Speaker 2 (0:15) We're all about the archers. I'm Philippa. And I'm Katie. And we're talking about events in Ambridge this week so far, from Sunday the 20th of September to tonight, Tuesday the 22nd of September. Katie, you are just raring to go. You have things to say. Speaker 1 (0:32) Please tell me. I have words, a lot of words, many words that I can't say because we're a PG podcast. I am fuming. About which aspect? Just from the heart. Stella and Pip, I am so angry because they were clear. They put the names on the invites. I'm going to go. Just let me go. You can edit this down. It's fine. Three hours later. No, no, I'm good Speaker 2 (0:55) for it. Speaker 1 (0:57) They had the names on the invites. That was what they did. That was exactly what we did. We only put the names of the adults. We had a child-free wedding. Didn't put the children's names. If anybody asks a question, we were like, no. sorry not it's just going to be child free chance for you to let your hair down have fun if you can't make it that's sad but we understand it's fine it's not a problem and also we had a website a wedding website and that also said no children allowed under the faqs but and we did not back down we we did have friends and family who couldn't make it because they didn't have child care but that was our decision you're paying per head it's expensive to then throw How are they throwing all these extra people in that they're then off to pay for? It's not just a case of, oh yeah, let them come. You're going to have to be paying per head. Oof, I am so angry. I was so angry at Natasha just being entitled and oblivious at the whole, well, my children will be there. Why? Why will your children be there? And then Stella, come on. Speaker 2 (1:59) Yeah, I thought in the battle of Stella versus Natasha, Stella would be the winner. I was really shocked that she let Natasha climb all over. And there's a four year age difference between Serena Nova and Rosie. I mean, I just I don't know why it's taken Rosie pointing it out that she doesn't get on with them. for them to consider this. You know which kids get Speaker 1 (2:25) on with which. And so this shouldn't be a surprise. Yeah, I was just, I Speaker 2 (2:29) really wanted to hear Stella just cut Natasha out straight away and instead we've got Speaker 1 (2:35) this mess. But also I always thought Stella was a bit, not anti-kids, but not as keen on kids because of just how she's been with Rosie and possibility of another kid, that kind of thing. I don't know. I thought she was always a bit more... hesitant and maybe not as open to the idea and now she's the one yeah let's bring everybody's kids let's have a crash no it's a wedding it's your day it's not the children's day they don't make it more fun they make a noise they're annoying they get in the way it's your day how Speaker 2 (3:08) bejeweled do you think these dresses are that natasha has secured for the oh i imagine them to be incredible Speaker 1 (3:17) I imagine them to be the kind of outfit I would dream of wearing to a wedding. Just huge poofy dresses, big sugar plum fairy, all the gems, all the toile, all the collars. It'll be amazing. Speaker 2 (3:31) And I'd got in mind that Sarah and Nova were a bit precocious. I mean, having Natasha and Thomas parents, you know, where on earth did I get that from? But then I thought Rosie was a bit, I think they're all quite difficult, the children, but... To hear that even Rosie doesn't get on with the two of them, I did laugh to myself. It's just going to go horribly wrong. Instead of bring a bottle, it's bring a child. Everybody's going to bring one. Speaker 1 (3:54) It's going to be hideous. You'll be able to hear a thing. Speaker 2 (3:58) Maybe Elizabeth says, I'm sorry, we don't have the space. We can't extend the room at Lower Loxley anymore. Or you're going to have to pay another bazillion pounds. And then maybe they'll suddenly go, actually. Yeah, Speaker 1 (4:14) I do think they've not thought about the extra expense. It's not just bring somebody else. It's paying for somebody else. Because they're not going to be having a cheap meal. Yes. Speaker 2 (4:25) Yeah. They're going to eat the food or leave it and say, what's this? Don't like this. Martha's going to want her pink sparkly cup. Zanda, Speaker 1 (4:34) all of them. They're all going to be there. There's going to be more kids Speaker 2 (4:37) than adults. There's going to be hand marks everywhere. They're going to have to lay on a children's entertainer. It just changes. I mean, each to their own, but they didn't want children. Obviously Rosie, because she's
