Honorable the authority. Al-Moisiz means the one who also gives authority on honor to whomever he wills. says, Say O' Prophet, Allah, Lord of all authorities, you give authority to whoever you please, and you remove it and disgrace whomever you please. You honour whomever you please, and you demote whoever you please, all good is in your hands. Surely you alone are most capable of everything. Every source of honor, promotion or demotion, disgrace or upholding of someone's position in life. Where does it really come from? The source of it all is from Allah. This is what Allah is telling us in this name. And he is the one who is above all of them. Although in life there are certain people with authority, certain people with authority, certain people with power over us. We have to a believer is taught to believe that they themselves do not really possess any honor or power over anybody else without the permission of Allah And you might be thinking well why would Allah give or what is the wisdom behind him giving permission to those people? Allah supana what Taala does not give permission for people to oppress and wrong others or to claim a superiority complex about about of Allah's Uphala gives the permission of authority or power for certain people know that this is the ultimate test and trial for them and if he knows that they're going to fail in it then Allah's up, Allah's up-a-la has made it a punishment for them that is a lead-up slowly to what will happen to them in the hereafter. Anyone who tries to compete with Allah in the authority and power in a way that it is a lead up slowly to what will happen to them in the hereafter. has not permitted them to use it for is the greatest one of the major sins and can even lead to what we call shirk which is the most major of all sins and that is to make partners with Allah the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said that Allah says in Hadithal Kudzi al-A-I says al-qibria urida-i pride is my robe so whoever tries to compete with me it, I will disgrace them. This is a metaphor of course. And pride here does not mean arrogance or oppression above others. Pride here means that the only one worthy of really calling himself the most proud and the pride is Allah. Truly he is. Because what is pride? Pride is having the qualities of everything above everyone else in every shape and form and only Allah is the perfect one with that. So when we say Allah is the most pride, or proud, does it all not mean that Allah is the most arrogant, this is disbelief in Allah, but is the one who truly deserves to be above all. And no one else deserves to say that. So when you look at somebody or you feel that they overpowered you or they have authority over you, do not think of them as any one who has special powers or godliness of any sort. Do not fear them above what you should fear. Rather you should fear Allah above them. And the way to do that is to look at them as human beings as human beings. They are like you. They need to go to the toilet, they need to eat, they get sick, they've got problems, they've got hardships, they're governed by emotions, they've got needs, they can falter. And this my dear brothers and sisters includes that although Allah is the one who gives authority and the one who gives honor to a person, he also gave you the means and the tools for you to honor yourself as well. He guided you in the Quran. If you read the Quran, it's a complete curriculum and guide, it's a complete curriculum and guide of a self-development book beyond any other book you can ever read. And a law's book is the words of a law nothing can match it. It's called how to honor your self-esteem, what your opinion of yourself is. This is very important to understand that part of a law's promoting of a person and giving you honor is that he gave each one of us the intrinsic knowledge and the will to learn how to honor yourself. And honoring yourself does not mean putting yourself don't mix the two meanings, but it means how to have a self-esteem. What is self-esteem? It is your opinion of yourself. And so have a realistic opinion of yourself, but also at the same time, how do you honor yourself within your mind? Because it all starts here in your brain. It all starts within yourself that you are able to not see people above you, but see them as your peers, even if they were your employer, your authority, even your king or whoever it is, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, hypothetically, you, you, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, and that is to monitor the skills and the strengths that you have already and love them. This is what it means to love yourself, to love the skills and the person, they're strong, the strong characteristics and abilities that you have, whatever they are. And to not blame or blame yourself too much or give yourself a hard time over the weaknesses that you have, but rather look at them, acknowledge them, write them down and think to yourself, I will work on them as time goes on. Everybody has weaknesses. So this is your self-esteem, it all starts with there. And Allah, the Moiz's the one who promotes, he is the one who created that ability within us. The problem is that when we don't acknowledge it and recognize it, but rather we let the whispers in our head and the Satan whispers and our own whispers to tell us you are not worthy and not good enough. That's when we allow other people to step all over us. But the moment you look at that person who looks like whether they have more wealth than you or they have more wealth than you or they have more strength than you or more strength than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you or more skills than you are, or more skills than you are, position than you, whoever it is, right? Always look at them as servants and creations of Allah who have weaknesses like you have weakness. Whether you're going to a job interview, for example, or you're going to make a deal or a contract with someone, or even in the court systems or somebody who has authority over you that's going to sentence you or anything like that, remember not to look down upon yourself. But to acknowledge any wrong that you have done, because that's called confidence, correct. accountability when you're talking about judges and court and so on but always look at every person as a normal human being so that you don't put yourself below what you deserve and do not punish yourself more than what you are already deserving of. Let's say your employer or your job interview is coming up and you want to feel more confident the first ways is to write down the things that you are strong. in the things that you truly are good at. Remember them that even if you fail in the interview it's not a failure of who you are but rather you maintain your self-esteem and I promise you that you are able to speak better you're able to speak more confidently and focus much more. Brothers and sisters having said this, Allahaziz, Allahaziz, which means that he is the source of all honor and therefore you must only call Him the Aziziziz. When you pray always ask Allah with his name al-aziz oh Aziz oh most honorable oh the authority give me honor oh Allah the greatest authority do not put put a do not put strength of do not put the overwhelming superiority of others who have harsh hearts of superiority of honor wherever I go, whenever I speak and however I think of myself. Just saying these words, brothers and sisters, and writing them down and talking to Allah helps you change the pathways of your neurothinking, your neuro-plasticity in your brain, you can change it around and make different connections as you progress and grow older and develop your skills. Read, learn, take courses, take advice from other people like a mirror, work on yourself, make a journal, and always in sha Allah improve even after what is temporary failure. So Allah is Aziz. We find this name in the Quran where Ibrahim, the Prophet Ibrahim al-A-His-salam, he at one time got a thought. He had just challenged or the King of Babylonia had challenged him. He at one time got a thought. He had just challenged him. He had just challenged him. That the King is the greatest authority and that his God is greater to the point where the King himself said, I am also a God with the great God. So Ibrahim Ali Sala was called in front of him after his people witnessed that he was calling against the worship of stones and planets and stars and superstitions. And he said to him, tell me how your God is great, Abraham. How is he better than me, for example? And Abraham Ali Sala said to him, my lord, Allah. He brings life and death. The king with his superficial thoughts, we call this a straw man argument and followed by an accusation, said to him, poth, I can give life and death myself. He said, bring me, oh soldiers or security guards, two prisoners. They put him before him and then he said, he ordered to kill one of them and keep one of them alive. He said, see, I killed one of them, cause death to one and cause life to another. On face value you might think he has a point but that is the most ridiculous thing because the meaning or the context of Ibrahim al-I. Sala am saying means he gives he originates life and he originated death meaning the way that he created this world is that there is life and death and all you're doing king is that you're merely working within Allah's laws. You're just copying and using Allah's laws and working within his means. You're not you're not causing you're not causing you're not causing you're not causing originating originating and you're not it from yourself. You didn't choose when to be born, you just came out and you don't choose when to die. So instead Ibrahim Ali'i'zalam with his great self-esteem, realized that this man is a very ridiculous straw man argumentative type of person who has what we call logical fallacy. He said to him, okay then he accepted that he is a god, well he accepted that he claims to be a god so now he gave him a godly challenge. He said my lord brings out, he said, my lord brings out, he brings out, he brings out, he brings out. He brings out, he brings out, from where it rises. How about you reverse it and bringing out from where it sets? Now we can't argue because if we rendered himself a God, that means he should be able to reverse it. For Bujit al-Ladi Kaffar, he was dumbfounded the one who had disbelieved and ungrateful. He ordered that he be exiled from the land because that's what happens when people who fail and challenge with logical fallacies and disbelief, they start to attack. So he exiled him from the land. When Ibrahim al-a a thought came to his head about life and death. He said, oh my lord, show me how you give life and death. So, Allah's pantala asked him a rhetorical question. Rhetorical means Allah knows the answer, but he wants Ibrahim Ta'lizan to think for himself. So it's a form of when a teacher teaches this, their pupil to think for themselves by asking a known question. He said, that I trust that I can bring life and that he says, Bella, oh yes I do my lord in my heart, yes. Well I can lie at my inn and al-kalbee where I want to rest the stormy curiosity that
