Speaker 2 (0:00) Is telepathy real? There Speaker 1 (0:01) are certain types of people who have a certain part of their brain that's more highly developed that allows for them to really be more and more telepathic. Speaker 2 (0:10) Perhaps we become more powerful than we're taught to believe that we are. Speaker 1 (0:13) You are a quantum being. We have huge potential within us and we are barely scratching the surface of our potential. Speaker 2 (0:20) Is science able to prove the existence of God. Speaker 1 (0:25) What a lot of people don't understand in the New Age is that Speaker 2 (0:40) Dr. Teresa Bullard, thank you so much for making time to do this. Speaker 1 (0:44) Thank you, Erin. It's a pleasure to be here. Speaker 2 (0:46) Dr. Teresa, as a PhD physicist, and also, I would say, a metaphysicist, if that's appropriate to suggest, what do people in the New Age movement get right and wrong about the concept of manifestation? Speaker 1 (1:03) That's a great question. I love that. First of all, I would say that so much of the New Age movement on manifestation is very centered around the idea of law of attraction. Right. And law of attraction is about the principle of vibration, you know, that everything vibrates. And if you match the frequency of what it is you want to attract, then it'll come to you. But the principle of vibration is just one principle out of at least seven principles. And what a lot of people don't understand in the new age is that these principles, whether we look at them from a physics perspective or whether we look at them from a. ancient hermetics, which is where, you know, principle of vibration comes from the seven hermetic principles, is that these seven principles all work together like a vehicle. And if you take any one of them away, the vehicle doesn't really drive properly anymore. So the law of attraction, the principle of vibration is just one piece. It's a key for sure, but it's not the whole picture. And so because of that, so often people, as they're working law of attraction, it's like they're, they're. They're forgetting things, you know, they're forgetting. OK, I can't just sit here and meditate and visualize it. I got to also create a plan. I got to go out and do things right. There's a law of cause and effect. I can't just, you know, one conscious level, try to manifest something, but subconsciously not believe that I deserve it or that it's even possible. Right. So then there's an incongruence and there's this principle that everything is all his mind and that. you know, we have to have everything congruent and coherent at all levels of consciousness to really be able to draw it in. So there's multiple things. And from a quantum perspective, Speaker 1 (2:54) You know, we're constantly informing the quantum field. The quantum field works on information. So you might be informing it consciously at one level, subconsciously something else, super consciously something else again. And if we're not bringing all of these into this alignment, right, this is the Align podcast. So if we're not bringing them into alignment, then you're creating like duplicity, multiplicity into the quantum field and you're going to get mixed results. So what I have found from both science and metaphysics is that, okay, when you understand all the keys in the complete picture, then you can be more effective at your manifestation process. What Speaker 2 (3:35) is the fastest, highest leverage, most effective way for a human being to come into coherence? And what does coherence mean? Speaker 1 (3:45) Okay, so we'll start with what does coherence mean? Coherence is about kind of like a laser. So if we have vibrational energy, everything is operating at a certain frequency. Coherence means you bring all of those into the same frequency. So it's like a laser. It's like dialed in to one frequency. Everything is in phase. So it's vibrating together at the same rate in the same kind of beat. And it's all focused in the same direction. So rather than it being like scattered light, like the sun, you know, it's kind of scattered light and you have a full spectrum of it. A laser or maybe an LED is like very finely tuned into one frequency and it's directed into a very particular direction. So everything is really harnessed. It's brought into alignment, resonance, harmony, like all of that comes in when we talk about coherence. And one of the things that I teach at the Quantum Learning Academy and in our iQuantum kind of retreats is that I believe to achieve coherence the fastest is to start from the foundational level of who you are, which is you are a quantum being. So at the very fundamental level. You're not just your brain and your heart and your gut and your DNA. You know, there's so many levels to us. But if we go to the very core, the very foundation of our being, we are, you know, atoms and particles and fields of information. And if we can tap into that level and bring coherence to us at a quantum scale, then from the ground up, from the foundation up, everything will start to come into coherence. So the quantum. A quantum state of coherence is the fastest. Speaker 2 (5:37) Tangibly. Speaker 2 (5:39) materially, objectively speaking, what is a super incoherent person look like, feel like, taste like, smell like? What is a super coherent person look like, feel like, taste like, smell like? How Speaker 1 (5:53) do you know? Am I coherent? Are you coherent? How do I know if I'm coherent? Speaker 2 (5:57) What does that mean for like a 12-year-old or, you know, me? Speaker 1 (6:02) So somebody is not coherent. They're going to feel unclear, right, about their direction in life or what they should be doing. They might feel anxiety. They might feel inner conflict. They're the kind of person who's like scattered. You know, they may sort of this way, that way. You know, they're sort of going in multiple different directions at once and lacking clear direction and lacking clarity of who they are. Whereas somebody who is coherent is going to be really at one with themselves. They know who they are. They stand in their center. When you're in their presence, you're going to feel a certain, like this person has clarity. They have confidence. They are, I feel good when I'm in their presence. Like they, like if there's a peace that comes with that presence, they have like an aura and energy about them that just feels really strong. Yeah. So those would be some good characteristics. Speaker 2 (7:03) So the opposite of that would be like a borderline personality or a schizophrenia or maybe a multiple personality, or perhaps they could be coherent in multiple personalities, but borderline would be probably more of like a clinical kind of psychopathological description of a lack of coherence. Is that correct? Yeah. Speaker 1 (7:21) If you took it to an extreme, yeah. Speaker 2 (7:24) How does that affect our resonance? and the way that the and the law of attraction how for a 12 year old or myself how do i come into understanding of the law of attraction and how do i begin to use the law of attraction to be able to attract that Speaker 1 (7:43) which i desire and Speaker 2 (7:45) kind of release that which i don't Speaker 1 (7:46) so law of attraction is that you your frequency that you're dialing into needs to match the frequency of what you want to attract But that means you got to really be doing that at deep levels, right? You have to feel like, first of all, you deserve it. You have to believe it's possible. So at the deeper subconscious levels, there has to be that like, yes, inside, I'm ready for this. I deserve this, right? This is possible. At the conscious levels, you have to have clarity around what is it that you're trying to attract and why. Right. What's the purpose? And and and be clear like this is the direction versus thinking like, oh, I've got multiple things. It's not that you can't do multiple things. Right. Like I believe that we can be very multidimensional, but we have to be focused on one thing at a time and then really pursue that. Put your whole focus towards it and make that happen. And you got to step into action with it as well. You can't just sit there and. hope it's going to come to you without you having to do anything, right? So we have to be practical and make sure that our actions are also aligned in helping us fulfill what it is we're trying to create. So it's a visualization, it's an embodiment, it's an action-oriented thing. So we're taking all of these steps. And I would also add to that at a spiritual level, our why needs to match. Speaker 1 (9:20) our purpose, you know, it needs to match like what we're here for in some level or what we're here to learn at some level. Like there's, there's gotta be this alignment at multiple planes of our existence, not just coming from our conscious mind or just from our ego, uh, you know, too much materialistic drip drive for what it is we're wanting to manifest tends to, uh, be the reason I think a lot of people get mixed results. But if you're desire of what is your wanting to manifest aligns with your higher purpose and somehow you want to make a positive difference in the world, not just for yourself, but for others as well. Now we're talking, okay, there's alignment that happens here. And you got to believe that you can be the person to do that. Speaker 2 (10:05) What do you think the best tools to be able to create resonance or coherence within the self are? If there was something for me, if I had one hour today, to create maximal resonance and coherence within myself and it was a competition how would you coach me up in that hour to create maximum coherence and resonance so Speaker 1 (10:27) like there's on my show on Gaia with mystery teachings for example there's like a lot of different exercises that I lead people through to help them first of all not just reach coherence but to awaken their greater potential Speaker 1 (10:42) Meditation, of course, is a really important tool because if we want to come to a space of coherence, we have to first achieve a state of stillness. We have to kind of quiet down all the various thoughts and emotions and things that are going on inside of us and just bring everything to that stillness. When you can then reach that stillness, then is when you want to really bring. whether it's through like a mantra or the visualization of what it is you're trying to create or manifest, you're going to bring that forward into planting that seed within the stillness and then allowing the energies to accumulate around it. So then it's not just like visualizing externally, it's feeling it internally as well and filling yourself with the whole, you know, all five senses, right? What does it look like? How does it feel? What are the kinds of things people are saying to you as you celebrate already having created it, right? Already being on the other side of that manifestation process. So meditation, but I also feel like it's not just about meditation, right? There's words that need to come into it. Our words weave, our words inform the quantum. whether it's through our written word or our spoken word. And this is one of the things that I'm talking about in my presentation at the Gaiosphere at the Ancient Civilizations Conference coming up here is that we weave words and we're constantly informing the quantum field with our words. So affirmations, yes, but also you got to listen to... your own meta language, right? Your, your deeper subconsciousness is reflected in the words you speak on a day-to-day basis when you're maybe not being so conscious, but you're just kind of in your normal flow. And what are those words? You know, it reveals to you and, uh, what's going on in subconscious, but it also informs the quantum. And so this is where our words have to be really aligned with our. intention. So there's ancient magical practices, for example, from various ancient wisdom traditions that are about, we have the intention, we have the words, we have the right actions, and we have maybe some kind of a ritual that we can use to harness and focus the energy. From my practice in the modern mystery school, We use ritual quite a lot to help us recognize that we're part of the equation, right? We don't just sit passively and receive. I mean, meditation is a big part of it and affirmations, you know, great and visualization is great, but we also have to be in action to harness these energies. So we would, you know, first really get deep into what it is we want to create, get that clarity and then use a form of ritual to. weave the words, the actions, the sacred geometries, and so forth, and harness these powers, call them in from the universe, from the quantum, from the spirit, from whichever name you want to call it, and then direct it towards the physical really actively. Speaker 2 (14:10) How did it happen for humanity or Western culture to have transitioned from a more, having more of a... a deeper relationship to concepts of mysticism and theology and maybe you could say metaphysics and things of the sort alchemy things of the sort into kind of scientism and having like a condemnation of that which is not visibly felt and seen and held in my hand we've kind of like condemned the invisible world a little bit it feels like we're kind of transitioning back into the invisible again. But for a long time, it seems like humanity split into kind of like a dualistic, separate, reductionist, materialist lens on life and reality. How did that happen? When did that happen? And what is the effect that that's had on a modern person today? I'd like to take a moment and share a word from our sponsor. I'm incredibly excited to be sponsored by Cowboy Colostrum because I have personally been taking colostrum for a very long time. It's one of the only compounds that I would actually consider a superfood. What colostrum is, is the first milk that is produced from a mammal after giving birth. It is chalk filled. with peptides and growth factors and all the compounds to nourish life as well as nourish your gut your gut is the foundation of health and the rest of your systems of your body and this stuff is incredibly supportive for the health of your nails the health of your hair your skin your connective tissue the lining of your gut really important stuff and it's also this is the highest quality colostrum i think you could possibly get it is female owned which is fun and i think that's just a cool thing it says cowgirl owned on here which i think is super cool. Organic freeze dried strawberries is the flavor, organic monk fruit extract. Everything is the best about this and you can get 25 % off. So if you go to cowboycolostrum.com and use code ALIGN at checkout, again, that's ALIGN for up to 25 % off of your cowboy colostrum. I cannot recommend trying this stuff enough and to get 25 % off is a pretty sweet deal. So go check it out. Speaker 1 (16:25) I love that question. It's right up my alley. We actually just were. So a lot of this centers around some events that happened in England in the early 1600s. And during that time, right, so we were in the scientific revolution where like Galileo and Kepler and Francis Bacon and so forth. And these scientists who were actually very metaphysical. They were deeply spiritually, spiritual people, and they were trying to understand the mind of God, if you will. They were trying to understand the universe and how it operates. And they felt that if we can understand these laws and these principles by which God created the universe, then we can come closer to knowing and connecting with the mind of God. And so for the early scientists, it was very much a. Speaker 1 (17:19) devotional practice really to explore into things like alchemy and, and, you know, science ultimately came from alchemy. Medicine came from alchemy. Even our modern concepts of certain psychology came from the alchemical tradition. Yep. Can Speaker 2 (17:36) you define alchemy? Cause I know that there's like the idea of alchemy being like iron or lead or something into gold, but then there's also like, um, uh, like a kind of a metaphysical or more like. process of individuation explanation of it as well for a human? Like what is alchemy? Speaker 1 (17:52) Sure. Alchemy is the process of transformation. So it's how we start from raw material or wherever you're at, you know, whatever it is you're working with, taking through that transformational process, whether it's a plant or a mineral or yourself, and then how we can transform it into its optimal state, how we can essentially Speaker 1 (18:17) purify and raise vibration and take it from A to B where B is always better than A, right? So our end result is always a better state than our original result or original state. And it's sustainable. So alchemy in transformation, it's such that you can't go back to how you were before because you have. truly transformed. So it's a sustainable, lasting state of transformation versus change, which you can make a change, but you can also change again, right? You can change can be like, what clothing are you choosing to wear today? Right. I'm going to go change my clothes. So change and change can be for better or for worse sometimes. Right. And it's a little more unpredictable, whereas transformation is a formula. There is a process to it. And the study of alchemy is understanding. the ins and outs of that formula and how that process unfolds and then how we can interact with it consciously, how we can participate with it to basically accelerate the process. Speaker 2 (19:21) So Speaker 1 (19:22) alchemy is a universal process, a universal unfolding that happens throughout the universe. And we can talk about the alchemy of a star. For example, it happens at cosmic scales. We can also talk about the alchemy of, you know, fusion and happening at the subatomic scales right so alchemy happens at all scales but it also happens within our own lives and so the uh ultimate goal of alchemy when they talk about the transforming lead into gold that was actually yeah they might have there might have been people who tried that physically and and there are even some cases where they say they succeeded But ultimately, the bigger goal of alchemy is about the transformation of your own self, your own soul into a more perfected state and or into a more like masterful state, achieving that state of enlightenment. Right. So no matter what path somebody's on, if they're seeking to improve themselves and they're really seeking to expand consciousness, they're going to go through the alchemy. But when you understand what are those stages, then you know, okay, where am I relative to the transformational journey? What do I need to get to the next stage? What do I need to do to get to the next step so that I can participate with this process rather than fight the process? And then especially when you get to the midpoint, so like they talk about seven stages of alchemy. And when you get to the midpoint of it, usually this is where at a natural level, like if you're just naturally letting the universe take you through the journey of transformation, you tend to get to the midpoint and then slip backwards. Like you don't take it all the way forward. But from that midpoint onwards is where it really requires our participation to dig in and go for the deeper, more subtle. impurities, if you will, or subtle attachments that we might have so that we can really shift and break through the ego and its hold on the soul. So this is at a, you know, personal level, how we apply it. So, and in the, you know, to kind of tie that back into the journey of science, the original scientists, all of them were studying alchemy. You know, they were all alchemists. And to them, you can't really separate you, the experimenter, from what it is you're experimenting on. Because they had a mindset that everything is connected, everything matters. Even the position of the stars and the moon and the sun, everything matters. And so they were paying attention to the totality of, you know, all the alignments plus their own internal state. And then as they were working on something like an herb to create a medicine, for example, a remedy. They were recognizing that I'm also part of that. And whatever I'm taking this herb through this, you know, alchemical process to create this remedy, I'm taking myself through that as well. Right. So they use their laboratory work as a reflection of their own, or maybe sometimes as a catalyst, you know, a way to kind of reflect to themselves, where am I getting stuck? Where am I, you know, not quite making the breakthrough. And so everything was connected in the alchemical mindset. So here in the scientific revolution, you have this time where they're all practicing alchemy. But then around the early 1600s, and this is kind of between like London, Oxford and Cambridge, we had all these scientists who were wanting to. essentially bring science, the industry of science, the study of science, to being seen as a credible field of academic research. And they wanted to, so like Francis Bacon was one of the original people to say, we need to make this reproducible. We can't have
